Summary
As a kid, Dean’s dreams were pretty straightforward: food, a roof over his head, and maybe – if he really let himself dream big – a family that wouldn’t kick him out the second he became more trouble than he was worth. College? Not on his radar. Suddenly he’s here, though – on a football scholarship and faced with the possibility that this time he might get to stay.
For someone more well-adjusted it would be a dream come true. For Dean it’s a nightmare of desperately keeping up appearances while he’s drowning in other people’s expectations.
At least until a game of Truth or Dare sends him face-first into the arms of Castiel Novak. Senior. Resident (ex-)drug dealer. Obnoxious literature major. Heavily tattooed and everything Dean is trying to leave behind.
Dean needs a favor and Castiel is all too willing to deliver. Unfortunately the offer comes with strings attached that go well beyond the fake relationship that Castiel asks for in return.

Summary
Dean Winchester is many things — a nurse, an in-charge on the medical-surgical floor, and a big fan of the ladies. What he’s not is a commitment kind of guy, and he’s definitely not a night duty kind of guy. Things change when a hook-up-gone-wrong gets him lumped on night duty for an entire month, and to make matters worse, he’s been lumped on night duty with a brand new intern. As with all interns, Doctor Castiel Novak is cocky at best and dangerous at worst, but for some reason, and maybe it’s just the way his ass looks in those teal scrubs, Dean’s got a soft spot for the guy. Or a really hard one. Either way, it doesn’t take long for Dean’s new roster to become the least of his concerns; he wants that dorky doctor guy, and fuck, he wants him for real.

Summary
It was under canon fire and the smoke of gunpowder that Dean and Cas first met while serving in the Union Army during the American Civil War. After surviving harrowing battles together, they were ripped apart by an unfair court-martial. It’s now 1871 and Dean hasn’t heard from Cas in 6 years, when an unexpected letter arrives. Cas is alive and well and has just taken the job of Marshal in the newly established town of Perdition, Kansas, on the lawless western frontier. He invites Dean to be his deputy.
Anxious to see Cas again, Dean, with his brother Sam, leaves behind farm life in Lawrence to be a lawman in the Wild West. Expecting to see the upstanding Army Captain he once loved, Dean is shocked and heartbroken when he finds Cas a former gunslinger who spends his time in the arms of Meg, a prostitute at Ellen’s brothel.
The three lawmen face a ruthless gang of outlaws, led by Lucifer, who has deep connections to Sam’s troubled past and a vendetta against him that puts them all in danger.

Summary
Dean is fine. The way he sees it, things are simple. He had a house and a family and food in his stomach, and now he doesn't. And yeah, that's a downer, but he's not going to let that stop him from being fine, because he's in control of the situation. He definitely doesn't need anyone to save him. And it's not like the weird guy with the nice butt from down the road is the knight-in-shining-armor type, anyway.
