All the shit in the tags probably won’t appear for a while; this is an idea I’ve been playing around with for years but hopefully posting the first chapter will give me more of an incentive to commit.
Mac and Dennis Move To The Suburbs has gotta be the greatest episode of any sitcom ever, but there is only so much one can do with 20 minutes of screen time, and so much fucking happens. While most of the gags are there for outrageous comedic effect, my mind can’t help but go “there was a time off screen where Mac was frying a house pet.” It’s so fucked up, and I wanted to explore the entire thing; go absolutely wild with it. What if they were there for a year? How long was Mac spying on Dennis for, and how did he do it? Did the rest of the gang catch on? How long do they spiral for before they crack? What’s the tipping point? And can we please talk about how we don’t see Mac eat a single bite of the Mac and Cheese, please? I’m dying to talk about how we don’t see Mac eat a single bite of the Mac and Cheese. The whole thing is fucked and I wanna go nuts with it so enjoy. Also it starts off cute and is gonna stay cute for a while.
