Summary
Thirty years ago was the beginning of the end. The peaceful Era of human history had ceased its steps and time though still moving forward seemed to be in a retrograde. When the supply of their miracle medicine ran out human faced a deadly plague that decimated most of the population. To fight back against the disease the water supplies were injected with a heavy dose of their "medicine" and while it was enough to cure and save most of the remaining population a quarter of those people were lost. Over exposure to the demon's DNA inside the medicine happened through large amounts of contact with the solution such as showers or baths.
It was those people who started the second plague, the demons were brought back from the brink of extinction.
