Enjoy a fun, exasperated, and carefree Hermione and a somber, superstitious, and very observant Draco... This story is a "lighthearted" adventure with very serious themes as it takes several dark & sad twists.

No two days are the same, and although admittedly not the career path she saw herself on as a youngster, she loves her job as an Auror - and despite what some of her colleagues say, her life certainly does not revolve around work thank you very much.
That is, until a particular monster from the past rears her head, and she's forced to work with a prisoner she'd rather forget.
