“So, a bony, sickly twig with bad hair?” She was at his side by then, showing him a rapid slideshow of humans of indeterminate genders dressed in hideous clothes, gaunt and pale with empty eyes, and he had to admit that a fair deal of them did look quite a bit like him. “You’d be a natural.”

The clatter of the bowl on the counter jarred Will into the moment. His breath felt tight in his chest as he surveyed the ingredients laid out before him: sugar, cocoa powder, milk, butter, slabs of chocolate, and flour (Hannibal’s preferred brand – he was very particular and had been verklempt last month when the store had run out), all measured into separate bowls. Hannibal, as he had said, liked to have a picture what he was working with. At the sight of it all, and the last remaining empty bowl, Will was struck by how perverse the quotidian nature of the scene was – how readily and merrily Hannibal had matched Will’s impulsive challenge.

Yuuji flinches back. “Satoru, I’d never hurt you.”
“I do want to believe you.” It comes out as something of a confession, too quiet for comfort, but the hopeful eyes Yuuji turns on him kill any regret before Satoru can feel it. “You’re a good man, Yuuji. But you’ve got a secret basement with a naked man tied up inside, and something tells me he’s not here willingly.” Satoru cocks his head. “Is he?”
“…Not exactly.”
“So you’ve kidnapped a man.”
“No!” Yuuji says immediately. “I wouldn’t—that’s my brother.”
“Your brother,” Satoru echoes, not particularly surprised. The pink hair was a bit of a clue. “Alright, you’re keeping your brother tied to a bed in your secret basement. Naked.”
When Satoru stumbles upon a hidden basement in his boyfriend’s house, he finds a captive man bearing a striking resemblance to said boyfriend.
Or: In every world, Yuuji is Sukuna’s cage and keeper both.

Not hurting Elrond, not taking the box, not moving at all, so he kept talking because if these weren’t enough - “I know where Nurse’s are too,” he blurted out. She had lots and lots of them, pretty chains of beads and sea glass that glinted in the light. He wasn’t supposed to take them without asking, but this was for Elrond; she would understand, and if she didn’t, she could stick him in his room for as long as she liked, but he needed them, and - and they had wanted the jewel, wanted the stone, and, “And I have a rock collection, you can have that too,” and he couldn’t think of anything else, he couldn’t, but there had to be something, there had to because all of that together wasn’t worth Elrond; there wasn’t anything in the world that was worth as much as Elrond.
They still weren’t moving.
