Summary
In high school, Chuuya and Dazai live in constant tension : part rivals, part reluctant friends. Surrounded by their chaotic group of classmates, their daily life is filled with arguments, banter, and something deeper they both refuse to name.
But everything shifts when Chuuya learns that his family is moving far away. Unable to accept being torn apart from the one person who somehow makes sense in his life, Chuuya starts to fall apart.

“What the—“ Chuuya groaned, wiping his nose as he took a step back.
A quiet meow came out of a tiny box to the right of them. Dazai quickly strolled over the source of the sound. The boy kneels down and opens up the tiny box.
It was a tiny, frail black kitten on top of a blue fluffy blanket.
