Dean’s knuckles were white on the steering wheel. Azazel, Lilith, Lucifer, Micheal, The Cage, the whole freakin’ Apocalypse? Hadn’t happened yet. And it’s not like he could tell anyone either, he would get chucked into Bobby’s panic room faster than you could say cristo. Alright, options. Continue the search for Dad, even though the fucker doesn’t deserve to be found, and save the same people as last time. Or, let little things slip that change their course enough to get the ball rolling, stop the ball, explode the ball, and save the world. Or, third option, tell Sam what happened and pray it doesn’t all go to shit.

“Yeah, well, Cas,” Dean interrupts hostilely, “why don’t you tell me what you really are?” He hefts the cross in his arms, ignoring the sting of his shoulder as it stretches. “Any chance you’re somethin’ I can kill with a stake?”//
