"I've got good news and bad news," Blanky said.
Francis cast him a wary gaze from across the Great Cabin's table. "Go on."
"The good news is, I got Lady Silence to tell us how to deal with the bear."
"And the bad news?"
"One of us is going to have to fuck it."Fill for Terror Kinktober day #23: Size difference.

Summary
"What on earth are we doing here?"
Something vile, suggested Thomas' head. Something wonderful, suggested his heart. He knew what he was, and did not hate himself for it, but the voice of conventional morality would nevertheless speak to him at times. He bid it be silent. "I'd call it comfort, sir," he said. "I would like that. To be a comfort to you. A friend."
"And a pet?"
Isolated, touch-starved, and more than a little co-dependent, Jopson and Crozier find comfort in playing a strange game.

Summary
“In my professional opinion, a molly is exactly what you need. No feelings, no obligations -”
“Satisfaction guaranteed or your money back?”
“No refunds! But then again, I’ve never had any complaints.” Thomas winked, and was gratified to see Edward draw in a deeper breath than usual, tongue darting out to wet his lower lip. Another stage of the lock undone; just a little more, and he’d have him.
When not at sea, Thomas Jopson is a sex worker. On one particular evening, he meets a handsome stranger with a tantalising request - to satisfy his curiosity regarding sodomy before he goes away on a long journey.

Summary
The officers of the Franklin Expedition live to die another day.
1860
“Mr. Jopson,” said James. “I had hoped I might question you.”
It was a plain falsehood. It was Francis he’d hoped to question. And he would have questioned him, too, save that he was three days too late; the old Irishman who lived on the hill with only his manservant for company — the navy man — yes, Crozier, the same who’d been in the papers some years past for that awful business in the Arctic — was dead. Dropsy, said the doctor.

4. DISCUSSION
There are several possibilities regarding the identities of these two individuals and how, if at all, they may have known one another. The least questionable aspect of who these men were is that of Skeleton 1. It is almost certain he was a member of the 1845 Franklin Expedition. The question that remains, then, is who? And why did this second individual come to die at his grave?
