Summary
Hornet tied the final string in her trap. Food was still scarce, even after the Infection and the Radiance had been consumed by the little ghost. Therefore, she still hunted daily, scrounging around wherever she could for rations.
Currently, she was at Kingdom’s Edge trying to see if she could catch a morsel or two. She remembered that the little ghost had been here several times. She had witnessed them fight what appeared to be a moth, gaining some sort of essence that reeked of dream energy. Hornet decided to go to the moth’s resting place, to see if she could learn more about this essence. She had spare time anyway. As she approached the moth’s corpse, she noticed something peculiar.
They were breathing.

Summary
ALSO KNOWN AS: Bugs die, but I say no.
This explores what a post-Embrace the Void ending would look like, with Ghost's control over void at their disposal. They can revive bugs that dies eons ago, and so, they've been doing exactly that! Well, mostly. Recently, Ghost's been having problems with the void, the caustic liquid sometimes obstructing their will entirely. Something, or someone, is gathering power.
And soon, it'll reach a breaking point.
