The rest of the soldiers give Ghost a wide berth instinctively, their prey-animal lizard brains unable to stomach sitting so close to him even when he's geared up and can't easily feed, even though they know he's impeccably collected and has never even hissed at one of them in warning. Those that have seen him in action know to be afraid, even with him on their side.
So Ghost has no qualms about gathering his tongue back into his mouth, rumbling lowly; "Shouldn't stare at me like that, Johnny."

Soap being what he is isn’t exactly a secret. Monstrum as a whole aren’t uncommon and plenty choose to join up, for the same variety of reason as humans. Hell, he’s not even the only one in the 141. It’s just facts.
Still makes it bloody fucking annoying when idiots act like they’re the first person to ever consider trying to deal with them through one of their resident monsters. Such as now, watching the chemist they were tracking down laughing like no one’s ever thought about throwing random substances in Soap’s face. Honestly, it happens like every third time they go anywhere.
“Soap, status,” He throws it over his shoulder, not bothering to look back.
“Fuckin’…got it in m’goddamn eyes…Burns, LT. Gimme a sec.”

Hannibal seizes. Hard. Hearing the tell-tale clicks of the weapon, so close to his head, echoing in the thick walls of his skull, it makes the adrenaline spike, hot and burning. He closes his eyes, swallows, opens them again to keep Will’s gaze.
