The original Shen Qingqiu revives in the PIDW world 700 years after dying. During the years he had spent dead, he had been trapped in an endless dark chasm, unable to reincarnate or pass on fully and was stuck watching over Shen Yuan's life from the shadows, forced to observe as someone piloted his body for him and made love to the man he hated most: Luo Binghe. Now that he's been revived by unknown forces in his original timeline, he thinks that this is his chance to start anew and to do everything he originally wanted in his first life, including get away from Luo Bingge. However there was a slight problem with that plan: Luo Bingge was aware that he was alive and was already on his way to catch him. -

Summary
After Luo Binghe and Shen Yuan had their happy reunion on earth, Luo Bingzu's universe finally collapsed in on itself, seeking to come to an end. However as everything faded away, two lone beings remained at the center of nothingness. A lone blue blinking light: the system... and one blackened soul: Shen Jiu.
Two souls forgotten in their own story. Two catalysts for everything good and bad that unfolded within it. Knowing a part of his soul had found peace, Luo Bingzu wondered if he could help Shen Jiu find a peace of his own. So in that eerie darkness, he extended his hand forward and promised to give Shen Jiu exactly what he wanted. However, all Shen Jiu wanted was to die... and the thing Luo Bingzu gave him instead of that... was another chance at life. They end up returning to their original world, one that was in ruins. Shen Jiu gravely ill from revival and Luo Bingzu clinging to his every breath. Can things ever be mended? Can the world even be fixed? Could their bond be healed as shizun and disciple at the end of time? Or was everything too damaged to be healed?
