He, alongside the other S-ranks, had been added to a group chat. A so-called, emergency measure, for the end of the world he was talking about. Jinwoo had tried to explain to the Chairman how, maybe, just maybe, this was a bad idea but he had gotten ignored. With a tick in his brow and a smile, he deleted the whole group chat from his phone. And Chishiya’s about to scold him because that’s idiotic to leave an open drink unattended but he doesn’t get the chance because Niragi’s crowding into his space with dark eyes. “ Pretty thing, you have no idea how much attention you’ve been attracting even right now, do you? “
Chishiya gives a doubtful stare towards Niragi. “ If I have, it’s because I look ridiculous dressed like a cat. “ Which is all Kuina's fault.
Niragi stares at him like he’s stupid and it makes Chishiya want to bristle defensively.

Niragi sighed as he watched his phone ring and ring and ring. He figured if he let it go to voicemail on its own time, he could pretend that he was away from his phone and didn’t notice the call coming in.
“Why are you ignoring your mother?” Chishiya asked. Of course that bastard had noticed.
“I’m not ignoring her,” he pouted. With the way Chishiya was lounging against his chest he couldn’t see his face, but he just knew one of his eyebrows had quirked up in his patented look of disbelief. He sighed. There was no hiding anything from him. “It’s my dad’s birthday next week and she’s probably calling to ask if I’m coming to family dinner.”
“Are you?”
“Not if I can avoid it,” Niragi grumbled. “It’ll be a bunch of bullshit about how I’m unmarried in my thirties and it’s all my fault. They’ll list out all the fucked-up decisions I’ve made in my life that have ruined all my chances of being happy and successful or whatever and I really don’t need to hear that shit.”
The phone rang again.
He was ready to throw the stupid thing across the room but Chishiya was faster. He plucked the phone out of Niragi’s hands and accepted the call in one smooth motion.
