Chapter Text

Paper, red ink, and phoenix feathers. That's all Tommy needed to tell Techno, her blood god husband, that she was okay and safe. Techno was currently in war between his and Tommy's kingdom, The Arctic Empire and dream´s snotty kingdom that Tommy didn't even bother to learn the name of. The war was caused by Dream commanding Techno to give Tommy over to him without question. Of course Techno denied as soon as he heard.

Which explains why Tommy is currently in the middle of a forest hiding from Dream's royal guards aaaand lying to her husband about her safety. "THERE I SEE HER, GET HER, RUN AFTER HER, DON'T LET HER GET AWAY AGAIN!!" Ahh shit they had found Tommy. She ran as fast as her feet could take her; it was hard yet easy to run.

Why was it hard to run you may be asking well, it was because she had a red dress with beautiful gold trimmings. But the easy part about running in this dress is because the dress had a slit that was on both sides of the dress and the slit ended about high mid thigh. Tommy booked it through the woods hoping to lose the guards like she did last time. But of course it didn't work. Why would it? Tommy pulled out her enchanted netheright sword and swung at one of the guards, successfully setting him on fire and killing him.

But of course if you swing they swing back. Luckily for Tommy their swords weren't enchanted so when a guard sliced her arm open in a deep and long cut it did minimal but effective damage because the arm the guard cut open was the arm she swung with. Tommy yelped out in pain and returned her sword to her inventory.

Tommy opted to hold her heavily bleeding arm and run towards the Arctic Empire's village which Tommy knew was flooding with guards that were on high alert. Tommy screamed out in agony as the back part of her shoulders were cut. Tommy was then pinned down by one of Dream's guards. Tommy knew that the guards near the gate were alerted but before they could reach Tommy Dream's guards cut the back of her dress and cut a huge " =) " into her back. Tommy passed out from the amount of blood she had lost.

Dream's guards were run off by the royal guards, after they ran off and the guards were sure they were gone they picked up Tommy and rushed her to the castle healer. Apparently their  swords were enchanted but not in the way anyone expected, Tommy was cursed with a hex that forbid the hexed person to not be able to be healed by healing potions or a healer's magic, this was bad because Tommy's wounds were potentially fatal if not treated on the dot.

Techno was informed immediately to ensure that he wasn't left in the dark about Tommy, his wife's condition. As soon as the battle was deemed over Techno rushed back to the castle to make sure the castle people weren't lying about Tommy. "WHERE IS SHE!?" Of course Techno yelled, why wouldn't he if you knew your wife was potentially at Death's door, the maids, filled with fear, shakily pointed at the healer's room. Techno slammed the door open, everyone was surely surprised that it didn't break off its hinges.

Techno looked to the bed where his beloved rested, Techno walked over to Tommy with a saddened look on his face, Tommy looked so peaceful and beautiful yet so uncomfortable and pain filled. Techno brushed some falling hair behind Tommy's ear, he sat on the chair next to the med bed, folded his arms next to Tommy's chest, and rested his head on them. The voices were quiet but not in the good way, Techno could practically feel their rage. Techno soon fell asleep next to Tommy, his beloved wife who was almost at Death's door.

When the healer left the room she called an old friend of hers and Tommy, "Hey, you still know how to break curses that forbid people from being healed?" The person on the other line responded, "Thank gods, just so you know the person your healing is The King of the Arctic Empire's wife." Then the call ended.

Soon the familiar mage-witch appears in an array of doves, The mage knows just where to go. They have been here of course they came here a lot to talk to Tommy about how her Phoenix wings were growing back in. The door creaked open, awakening Techno with how loud it was. Techno lifted his head to look at the person that entered and was immediately shocked to see..Dalialis? Why was she here? Was..oh oh that's why she was here.

Dalialis was known for her power to heal anything or break any curse. So it wasn’t that surprising to see her in the castle but, wasn’t she on an adventure? Before Techno could ask, Dalialis spoke,

“How long?”

“What?”

“How long has she had the curse?”

“...8 hours.”

“Thank you.”

She moved into the room fully and shut the door behind her and as always those floating hands that randomly appeared when she needed them got to work summoning what she needed to break the curse. First she grabbed the dried rose petals, then the blackberries, then the cinnamon sticks, and finally the dandelion flower heads. Her mixer appeared being held by two hands and the crusher held by one. She dumped the contents into the bowl and let the hand holding the crusher do its work.

Techno was always mesmerized whenever he watched Dalialis work. There was always something about it that made him calm. Soon the mixture was done and Dalialis took the bowl from the flouting hands and scooped some into her hand. Dalialis then had a look that was close to a puzzled one. This wasn’t good. But she did something that made Techno puzzled. Dalialis traced over Tommy’s scars but then proceeded to grab a bottle of poison and pour it down Tommy’s throat..

Wait..

SHE.

DID.

WHAT!?

Techno was PISSED. He was about to go off on the woman but he heard a cough then a groan. Techno looked down and low-and-behold his wife was awake with no poison side effects. Techno sighed a sigh of relief before he remembered that Dalialis poured poison in his wife’s throat. Techno was about to angrily ask why Dalialis did this before she cut him off,

“She won't be affected by poison from here forth”

“What?”

“You heard me, you know you aren’t deaf Techno”

Maybe Techno was dreaming and his wife was still asleep and he would wake up any second now. anyy second now.. Okay so this was real. Did he really now have a wife that was immune to poison? Techno was about to ask Dalialis how this happened but when he looked up she was already long gone.

“T-techno?“ he heard his wife's tired, strained voice call out to him. He looked down to see the smile was gone but not the other scars, that was okay with him his wife was still as she was when they got married.

Wait.. shit they were married. Techno hopped when he looked down at his wedding hand that his ring was clear of blood. He looked down.. And.. oh thank the gods his ring was shining and cleaner than the word clean. “Oi asshole give me attention.“ yup that's his wife Techno moved his attention to his beauty laying softly in the medical bed. Sitting back down, Techno smiled at his angry seeming wife. “Hello love“. Tommy seemed to calm down now knowing that she had all of Techno´s attention.

Techno Purred loudly as Tommy reached a hand to rub his husband´s fluffy cheek. Tommy looked at Techno´s tusks and noticed they were chipped and cracked. Tommy smiled when he spotted the golden ring chains still secured onto one of the tusks. Tommy got up, stopping the rubbing for only a second before sitting on Techno´s lap and continuing to rub again. 

She smiled as she took both of his fluffy cheeks and rubbed them, enjoying how Techno leaned into her hands. The healer came in and cleared their throat. Tommy looked over and stopped the rubbing all together and pulled away so she could hear what the healer had to say. Due to the fact that the rubbing stopped Techno snapped out of it and looked towards the healer.

“The Queen needs to stay in the med bay for 8 weeks so we can monitor her and see if anything goes wrong.“ Techno nodded and left. The healer took one last look at Tommy then left, closing the door behind them. In reality Tommy didn't need to stay, the healer wasn't really the healer, it was a shapeshifter Dream paid to kill her and gave the shifter 8 weeks to kill her.

Every attempt the shifter made either failed or was not able to be put into action because someone walked in. but by the sixth week the shifter did it. They finally killed Tommy, they took a pillow and shoved it on her face until she stopped struggling. They even checked her pulse making sure she was dead and she was. They left through the window making sure to leave no evidence that they were ever there.

The morning Techno went to check on his wife she wasn't there, Techno was sent into a panic as he smelt the scent of his omega in distress and the scent of a beta he ran all throughout the castle. Even looking in his wife's healing room. She was nowhere to be found and it was freaking Techno out that was until he solemnly walked out to the garden. There was his wife...and all of the castle people placed her in a flower covered part of a tree.

Techno started to tear up as he realized that the place where they were laying her was the same exact area she wanted to be placed when she died. But...no..she can't be…..it's too soon.. He just got her back..

Walking up to her was the hardest thing he had to do. He picked a Violet and placed it in the flower of her hair. The castle people didn't dare look up, knowing the King would probably kill them with the way he is. Techno looked at her for a few minutes more before it became too much for him and he walked back to the castle. Remembering that Phil would be coming over, Techno quickly retrieved Tommy's Phoenix.

 Techno couldn't take care of the bird, not when it reminded him of her….gods, he can't even say her name anymore. Techno smelt Phil even before he entered the castle, “Techno! How are ya doin mate?“ Phil called happily before noticing his wet cheeks, puffy eyes, and the caged bird in his hand. “You okay ma-“ “Phil I need you to take the bird without questions and prepare for war against Dream.“

Phil was only halfway shocked, he wanted to ask why Techno was going to war against dream directly after coming back from a war against him. His question was answered as he received some sickening news, “Dream hired someone to kill my wife last night and they were successful to say the least.“ Phil gave him a look of complete sympathy and took the bird from his hands. And left flying all the way back home, He couldn't answer Wilbur when he asked why he had Tommy's bird and why he looked so grim. All Phil could give him was a simple, “I'll tell you when I fully come to terms on what I was just told“ . Wilbur just nodded, understanding that he needed space.

While with Techno it was a completely different story, he was sharpening and polishing his weapons. He already planned on going full on Blood God mode once he reached the battlefield and was already planning out Dream's death to be long and unmerciful, aand hella bloody to satisfy his rage, hatred, and disgust for the green obsessed bastard.

It came the day of the war Phil and Techno gathered all their men and marched toward Dreams kingdom. Gods the war was already bloody, bodies, guts, and everything in between was splattered everywhere. Techno reached Dream's study and slammed the door off its hinges. Techno looked down at the desk seeing a piece of paper laid down neatly. Techno picked it up and read it. He immediately dropped the paper and rushed out of the castle and back towards his castle ignoring Phil´s calls.

Techno reached his castle to see a sight he NEVER wanted to see, His castle was burning from the inside out. Techno ran though the castle not minding the smoke he was inhaling. Once Techno reached the garden he saw the once beautiful garden now in flames and the tree his wife rested on….was gone...it was ashes. Techno walked to the tree once again, Picking up his wife and walking to a hidden place in the woods.

Laying her down in the glass container covered in moss was the hardest thing ever...
