Summary
Dean’s a Sentinel who is perfectly fine not having a Guide, no matter what Sam says. But when he meets Sam’s friend Castiel, he discovers not only a compatible Guide but a friend he’s desperate to keep.
Dean needs to make it through his Ph.D. in one piece, and that means keeping a lid on his Sentinel abilities that threaten to run wild unless he keeps them under control. Dean’s methods of control are dubious at best, but Castiel is compelled to use his own skills as a Guide to help Dean deal with his abilities, even if Dean doesn’t think he deserves the help.

Dean is being chased by fires. Everywhere they live, there's a fire, and it's always connected to him. Dean does what he has to provide for his family, and John keeps them on the move. But when Sam goes away to Stanford, Dean's left alone to run from the fires in the van he's outfitted to live in. It's only when he stops running and goes to college in San Francisco that he finds what he needs. And what he needs is the support of a dorky TA named Castiel, who gives him a reason to stay put. What happens when the fire catches up?

Summary
Back when Yuuri was in school, they were required to write five-year plans, drafting out their lives for the next half-decade. He usually just scribbled down something about ice skating and called it a day. Russia was not a part of those plans; then again, neither was Yuri, stretching out his hand, leading Yuuri to a new life he thought was beyond his reach, but that he wouldn't give up for anything else.
And the living legend? Still there, still too infatuated to do much.
Or: Yuuri moves to Russia. It goes about as well as he had hoped, and then some.

Summary
Arthur gave Merlin his cloak thinking only of the warmth it would offer in a snowstorm. He never thought his manservant may be mistaken for him and snatched by bandits. Nor did he expect his dashing rescue of Merlin to turn his world so utterly on his head.
