ft. Jo, avid Teddy/Amy shipper who doesn’t understand why her sister can’t just give Fred the old heave-ho, some eventual Jo/Friedrich, and spoiled! insouciant!Laurie (at first). Beth doesn’t die (mostly because I wanted an excuse to write worried Beth/headstrong Amy), and I tried to give her a little of Elizabeth Alcott’s personality, so she’s slightly out of character.

But he gets more than he bargained for... His daughter, who had been sent North for her own protection years before, is chosen to be the sacrificial lamb in their peace treaty. She will marry the son of the younger prince, never to see the throne but always to live at court. Her marriage will solidify a union between North and South, Water and Fire.Until Ozai decides he's had enough of his brother's peaceful ways and stages a coup.
