Yeonjun drew back enough to look down at him and catch the first tear with the pad of his thumb as Taehyun squeezed his eyes shut. His chest jumped with the first sob and then he went mostly still, a small rain shower beginning to slide down his cheeks.
“You never look at me when you cry…”
Yeonjun whispered the words against the delicate skin between his eyebrows as his eyes remained screwed shut. Taehyun melted further against the solid body holding him steady in the waves. His forehead warmed as Yeonjun pressed his cheek against it, letting him cry in the perfect shadow of his silhouette. -

Soobin tilted his head, features highlighted by the soft blue lighting. Yeonjun wanted to believe he wasn’t a threat. Wanted to believe he wouldn’t hurt him.

Yeonjun nodded. He wasn’t sure but that’s why he needed to do it. Because he was scared, and he would never get over his fear by running away. He had done enough running.

Yeonjun realizes his path to personal destruction has four unexpected victims. As the safety of his crew is compromised and they are crippled from the inside, Yeonjun must confront his own demons.
