Summary
He already has to wait so he might as well do something productive for his body while he’s at it. AKA get food. God, he needs to eat. He’s going insane. So, he just walks into the closest open food shop that looks halfway decent - there aren’t many open and there are even less that look worth going into. However, he’s desperate at this point and he might perish on the spot if he doesn’t consume whatever food the nearest place has.
He walks into the place, the ding from the door ringing through the shop, and he immediately feels poorer, he feels like the simple action of breathing in the air from this pitiful shop has cost him money even though he hasn’t even bought a damn thing. It’s like simply being inside the four walls of this place is making him worth less money.
Ugh, gross.

Summary
The Dragon's Gate, a legendary portal located on Dread Isle, is said to be the connection between worlds, traversable only by dragonkind. Such a portal has been a terrifying source of power for those with nefarious intentions, like the dark mage Nergal over twenty years ago.
However, when the scars of the Scouring still have yet to completely fade, and a world beyond Elibe is threatened by the consequences, the Dragon's Gate also offers incredible and unforeseen possibilities.
Such is the case for two young men, whose paths were never destined to cross. Finding partnership in one another, with both of their worlds on the line, they will prove that the course of history is never set in stone- and that even the oldest and deepest of wounds can still be healed.
