Summary
There are still some days where one of them can’t get out of bed, but more recently there are also some days where Steve can’t get in it. And that’s how he got back to one of their childhood habits: the one where Bucky takes the bed while Steve takes the floor. It might be a fond memory, but the circumstances and reasoning behind the habit have changed. Steve shouldn’t have to sleep on the floor anymore. Their bed is big, bigger than it needs to be for two six foot super soldiers, and regardless- that’s what it is. Their bed, the one they share.
(alternatively: steve sleeps on the floor. bucky tries to fix it)
