Summary
Clark tried desperately to hold on to the voices and faces of the people who had loved him: his Moms, his Dads, his friends, Lana, until the energy beam that had been suspending him in the air slowly lowered him down to his knees on the cold ice floor. The last remnants of Clark Kent, his deepest, most humanistic desires whispered in his mind. Maybe this was the best for the world. This way, nothing would ever be his fault anymore, he would never have to feel the guilt of losing...
Losing? Losing what? What had he lost? What was he losing?
He was a slate wiped clean. He had no name; he had no destiny; he had no other reason to feel. There was only one face left in his mind: Lex Luthor. A simple command remained: "Obey"
Clark Kent, Kal-El, was no more.

Peter’s fine, ok? The library in Queens is surprisingly a lot warmer than the one in Nashville, and bonus (!) stays open most of the night. He’s got a job at the docks (he might have hedged a *little* about his age) and La Guardia is only a few miles away. With any luck, he’ll have that ticket to Italy in two months—if he can just quit spending so much on food.
And here’s the thing. He’s not going to be in New York long. After all, he never knew Uncle Obie to break a promise and he's pretty sure that persists even in death. Or 10 years of being missing. But as long as he keeps his head down, They’ll be safe. After all, he’s totally fine!
Now only if that nice couple down the street would stop trying to feed him…

Summary
An asteroid is on a collision course with Earth that is bigger than the one that caused the extinction of the dinosaurs. Superman manages to break it apart, but at a cost. He crashlands in a strange land with no memory of who he is or how he got there.
The chunk of rock is still orbiting Earth, the paper has taken to calling it 'Nightfall.' Both Clark Kent and Superman are missing. Lois Lane is worried for Superman's safety after she unearths the truth about Nightfall, fearing he might be dead. She works tiredly to find him, but with each second that ticks by she loses hope.
With the Metropolis Wonder missing, and presumed dead, who will save Earth?
