Summary
His name was Tommy Innes, and he was born to touch the stars.
Of course, touching the stars was going to have to wait, because he'd lost that dream the moment his parents had died when he was ten years old—the moment he had watched that starship explosion and felt a bit of his heart die with them. He'd lost that dream when he was transported to prison and then to a place called Pogtopia.
He'd lost that dream when he watched hundreds of children starve on the streets of Pogtopia. When he and two friends become the lone survivors of the Red Planet's Genocide. When they were rescued, and he was captured again.
But maybe—maybe one day, he would regain that dream. Maybe he would hunt down the mass murderer that had executed his friends and gain his revenge—but that day was not now, and now he sat in a prison and stared at the faraway stars.
Perhaps there would be people that he could call family again. People he would see again—people whom he had lost years ago. One day.
Because he was an Avian, born to be forever alone amongst broken stars.
And Avians did not fall unless they wanted to.

Summary
The child was whimpering softly, hands curled tightly into Steve's fur while the wolf licked his face gently. He wasn't much of a sight, hair that could have been blond was matted with mud and leaves, and his torn shirt and trousers did nothing to shield him from the unrelenting wind. Techno could see him shivering from where he was standing, his whole body shaking.
But the biggest concern was the trap that securely snapped around the child's leg, a few inches above the ankle. Techno couldn't help but wince at the way the metal jaws punctured deep into the skin, a concerning amount of blood pooling around the wound, and a tiny amount of the whiteness of bone peeking through.
One wrong move and the child's leg would be snapped clean in half.

Summary
Months passed, not a singular person found his behavior to be amiss. He tried, he did, to act exactly like the Theseus in the book. No one found his behavior to be amiss. Even when Ranboo, the long-lost son of Philza Watson walked in the doors, Theseus acted exactly like the book intended him to be. Theseus poisoned Ranboo's drinks, Tobias abandoned and betrayed him, and Theseus was apprehended by the Captain of the Royal Knights- his brother by blood, Technoblade. Wilbur, a powerful magician, would read out his list of crimes in front of a judge and jury as it was intended.
Theseus Watson, son of the duke, was doomed to die through execution.
He felt the sharp pain of the guillotine slicing his neck.
He woke up. He shot up without thinking twice because he should be back home, right? Yet, when he opened his eyes he was surrounded by red curtains, white bed sheets, and golden accents just like it had been a year ago.

Summary
“Doesn’t matter. Can you heal it?”
This time, Tommy looks thoroughly offended. “Of course I can heal it. Who do you think I am?” He puffs out his chest and rolls his sleeves up, that dark look still lingering in his eyes.
Techno awkwardly sat down on the medical seat with prompting from Tommy. He expects Tommy to reach for some bandages or to use the sink built into a countertop to clean his wound.
What he is not expecting, however, is for Tommy’s scrawny yet corded arms to wrap around his head and violently snap. He barely has time to realize how awfully he just screwed up before the world goes dark and Techno dies.
or, Tommy is a really bad healer
or or, Tommy didn't fail medical school for nothing

Summary
Tommy stepped away, cursing the way his eyes burned and the first tear that slid down his cheek. “I trusted you.”
Sighing, Techno wiped the tear away in a moment of tenderness. Despite the action, he looked at Tommy with the same indifference, though there was a spark of something else there now. Something that was threatening to spill to the surface.
“That was your first mistake.”
Tommy shied away from the touch, glaring with the intensity of the fire that consumed the land around them. “Say it, then. Say it never meant anything. Look me in the eye and fucking say it.”
It was almost disheartening the way Techno looked away and Tommy scoffed at the show of cowardice. “I’m not going to-”
“No. Absolutely not,” Tommy grits through his teeth, anger rising higher than before, “No more half-truths, no more silence. I need to hear it from you. Was I ever anything more than a means to an end?”
"...You were a liability."
