Summary
In 2001, four high school freshmen disappeared at inexplicably on a field trip. The case ran cold within months, and their disappearance was eventually declared a freak accident. Ryan Akagi and Min-Gi Park, the two high school seniors who were chaperones looking after the group, stayed out of the public eye after the incident. No one has heard much from any of them since.
Two years later, Grace Monroe comes across a strange notebook in the woods outside of town. After digging further, she learns of a mysterious “numbers train” and all sorts of inhabitants that live there in the train cars along with the passengers that travel within them.
When the notebook ties this train back to an incident where four kids disappeared in the woods two years ago, she, her friend Simon Laurent, and a strange new companion decide to turn the heat up on an old case. Before they can go any further, they'll need to talk to some old friends of theirs to put the pieces together and find that train again.

Summary
Ryan Akagi been on his own for a while after he left his hometown, but he seems to have found a place for himself with like-minded bards. But sometimes he wonders if leaving the life he once had was the right choice for him.
Raine Whispers has been stuck in a slump for weeks, so Darius takes them out to a club for a night of fun. They meet a young bard who they realize have a lot more in common with than they're willing to admit.

Summary
Simply put, Chicken Choice Apex is the name for the friendship dynamic between Grace Monroe, Ryan Akagi, Min-gi Park, and Simon Laurent. Also known as the **False Conductor's Ensemble**. Now obviously we ignore canon (because of the timeline they’d never interact) here but for the most part, their personalities (and their backstories as much as I can) remain the same. The majority of the AUs where this dynamic exists takes place in the present, but in the future, some may take place in the 80s as Ryan and Min-Gi were.
Unless stated otherwise, none of the fics in this series are connected.

Summary
Min-Gi and Ryan thought they'd make it big after leaving home to hit the road. After a few good years a sudden outing leaves them blacklisted and eventually homeless, the two soon unofficially adopting teenage runaway Grace and surviving as a family on the streets of Tokyo. One Christmas Eve they stumble upon an abandoned newborn baby and with only a few clues to her identity its up to them to search for her parents and learn new things about themselves along the way.
