Shortly after he returned to patrolling the streets, startling tremors began. Cracks sprouted, tearing through the ground, while tectonic plates shifted. Bruce immediately put the batcave on lockdown, reaching out and swiftly pulling all the vigilantes back in— almost all.

It wasn’t getting any better out in Gotham, in fact worse. In the distance it looked like a vibrant sand storm had formed, except there was no sand— just dirt, debris, and the occasional lighting. The erratic electricity pulsed through it, illuminated whatever was unfortunate enough to get tangled in there.
Damian swerved through what was left of the roads, using everything he had, though evidently he knew it wasn’t gonna be enough. It was enveloping Gotham in milliseconds, maybe even the whole world— but he sure as hell wasn't gonna be a part of it.

It was day 2 of the invincible war, mark and eve were up against two variants. after omni heavily injured Eve they were surrounded by reanimen. Omni clawed his way out of there not staying for his pride, but the idiot didn't get the memo. Shiesty was unconcious and he reluctently decided to save him.
it was only for the success of the mission that he had saved him. but it was more than their ties with angstrom that they stuck together.
Summary: slow burn of they are gay and don’t know it. Idk how to summarize.

Wally never expected to come back to Happy Harbor. Not after his near drowning in the sea caves by his childhood home — which inevitably led to his parents’ divorce. But here he was twelve years later, fresh out of grad -school and moving back into his late father’s old house.
A summer spent in the sleepy town he grew up in on the Rhode Island coast should have been idyllic. A quiet three months working in his uncle’s aquarium as he figured out what the hell he wanted to do with his life. But, it turns out, finding a siren tangled in a fishing net at the bottom of the bay would only be the beginning of his troubles.
What happened to the poor Nereid who now haunted Wally’s thoughts? Why couldn’t he shake the feeling that their fates were more tangled than the net he’d cut away from its beautiful tail? And who was the so-called expert called in by the counties Game-Warden to investigate the new predator making waves in the Rhode Island Sound?
The further Wally dug, the deeper the mystery took him — and someone had swim to the bottom of it.

He flicks a bit of water into Kon’s face and puffs out his chest as he exclaims, “What— ew, no! I’m not going to eat you, for Triton’s sake— where in the seven seas did you get that idea?”
Pirates of the Caribbean, Kon thinks, but is smart enough to keep his mouth shut this time. Well, almost, anyway, because what comes out instead is, “Oi, no need to sound so freakin’ offended— I bet I taste delicious!”
