Chapter Text

Dan Kuzo

-Dan is clingy as hell and is constantly messaging his obsession because he is afraid they will leave with radio silence like shun.

- Draco does try to keep Dan in check with how many times Dan massages his obsession in a period of time but even he can’t really control Dan when it comes to his darling.  Draco himself also likes being around Dan’s obsession because in his mind (Draco’s mind) Dan’s obsession brings out the best of Dan.

-Dan will fight all of his obsessions battles for them, whether they want him to or not, he wants to prove to them that dan is the man to rely on.

Shun Kazami

Although shun has been radio silent towards everyone he still makes it his priority to keep in check with his obsession, even going as far to message them while even asking to not tell a single thing towards the rest of the brawlers. 

-when he first started contacted his obsession there was a long break before he would contact them again but the break between contact to contact started to become shorter until he basically contacted them everyday

-Shun is thankful Skyress is there to stop him from complete insanity by reminding him that his obsession is not completely helpless without him and that they can take care of themselves, however that does not stop him from being scared that they will leave him

-Although Shun is quiet and reserved from the outside he really does care about his obsession and he shows that in his own way, by being nearby and helping them when they are in trouble to just outright following them without them knowing because he wants to make sure they are safe.

Marucho Marukura

-When Marucho moved to where Dan, Runo and Julie live, he not only moved there to check and see if they were legit, he also went to see is his obsession was legit and real.

-Marucho has a room ready for his obsession for when they accept their part in Marucho’s family, should he and his family get the courage to ask them to be a part of their family

-Marucho sees his obsession as a sibling of his and his parents encourage that line of thinking seeings as it makes him happy, his obsession makes them happy as well and since they can’t have anymore children they are more than happy to give Marucho a sibling this way.

-Marucho’s obsession is going to get spoiled by both him and his parents.

{Bonus: If his obession is an orphan, his parents will adopt them straight away. and if they still have a loving family…..they know some people but Marucho might be against it}

Chapter Text

This was not supposed to happen, his darling, his love of his live should not be doing this. After all that he has done for them, they do this.

Do they know that they are being used, do they know that they are a stepping stone to his success.

The fact that masquarade told the brawlers that S/O was his best pawn and that they are going to loose no matter what they do before he dissapeared did not calm him down, it only made him feel more anger.

“Shun, are you alright?” Dan asked once he noticed that shun looked angry, unlike his usual neuteral face that made it hard to see what he was feeling. “I understand that it is hard to accept that S/o betrayed us-“ Dan could not finish his sentence before Shun interuppted him.

“Im fine, leave me alone.” Shun said before he parkoured away from everyone, he needed to be alone to figure out the best course of action to keep his darling safe and sound and away from Masquarade so that he cannot currupt his innocent darling more than he already has.

His darling is up for a treat, because he is going to make sure that they know who they belong to, and that they are to fragile to be going around brawling people , that masquarade tricked them because he took pity on them, because he (Masquarade) thought that they were powerfull but that he was wrong.

That people have been going easy on them because they are so weak and powerless, and make them solemly rely on him (Shun) instead.

Yandere Drago (Battle Brawlers)

Platonic (I refuse to write romantic headcanons for the bakugan)
Obsession is human

Drago would meet his obsession through Dan

After that Drago would notice his darling being caring towards their bakugan and preferring not to brawl with them

Drago would convince Dan to keep an eye out for his obsession, mentioning how they don’t like to brawl as a convincing point

There is a chance that Dan would also become a yandere for Drago’s obsession because of how close their bond is.

Drago would prefer if his obsession was not going along with the brawlers shenanigans but at the same time he would not know if something was wrong with them if they were not nearby

Drago also knows that he should not feel this way about his obsession/ a human in general but he could not help himself, they were fragile and because his obsession preferred not to brawl it kind of reïnforced that idea in his head.

Chapter Text

Masquerade is a very manipulative yandere. I agree with that, however I can only see him complimenting/worshiping his obsession whenever they listen to what he wants them to do or to what he has to say

He is one for hiding his darling away unless they are a very good brawler and he uses them for tag team brawls but even that doesn't happen often as he can’t risk letting them escape or notify other people that they are not with him because they want to. 

He did not want to give in to the feelings he had for his obsession, he was something created to fulfill a purpose and he is not even sure if he will survive once he fulfilled it.

Still the silent core also has an effect on him, although he was created by it, he still felt the way it made him aggressive and possessive of his things and it just so happens that his obsession was something of his.

He will manipulate his way into his darling's life, using the information Alice already has on them (and unknowingly giving that to him) as a way to insert himself into his life.

He has followed his darling from the shadows before leaving and going after some weakling to battle out his frustration of not being able to fully interact with his obsession

will do everything he can to get his darling on his side, making his words sweet like honey and give empty promises just so they will be at his side, he doesn’t want to use the silent core to help him keep his darling at his side because they will change the way they are if/when the core gets used on them.

He will be very upset if his obsession ended up joining the brawlers in order to fight against him, he was doing so much behind the scenes in order to make sure they could have a happy future together and this is how they repay him? It's clear that he needs to act quicker than he originally planned if he wanted to sway his obsession to his side.

Will flat out find dirt about their friends so that they will start to have more reasons to stay at his side, fake promises that no matter what happens Masquerade will always be at their side and won’t betray them or take their feelings for granted.

Chapter Text

Having to leave behind his sister was a hard choice, but one he had to make in order to follow his ambitions.

When he joined the vexos he just saw it as a stepping stone in order to become the strongest brawler there is, he never expected to find someone there and fall in love

Even though he has Gus following him everywhere he goes, he also knows that Gus will do what he says due to his pledge of loyalty.

However, Gus is also a liability for Yandere Spectra because Gus can be overprotective of Spectra which pisses him off, he needs time alone so that he can brainstorm ways that he can make his obsession his.

Helios doesn’t get the fact why Spectra is obsessed with his darling, but he does get benefits from Spectra’s obsession because Spectra does also get more obsessed with becoming stronger to maybe make a deal that's tied to battle results.

Spectra prefers to play mind games with his obsession and manipulate them with his words than to kidnap them or have them on surveillance 24/7.  It’s not that he thinks that he is above such actions, but it’s sweeter to win in a battle with high stakes than to just take it, it makes the victory much sweeter if he gets his obsession as the prize.

When he eventually joins the Bakugan Battle Brawlers Resistance, he convinces his obsession to join as well, saying that it will increase their chances to win against Zenoheld than if they were to do it alone.

Before his final fight against Dan (and thus before joining the Bakugan Battle Brawlers Resistance)  he only cares about his needs and wants, ignoring what his obsession might think to get his own satisfaction.  But once he sees the error in his ways he does try to make it up, and he becomes more relaxed if his obsession decides to give him their forgiveness and stay with him even with everything he did to them.

He does slightly loose it if his obsession does not forgive him and leave him to go their own way, but he won’t go after them immediately.  He wants to make the relationship more healthy and make it two-sided instead of it just being a one-sided abusive relationship.

It does hurt him mentally after being near them for so long to be separated from them, but he uses the opportunity to show that he changed, and that he can be better.  Courting them in the popper fashion than what he did before and when they do get back together (or together, depending on whether you considered them in a relationship before that) he really tries to make it more of an equal relationship, but he does sometime slip back into playing mind games and manipulative tactics to get them to do what he wants.

Chapter Text

Yandere Alice is mostly a pacifist yandere who has a tendency to stalk her obsession.

When she first realizes her feelings for Spectra, she is at odds with it because he is at that point still a part of the vexos. But when he joins the Bakugan Battle Brawlers Resistance. She is much more comfortable with her feelings now that they are on the same side.

When Spectra notices what kind of feelings that Alice might have for him, he might just toy with her to see how far she would go, also so that he can gauge if the feelings might be dangerous for those surrounding him once he realizes they go farther than what is normal for an average human being.    When he knows that they aren’t dangerous he might feel flattered that someone has those feelings for him, might make him a little bit cocky too as it feeds his ego.

Alice will wait awhile before she confesses because she wants to make sure there is little to no chance that Spectra will reject her confession.

When they are dating, Alice will force Spectra to take breaks and maybe take over his projects for a bit before Spectra has access to them so that she knows that he is well rested.

She will also put in a spying software in all of Spectra’s devices so that when she is not there, she can still keep an eye on him.

I also think that Alice and Spectra go over brawling strategy together, and Alice help him with the flaws in the strategy if they are there.

Alice might also let Spectra use Hydranoid once in a while because she knows that her bakugan partner likes to brawl, but she really doesn’t want to, so she might as well let her obsession take good care of her partner for him and win some brawls while she is working on something else.

Chapter Text

At first, he would be very conflicted with his emotions because of his loyalty towards Spectra, but once he realizes the feelings won’t go away, he will start planning how to get his obsession towards his and Spectra’s side.

He fully believes that he is able to convince his obsession to join them, no matter what side his obsession was originally on (resistance or vexos) because of how powerful Spectra and him are.

When his obsession does join him and Spectra, I can see him being extremely aware of where his obsession is at all times and making sure that they take care of themselves by almost aggressively motherhenning them.

His obsession won’t go unnoticed by Spectra either, but after Spectra realizes that Gus is still as loyal as he was before his obsession started, then he will just watch in amusement at what Gus is trying to do. He won’t help them escape, either, because of Gus loyalty towards him.

I can see Gus snap once his obsession rejects his advancements/confession and just full out kidnaps them to make sure that they will stay in his life forever.  He will work with a punishment/reward system, every time his obsession disobeys him he will downgrade his obsessions bedroom/living room and every time they obey or show good behaviour he upgrades it.

He will give his obsession everything they want except for freedom, and sees the punishments as something that is necessary to make his obsession see that they are meant to be.

Furthermore, he won’t do actual intimate stuff without consent, but he does take the rejections harshly, leaving them alone for a day or two to collect and take time for himself, but he still gives them food and water during that time period.

However, if Gus never had to kidnap his obsession, and they moved in together like a normal couple, it could be that his obsession could remain oblivious to the fact that Gus is a yandere.   Because if they got together with Gus willingly and moved in with Gus willingly, he will just project his emotions onto the people his obsession surrounds themselves with, making up false things about the people he doesn't like or framing them for things they did not do as to remove them from his obsession's life.   He validates his actions in his mind with the fact that he is doing that to protect them. 

Chapter Text

Runo is possessive and believes that she knows what is best for her obsession, so she is willing to verbally fight with her obsession to get her way because she thinks that her way is the best way for her obsession.

She is not a yandere that would kidnap her obsession, but she is the type of yandere that would go out of her way to be glued to her obsessions side, weather that would be because she stalked her obsession enough to know where they would be at any given time or because she saw them in the corner of her eye and decided to spend the entire day with them.

She likes being in control and hates being corrected, so you can believe that she would make her obsession question anything they say even if they are correct when Runo believes that they are in the wrong.

She also loves cooking for her obsession, making sure to spend time learning how to make her obsessions favourite dishes so that she can surprise them with it.

She is also all for helping her obsession learn how to brawl and brawl together with her obsession, she likes bakugan, and she loves her obsession so why not mix the two together.

Chapter Text

Dan is an overprotective yandere and will treat his obsession as if they are incapable of protecting/standing up for themself even when they are actually capable of doing so.

If Dan was already obsessed with his obsession before bakugan. He will involve them with everything bakugan related, example being him getting his obsession to help him and Shun create the rules for bakugan battles.

If his obsession is there when Drago comes back to earth (season 2), Dan will have his obsession at his side as he listens to Drago, dragging them along for the ride as he cannot go without them for too long.

Dan will brawl for his obsession as he doesn’t want anyone else besides him to brawl his obsession, especially because he doesn’t want anyone to hurt his obsession by beating them and taking away their guardian bakugan.   The only people besides Dan that his obsession is allowed to brawl are the bakugan battle brawlers because they have Dan’s full trust that they won’t do anything to harm his obsession.

Dan is also delusional so he doesn’t see anything wrong with his behavior and the only two people that can get him to back off for a little bit are Shun, Drago and Marucho as he trusts their opinion more than his own at times.
