Hi! This is as much an experiment to see how to do podfics well as it is an ode to [redacted]’s incredible AU. I've never recorded anything before so please if you hear any background noises in there ignore them for my sake

edit: at some point im going to redo the first chapter because the audio quality physically pains me. but until then, a warning to listeners: consider not listening to this with headphones on, or if you do, bear with the low volume, because I did not moderate the page break dings to be anywhere nearly as low volume as the actual sound, which means if your volume is up on high to listen your ears are gonna get blown out by the page break dings. sorry. it's not as bad in the later chapters (because someone specifically told me about it in the comments, and god bless them for it. I would have been completely unaware otherwise.)

i did a listen through myself after I posted it, and i feel like the last half sounds a bit rushed, like there isnt enough space between each sentence. Oh well, im not re-editing it.

idfk what to say. my recording set up stopped working so the majority of this chapter was just sitting in my files until I fixed it literally today. here you go. listened through it and its ok. I think you can hear the difference in quality from earlier recordings and the last 20 or so minutes that I did today. enjoy

please please please tell me whether or not you hear any sort of improvement in audio quality slash story telling please I worked hard on this also in the second half if you hear background noise that sounds like static that was rain because it was raining and I didn't want to wait until it was not-raining to finish recording ok thank you enjoy :)))

edit: I think I have solved the glitches??? I had to turn it into mp3 BEFORE saving because I didn't want to risk saving it mangling it again
