Summary
A rooftop confrontation between Hawkmoth, Ladybug and Chat Noir ends with a dramatic miscalculation; Chat's magical energy is drained, Adrien Agreste goes flying over the roof's edge instead, and only major heroics from Ladybug save him.
The hospital remains his destination, though... where Marinette and Gabriel exchange knowing looks in the waiting room. There's no making excuses or feigning ignorance this time. Inside, in private, they will have so many things to talk about while they wait for news... won't they?
Season 4, four short chapters, to be posted fairly rapidly. Absolutely no permanent life-changing injury or death therein; this is not torture porn.

Summary
Jean-Luc and Q are newly together, still feeling out the ways they fit into each other's vastly different lives. Despite it all, they have settled into a tentative sort of peace... Or peace as much as one human starship captain can hope for while dating the omnipotent master of chaos that is Q.
So when mysterious entities start to show up, impersonating Q, Jean-Luc tries his best to keep calm and put his detective skills to good use before bringing the matter up with Q.
Featuring: Vaguely cosmic horror Q, tea for two (+infinity), and, of course, a heaping helping of Picard's rather didactic inner monologue.

Summary
At Farpoint, Q had been sure, so sure, that this Jean-Luc Picard would be nothing. Humans, one of the worst of the galaxy’s species, hateful, cruel, nothing compared to the Continuum. Hubris, the imbecilic hubris of Icarus flying into the Sun, mocking it for its brightness.
In Picard’s bed, clutching his sleeping form, listening to his captain’s gentle snoring, Q wondered if the Sun seemed beautiful to Icarus. If the warmth was comforting. If the wax dripping down his arms felt like a lover’s caress. If he knew the story he was acting out and embraced it all the same.
Jean-Luc. Captain of the Enterprise. The undoing of everything. Q could feel the feathers falling from him into the ocean when he looked at him, the wax, heard the cries of Daedalus begging for him to come down, desperate, pleading. He heard the roar of the waves too, in the distance, but in the heat of the Sun, what did it matter? How could he turn away?

One simply goes left when they should go right, on through the heart of the Veil Nebula, slipping between the atoms of supernovas with impossible audacity; or they sneak beneath the layers of galaxies, unseen as dark matter, tug on the right cosmic thread.
Encounter at Farpoint, reimagined; the end is where we begin, and time is simply love's fool.

Bookmarker's Notes
“… Well this *is* interesting,” Q notes, curious little smirk curling upon his lips. “Who are you, then?”
“Jean-Luc Picard,” he tells him, simple.
Q laughs. “No no *no*,” he refutes. “There’s nebulaic resonance clinging to your skin, Captain; you wear a hundred hues of dust. Your eyes bear the weight of eons. It’s a seamless swap I must admit, but you are *not* the man I brought here.”

Summary
Someone is looking for two people who don’t want to be found, don’t want to be happy, and don’t want to do Starfleet any favors.
Annoyance flared from deep in Chakotay’s chest.
“People are dead. Don’t you give a damn, Paris?”
The helm seat swiveled and a tight finger pointed at Chakotay. “Kathryn, you need to get this guy out of here. Now.”
The door opened and the corridor receded and Chakotay was in the transporter room again. He knew he should leave gracefully, but he couldn’t help asking as he stood on the pad and she set coordinates for beam-out, “Does he give you orders often?”

Summary
Geordi, across many cultures, it is customary for lovers to exchange recorded communications while in each other’s absence.
You’re suggesting we send each other subspace video messages while I’m at the conference this week?
That is correct. Is this suggestion amenable to you?
Absolutely. I’ll take any chance I can get to see your face.
Was that meant as a flirtatious remark?
Yes, Data.
We (GaHoolianGirl and strangesaturday) decided to try and experiment with the collaboration formula- we wrote messages from the respective perspectives of Data and Geordi sending them to each other, sharing them only once they were done just like our boys would have.

Summary
Anachronism (n.): an act of attributing a custom, event, or object to a period to which it does not belong.
After the installation of the emotion chip, Data does not anticipate how the chip will affect his perception of his existing memories, and finds that he has a lifetime of emotions to catch up on. Luckily, he always has his friends to help him get started.

Summary
Geordi leaned in close to the android, his voice rough and low but steady with concern.
"Data," he murmured, fingers still gently splayed across the open cavity of Data’s chest, "do you... understand what’s happening here?"
Data’s golden eyes fluttered open, glazed with sensation but attentive, listening and trusting.
"I am... experiencing intense pleasure responses," Data said, his voice vibrating with barely contained shudders. "Originating from tactile and emotional stimulus… from your touch."

Summary
[Geordi dragged his android’s head into his lap and tried his best to swallow the asteroid-sized lump forming in his throat. If he didn’t know better… It sounded like Data was trying to convince himself of that, too.
“Data,” he asked, running his hands through the other man’s hair, “I know what you’re gonna say, but are you… scared, right now?”]
Geordi and Data find themselves trapped planetside (because time is nothing but a flat circle) and Data finds himself with an injury that requires he shut down. In theory, a simple solution to slow the degradation of his systems. In reality? It's a bit more complicated than that.

Summary
“It is as if you seek out women not based on your actual attraction to them, but on your need to establish yourself as a human male with the same needs and desires as other human males.” Geordi blinks. When Data complains about how little he understands humans, Geordi never agrees.
Data’s always been able to read him like a tricorder.
