Summary
Himmel excels at heroics—daring rescues, spectacular victories, and, perhaps most of all, putting his own feelings aside. At the close of a ten-year journey, resignation is the rule of his life, and he'll wait.
Problem is, finding an orphaned young elf was not in the cards when he made that plan, and the fact is that no one is more qualified to advise him on the matter than the woman he swore to himself he wouldn't chase.

Summary
Jayce has already decided what he's going to do. He doesn't know how he's going to do it, but these kids need someone to look after them. Someone who understands how their minds work, who can guide them towards maybe the only chance they have at a future. Perhaps this is how they start working on Viktor's dream of helping the Undercity. And if it's important to Viktor, then it is important to Jayce.
He steps forward and the motion is noticed by all the Council. Marcus scowls, but says nothing. Powder looks back over her shoulder as Jayce approaches, stands behind her, and places his hands on her shoulders. She stiffens, so he keeps the contact light so she does not feel trapped.
"Viktor and I will take in Powder and Ekko," Jayce announces.

Summary
Jinx just doesn't know how to behave normally around Ekko anymore; how to stop getting so irrationally angry every time someone else tries to vie for his attention; how to get this feeling out of her system.
With a gasp, she shoots upright in her bed. Lightning strikes in the distance as, with sudden clarity, Jinx gets hit with an idea on how to fix this…Alright, so lightning didn't actually strike in the distance but Jinx has such a good idea it might as well have.
A plan concocts itself in her brain. One that’s perhaps a little insane, but hey, aren’t her best ideas always?
Or: Jinx gets annoyed (not jealous) when girls try to hit on Ekko. Her solution? Fuck the feeling away.

Only to find that she’s not alone when adorable gold eyes peered from behind a wary Jinx.She didn’t know what to make of Ekko but his words resonated deep within her. She wants to be deserving of Isha’s love. . . and maybe, down the road, his as well. She can only hope that she doesn’t jinx it.
In a whirlwind of events, Ekko and Jinx forge their own path to building something new in the wasteland they call home.
