Kitty of the Void

Summary:

Due to a sudden, and rather random event, a certain Herrscher of the Void get's stuck in a cat's body.

And she might even come to enjoy it, if only because she likes to mess with the man who adopted her vessel.

Work Text:

Siegfried was tired, mentally that is, ever since he gave his little girl, Kiana, her name things have been going great for the two. She was more energetic nowadays, with Siegfriend and her having some family time, like cooking, which made him feel proud when she made her first pizza toast.

However, even then, she was still mostly quiet, with a smile on her face or not. Which however changed not too long ago. Something that took the form of a cat that Kiana brought home while she was outside one day while he was making food.

Said cat was colored primarily white, with spots of light-orange and dark-brown which was borderline black all over her fur. her left ear had a weird star shaped black and white decorative piece, with a pink middle.

And let’s not forget the fact Siegfried was like, 99 percent sure that goddamn cat was the Second Herrscher, while the yellow eyes with star-shaped pupils didn’t exactly give it away to Siegried, but dammit did he have a gut feeling he was right, which he confirmed when he gave the idea to name her Sirin and she definitely reacted to the name.

And the damn way the cat behaved toward him and towards his little girl, and towards him showed the clear bias she had.

The damn cat, Sirin as she was now named, liked Kiana, she acted all nice and cuddly to his little girl, but would be the pettiest goddamn creature whenever Kiana wasn’t around and it was just the two of them. Oh did he just make himself some food? Whoops, it’s on the floor the moment he looks away. Goddamn that cat…

Sirin recently happened to find her consciousness in this form of a cat, she blamed that weirdly clothed Herrscher on a sword, who came by, shoved her in this body, and buggered off to bloody Narnia…

Oh well, at least she could feel the connection to her host, so she made her way over to her host, because no way in Babylon is she staying away from her precious core and vessel.

When she eventually got to her host, she found her chopping some wood, and made her way over… only to be soon spotted, and promptly scooped up into the arms of her vessel. She was about to start clawing at her, but…

…She felt warmth, so she stopped, and simply basked in it as her core’s vessel started to scratch her head while heading to the house.

Where she saw that damn man, and she couldn’t help but glare at him from her core’s vessel’s arms. Oh this is gonna be awful, she can already tell.

A week of her being stuck in this form, and Sirin wasn’t as angry as one might have expected.

While needing food for her new body was awkward, she didn’t mind, since she could sustain herself off of her core’s Honkai energy, and if that wasn’t enough, the Honkai Beasts Kiana and that man killed were, even if she didn’t like eating the Beasts, she kind of didn’t want to die of starvation. Even if her connection was a little stronger now, it wasn’t enough to sustain her.

So here she was, nibbling on an Archangels wing on the table of the two white-haired owners of the house. Her vessel had to excuse herself for a few minutes, so Sirin was currently stuck in the same room as the man.

The man stopped shortly after Kiana left, and put the food he was making down for a bit while turning to her with his eyes squinted a little.

‘’...Alright, Sirin, I think we both know what you are-’’

She couldn’t help but roll her cat eyes.

‘’-So, if you do anything to my little girl, I swear I won’t hesitate to get rid of you.’’

…Sirin processed the mans words as the man pointed the knife in his hand at her, before she pushed the Honkai Beast limb she was nibbling on, and tried to look as smug as possible while the knife was pointed directly at her throat, knowing damn well the man won’t do a single thing to her because Kiana likes Sirin to bit.

The annoyed twitch of the man's eyes made Sirin’s smugness sky rocket as he pulled the knife away and she went back to her meal right as Kiana came back and started to scratch her.

If Sirin had to say, she didn’t mind her new lifestyle one bit.
