Tony had checked ‘no’ and had clicked the end of the pen, satisfied by a job well done. A quiet voice at the back of his mind, the voice of his mother, had caused him to scribble over ‘no’ until the bottom of the page was almost entirely consumed by ink.     Summary

    Put on a “break” by Bruce so Tim stays out of the way while the Wayne’s get things sorted with Jason’s return, Tim finds that without Robin life generally sucks. Jack and Dana are fighting, his dad’s drinking… Tim’s still dealing with trauma from being attacked at Titan’s Tower…

    But then a classmate, Bernard, makes things kind of not suck, and then Bernard admits to him that he might have feelings for Tim. As in, more than just friendship feelings, and Tim.exe stops working for a bit because he had never thought of that before. But, now that he is, Tim can see it, too. But he’s never - he doesn’t - He’s not sure what this means.

    Things come to an explosive head when he comes home, finding his dad waiting up for him, drunk and angry because someone had called him about seeing Tim and Bernard holding hands.
