Jimin squinted. There were flickers around the periphery of his vision, but he couldn’t make out the shape of the yokai he was sure were present. They felt powerful, and must be doubly so to cloak their forms from a trained onmyouji. Should he warn Jungkook to be careful?
Then he remembered the essence that had clung to Jungkook. Could Jungkook truly be haunted? Maybe that’s why he didn’t like their conversation, because deep down he knew what was happening. Jimin felt his fists ball up - it was the Park clan duty to stop things like this.

Kim Namjoon (klutz, genius, poet, private investigator) solves cases for the unusual and secretive clientele of Monster Private Investigator. His assistant, Jeon Jungkook (big muscles, bigger heart) helps out.
Each story revolves around Namjoon taking on the request of a different member (noted in the title), for a total of 7 cases in this collection, all from Namjoon’s POV. Members also appear in chapters that are not focused on them. All works can stand alone, but I suggest that you read them in order to fully enjoy the characters and relationships as they grow. Enjoy!

Summary
This work was inspired by a lovely Japanese film, “Sweet Bean,” about a dorayaki (dessert pancake) vendor and an old woman who teaches him about making the anko (sweet bean paste) filling and also a bit about making the most out of life. It’s currently on Netflix, and I would highly recommend watching it!

Being an intergalactic pop star is mostly fun and games. But Jungkook is mad at Jimin (not about the hand holding, not about the accidental marriage on Planet GUTEN-b, not about the kissing, maybe, probably) and it's hard to think when Jimin keeps rambling about food.
