“So,” Althea said, turning her head towards Logan, “When did you and dumbass have sex?”
Logan snapped his head to the side to look at her, words catching in his throat. “He. . . He told you?” Logan finally forced out, words tinted with anger. Suddenly, his guilt felt a little less heavy and he toyed briefly with the idea of going back to the apartment and stabbing Wade again for good measure.
“No, you just did,” Althea smirked, tapping on her glasses. “I may be be blind, but I’d have to be deaf and dumb also to miss the way you idiots have been acting like teenagers who fucked in the bathroom on prom night and never talked about it ever again.”
“We didn’t-”
“You can go ahead and lie to yourself all you want, but you can’t lie to me. Besides, Wade isn’t as quiet as he thinks he is when you aren’t in the apartment and he starts banging one out, makes me want to stab out my eardrums. And lately it’s been nothing but your name and a bunch of fucking details I could have gone happily to my grave without hearing.”

Logan gets back into the car and tosses the bag with the lube in it into Wade's lap, thanking god for self checkout machines, because he's pretty sure that's going to go down as the worst retail experience of his god damned life.
He adjusts his dick, which is still rock hard and bordering painful, from where he had it tucked up in his waist band.
Jesus, he hopes nobody recognized him, buying lube with a hard on, with just a ball cap and a jacket thrown over the wolverine costume.
"Ok, so the plan is, we get back to the hotel, whatever happens happens, this stuff works its way out of our system in a few hours, and we can just pretend it never happened, right?" Logan asks.
