    “Okay, whoa, hold on—we are not equipped to handle this,” Flash says, starting to sweat. “We barely have enough bandaids to cover kids scraping their knees on the playground. We don’t do brain injuries or-or-or—K-holes. We need to call an ambulance.”

    “Ohh, you’re the doctor,” Spider-Man mumbles, leaning heavily on Andi and peering at Flash like he’s really seeing him for the first time. “Ha, how funny.”

    “He’s a nurse,” Andi corrects, grunting under his deadweight.

    “Well, helloooooooooo, nurse,” Spider-Man says, attempting to wolf-whistle and only managing to blow a froth of bloody spit bubbles through the fabric of his mask.

    “Oh, he’s going to be fun,” Andi says, aiming a dark grin at Flash.


    In which Flash comes home looking for a fresh start and a little normalcy, but the vigilantes of NYC have other plans for him.
