Summary
Yuichiro is the older brother, therefore, he has some rules set. He didn’t think like that back then, when the ground close by their home didn’t have stones in patterns and ginkgo leaves and the reminder of what they lost, but after losing so much in a single day he’s learnt to not question what his mother told him a week before she died.

Perhaps it was the rain, the weather forecast had called it the worst storm in decades—at least one to hit Gotham, which already did have pretty bad thunderstorms. The first droplets fell at 7 am, as if they were the warning of something way, way bigger coming.
Perhaps it was that spider that Dick had seen in his bathroom and that scurried below the sink after he screamed to the top of his lungs, seeing him with its thousand all-seeing eyes, hairy legs crawling in between all the cracks full of mold that he had promised himself to clean as soon as he could.
Or maybe it was the call. It was definitely the call.
