“Do you know how scared I was?”
She asks frostily, “Why?”
She watches as her husband registers her voice for the first time. It’s obvious that it catches him off guard for he remains rooted on the spot. His eyes scans her lips, as if in disbelief that a word has actually come out of her mouth.
Or: On a starry night, Hong Hee-joo's secret comes out. Baek Sa-eon confronts her.

Summary
He unlocks his phone and upon opening the chat, his heart stops.
Hee-joo has sent him an emoticon. Not just any emoticon but a heart eyes one. He thinks he is hallucinating. Yes. That must be it. He takes off his glasses to see better — maybe instead of clearing his vision, it made him see things that didn’t exist. Lo and behold, the emoji is still here. Baffled, he stares at it unblinkingly until a string of the heart eyes emoji comes out of his phone and circles around his head. He is definitely having delirious imaginations now.
Or: Hee-joo reboots Sa-eon's brain by (accidentally) sending him a heart eyes emoji.

Summary
“Why are you still up?” He says while taking off his blazer and hanging it up on the coat rack.
When she doesn’t reply, Sa-eon sighs. He doesn’t want to argue with her right now. They both are tired. “Go to sleep,” he states softly.
He is only able to take one step forward before Hee-joo stops him by holding his wrist. He turns around questioningly. Still no response.
Hee-joo leads him to the green sofa in their living room with surprising strength. Sa-eon has no option but to follow her. He wouldn’t normally allow this much physical contact with her but his self restraint has run its course. Besides, it’s late and he’s tired. He can allow himself to enjoy the luxury of holding hands with Hee-joo for a few seconds. He realises that he’s become weak lately.
Or: Hee-joo treats Sa-eon's wound after the party.
