“heh... welp, i’m heading to grillby’s… papyrus… don’t wait up for me, ok?”
Sighing, Papyrus looks around Snowdin.
Sans said he needed to go do something, but now it’s time for dinner and he’s still not back.
Of course, that just means he probably took a nap where he wasn’t supposed to. Leading Papyrus to have to look for him!
Though, Sans can be really sneaky when he wants to be…
Walking to the edge of Snowdin forest once again, Papyrus looks for his brother.
Tall door Sans likes to frequent? Not there. Knocking on the door leaves no answer.
Sans’s first sentry station? Not there, though it’s nice to know that Sans throws away his empty condiment bottles!
Checking once again along the paths to Snowdin, looking thoroughly through the trees Sans likes to nap against, and even the trees Sans doesn’t like to nap against!
Making it to Snowdin town, he looks at Grillby’s… but Sans isn’t there either! Papyrus walks up to Grillby and asks about Sans, but Grillby remains silent, as always.
Shrugging, Papyrus walks out and back into his house.
After searching through the house, even in that secret basement Sans has, he braves himself for the dirtiness of Sans’s room.
But it’s surprisingly clean! Even that trash tornado Papyrus knows Sans has is gone!
Oh, Papyrus is so proud of Sans!! Papyrus will need to express that when he sees his brother.
Walking past Snowdin and into Waterfall, Papyrus checks Sans’s second sentry station.
He’s not there, though the inside of it is the same as Sans’s last sentry station. Meaning that it’s not clean, but at least a tiny bit organized! Which is good enough for Papyrus!
Walking to Undyne’s house. Papyrus knocks on the door.
But no one answered.
Calling out for her a few times, Papyrus just shrugs it off as weird.
Even if it’s obvious that it’s Undyne thats breathing in there. But if she wants to hide, it’s okay!
Looking around the rest Waterfall, it seems like Sans isn’t there either.
Getting into Hotland, Papyrus checks Sans’s third, and last, sentry station.
Papyrus finds nothing but half-full condiment bottles.
Going into the laboratory. He finds he can only go through the main floor, but after doing a extensive search through it, Papyrus knows that Sans isn’t there.
Moving on, Papyrus goes through those awful steam puzzles, and walks through that webbed place.
Papyrus still hasn’t found Sans.
But that’s fine! There’s still so much to check!
Going to where Sans does his Comedian Gig, Papyrus looks to see if he is there. But he isn’t. Looking through the rest of MTT Resort produces the same results.
And so Papyrus walks some more.
Walking through the CORE, it was hard going through all the twists and turns, but Papyrus is positive that he went into every room and that Sans wasn’t there in each of them.
Leaving the CORE and getting into the Capital, Papyrus walks by many houses and asks many people about his brother.
They all say that they don’t know where he is. Either that, or they just ignore him, but that’s okay!
Walking into the King’s Castle, Papyrus checks each room twice before walking down a… sunset themed hallway? It’s confusing.
Still, Papyrus searches and Sans is not there.
Going into the King’s room, Papyrus finds… a queen?!
Well, no matter. What matters is…
“HELLO YOUR MAJESTY! I’M WONDERING, HAVE YOU SEEN MY BROTHER, SANS?”
Sighing, she gets up from her throne.
Regal and proper, she leads Papyrus through the castle.
And to a tombstone.
Sans Snowdin

Seems like Sans isn’t here either.
Guess Papyrus needs to start from the beginning again.
