Read - modern AU. ABO. Interesting premise. You can tell the author kept writing to fill in the history and future fluff. Rey worked for a syndicate that Ben was paid as a mercenary to bust. He knew she was his mate as soon as he met her in a stand off encounter. He kills the boss and takes down the organization. They mate. He has to hide her in one of his many safe houses around the world. One time he gets imprisoned for a months and doesn’t come back to her. He senses her heat and breaks out of jail to be there for her. One day it’s finally safe for them to start a family. They live in Scotland with their kids. One day they are discovered and attacked. The move to New Zealand. Their oldest also learns to defend the family.

Already read - canon AU post TLJ. This one was recommended and did not disappoint. Definitely on the read again list. Really loved the characters and how Kylo became Ben again. His love for Rey is so strong.
Two years after Crait with the bond closed, they fight again on a snowy planet for the first time again. Right before Kylo slashes Rey in the stomach, they both see a child who is a vision of their future children. Rey escapes with her life, but loses her womb. When Leia dies, the bond opened and Rey connects with Ben for the first time in years. He shows her that Ben is still there. The Resistance is about to stage an attack and Poe wants Rey to stay back with Chewie. She stumbles upon coordinates thru C3PO and decides to go. It is to Mustafar and Kylo just happened to be there as well. They travel in caves together as the force sends them scene from Anakin and Padme’s story to understand. They grow close to each other and finally smut. The Resistance comes to rescue Rey and Kylo let’s her to. A few days after she goes back she connects with Kylo to see him in a battle inside the FO. It’s a coup. She sees Kylo hurt and thru the bond she fights for him and helps him escape. She tells the Resistance and they stage an attack, which really becomes a rescue mission since the FO was torn apart. In the final show down Ben tries to save Rey’s friends from a firing squad. She saves him via force healing. The war is over, but Rey is in a force coma for 8 weeks. Ben is living on the Falcon. When she wakes they are finally together. They have decisions to make on their future. They take some time, but his guilt makes him come forward to surrender and go to trial. The epilogue is extensive and details their lives and the lives of their kids, their friends/families kids, and until they are grandparents. This story is epic and so many great plot points.
