Something changed in the air when the door opened. Almost irritating, annoyingly gnawing at his brain to look up and face whatever sad loser was in the building with him.
When he did, he understood the irritation in the air immediately.
There were only a handful of people in the world who could throw off his equilibrium without saying a word, and Harry has always been one of them. It didn’t make any logical sense, not after this long, over a decade of no contact and a very clear decision to leave things where they had been left, but Louis had never been able to logic his way through this particular ghost.

Summary
Prompt: 253: Louis is a divorced man, preferably with a male ex-partner and maybe a child, but it's up to the author. He's in his early 30s and feels he has failed at life because of his divorce. He tried really hard to be a good husband and now he feels he was not enough and he's not made for marriage. He's not ready for a serious relationship, so a fling with younger Harry (perhaps still in his 20s) seems like exactly what he needs. The problem is, even if Harry is younger, he's looking for something serious and he's ready to show Louis how serious this is. Louis heals little by little. If the author decides to give Louis a child, then Harry bonds with them. If the author is amenable to mpreg, perhaps Louis gets pregnant by Harry and is surprised by how happy the other man is, how involved, and how much of a supportive partner he proves to be despite his age.

Summary
When Harry transferred to the University of Mestonwood, he hoped that he'd finally fit in. As a witch, he's much less likely to feel isolated on an entirely supernatural campus, right?
Wrong. Thanks to the cold-shoulder efforts of Louis Tomlinson, president of the vampire Coven, Harry still feels the sting of rejection from the most gorgeous boy on campus. It's doubly frustrating that everyone else, even Harry's only close friend, Niall, seems to think Louis is a great guy.

And fuck, there’s a fire that ignites inside Louis when Harry speaks to him like this, almost as though he’s talking down to him, bitchy and uncaring. Louis doesn’t know whether he’s feeling a need to regain control of the situation or a want to stoke the fire even more until it consumes him entirely.

“Fuck off,” Harry retorted, finally leaning up off the hood of his car. He looked around the parking lot, which was full of cars, but free of any other people. “Can I have a ride?”
“To your wedding?” Louis teased just to see Harry roll his eyes.
“Away from my wedding.”
It's the summer of '99 and, after helping Harry run away from his wedding, Louis has one week on a secluded Maine island to get the second chance he's always wanted.
