Sometimes she almost missed New York, you never had to do much guessing about the weather. It followed a nice, neat predictable pattern that ticked all the boxes in her mind. Kate liked to soothe herself by predicting the week and watching as day by day it happened, and she was thoroughly prepared. Oklahoma though, had decided it hated her guts and wanted her to suffer.
