Alex has the unfathomable urge to deny it—to brush it off, to roll his eyes at his mind spinning and conjuring ghosts of old insecurities, whispering half-truths wrapped in cruel precision. He wants to outrun them, to push forward before they sink their claws into the edges of his mind, twisting, distorting—vilifying his worth with sharp, unrelenting teeth.
But it’s Henry.
Henry—the only one who can read him like an open book; a book that’s dog-eared and worn, its spine cracked from being held too tightly, its edges fraying. Yet Henry has never been the one to turn away, never sets him aside.
Alex buries his face in the crook of Henry’s neck, letting the warmth of him seep into his skin, grounding him in something steady, something certain. His breath fans against Henry’s throat. “Do you ever feel like you don’t fit?” Alex asks.

David sighs with the kind of contentment Henry hasn’t seen from the dog in days, and the sound is soft and blissful and it fucking grates on Henry’s nerves. His jaw clenches, teeth grinding as he watches the scene unfold. It’s absurd, ridiculous even, but Henry can’t stop the flare of jealousy rising in his chest.
Of course David would choose Alex—of course he would—because apparently, everyone does.
And well.
Something prickles under Henry’s skin, a feeling that claws at his composure. Jealousy? He shakes the thought away, vehemently denying it.
He isn’t jealous of his dog.
(He is.)
David loves Alex more. Henry finds out why aka David being a menace aka canon scenes sprinkled with more David interactions.

When TK left New York in the wake of everything, he cut all ties completely and never looked back. 3 years later while in New York to visit Jonah and Enzo, TK and Carlos run into some of TK’s old crew members from 252. Given everything, he’s not exactly expecting to be received with open arms. But it’s time for the prodigal son to face the music and with Carlos by his side, he knows there’s nothing he can’t do.
He only hopes they can find it in themselves to give him the one thing he knows he doesn't deserve: forgiveness.
