He gets a lot of pleasant results.---
He lays down on his stomach, legs kicking in the air behind him as he skips through some of the recordings.
Lyle was never really an audio guy. Sound could never really capture him like visuals could. There were a hundred movies he could watch on mute but he'd rather have a pack of cigarettes put out on him than have to listen to a podcast.
Eugh.But... When it came to Sam?

Hunger is a terrifying concept.
Hunger for sustenance is a topic well broached, but so uncommonly is the hunger for other things considered when discussing the simple word.
Starvation causes weakness and sufferage, so any living thing able to starve would do their best to avoid it.
Starvation of the mind is quite similar, humans are not unique in seeking stimulation, though they are unique in just how far they'll go for it. How willing the human being is to tear itself apart and lose everything for secrets of the universe.A rat may hurt itself out of bordeom.
But only a human would doom themself and all others in search of knowledge.Sam was once human.
And so he shall be again, the timer reset, now cursed with enlightenment he had so selfishly sought out.
Was it worth it?

"Wait, y-y-you said yes!?"
Despite the onlookers of Leigh and Joel- maybe Sam had been a bit too willing to share a kiss with someone, even if this specific someone wasn't human anymore.
He hardly hesitated, though tried not to sound enthusiastic.
The thought of romantic intimacy with another person... Something as small and harmless and simple as a kiss...
He had surprised even himself when he said yes.
And again, later, after returning the photo that Sam had wanted developed-"Another kiss?! P-Please?"
