    Within the Castle of Lions, something is definitely amiss.

    No matter how much they try, the healing pods won't work. Not even after Coran restarts the whole system, not when Pidge snoops for potential coding errors and not when Lance decides to just hit one of the capsules thinking it would fix it like you would an old television.
    So seeing as even Lance's unconventional methods yield no results, they move on with their jobs as the protectors of the universe.

    Of course, Voltron's mission must continue, but what happens when the very lifeline that has upheld them falters?

    Or: Keith gets injured in a space battle and doesn't think it's important enough to tell anyone. While the castle's infirmary systems have been sabotaged, he gets worse and has to decide if he can accept the compassion others are giving him.
