Summary
Akechi takes the cigarette out of his mouth, exhaling smoke. It burns the back of his throat, in a way that he can’t quite describe as pleasurable, but it leans enough in that direction for him to do it again. “Smoking kills, Kurusu.” He says, smiling in some strange combination of the smile he uses for TV, and the smirks he’d wear when he knows he’s alone. “You’d think the great leader of the Phantom Thieves would care about his health more.”
Kurusu barks a laugh, and something is off about it, the way it sounds bitter and contemptuous. “Yeah,” He replies, taking a drag. “You would.”
That’s… a loaded statement.

Summary
Every encounter Akira has with Akechi feels unnaturally calculated, like Akechi has him bound in an intricate dance to which he doesn’t know the steps. Akira is good at improvising, though, and if Akechi wants to keep an eye on Akira, well… two can play at that game.
There’s a danger, though, in spending too much time watching someone.

Summary
Goro Akechi had no interest in ever taking on the position of student council president at Shujin High, but since Makoto Niijima wanted to be student council president from the bottom and the goodness of her heart, he wanted to take that away from her. Until recently, he was spending most of his afternoons in the student council room, dealing with the boring and mundane complaints of his fellow students.
Ever since the principal took in a kid on probation because it’d boost the school’s reputation, complaints kept flying in. Apparently he was bottom of the barrel, absolute scum. Threatens people, gets into fights, harrasses girls, bullies students, he’s even a murderer… Goro’s aware of the fog of rumors that this mystery transfer student is enveloped by.
Of course not all of it was true, he thought. Or was it?

Akira tossed and turned on his makeshift bed above Leblanc, struggling to relax enough for sleep to come. Not because he was uncomfortable—he had long since become accustomed to the feeling of milk crates beneath his flimsy mattress. No, the cause of his current distress was a bit more… personal.

Basically, Akira has been thirsting over Akechi all night and, now that the Detective Prince is asleep, Akira can't help but take advantage of the situation (and the appetizing bulge he's been eyeing in those flattering gray sweatpants). He's embarrassed, but not embarrassed enough to stop, not until he gets what he so desperately needs.
