The smaller cookie sighs, worry clear in his expression. “It might be difficult, but…at this point? What can’t we take?” A mimic of a chuckle slips from Crunchy Chip’s lips. “I want to give us a chance, and I want to give it everything I’ve got. All I ask is that- you do the same for me, too?”
And- for a moment, it suddenly feels like Wildberry’s fears had been silenced. For a moment, as he stared down at Crunchy Chip- looking back up at him like he was the most remarkable Cookie he’d ever laid eyes on- he felt no fear.
All he could feel was love.

"Huh?"
"Of which star I came from. I don't know."
"Oh." Sonic hums. He wasn't being entirely serious, but he guesses Shadow did come from a weird meteorite in the sky.
A pause, and then-
"Maybe it was the same star you came from." Shadow mutters, glancing over at the cobalt hedgehog.
Sonic thinks he feels his face warm up.
or, sonic and shadow are new to love. its kinda awkward to navigate when no one knows what theyre doing, but they make it work.

Summary
The song doesn't last much longer, but it finishes off with a climactic solo that has Ariana raising her mic above her head in a beautifully dramatized fashion.
And, of course, the crowd loved it. They scream their love to Ariana and Nova, throwing flowers and little notes for each of the wonderful stars.
The two smile and wave at the audience, blowing kisses and making hearts with their fingers before disappearing once again backstage.
Scar blinks himself out of whatever daze he had fallen into.
He thinks he needs to find Ariana before he leaves tonight.
Or, Scar gets dragged into watching Ariana Griande perform, and he is smitten.

Summary
Jimmy isn't entirely sure what he's doing out here. The apocalypse has never really been for him, to be fair, but he's doing his best.
He's not alone out here though, which helps. He just hopes things don't go terribly wrong for him like they always do.
