This: Gerard on top of G, one hand buried in their synthetic hair, the other gripping tightly at their hips where the flesh is so soft and a little clammy all the time like they have been sweating, pumping into them at a relentless pace.

Gerard is standing in the middle of the room, hip cocked to the side and one hand on it. He is wearing his pajamas, stupid tiny shorts with a long sleeve, summer on the bottom and winter on the top. His white hair is still a little wet from the shower, some drops of water sliding down his neck and dampening the collar of his shirt.
He isn't smiling, and his eyes look huge with the way the shadows are cast from the harsh overhead light. Ray watches as he lifts up one finger, curling it in the air and beckoning Ray over.

Gerard was doing a dramatic reading of the hotel brochure this morning in their room, trying to wake himself up and make Frank laugh hard enough to forget the pain in his joints, when he came across the words spacious rooftop deck and Ray's eyebrows flickered. Just a quick jump up and then down again, his fingers never faltering as he patiently wound a replacement string around one of Pansy's tuners, but it was all Gerard needed. Vulcans would be jealous of the mind-meld they've got going at this point, after so many years of Ray teasing out Gerard's jumbled thoughts and melodies and putting them into order, dangling them like jewels from a chain of undeniable riffs. The two of them don't need anything as pedestrian as texts.
