Summary
Smitty was just a young teenager when he was kicked out by his family, thrown to the streets because he was the ‘runt’—he wasn’t as ‘fit’ to be a part of the gang life. To prove them wrong, he sets himself to committing small crimes until he can manage to start himself a gang, when he meets John. John, despite having lived a decent life and never experiencing living a life on the run like Smitty had grown up into, decided to go along with him for the ride. Maybe one day, he’ll get to learn Seven’s real name.

Droid nodded to them, scanning his surroundings before he finally met Pezzy’s awaiting eyes.
He waved, a grin on his face as he came forward.
He left the bag full of gifts down by the Christmas tree that Yumi had helped Matt and John set up earlier while setting the pack of beer down onto the coffee table for later use.
Pezzy perked up, a giddy expression now present on his face at the sight of his other half.
Droid bent down, capturing Pezzy in a hug to fully greet him.
Smitty smirked, standing up and walking away from the two to leave them alone for now.

In the middle of the hallway, Smitty began brushing the snowflakes from John's hair before they could begin to melt and dampen his curls. He'd left his cap in the car, and between pulling into the driveway and the front door, a large quantity of snow had gathered on his head. Smitty was wearing his beanie, so his hair would be mostly dry, apart from the few strands of hair that stuck out from underneath.
