Chapter 1: welcome!
Chapter Text
Junichiro and Kenji wall through the halls. Junichiro is smiling widely as he holds Kenjis' hand.
In their UA uniform, Kenji is wearing slippers instead of shoes and wearing his straw hat, and Junichiro is wearing the school blazer around his waist. Junichiro had a lot of hair pins, and he had taken off his ear piercings.
"Kenji... I'm nervous..." Junichiro mumbled, clutching Kenjis' hand tightly, afraid of letting go.
"Don't worry! You'll steel yourself like you did with Atsushi's entrance exam!" Kenji smiled.
...
"Wait, what?" Junichiro blinked.
"Yes. you and Kenji are going to go on an undercover mission to one of the finest hero schools in Japan-" Fukuzawa explained.
"UA high!" Dazai clapped.
Kenji looked confused. Yosano looked disgusted as Kyouka grimaced. Atsushi had frowned a little.
"Huh?" Kenji asked.
"Heroes? Have they not tried to invade Yokohama multiple times before?" Kunikida asked.
“Exactly, but we need to know why exactly. We are sending two of ours in, what better than Tanizaki and kenji?” Ranpo added.
“B-but how-?”
...
Junichiro took one step inside, and everyone cheered, and he choked back a scream. Kenji had smiles.
"Hello!" Kenji waved.
"Welcome to UA!" Most of the class cheered. Junichuro tried to maintain his posture, both of them having let go of their hands.
"Meet our new transfers from Yokohama, Junichiro Nakahara, and Kenji Nakaraha," the teacher said, pointing to the two of them.
"Good morning! My name is Kenji Nakahara! My quirk is Super Strength. This is my older brother, Junichiro! His quirk is Light Show! He makes illusions! It's super cool!" Kenji bounced happily, tugging at Junichirou sleeve.
"Ah- good morning! My name is Junichiro Nakahara. My quirk is Light Show, although their minor ones." Junichiro smiled softly.
While Kenji was a ball of walking sunshine, his older brother was a nervous wreck in Aizawas eyes.
...
"So... we need a guardian, right?" Tanizaki asked.
"We are deploying Nakahara-san-" Fukuzawa said before Dazai spat out his water to poor Kunikida in front of him.
"That chibi!?"
"They're both gingers, and he's fond of Kenji, I think it makes a good pick," Yosano grinned.
"Nakahara-san can act pretty well. As fatherly... maybe he acts that way unconsciously," Kyouka mumbled.
...
Chuuya was at the small apartment he was deployed to. He was unpacking the items rather quickly. With fabricated photos on the wall, the forged documents in a safe and, of course, the wine in a locked cabinet. He put his hat and coat on the rack and sighed.
He came back from sending the two kids off to UA. That school had a lower budget than Moris office. He didn't know why he accepted this proposal. He was going to meet the kids and say no, but realised Kenji was one of them. He can't say no to Kenji, can he?
Oh, and that ginger kid sounds impressive from accounts of late Tachihara..( may he rest in peace ) and Gin. This kid managed to even scare Gin. That's something he will forever be impressed with.
So he saw these two, waiting at the train station, the sunshine boy holding the nervous kids' hand like he might fall over.
Call him a softie, but if that doesn't warm your heart, Chuuya doesn't know what does.
...
Junichiro was separated from Kenji during lunch, so he did the most logical thing and walked to the hallways with his tray before bumping into another boy doing the same. He had dark circles and purple hair.
"Ah... sorry," Junichiro bowed a little out of habit, making way for the purple haired kid to do the same.
"Are you looking for somewhere to eat?" The purple haired kid asked.
"Yes... but I lost my brother, so I'm eating in the hallways," Junichiro explained. The purple haired boy blinked in confusion as he narrowed his eyes.
"I see,"
The kid had walked away. Junichiro was about to continue walking too before he heard Kenji laugh.
"Junichiro!" Kenji had lifted him up, earning a surprised squeak from Junichiro.
"Kenji! Don't do that. You almost made me drop my food!" Junichiro whispered.
Kenji only smiled innocently, and Junichiro sighed fondly.
"Fine. Come, I'll share my food." Junichiro said, Kenji putting him down. The two of them sat in the hallway, Kenji eating half an apple and drinking his milk carton. Junichiro ate his sandwich silently, knees brought to his chest quietly eating.
"Junichiro," Kenji asked.
"Yes, Kenji?" Junichiro hummed.
"Do you think Nakahara-san will let me bring a cow to our apartment?" Junichiro choked on his sandwich.
"Why would you want a cow!?" Junichiro asked.
Kenji only giggled, knowing he had got Junichir out of his mind.
...
Aizawa silently observed the kids from afar. He had purposely asked a kid to separate the two of them to see how they would act without each other for a few minutes. The kid would bump into Junichiro, and Kenji would be lost within the crowd.
Junichiro had panicked and gripped his lunch tray like he'll break it. He decided to hide out in the hallways. Kenji had just asked people around and found his older brother lifting him up. He learned the two were adopted by a man named Nakahara Chuuya. A businessman with several million yen to his name. The two will be growing up rich from an orphanage.
Yokohama huh..
...
"Nakahara-kun!" One of the girls called out. Kenji turned his head around while gripping onto Junichiro' hand tightly.
"Yes!" Kenji asked.
"Is it scary in Yokohama! I heard it's a city run by villains! I heard that those with quirks live in fear because of those ability users. Are abilities scary? I heard something about a Mafia -" a few of the students asked.
"Where are you getting this information from?" Junichiros voice cuts through the crowd, he looked... angry?
"Uh- ..."
"Oh no! Dad will be upset if we're late! Hurry, Junichiro!" Kenji said, grabbing his bag and Junichiros.
Junichiro was about to be bombarded with more questions, but Kenji grabbed him and went. Kenji kept speed walking as Junichiro tried to catch up.
"Kenji, slow down!" Junichiro huffed.
"Nakahara-san said he'll be getting beef stew! Let's go!" Kenji said excitedly.
The two reached the entrance, and Chuuya Nakahara was standing there with a reasonably sized family sized car.
"This is different from the motorcycle..." Junichiro mumbled.
"Apparently, you can't fit more than 2 people on a bike here," Chuuya mumbled.
"You can't?" Kenji asked, hugging Chuuya.
"I don't see why not. I can make Snow fly here with my quirk." Chuuya cackled, ruffling Junichiro, who looked scared out of his wits.
"Please don't say things like that..." Junichiro mumbled, opening the back door seat, letting Kenji enter it first, and he entered the inside later. Chuuya makes sure they are in and hops into the driver seat and buckles up.
...
Aizawa saw the Nakahara family, Nakahara was a fairly young man, having adopted teenagers, he seems quite used to it. He hugs Kenji and ruffles Junichiros hair. They talk for a bit, and he lets his kid enter the car first, entering it afterwards. They drive away, and Aizawa turns back to read their files.
Name : Junichiro Tanizaki-Nakahara
Quirk : Light Show. This quirk allows the user to create illusions, however, only within a 5 kilometre radius. The drawback is that he will experience nervousness and anxiety afterwards.
Age : 16
Birth place : Yokohama
Note : Junichiro has ended up in the hospital for many of his meltdowns and anxiety episodes. If he were to experience an anxiety meltdown, contact the guardian or brother immediately.
'That explains his nervousness, I suppose...' Aizawa thought to himself, putting the file away and picking another one up.
Name : Kenji Miyazawa-Nakahara
Quirk : Super Strength. This Quirk allows the user to have insane durability and strength despite their small frame. The only drawback is that the user must be hungry.
Age : 15
Birth Place : Ihavoto (small rural village on the outskirts of Yokohama)
Note : Never make Kenji mad, he loses control.
Aizawa put that one down as well. If Junichiro has anxiety, does that mean he can not participate in the UA festival? That got him in full motion. He thought about it as he walked back to the classroom.
Yokohama was known for their violent nature to herpes, Heck, one even decapitated a hero but fixed them new and sent them running away from the borders. A newbie hero had wanted to show off, so he tried to cross the border, only to be passed a lemon, and it blew up in his face.
All Might himself has tried 2 years ago, only to be pushed back by gravity - into the same instances, gravity would pull them to the ground so hard it would break their bones and die.
He pitied the Yokohama citizens. They must be so miserable, without being able to contact the outside world. It's a wonder how UA managed to strike a deal with the Yokohama government so that these two poor kids could live outside the villain-run country.
...
Atsushi called Junichiro, who answered with a grin. It was a video call, so they could see each other's faces. Atsushi calls everyone else over, and barely everyone can fit in the laptop's camera frame.
"How have you been, you two?" Atsushi asked, smiling brightly.
"The first day of our mission was hectic! We learned new things, too. You can't drive until you're 18, and you can't fit more than two people on a motorcycle, that's why Chuuya-san got a car!" Kenji bounced happily. The two were wearing their casual clothing in the apartment.
"Have you been eating well? Just because you need your ability at all times doesn't mean you have to starve yourself, okay?" Yosano said softly to Kenji.
"That includes you, Tanizaki-kun! You should drink more water, your lips are cracking!" Dazai chirped playfully.
"Mhm! Musufatsu has interesting food. But it's weird. Their beef doesn't taste the same!"
"We got our beef straight from the farms, theirs are exported,"
"So the cows flew in the air like Chuuya-san?"
The Agency chuckled as Naomi squeezed through.
"Oni-sama! How are you doing, onii sama!" Naomi eagerly asked, shoving Atsushi aside.
"N-Naomi! Don't do that to Atsushi-kun! But don't worry, we are doing well so far,"
"Have you two been abiding by the school rules and the schedule given? If you need any help with your studies, I will not hesitate to help you if I have extra time in my schedule," Kunikida said.
"How are the sweets? Bring some back during your next break! Bring lots of it! Mountain loads of it!" Ranpo cheekily added.
"Mhm," Kyouka nodded.
"GET OFF THE DAMN PHONE AND HELP ME UNPACK!" Chuuyas' scream echoes through the apartment. Junichiro let out a small sound as Kenji waved goodbye.
"Bye everyone, we'll call back next time!" The two of them said before another yell from Chuuya made them hang up.
...
"Let's establish rules. Since we have to look 'normal'. Number 1, curfew is at 6 pm, you end school at 3. If you have remedial or hero training, whatever they call it, you should end by 5. It's a 20-minute drive and a forty five minute walk from UA to our apartment. Sometimes I pick you up, but remember, I'm also busy infiltrating the hero society as they call it. On Saturdays, we are going out to eat lunch. On Sundays, we stay here and write our reports, and you do your homework," Chuuya went on and on. Junichiro nodded, and Kenji nodded.
"May I ask why on Saturdays we eat lunch?" Junichiro asked.
"Well, for starters, we have to look normal. By the time you return, I'll be out on my part of the mission. So we won't see each other and look like a normal family. Besides, your 'teachers' are watching our every move." Chuuya explained.
"Can we buy stuff?" Kenji asked.
"I'll pay. And no, taking each other on suicide missions or speaking out past curfew." Chuuya sighed.
"Who would want to go on a suicide mission except Dazai-san?"
...
As the night fell, Chuuya had gone into his usual outfit, his suit and coat. He picked up his hat as the two kids bid him farewell.
"Don't die!" Kenji glimmered.
"What he said..." Junichiro chuckled.
Chuuya had gotten on his motorcycle and drove off to one of the many hero agencies. Usually, all he had to do was get off his motorcycle, and the other Mafia members would make way for him. But here, he is Nakahara Chuuya, father to two adopted kids, business man that invests in vineyards and wine, and also a rich man.
"Hi, I booked a meeting with Endeavour?" Chuuya smiled at the clerk.
"ID, please?" Chuuya took out his fake identity card, and there was a beeping noise, and the clerk smiled.
"He is having a press conference about now. You can meet him there and afterwards," the clerk said, passing the ID card back to Chuuya.
"Thanks." Chuuya said, keeping the card and walking through the building. Based on the building layout given to him by Higuchi, it's practically bustling with heroes. The number 2 hero with a fire quirk. Fire? So, like what, he is on fire - pfft! What a joke
Chuuya paused when he saw a flaming man walk through the door.
"You're joking..." Chuuya mumbled to himself. He stared at Endeavour as he walked past. This campfire is-
'Remember, chibi! These heroes are also very egotistical. Most do it for the money!' Dazais voice rang at the back of his head. Right.
Their mission was to expose the heroes that have tried to infiltrate Yokohama. Starting with Endeavour. Chuuya first retired his hair, and took off his hat and coat, walking to Endeavours office with a fake newspaper journalist ID card.
He knocks on the door, a few minutes later, sliding open and Chuuya puts on a smile.
"Good evening, Pro Hero Endeavour, my name is Chisinau from the Night Crime Newspaper, and I would like to have a newspaper article on you," Chuuya smiled.
"Tch! There is a specific rule that interviews must be only on Tuesdays-"
"No. I've been given permission to do it tonight," Chuuya presses on.
Endeavour wanted to chase the ginger news reporter out.
"Or would you like me to talk about your firstborn son?"
Chapter 2: its a new day in a city thats not mine
Summary:
“That is a rude stereotype, sir!” Kenji spoke up, a smile on his face as he walked.
“Good afternoon! My name is Kenji Miyazawa-Nakahara!” He held a hand out but none of the students took it.
Kenji waited until Junichiro stumbled to Kenji and put his hand down gently.
“Sorry, but we aren’t ‘miserable’ or ‘dangerous’,” Kenji continued talking.
“Rather, it's a rather rude stereotype! It’s like saying the people of Mususfatsu can only black and white!” Kenji was annoyed, his smile said so. Often mistaken if someone doesn’t know how to tell the difference between the two.
Chapter Text
Junichiro had woken up considerably late. It was 7. Oh shoot! Class starts at 7.30! He jumped off the mattress (the bed frame hasn't been set up as all three of them got confused by the mechanism.)
"I'M LATE!" Junichiro yelled, brushing his teeth and showering. He had then thrown on his uniform, not bothering to wear the school blazer yet as he rushed to the kitchen to see Kenji just snacking on a granola bar.
"Class starts at 8.35?" Kenji said.
"That means we have to be there at 8.20," Junichiro mumbled, he felt angry at himself for sleeping through his alarm. Kenji was already in his uniform and was already ready.
"I'M BACK! ARE YOU TWO READY!?" Chuuyas hair was dishevelled, his coat and hat in his arms as he held several shopping bags on his arms, some held up by his ability.
"Chuuya-san?" Junichiro gasped, dropping his bag.
"It's okay! Come on get ready, I'm driving you guys there," Chuuya said.
"It's only 7.20-" Kenji said in confusion.
“Oh goodness, that’s late,” Chuuya said, putting the bags down on the kitchen counter and throwing his coat aside and out of his hat.
“Come lets go lets go,” Chuuya urged them.
The drive was hectic. It was filled with Kenji asking innocent wide eyed questions and clutching his bag innocently. Junichiro was worried and panicking about being late. Chuuya was driving fast, and he was yelling in another language.
They reached the front gate, it was quite empty, adding to Kenji’s confusement.
“Oh, we’re not so late,” Junichiro said, landing on his knees, checking a little. Chuuya sighed loudly, taking off his hat and fanning himself with it.
“Should we get breakfast?” Chuuya asked.
“Ooh!” Kenji gleamed.
It was currently 7.40 am, Junichiro’s hair is very unkempt and Kenji looks confused. He did not look amused or excited or processing the situation. It was barely 20 minutes ago that he was snacking on a granola bar. Some of the students walked past Junichiro slumped in the car, Chuuya fanning Kenji with his hat and Kenji holding Junichiro’s hand.
They eventually entered the school, Chuuya waving them goodbye, hopping into the car and bidding them goodbye. Junichiro and Kenji had walked to class, and a small number of people were present. The both of them sat down, minding their own businesses. Kenji was texting Kyouka, advising her how to take care of the plants on the rooftop. Junichiro had his head down, falling asleep, wearing headphones.
Soon it was 8 am, Kenji was still typing on the phone in a quiet and calm manner. Junichiro was asleep in the seat beside him. The two of them wordlessly spend their morning in silence- that is until the class monitor approaches them.
“Excuse me! My name is Tenya Iida, I am the class’ class representative!” The blue haired boy says enthusiastically, his hand in a flat shape. Kenji lowered his phone to blink at Iida and give a warm smile.
“Good morning! My name is Kenji,” Kenji said, giving a small goodbye to Kyouka and flipping his phone close.
“I believe that you two are from Yokohama? Is it true that they threaten people with quirks? And those with abilities are dangerous?” Iida asked, which drew the attention of the other classmates, specifically a green haired boy with a notebook.
“Isn’t Yokohama run by villains?” The green haired boy asked.
“No… we’re not ruled by villains though?” Kenji said, tilting his head in confusion. Other students began coming closer to ask questions, question after question to poor Kenji, which woke Junichiro up.
Junichiro sat up before one of the shortest people he had ever seen was right in front of his face. He had purple round hair, which in Junichiro’s opinion was the most ugly thing he has ever seen.
“Do the women in Yokohama have big boobs?” The midget asked.
Junichiro fought back a gag and pushed the boy away.
“Class, back at your seats.” The teacher came in, black hair and covered in any bandages– what exactly had he gone through to look worse than Dazai?
“The fight is not over yet,” The teacher began Kenji cast a glance at Junichiro, who also looked confused and slightly nervous.
“Is it the villains?” Some of the students murmured.
“As you all know, the UA sports festival is drawing near,”
‘Who has a festival in the middle of the term-’ Junichiro thought.
“That’s a super normal school event!” one of them cheered.
The class began cheering, leaving Kenji and Junichiro confused. Junichiro was most confused because of his half-awake manner.
“Wait wait wait-!” The pikachu look alike had shoved Kirishima’s face as he raised his hand.
"Is it okay to have a sports festival so soon after the villains snuck inside?" earphone jack asked, making the whole class turn at her. Then they looked at Dazai-san 2.0, searching for answers. Junichiro had read something about the students being attacked before they had transferred. That could explain why Dazai-san 2.0 looks so beat up.
“What if they attack us-” Tail fluff asked.
“Apparently they think of it as showing how Ua’s crisis management is as solid as a rock by holding the sports festival. The security will be strengthened five times this year than any years, above all, our sports festival is a huge chance-”
After that, Junichiro fell back asleep.
…
Chuuya smiles as Endeavour grits his teeth.
“What do you know about Touya?” Endeavour asked, caution lacing his tone.
“First born, had an amazing fire quirk, top of his classes, and dead.” Chuuya said nonchalantly. Chuuya was wearing a mask, in a reporter outfit, the only way to notice his smile was by his eyes. He wore eye contacts and gloves.
“What do you want?” Endeavour asked.
“The truth-”
“5 Million Yen.”
Chuuya pauses, he feels a smile creep up on his face. He giggles before hunching over and cackling.
“Money? Money!?” Chuuya wiped tears from his eyes.
“Ha-h- BAHAHAH!” Chuuya laughed as he walked to Endeavour with the green eyed contacts.
Endeavour nervously looks at the ‘news reporter’. He had made sure that the media had forgotten about his son–.
“Don't bother trying to think about how I found out, Yokohama has a genius hacker.” Chuuya said, turning to Endeavour. How funny, who thought this man who was so stoic in photos could make such a distraught expression? He looked pale and his flames were dying down.
“Yokohama?” Endeavour asked, choosing his next words carefully.
“I’ll be back.” Chuuya said, looking at the CCTV footage.
“Lazy, clean up the footage,” He said to the surveillance camera.
….
“So troublesome–” Katai mumbled, typing away.
“KATAI! WHY ARE YOUR DISHES PILING UP!?”
“Kunikida found me…” Katai groaned.
…
Chuuya returns to the apartment and pulls up his laptop, he takes off his disguise and enters the kitchen, opening a wine bottle and pouring himself a glass. His phone rings and rings.
“THIS IS ME CHUUYA!!!!! ANSWER!!” Dazai’s voice is the ringtone unfortunately.
He taps the answer button, connecting the phone to the speaker.
“What d'ya want, mackerel?” Chuuya asked, sitting down at the couch, placing his wine glass down.
“Endeavour?” Dazai asked.
“He gave me 5 MIllion Yen to silence me.” Chuuya laughed.
“Okay, now I have new intel,” There was shuffling, probably Dazai was still in his bed.
“Spill,” Chuuya was opening a new vlog site, he began typing something, a report to Mori.
“So we know how Endeavour has been reigning king of the second place medal. Turns out there’s a new guy, didn’t see him last time. His name is Hawks, his name was really hard to uncover Chuuya. But don't worry, after making Atsushi work for 12 hours, we found his name!” Dazai said nonchalantly.
“Don't overwork your subordinates.” Chuuya said, a light tone of upset and anger.
“Don’t worry, he and Atsushi took turns,”
"And by he you mean Ryuunosuke?”
“Oh chibi you wound me! ”
Chuuya rolls his eyes and continues typing at lightning speed, anger seeping into his words. How disgusting this hero is, but he has no place to say anything. His hands were stained with blood, black, red and all kinds of things he has done. He has held bullets and used his ability to kill hundreds- thousands.
“Oi Dazai.” Chuuya said, he stopped typing for a bit. Dazai hums through the call.
“Why me? Why not you, you’d get the job done much easier after all,” Chuuya asked.
“Oh! Because I’m still recovering from your bullets!”
Chuuya was quiet, and Dazai knew something was up.
“Is something wrong, Chuuya?”
“Dazai. Find more about this Hawks guy.” Chuuya starts typing once more, frowning and Dazai laughs.
…
Junichiro had left class without Kenji, Kenji said something about bonding with other people, so he joined Midoriya and the other students. Junichiro walked through the hall, gripping his phone, earpieces in. he walked silently, not looking up. He looked down to the floor, staring at his shoelaces and he reached the rooftop– only to see a purple haired boy.
“A-ah! Sorry!” Junichiro apologised.
“Uh… no worries…” The purple haired boy mumbled.
“Didn’t I meet you in the hallways the other day?” Junichiro asked, tilting his head.
“You’re the one who was walking to the halls to eat?” The boy asked.
“Yeah..”
The two of them stand in front of each other. Junichiro nervously chuckles as the purple haired boy glances and sighs.
“Wanna join?”
Junichiro hesitantly nods. He walks closer to the other boy, closing the rooftop door Junichiro stands a few good feet away from the purple haired boy.
“My name is Junichiro Tanizaki-Nakahara… people usually call me Nakahara,” Junichiro says to the purple haired boy.
“Hitoshi Shinsou, class 1-C.” The other says.
“Oh. Hi,” Junichiro said.
“Hm,”
The two of them sat in silence. They stayed that way, Junichiro just listened to his music, staring at the view of Musufatsu. Junichiro sat in silence and they were quiet.
Silence is scary with people you dont know.
…
Midoriya, Iida and Uraraka were getting ready to go to lunch before realising that Kenji was talking to Junichiro with a different dialect– most probably the Yokohaman dialect. Kenji said something and Junichiro sighed, only patting Kenji's head and smiling fondly.
“Hi! May I eat lunch with you guys today?” Kenji waved eagerly.
Midoriya paused, however, uraraka eagerly nodded.
“Mhm! You should join us- Nakahara-kun!” Uraraka nodded.
“Call me Miyazawa! I’m not used to people calling me by my other name!” Kenji smiled.
The four of them walk to the canteen before Midoriya suddenly pauses and turns to the rest.
“Uh… Why did you become a pro-hero, Uraraka-san?”
“Hmm-! Um, thats because of…” Uraraka was flustered but she tried to steel herself. “Money”
‘How ‘honourable’ Dazai-san said some just do it for money.’ Kenji thought to himself. ‘But she doesn’t seem the type to become a hero for greed…’
“Money!?” That earned a surprised yell from Iida and Midoriya
“To boil it down simply- yes!” Uraraka’s cheeks were flushed with embarrassment. “Sorry its not as admirable as your motivations!”
“Uh… you don't seem like the type to be a hero for greed..” Kenji spoke up.
“My family owns a construction company but we haven't gotten any work at all. So, we’re flat broke…” Uraraka confessed.
“Construction?” The three of them mumbled.
“Oh! With her quirk, if it gets licensed it will bring costs down right?” Midoriya asks.
“She could make any raw material float! No heavy equipment will be required,” Iida chimed in.
"I know! That's what I've been telling my dad since I was little but..." she paused for a while. "But dad says he would be happier if I achieved my dreams"
Kenji didn’t budge.
”I’ll definitely become a hero and make money, and finally let my parents have it easy!” She was determined. That’s all she needs.
‘She doesn't want money for greed. She needs money for loved ones,’ Kenji thought. She reminds him of someone.
He was broken out of his thoughts by Iida clapping. “Bravo! Uraraka-kun! Bravo!” He reminds Kenjji of Kunikida-san…
“Ke-” Midoriya turned his attention to Kenji before boisterous laughter echoed from a distance.
“Young Midoriya is HERE!”
“Wahhh suugee! He’s buff!” Kenji exclaimed. There stood the number one hero, All Might!
“All Might?” Midoriya asked.
“Lunch! Wanna eat together?” He looks like Haruno-san asking Naomi-san to eat lunch…
“He’s like a maiden!”
“I’d love to!”
…
“Finally! We can go home!” Junichiro cheered quietly and Kenji laughed with him. Someone opened the door to see a large crowd of students standing in front of their class. Students from other classes, all here to watch Class 1-A from the outside.
“What business do you have with 1-A?” Kunikida-lookalike asked. Iida was it? His name?
Junichiro almost dropped his phone from the sudden confrontation of students. Kenji blinked innocently.
“Scouting out the enemy, small fry,” The explosive one smirked, very quickly.
“We’re the ones who made it out of the villain attack, They probably want to check us out before the sports festival,”
Junichiro peeked out from his bag, noticing the commotion.
“That’s Kacchan in neutral,” Broccoli said.
‘NOT HELPING!!?’ Junichiro inwardly screeched.
“There’s no point in doing stuff like that. Out of my way, extras!” Explosive yells.
“Stop calling people 'extras' just because you don't know them!" Kunikida-lookalike scolded him.
“I came to see what the famous class 1-A was like, but you seem pretty smug,” Junichiro saw Shinsou. Oh. Oh no. “Are all students in the hero course like this?”
Hearing him say words made the Explosive guy more agitated while the others tried to deny the accusation.
“Seeing something like this makes me feel disillusioned,” Shinsou says, annoyed and a small hint of anger in his voice. “There are a few people who enrolled in general studies or other courses because they didn’t make it into the hero course. Did you know that?” yep, it was a small hint of anger and annoyance. Definitely annoyed. "The school has left those of us a chance. They are going to consider our transfer into the hero course according to the outcome of the sports festival.”
Kenji had undermined what this was. Afterall he has seen these sorts of things just months ago.
“Scouting out the enemy?” Shinsou scoffed. “At least, I came to say even if you are in the hero course, if you get too carried away, then I’ll sweep your feet from under you. I came with a declaration of war.” Shinsour says, not missing a beat.
“he‘s gutsy…” Junichiro whispered while the other Class 1-A members screeched.
“The new ones from Yokohama.” The group of students turned to Kenji and Junichiro. Junichrio had took a step to get closer to Kenji.
“so , you’re the infamous transfer students?” Shinsou had looked at them. He looked at Junichiro, no hint of recognition painting his face.
‘HE HATES ME!’
“You two look rather normal for people from Yokohama. Usually those people are miserable, no?” A student asked
“Kenji!” Junichiro lightly whispered.
“I’m sorry, I may be one of the minority in Yokohama, but that doesn't make me special. Anyone can do what they want if they work hard. I’m sure you all can do the same too. I live by one moral by my family. ‘Be undefeated by the rain’.” Kenji smiled, placing a hand on his chest, eyes closed as he delivered.
“Tcch!” the explosive guy clicked his tongue and stormed off.
“Wait a minute, Bakugou!” actually red hair stops him.
“What are you gonna do about all this? Its your fault everyone hates us now!”
“It doesn’t matter.” The explosive guy growled.
“Huh!?”
“It doesn’t matter as long as you stand at the top!”
“So manly and simple!”
Junichiro had held Kenji’s hand as he manoeuvred through the crowd of students, keeping his head down and muttering small sorrys as he rushed through the crowd.
“He’s egoistical, like Akutagawa-san…” Junichiro mumbled as they walked home.
“But Akutagawa-san is egotistical because he wants Dazai-sans approval right?” Kenji asked.
“Yeah..” Junichiro smiled softly at Kenji, gently ruffling his hair.
…
Chuuya now wears his news reporter outfit and he uses his ability to climb the side of the building.
“Today’s target, you.” He opens the window silently.
He walks through the halls and finds the office of the Number 3 hero. He knocks on the door, pulling his mask up.
Hawks opens the door, a smile on his face.
“Chisinau right?” Hawks asks.
“Hawks I’m guessing?”
…
Chapter 3: blood for blood
Summary:
“The Sport Festival is broadcasted. That means anyone can watch, including the heroes and villains as they call it. While it may be the Hunting Dogs duty to handle the League of Villains, it doesn’t mean that the other members must be in danger. I’m assigning Suehiro Tecchou to you.” Ango spoke clearly and hung up.
“Hey, does anyone know Suehiro Tecchou?” Chuuya asked the two of them.
“Oh he beat me up at the airport!” Kenji nodded. Junichiro snapped his head so fast, eyes looking so concerned.
“But don't worry I beat him back up!”
“I don't think that’s the point-”
+ Junichiro learning how to beat up ppl from the port Mafia executive
Chapter Text
…
Junichiro had collapsed onto the apartment floor once more, trying to catch his breath. Chuuya stood before him, unbothered at all.
“Why am I the only one training with you…?” Junichiro asked, slowly standing back up.
“Because Kenji is indestructible, you suck at fighting.” Chuuya stated bluntly.
“So rude!” Junichiro groaned.
Kenji was eating some food, just looking at them training. He was imitating some of the moves.
“Also by the way kid, dont go for their windpipe.” Chuuya grumbled, rubbing where his windpipe was. Earlier on, Junichiro had snuck up behind Chuuya and grabbed him by the neck, fingers pressing his windpipe.
“Why?” Junichiro asked. As far as he knew, he had always gone for their windpipe. He did the same with the blond girl from the Port mafia.
“Unless you wanna be responsible for murder. When you want to immobilise your enemy, or lets say catch them off guard, yes then you can go for their windpipe– but that means there’s an intention to kill.” Chuuya explained.
“Going for the sides of the neck, where blood flows cuts blood flow, that is what makes them lightheaded and pass out.”
Junichiro nodded, flexing his knuckles again, getting in stance. He was wearing a simple loose neck white tee-shirt and the black straps of a binder shown. He lets his fists. Chuuya wore the same thing, without the binder but with bandages around his knuckles.
“Alright, review again.” Chuuya narrowed his eyes and motioned Junichiro to get closer.
Junichiro was quick, ducking low and aiming for Chuuya’s chest before opting to sweep him off his feet. Chuuya saw through this and kicked Junichiro’s stomach before it could happen. Junichiro coughed before getting back up and tackling Chuuya, before he dissipated to the green flecks of snow. Chuuya kicked himself back up before looking around. He kicked behind him and Junichiro hit his back against the wall.
“Ow!” Junichiro mumbled, rubbing his neck.
“Are you good to continue?” Chuuya asked.
“Yea give me a while…” Junichiro mumbled, standing back up.
Junichiro had stayed slumped against the wall. He kept rubbing his neck. He slowly stood up and put his fists back up.
“Good! Keep the spirit. Again.”
…
Later, after an extensive shower, Junichiro wore the baggiest hoodie he had in his closet that day. The straps by his neck are gone.
“Tea?” Chuuya asked, watching as the young boy sat at the table, putting his head on the table, sighing.
“No thank you…” Junichiro mumbled.
Kenji had entered the room with his homework.
“Chuuya-san! Chuuya-san! Help me, please!” Kenji said, pointing to the maths words on his paper. Chuuya blinked as he looked at the paper.
Well he didn't go to school either. The only thing he knew for maths was how to calculate wine prices and mafia taxes. Maybe if he views it that way it’d make this question easier…
Junichiro had looked up and held out his hand, offering to help. Junichiro sat back up and stretched. He took the pen from Kenji and explained in the simplest way possible. Chuuya himself ended up listening in, forgetting about the tea he made for Junichiro.
“That's why the
x
is
ab
square plus
bc
square. That means cb is x-” Junichiro explained.
“Why is the concept called Pythagoras?” Kenji asked.
“Some guy found it I guess?” Junichiro shrugged.
“Why does this bastard get a whole maths concept named after him?” Chuuya asked, pinching the bridge of his nose.
“How am I supposed to know I wasn’t born 1800 hundred…” Junichiro mumbled.
“But Bram-chan was!” Kenji pointed out.
“Back to maths please…”
Chuuya had excused himself when he received a call from Ango. He picked up the phone and let the green haired man speak.
“The Sport Festival is broadcasted. That means anyone can watch, including the heroes and villains as they call it. While it may be the Hunting Dogs duty to handle the League of Villains, it doesn’t mean that the other members must be in danger. I’m assigning Suehiro Tecchou to you.”
Ango spoke clearly and hung up.
The conversation drifted again. Kenji managed his homework and Junichiro was given tea from Chuuya, despite the boy’s small pleas.
“Keep up the good work, kid,” Chuuya says, drinking from a glass of wine.
Junichiro smiles, a small tint of pin on his cheeks, flustered from the praise. “It’s nothing…” he mumbles, taking a small sip from his cup. Kenji was asleep on the seat next to him, dinner eaten, not a crumb left.
“I’m serious, you’re a quick learner. I don’t know, but your skills are kinda wasted in the Agency,” Chuuya says. “It’s more suited for the Mafia, but I won’t bother ya about it. Boss might though,”
Junichiro purses his lips and plays with the ends of his hair.
…
It was a Saturday, which meant lunch as a family. Junichiro wore his usual attire, a white sweater with a loose v-neck, binder straps seen and red hoodie tied around his waist. Kenji in his white tee-shirt and long sleeved black undershirt. He had a blue overall and a straw hat to top it all off– oh and slippers! CHuuya wore his usual suit and the coat over his shoulder. He was shorter than Junichiro but taller than Kenji, he looks as young as the both of them.
They walk into a diner, a quiet and empty diner that sells food. Lots of it.
Kenji sat down in one of the booths, Chuuya following in suit, Junichiro wiping the table with wet wipes. “What are you doing-?” Chuuya asks.
“I don't know if they clean it…”
“I-”
“Food!”
The three of them order their food, Junichiro listening to music and Kenji talking to Chuuya. Chuuya half-listened to Kenji, mostly angrily typing on his phone.
“Tecchou-san!” Kenji waved to the tall man approaching them, he didn’t wear his hunting dog uniform, instead, he wore a simple white button up and a flannel over it. Chuuya blinked i pure confusion. He didn’t take this guy for a flannel type.
“Ah, hello.” The man waved, bowing a little. He had a new piercing, the bell from that white haired hunting dog– oh. He died right? Last Chuuya heard.
“Hello,” Junichiro waved.
“You wear flannels?” Chuuya asks, that wasn't supposed to be his question. The dark brown haired man nods as he takes a seat, putting his haversack down. The Hunting Dog nods. There is a noticeable scar by the side of his eye.
“Did I give you that?” Kenji asks, pointing to the scar.
“Yes, do not worry,” Tecchou nods.
The four of them look like a normal family.
“Anyways in terms of family here, this is your uncle guys,” Chuuya says.
“Yay! I beat up my uncle!” Kenji clapped.
The four of them ate quietly, Junichiro just eating, leaving his headphones by the side. Kenji had fallen asleep after finishing his food. Chuuya had half eaten his food and began furiously typing to the others in the Mafia. Tecchou was adding salt to his cake.
“That’s salt…” Junichiro mumbled.
“Mhm, can you pass me the chilli?”
“No… don’t disgrace the cake that way…” Junichiro mock cries, holding the chilli bottle almost in pain.
“Just pass it over, please,” Tecchou nods.
“No! Chuuya-san! He want’s to add chilli to his strawberry shortcake!” Junichiro screeches, making Chuuya look up.
“Yeah no,” Chuuya says, kicking the hunting dog under the table.
…
Bakugou watched the four of them, they looked nothing alike. But that’s that, they look nothing alike. Only the shy Nakahara and his loud father shared the same hair colour. The face tattoo guy was weird beyond comprehension, wearing a bell as an earring like some fashion statement. Farm boy just slept.
Bakugou knew they weren’t related. Shy and Farm boy were adopted by Grump. He didn’t know who the face tattoo was, but Shy explained that it was his adoptive uncle. Face tattoo was enjoying strawberry shortcake with chilli…
“Alright let’s get going, Tecchou, get Kenji,” Grump said. Bakugou watched the four of them walk away. Shy wearing headphones, Farm boy sleeping on face tattoo’s back.
Bakugou didn’t like the feeling he got watching them. This wasn’t a family– yet it was a perfect one at that too. Bickering, yelling yet soft actions. Ugh! This doesn’t make sense! They don’t see danger like the Hero Commision had been feeding into their minds.
…
A few days later
Kenji and Junichiro had changed into their gym uniforms. Junichiro had rolled up his sleeves, adding more pins to his hair. Kenji had only taken some of the pins and put them in his own hair. “Let's share good luck!” Kenji just smiled as Junichiro just smiled back.
In the waiting room. Junichiro just sat down under his locker, wrapping his wrist in muscle tape, adding some bandages to his knuckles.
“Okay here me out, kid,” Chuuya said the night before, he was putting ice in a packet before handing it to Junichirio.
“Okay?”
“Your fists are the weakest shit I’ve ever seen, secure your wrist with muscle tape, Tecchou will show you how to do it later, and your knuckles too. Also remember-”
“No windpipe yeah…”
“Everyone, I wish you all the best! Have fun and I hope to see you all on the field!” Kenji laughed happily.
“Everyone! Are you ready!?” Iida asked. “We will be entering soon!” he yelled.
“Y-yeah!” Junichiro yelled, voice wavering
‘He’s shaking!’ most of the class thought.
“Midoriya.” Kenji heard the half and half boy say.
“Todoroki-kun? What is it?” Midoriya asks. Kenji listened in, all while Junichiro shook like a leaf.
“Looking at things objectively, I’m stronger than you,” Todoroki said.
Junichiro now turned to look at the commotion. What an asshole…
“”H-huh!? Y-yeah!” Midoriya didn’t know what to respond to- I mean who would?
“But… All Might has his eyes on you, doesn't he? I’m not going to pry. But I’m gonna beat you.” Todoroki said, a tone of pure determination.
“Oh? Is the best in class making a declaration of war?” Kaminari asked.
“We’re not here to make friends.” Todoroki said with an air of sheer cold and ice. “So what does it matter?”
“Let me tell the story of our dear friend,” Kenji began.
“Is this about-” Junichiro wanted to ask.
“My friend is no longer with us. His name was Jouno,”
“Yep, about the guy that Tecchou was talking about…” Junichiro mentally facepalmed.
“Jouno-san was very effective, he was straightforward, he was smart and a person with no flaws or cracks. But he was a few. He was blind, and he didn’t want friends, not at all. Everyone misunderstands Jouno-san, he is cold, but deep down, he is kind. I believe you are like that too, Todoroki-kun,” Kenji said, placing a hand on Todorki’s shoulder.
Todoroki stared at Kenji with an annoyed expression, slapping his hand away.
…
“HEY!” Kenji watched a banana-peel head do the announcement. The first year stage was full to the brim with people. The audience was huge! Woah!
“Pay attention, audience! Swarm, mass media! The UA sports festival is about to begin! Are you ready!?”
Kenji wasn't paying any attention to the announcement, but he heard the name of their class, walking and holding his head high up. There was multiple cheers from the crowd as the other class got introduced as well.
“KENJIIIIIII! JUNICHIROOO!” Kenji and Junichiro turned to where they saw Chuuya wearing a white turtleneck with a black leather jacket, wearing his hat and cheering loudly. Tecchou was wearing his flannels, but he was waving with a soft smile on his face.
Kenji waved back as Junichiro smiled widely.
“Time for the player pledge!” a female walked onto stage and Junichiro had covered kenji’s eyes while closing his own as well.
“Junichiro-”
“It’s like if Ranpo-san meets Poe-san!” Junichiro whispered as Kenji kept his eyes closed.
“Quiet everyone!” The woman yelled to the audience. “Representing the students is Bakugou Katsuki from Class 1-a!”
“That boom noom guy?” Kenji asked, eyes stil closed.
Kaminari and Kirishima snickered a little.
“I’ll pledge…. That I’ll be number one!” Bakugou said proudly.
‘Of all things…’
…
“Running!?” Junichiro whined as Kenji warmed. He was bouncing, and worst of all-? He was wearing his slippers…
“Don’t worry Junichiro! I’ll carry you,” Kenji said, picking Junichiro up and placing him on his back.
“I’ll watch your back,” Junichiro smiled.
“So we got the green bitch to do some digging,” Chuuya said to Junichiro.
“Green bi-”
“Ango.”
“Ah. What did he say?” Junichiro asked.
“The first round will be running.”
“NOO!”
“START!” the woman said and Kenji sprinted, Junichiro had activated his ability and caused some of the students to pause from the confusion of the change of scenery.
“Sorry, but…” Todoroki had used the ice.
“Kenji up!” The illusion faltered, Kenji did just that, jumping high and sliding onto the ice.
“Naive, Todoroki-san!” Momo yelled.
“I won’t let you go that easily, half and half bastard!” Bakugou yelled.
“We’re catching up!” Kenji joined in, bright smile outshining most.
Todoroki had prepared another assault, but a huge robot sent him flying.
“These robots, Chuuya-san said something about robots at the entrance exam. I’ll handle them.” Junichiro said and Kenji threw Junichiro to one of the robots. Junichiro had grabbed a fistful of wires and tore the wires at the exposed part. He opened the control panels and jammed the wires deep inside.
He jumped back down where Kenji caught him effortlessly and continued running.
“Looks like the Nakahara brothers are striking perfectly with balancing each other out. But remind me, Eraserhead, does carrying each other count?” present Mic asked.
“It does, but because most people wouldn’t think of it, they do it nonetheless. People who follow the rule and those who abide by it are different.” Aizawa-sensei said.
“KENJI LEFT!” Junichiro yelled as he swerved left, avoiding another attack from the robots.
“If you fall, you’re out! If you dont wanna fall, then crawl! It’s “The Fall”,” present mic announced.
“WHO NAMED THESE!?” A student shrieked.
Junichiro had noticed it. This wouldn’t be good. How were they going to–
“JUNICHIRO, CATCH!” Kenji yells, throwing Juichiro across.
“KENJJII!”
…
“Midoriya Izuku has made a big splash!” The announcer went on and on. Junichiro fell on the floor face flat while Kenji was just brushing off the mud and dirt off him.
“Nakahara, and… Nakahara… you two worked so well together, who knew… uh… Nakahara was so good at the robot thing! You two Nakahara’s work great together!” Kirishima applauded them. Junichiro had groaned and Kenji picked him back up.
“Thank you, Kirishima-kun,” Kenji smiled as he dragged Junichiro away.
…
Junichiro watched as everyone began conversing with each other. He was slung around Kenji. He sigh as he tugs at his pe uniform jersey collar. He was uncomfortable with the tension. While they may have ranked 23rd and 24th, everyone viewed them warily. If only Present Mic hadn’t announced their birthplace out loud!
“Wow! Who knew the transfers from Yokohama would have made it?”
“Stupid stupid stupid…” Junichiro mumbled. Kenji turned his attention to the billboard, he was looking through the ranks. 23 is a pretty average number. Junichiro had just gently placed a hand on Kenji’s shoulder, trying to soothe the nerves of his own and his ever smiling co-worker.
“I’ll make sure we get a very hearty dinner this time…” Junichiro smiled as Kenji beamed.
“The top 45 who made it through will be continuing to the next round!” Midnight said. Everyone had begun gathering around her as he gave out the next set of instructions. “The real battle starts here! Give it your all!”
“Now then, here is the second game, Cavalry Battle!” Midnight announced.
“Teams…” Junichiro mumbled, looking at the screen nervously. It’s already bad enough they got into 23 and 24 with people not liking them for making so– but to be announced from Yokohama. Anyone with the right mind would do anything but do that.
"Let me explain. The participants can form teams of two to four people as they wish. It's essentially the same as a regular cavalry battle, but one thing that's different is..." Midnight gave a smirk as she turned to the students. "Based on the results of the last game each person has been allocated a point value."
“Based on the ranks?” Kenji mumbled to himself.
“A point-based system just like the entrance exam, huh?” Sero commented.
“That’s easy to understand!” Kaminari nodded.
“You guys don’t hold back, even though I’m talking, huh?!” Oh she looks annoyed. “Yes that’s right! And the points assigned go up by 5 starting from the bottom. So, the 42nd place would get 5 points and the 41st would get 10,” Midnight explained.
“23 times 5? 24 times 5? That would be…” Junichiro mentally calculating. “115 points and 120, that means our total would be 235…” he blinks in realisation.
“Midoriya-kun would get–” Kenji asked Junichiro who whipped his head alongside other students.
“10 million, huh?” Some whispered.
“In other words if you take down the first-place team player’s team… you can stand at the top no matter what!”
Junichiro noticed how thick the air had become. Everyone was already having eyes on the prize (that being Midoriya’s points.)
“Should we grab his points?” Kenji asked.
“No, too risky.” Junichiro mumbled.
“That’s right. It’s survival of the fittest! It's an incentive for those at the bottom to overthrow the ones at the top! Izuku Midoriya, who placed first in the qualifier, is worth 10 Million points!” Midnight said, almost too gleefully… “ Each team is worth the total of its members’ points, so the riders will wear a headband with that number on their foreheads. Teams will try to grab each other's headbands until time runs out, and try to keep as many points as possible. Stolen headbands must be worn from the neck up.Even if your headband gets stolen or if your team falls, you’re not out!”
‘Riders??? What is this Akutagawa and Atsushi situation!?’ Junichiro inwardly screamed in his head.
“Oh so cool! We get to wear a bandana!” Kenji smiled.
15 minutes…
…
“Dazai-san, would they have to separate?” Atsushi was looking at the TV, keeping his eyes on Kenji and Junichiro. Kyouka was also watching– the whole agency really.
“The best strategy would be to do so. If they stay together, they wouldn’t fit in any team. Yes their abilities would be most compatible together, but here they only want the strongest.” Dazai explains, watching as a group of people surround the top few, but not the first one. In a small group, one of them grabbed Kenji and ran. Junichiro felt out of pocket, but was approached by someone else.
“See. They understood the assignment.” Dazai smiled.
“I don’t know about you, but seeing Kenji run with slippers with Junichiro on his back was quite amusing to see,” Yosano said.
“They did manage to draw themself in a pretty average place, so to not draw attention. If that loudmouthed guy didn’t say they were from Yokohama people wouldn’t have been as wary to approach them. That means there’s more eyes on them,” Ranpo sighs.
“Tanizaki-kun’s wrist and hand are wrapped. I can assume he has been practising using his fists rather than strangling people,” Kyouka said out of pocketly.
“Ah! That brute of a chibi must be training him!” Dazai whines, doing a dramatic pose only to be hit in the head by Kunikida.
“Focus!”
…
“Time Up! Now then, it's time to get started,” Midnight announced.
Junichiro was standing awkwardly, holding up an angry and loud blonde. (he replaces Sero here). He glanced at his brother who was beaming brightly, holding up the winner of the first place.
“Now, time to raise those battle cries! It’s time for UA’s bloody cavalry battle!”
‘BLOODY!?’
Junichiro gulped, earning a shrug from Mina, who gave a reassuring gleeful grin.
“Loosen up, Nakahar! No one is killing anybody!” Mina grins.
“I’LL KILL THEM ALL!”
“Uh…. not everyone is killing anybody?”
Junichiro grimaced as they began. He truly wasn’t built for running OR carrying. The only people he’s carried were Kyouka or Kenji, because of their small structure! This guy was worth a thousand kilograms! Wait-that’s overestimating it! But maybe a hundred kilograms of muscle and ego!?
“Nakahara-kun, are you okay?” Junichiro spaced out, blinking back to hear Bakugou screeching and Kirishima laughing.
“Mhm, im okay,” Junichiro smiled.
“You don't
look
okay,” Mina whispers.
“I never am, Mina-san…” Junichiro laughs before they storm off to fight people–
They stormed off alright, headed by Midoriya first. He activated his ability, the small specks of snowfall falling as some of the numbers on the headbands changed. Albeit slightly but he did so. If for some minute- he can trick people’s minds, he could control the chessboard.
…
Chuuya watched the small specks fall from the outskirts of the field. He holds his hand out to catch one. He looked at it, and it truly did look like snowflakes. The speck had then disappeared, and Tecchou–
“What are you doing…” Chuuya asked.
“I’m watching…”
Tecchouo was using binoculars to watch the spectators box.
“What are you doing, my kids are down there, those i don't know-”
“Shouta Aizawa, he got in my way before.” Tecchou narrowed his eyes.
…
The cavalry battle was very intense, after the whole event, Junichiro did what he did best, separate himself from his group and fall onto the ground. Kenji’s slippers were heard as he walked over to Junichiro and patted his head.
“Mhngh,” Junichiro grunted, giving a small thumbs up.
“Hahaha! It was really fun! Your trick was really good, Junichiro.” Kenji said, sitting next to his brother.
Now, it was downtime, most of the students had left to get food or water. Junichiro, having already overexerted himself from the fight earlier, stayed on the ground. Kenji lifted him up without hesitation and brought him to the seats, where Junichiro sat down and fell asleep.
Junichiro sat himself up, looking to see Kenji drinking milk beside him. He turned to the scoreboard. Ah, his team came in second.
“You’re in, Ken,” Junichiro lightly pat Kenji’s head with a smile.
“Mh! I wonder who we’d fight! I hope it's someone fun!” Kenji smiles.
“Remember, we’d have to…
average
.” Junichiro turned to Tecchou who was using binoculars on some of the heroes.
“What is Tecchou-san doing…”
…
During the one hour lunch break, Junichiro had eaten a sandwich and Kenji drank milk cartons. They thought it’d be a peaceful lunch until some of their classmates came to their table.
“That was so cool, nakahara, the way you held us up during Kaminari’s attack!” Uraraka said.
“It was nothing! I have carried much heavier things before!” Kenji smiled.
Junichiro had picked up his tray to excuse himself.
“Nakahara- if I may, I realised that you aren’t the most combative during our training sessions, you usually just tap out or sit at the side lines. Or if we’re lucky, you use your quirk,” Iida said, raising a hand to catch Junichiro’s attention.
“And today, you came with wrapped wrists and knuckles. Are you truly that skilled?” iida asked.
“Ah. I just don’t like fighting. I find it tedious. I wrapped my knuckles in case I advanced to the last round…” Junichiro said, scratching his head.
“Mhm! Junichiro is super cool! Back at home, we have our fathers friend's colleague teach him martial arts!” Kenji beamed.
“Kunikida-san taught me the basics… Dad taught me the rest,” Junichiro smiled.
Most of the time was spent conversing. Junichiro had noticed Midoriya and Todoroki gone from the lunch crowd.
“Sorry, I’ll excuse myself to the bathroom-”
…
Tecchou had left Chuuya to fulfill his part of the mission. He wore his Hunting Dogs uniform as he walked through the deserted halls of-
“What did you want to talk about?” Tecchou immediately went against the wall, hand by the sword hilt.
“I was overpowered, so much so I broke my pledge.” Tecchou took a peek, he saw a broccoli head and a peppermint. Hey wouldn't those two food combinations– NO! Focus Suehiro.
"Your last sprint, I felt something from it. It was the similar feeling I felt that I experienced from watching All Might's full power up close." The peppermint said.
‘The Number 1?’
Tecchou thought.
Tecchou looked at them before he remembered the files he read about some of them from HQ.
‘Todoroki Shoto, son of the Number 2 Hero. Shows clear signs of being abused. Midoriya Izuku, born quirkless, quirk ‘manifested’ later than most.’
Tecchou replayed in his mind.
“It means I felt something similar from you, Midoriya, are you-” Todoroki was cold, making the other shiver with fear. “All Might’s secret love child or something?”
“EARTH TO SUEHIRO! GET MOVING!”
Tecchou was broken from the conversation from Teruko.
“Give me 10 minutes…”
Tecchou whispered back as he listened in.
“That’s now how it is! Why do you think that of me?” The other kid asked, and he was bad at hiding secrets.
“Since you said ‘that’s not how it is’, then I’m assuming there’s some connection between the both of you that you can’t talk about, right?” Huh, quite good for someone his age. “Endeavor's my old man. I’m sure you know that he’s been stuck as the number two hero,” Todoroki said.
‘Jee I wonder why.’
“If you have something from the number 1 hero, then I have all the more reason to beat you.” Todoroki said. “To him, All Might is an eyesore because he knew the fact that he couldn't beat All Might, no matter how hard he tries. So, he moved onto his next plan.” The peppermint said so bitterly, his voice carrying pain and he sounded choked up.
Tecchou saw a green speck falling from the ceiling and saw Junichiro at the other end, listening in too. Tecchou did a small casual salute as Junchiro did the same.
“You've heard of Quirk marriages, right? That thing that became a problem for the second and third generation after superpowers appeared. Choosing a spouse based only on strengthening your own Quirk and passing it onto your children, forcing people into marriage." Peppermint continued. Tecchou sighed.
That
was declared illegal years ago, why are they still doing it now?
Tecchou looked to Junichiro who looked
angry
at the very thought, the broccoli looked…horrified.
“My old man is accomplished an with money.” Peppermint continued. “He won over my mother’s relatives easilyand got hold of my mother’s quirk. He is trying to fulfil his own desire by raising me to be a hero that will surpass All Might.” Todoroki continued.
Tecchou had remembered exactly why he was born. His parents had quirks, but they gave birth to someone with an ability, leaving him alone on the streets, wounded and alone. All for the purpose of a better quirk.
“It’s so annoying! I dont want to be a tool for scum like him!” Todorki said with venom lacing his every word. “In my memories- my mother was always crying. ‘Your left side is unsightly,” she said as she poured
boiling
water on me.” Junichiro stifled a gasp. Tecchou has dealt with cases of abuse, this was nothing new. Todoroki had traced the scar on his face.
"Basically, I picked a fight with you to show him what I can do, without using my damn old man's quirk- No! I'll reject him completely by winning first place without using it!" Todoroki's face darkened. Tecchou could feel himself smiling, that will only pull him down.
Midoriya muttered to himself, Junichiro looked back to his watch and turned to look to Tecchou, he did a sign and left. Tecchou did the same back and continued listening.
"I don't care if you can't tell me how you're connected to All Might. However, I will rise above you with just my right side." Todoroki glared, like an animal awaiting to pounce on prey.
"Todoroki-kun, thank you for telling me your story. After hearing that, it seems like my motivation seems trivial compared to yours, but I can't lose either." broccoli was determined, all shown on his face.
"I have to live up to the hopes of those who supported me. That declaration of war you gave earlier, I'll return that. I will beat you, too!"
Tecchou had just decided to leave, there was no more to do anymore. He clicked his sword and walked down the hallway, ignoring the small glance from peppermint.
‘I’m Yokohama Government, they wouldn’t recognise me if they dared.’
Tecchou said to himself.
“Heard that, Chisinau?” Tecchou tapped his head piece.
“HAH! Knew that bastard was no good.”
Chuuya laughed through the headpiece.
“OKAY! NOW LET'S GET BACK TO WORK!”
Teruko shrieked.
Chapter 4: stomps and punches (and family time)

“JUNICHIRO! NOT THE WINDPIPE!” Chuuya yelled from the crowd.
Oh.

Chapter Text
Kenji jogs a round around the canteen, he reaches the main entrance, where he was met again with Junichiro, who was crossing his arms (more like holding himself together)
“How are you doing?” Kenji asks, smiling at the other who was quacking in his shoes.
“Fine, just scared.” Junichiro answered.
Kenji reassures the other with a small smile, which did nothing to ease the others’ tension and worry. The scoreboard was display for everyone to see. He looked to the stands, which was fuller than ever, and Chuuya was holding a sign that could bareilly be seen in the crowd, but Junichiro appreciated the effort.
‘You better not lose.’
Nevermind.
“Now that lunch is over, its time to finally reveal the last game!” Present Mic’s voice echoes through the stage, the crowd cheering loudly in exchange.
"But before that there's good news for all of you who didn't make it to the finals! We've prepared recreational games that everyone can participate in! We've even brought cheerleaders from America to spice things up!"
Then the whole first-year stadium plunged into silence. Junichiro glanced to Kenji who was just looking around, not bothering to pay attention to the announcements.
"Huh?" both Aizawa and Present Mic questioned the crazy situation before them, the Class 1-A girls were now in orange cheerleader uniforms with yellow pompoms.
Junichrio’s hands flew over Kenji’s, hiding his own face in kenji’s hair.
“Huh?”
“Part two of earlier ken,” Junichiro whispered.
Kenji just put his own hands over Junichiros’ who covered his.
They stayed that way until the teachers settled the whole ordeal. After a while, Junichiro was approached by Kirishima who reassured them that it was okay to open their eyes now. Junichiro looke to Midnight, just looking back to the grass once more. Oh why do they wear such…
“Now, lets draw lots and determine your battle opponents!” Midnight announced enthusiastically.
“Um! Excuse me Midnight-sensei. I’m withdrawing.” The blonde haired student with the tail said, hesitation but a solid resolve in his statement. Others looked to him as if he were crazy.
“Ojiro-kun why?” Midoriya asked. Junichiro looked to the other, he had seen how he had been working hard from the days he stayed back in school, the way he would look fatigued during recess– just to withdraw?
“I barely remember anything from the cavalry battle, i think it was that guys quirk,” Ojiro said, pointing to Shinsou, who paid no mind to the commotion and the stares thrown in his direction. “I know this is foolish to waste this rare chance, but– everyone here competed using their all! And I cant be up there with everyone without really knowing what happened,” Ojiro explained.
Junichiro’s colours shifted, he saw the boy in new light. Right and wrong. This boy knew right from wrong. Anyone would have taken the chance to become the top few– even if he didnt really work for it. But he didn’t, he knew right from wrong, how to recognise an abi- quirk. A quirk hijacking* too.
“I’m Nigerenki Shoda from Class 1-B, and I would like to withdraw for the same reason. Regardless of ability, dont you think it goes against the goal of this sports festival for those who didnt do anything to get into final round?” Another voiced his opinion, not hesitating to raise his own hand after Ojiro did.
Kenji looked at them and smiled brightly, he took Junichiro’s hand into his own, a warm smile passed to Junichiro, who only smiled back.
“IF thats that, then I withdraw.” Junichiro said, letting go of Kenji’s hand.
Kenji blinked and his lips parted in confusion.
“In terms of stamina, I will not carry on– I wont be able to run another lap or fight another robot- I’m sorry-” Junichiro said.
“”Youthful talk like that is something… I like! Shouda, Ojiro, you’re withdrawals are accepted. Nakahara, yours isnt. Its a matter that the UA teachers want to see your skills!” Midnight smiled, turning to Junichiro whose eyes widened and he gripped the hem of his PE shirt in slight anger.
What doesnt she get- he can’t go on! The more he has to run- to work- he’ll crack-
“Juni.” Kenji just held Junichiro’s hand, snapping him out of all the incoming thoughts that would spiral into a tsunami.
“You are after all, from Yokohama. We would need to see a demonstration of your skills without depending on each other– which brings us to our next event!” Midnight cheered, after turning away from the two of the Nakahara’s.
…
Chuuya broked the board the moment they mentioned te fact that they were from Yokohama, thus why they needed to see-
“Bullshit.” Chuuya seethed, a crowd member stepping away from the ginger who cracked the board so easily.
“Nakahara-san,”
Tecchou’s voice rang through the earpiece.
“Give me good news or I’m getting on the field myself.” Chuuya snarled.
“Ango-kun said to let them participate. The UA staff has indeed said that. If we go against the UA staff
now
, then we have no other way, thus failing the mission.”
Tecchou was eerily calm, but his heavy breathing was something to take note of.
“Are you okay?” Chuuya asked, noticing how the man seemed out of breath.
“Fine.”
…
Juichiro watches the match happen, bouncing his knee as he watch Kenji stp onto the field with Kaminari, a determined smile on his face. Out of pure habit, he starts peeling his lips before Tecchou appear next to him, in hunting dog uniform, although, the cape gone and a flannel thrown over it to look more casual.
“Hello-” Tecchou greeted, the bell earring chime.
“Tecchou-san!” Junichiro just hugs the military officer who just looked purely awkward as the young teen hug him, as though he was his lifeline.
“Uh… hi?” Tecchou said, patting the ginger’s head softly. Some of their classmates notice, but Tecchou looked more of an older brother who didnt like physical touch to them rather than a military officer who wasnt even related to the ginger.
“Ah! You must be Nakahara-kun’s brother!” MIna exclaimed. Junichiro did not budge, clinging onto the older mans frame.
“I’m his uncle,” Tecchou said, just patting the ginger hair.
Junichiro made a meek and small noise, and Tecchou turned to look at the match, Kenji was holding up very very well against the electricity medium blonde. Both were equal in terms of speed– but strength and perception shall always be what Kenji majors.
Kaminari was trying to prevent the other from using his ability, a tactic too common– he’s just wearing himself out.
Kenji stomped and the ground cracked open, the rubble flying around and eventually immobilising the electric bound boy, a proud Kenji smiling, acting as if he didnt prtentially broke the others bones.
“Done!” He cheered.
Tecchou just pats Junichiro’s head, watching the game and turns his attention back to Junichiro– was his shirt wet–
“Hey,” Tecchou effectively peeled the other off and the ginger was sniffling and Tecchou just puts him back into his arms, and turned on his phone.
…
“ANd now! The Yokohaman other half, Junichiro Tanizaki-Nakahara! The illusionist with a weak build!” Present Mic announced, Junichiro just visibly shakes, hugging himself.
“VERSES!”
“The assassin from class 1-B! Pretty things have thorns, you know! From hero course, Ibara Shiozaki!”
Junichiro looks to his opponent. Ahh she is indeed pretty but she looks so scary with her hands in a praying position. She looked like one of God’s messengers– but that is if Junichiro believed in god! He didn’t know what to believe– if the mission was saving Yokohama and the future generations or just making him suffer.
His thoughts arent aligning again- off track again. It smells like oranges.
“Excuse me, please excuse the interruption,” The holy girl said, facing the sound box, to where Junichiro saw
both
his teachers watching him– IS THAT THE OTHER TEACHERS!?
“What do you mean by assassin? Im only here to pursue victory, not to kill my opponent,”
Oh she seems nice…
…
Shiozaki was restless when she saw her opponent. The Nakaharas’ stuck like glue, while Miyazawa-Nakahara was the brawn… Tanizaki-Nakahara was the brains of the two. If she didn’t have to worry about strength, she’d worry about his thinking speed.
“hey , you seem nervous Shizaki!” Tetsutetsu said, sitting next to his friend.
“Ah, I am just worried about my opponent,” Shiozaki answered.
“Oh, the ginger guy? I heard he is really poor at combatant how little he participates in gym classes and all. His quirk is really weak too! He got more points from his written exam thats why he’s still in!” Tetsutetsu said.
‘But it’d be rude to just throw him off th sides. He seems like a truly forbiddable enemy. His hands are wrapped like a boxers, thats not coincidence.’
…
‘Why is she looking at me like that…’ Junichiro shook like a leaf as the green haired girl stared at him.
The battle had started, yet no one was moving.
“UH…. shall I just… step…?” Junichiro meekly asked.
Shiozaki attacked, thorny vines charging for Junichiro, who screamed and ran to avoid them. And to say the least– his gymnastic abilities were superb. He backflipped his way away from the vines. And to hear the crowd was amusing to say the least.
‘Come on Tanizaki-san!’ Kenji cheered in his mind, waving his arms around like a child.
Junichiro didn’t want to fight–
Pure instinct, he’ll say, but something in him snapped a the vines came after him.
Everything made sense. If her quirk was her hair, all he had to do was to close the contact and cut it off. But– if he does that it would destroy her dignity. After all, the hair is a womans crowning-
“Argh dammit!” Junichiro jumped away, barely avoiding the thorns.
Her quirk was her hair, that meant it was heavy but- it can be pulled, it’’d hurt her head so all he had to do was-
Junichiro jumped, but this time jumped onto the vines, which caused the girl falter a little.
Weight.
He ran and jumped onto her, grabbing her neck in his elbow and arms into a choking position, or at least what he thought-- fingers pressed against her windpipe, teh sound of oxygen slowly leaving her body choking on air--
His pupils blown wide.
“Hey go easy on her! She's a girl!”
‘I dont care. All are equal in the eyes of God no?’ Junichiro thought–
“JUNICHIRO! NOT THE WINDPIPE!” Chuuya yelled from the crowd.
Oh.
Oh.
…
“Wow, you lost that game against a girl?” Kaminari asked.
“Well, after all, i am quite weak,” Junichiro said meekly, pressing the ice pack on his head.
“You could have ju-” Others were bombarding him.
“I just couldn’t keep up huh?” Junichiro chuckled.
…
‘Ohhh Tecchou, any day noww.’
Teruko whined.
Tecchour silently removed an air vent cover and climbed down onto the file room. There was a particular file they needed of a certain man. He looked at the tags and silently skimmed through the lines, hand on his sword hilt.
‘All For One.’
Heh.
He takes the file and stuffs it into his pocket.
‘Oi tecchou, incoming.’
Chuuya’s voice warn him, and in split silence, Tecchou are back in the files as a rat and the pro hero walks into the room.
…
The festival carries on, theres unwanted and unneeded drama. Kenji looses against Todoroki. Theres more unneeded drama. Chuuya feels choked, theres too much of nothing. There needs to be something worth seeing– and so far. Nothing.
The only thing that was good of this generation was the two of those kids that withdrew without second hesitation. If tecchou gets away with the file faster it’d make all their lives easier. If these kids would just show their true colours everything would be so soooo much easier.
The games are finishing, and everyone is getting tired. When the festival ends, it’ll be ice cream for everyone. And sleep. Goodness do they need rest– and Kenji needs proper food. He walked to the entrance to pick up his kids– no. its just a mission, he shouldnt be attached and he WONT get attached no matter what. Because thats what he’ll do, commit to his role, not get attached to it. Junichiro walked out with an ice pack on his head and Kenji munching on a granola bar. Junichiro was on Kenji’s back as the latter just walked without a care in the world.
“You two look beat up,” Chuuya smirked.
“Oh really? Didn’t notice,” Junichiro grumbled.
The next two days were off days, so CHuuya had planned nutricioun for kenji and binding schedules for Junichiro. The three were walking to the car before Junichiro paused.
“Where is tecchou?” he asked.
“Yeah where is-”
Tecchou’s loud thunderous footsteps ran towards them he slid to them, holding his duffel bag over his shoulders and wearing his god forsaken flannels. He gave a dopey grin, the bell earring chiming as he smiled. Juncihiro just held out his half drank juice box of orange juice ot the man.
“It tastes like mint for some reason,” He said, the man just takes it and drinks it, smiling at the unique flavour.
“No,” Chuuya grabbed the box and threw it into the bin at th efar corner.
“YOOO GOAL!” The blonde kid that Kenji beat?
“Kaminari!” Kenji waved as the blonde just waved back and got into a car.
The four got into the car, Junichiro just putting the ice pack on his forehead, headphones in. Kenji was happily watching outside the window. Tecchou was reviewing the file he had stolen and CHuuya was driving.
“I’m being Chisinau again tonight,” Chuuya said to the others.
“aight…”
“Hmm,”
“okay- you’ll cook dinner though right?” Kenji asked.
“Yeah, after what Jouno told me about your steak with chocolate syrup, im never letting you near a stove/” Chuuay looked to Tecchou.
“Speaking of which, is Jouno-san doing well?” Kenji turned to Tecchou, who looked up from the file.
“Ah. Jouno is resting as per usual, his legs have not yet made full recovery. He is staying at home,” tecchou said.
“Hey you know, I never really got to really connect with your guy ya know?” Chuuya grinned.
“Jouno doesnt connect easily,” Tecchou said.
“Yea, but warmed up to you pretty well,” Chuuya shrugged.
“I heard they stab each other!” Kenji chimed.
“Oh.”
…
Junichiro was typing his report away on his laptop, a vlog website made by Katai to effortlessly send in reports by making it look like vlogs with a special coding system and code language. For example, ‘students of some sort have shown specific areas of growth and honesty that some other generations did not have’ was ‘the food was so blaaand >:PPP but got better after some time ykwim?? Like i kept eating and all that’.
“Whoever came up with the code system should be fired.” Junichiro groaned, putting the laptop down and looking to the side, where Kenji was tending to a small potted plant.
“Don’t you ever get bored?”
“No!”
Junichiro just lies down on the sofa, listening to the music blaring in his ears. Tecchou walks into the room, sitting onto the floor and putting his files and notebook on the table, now doing work was a rare thing to see Tecchou actually do instead of fighting or making weird food memes. The man wore thick framed glasses that made him look 40 instead of 28.
“Yes?” Tecchou looked to Junichiro who was staring at him.
“Nothing. I feel like you truly miss your husband,” Junichiro said.
“I do,” Tecchou nodded.
…
Chisainau walked into Mirko’s agency, where the pro hero was already waiting with Hawks.
“Hah! You two saw right through me,” The ginger laughed, just adjusting the mask over his face. Feather flew to him, but as it grazed him, they were immediately controlled by gravity.
“Wrong move boyo.”
…

Chapter Text
Kenji of all people was
complaining
and that was saying something. He was complaining about how he saw some streets with poor people begging for money and was upset. He hated poverty. He absolutely hates it!
“I saw heroes just walk past them as if they didnt exist!” Kenji frowned.
Junichiro just nods and sighs, just smiling sadly to the other, just stroking his fingers through his hair and the other just sighs. The two were on the sofa, doing nothing in particular. Junichiro had just helped Kenji through the math homework. Somehting about factorisation and graphs. That reminds him.
“Did we have any homework from Mic?” Junchiro asked, just stroking Kenji’s hair.
“Uhm… no! I would know!” Kenji grinned, baring all teeth.
The two just enjoy each others silences before
Tecchou
walks in.
“I have something,” He said.
“Is it cursed?” Junichiro asked.
“No,”
“Cow?”
“No.”
“Mint with peppercorn?” Kenji asked.
“No,”
“Some weird combination you thought of,” Junichiro nodded.
“No, it’s parcels for each of you from the agency,” Tecchou held out two white big heavy packages and the two of them walk to them. Junichiro shakes his a little, a rattle. Kenji shakes his, silence.
Junichiro looks at how the packaging was really really really really really really really really wrapped. With tape all over and just one sticky note tapes down by tape. ‘For Tanizaki ><’ and ‘For Kenji ^^’ Juncihiro took the boxcutter from Chuuya’s kitchen and cut open Kenji’s package for him, the tape splitting apart and a neatly wrapped box covered in plastic was there, he grave the now safe to open box to kenji, who opened it very gently and found a new set of clothes with Ranpo’s handwriting. Junchiro did the same, he oepend the tape and opened the box to find a fresh set of clothes too. A note in Ranpo’s hand writing. One would expect the eldest detective to have scrawly handwriting, but no, he had really good penmanship, but a really lazy hand.
‘For Tanizaki/Kenji. These are your hero outfits. Soon, you’ll be transferred and offered hero agencies. I know for a fact Tanizaki/you was/were asleep during the briefing and Kenji/you was/were thinking of his/your plants! So listen up lads. I want tanizaki/you to join the gunhead hero agency, since you/tanizaki has gotten more exposure to martial arts, theres a 87% chance that he’d require him/you. Kenji. Hi! You have a 19% chance on getting with the Nighteye agency– butttt. Endeavour has a 92%. Strength.’
Junichiro read it with a slightly perturbed mind. This wasnt good. If Ranpo-san wrote this much without doing small writings means he must have been bargained really well.
‘Your designed are stylised. We got Sigma to do it for both of you. They took into consideration your colour schemes and your fighting styles.’
Junichiro looked to the box and just picked up the mask. A sleek white mask with a hint of Dazai-san. A single smile and eye holes formed. This wont do. He wont use it.
‘Kyouka-chan chose this !! NOT ME TRUST’ Dazai-san’s chicken scrawls covered the sticky note.
The rest was a simple white button up with a red maroony coloured sleeves shirt. Stylised hair clips and cargo pants with a pair of knee high boots held the box in high regard. Fingerless gloves and a belt was also seen. There was something shiny in the box–
“HOLY THEY GAME ME A POCKET KNIFE!” juncihiro said, holding the army swiss knife out and literally beaming.
“Thats a swiss army knife-” Tecchou chimed.
“Hshshshs–”
Kenji looked to his. His signature outfit, the blue overall with the white shirt and black undershirts. Instead– the white shirt was sleeves, and the blue overalls ended by his pants. His new pants were really big baggy cargo pants and he got new slippers! There was a pair of fully covered gloves that covered his lower half of his upper arm. It wasnt easy to tear by the looks of it.
Tecchou just opens his own letter, it was ‘written’ in braille. Ah. His husband.
…
Hawks recognises the black hair and uneven streaks of orange hair. The mask and hat, the hairdo and the checkered black coat with clothes that resembles a reporter in more ways than one. He held a clipboard and a pen. A flip phone in this day and age was unheard of even.
He scanned through the entrance and walked to Mirko’s office after slipping past a few cameras, which was conveniently facing
away
from the reporter. He opened the door and was met with the two pro heroes. Mirko and Hawks standing thre expectantly.
In a split second, the feathers Hawks snuck went straight for the reporter, but the moment it brushed agaisnt him, the featheres were covered in a soft red glow and were lined up neatly infront of the other.
“Wrong move boyo,” Chinisau smiled.
Mirko went after him, but in a split moment, extending a hand, the women is stuck in the air, covered in the same red glow. Intimidation always worked.
‘Ability, For The Tainted Sorrow,’ he heard the same voice in his head just reading for him.
“HAWKS YOU SAID HE HAD NO QUIRK!” Mirko yelled.
“No, I do, or an ability. Oh but Im from Yokohama. I wanna see what prejudice you two hold against it,” Chisinau’s eyes crinkled in a wide grin. Mirko knew this was a trick question, Hawks just tried to analyse this man- but nothing of this man was who he was.
…
Midoriya was at the edge of his seat as he read the new news. Pro Heroes Mirko and Hawks were ambushed by a Yokohaman… could it- no! The Nakaharas’ are really nice and kind people. There were so many yokohamans that could have escaped from their border… but this ambusher…
Pro Hero Hawks and Mirko were able to secure the situation and save the casualties, but the reporter got away. Based on the amount of agencies he ambushed or stole information from, he probably stayed in the north west area. Tahts so far from school! Thats like, an hours worth.
‘Me and Junichiro just live a 45 minute walk from school,”
…
The walk to back to school was ever treacherous and tiring and life sucking and-
“Yay, we’re here!” Kenji beamed, and Junichiro only gave a weak smile in returned.
“Uhuh…” Junichiro just takes out a single earpiece, leaving another in. He opens the flip phone and he dials a number, but doesnt press call. He hesitates for the longest time and just decides to close the flip phone.
Throughout the day, there are many talks and buzzing around the classroom. Kenji is calling Kyouka about the plants. He opens the flip phone again and dials a number, but hesitates again. He wants to, but is he
allowed
to?
Screw it. He presses call and the phone rings. It rings and rings until a young voice answers the phone.
“This is the Cafe Uzumaki-”
“Hey.” Junichiro says, and he hears shuffling, the sound of an older voice complaining gently and Lucy picks up the phone again.
“Tanizak-”
“Shhh, im just calling because i-” ah dang he’s getting all snotty now.
He walks, phone in hand towards the door, giving Kenji a look that says ‘im going to cry and dont look for me’, Kenji only responding with a nod that says ‘aight’. Junichiro holds the phone to his ear again, sitting outside the classroom, crouched down as he held his breath.
“Do you miss Uzumaki-sans coffee– nono, ill read out your daily order for you,”
The foreigner says, her japanese fluet, yet clear parts of her accent shining through.
“Heh,” Junichiro lets out a slightly strained chuckled.
“A cappuccino with a slice of vanilla creme filled puffs, 6 please, and also a black coffee for Naomi,”
“A cappucinno with a slice of vanilla creme filled puffs, 6 please, and also a black coffee for Naomi,”
Junichiro breaks down from the comfort of hearing that order. He crumples on himself, soft sniffs and tears streaking down his face.
“Oi Tanizaki?”
Junichiro just sniffs and wipes his tears.
“I needed that Lucy…”
“Yeah yeah weirdo. Get well soon, all the best, dont die, whatever you say when someone cries,”
The line ends and Junichiro stays outside until Iida, Midoriya and Todoroki walked in.
“Oh, hey guys,” Junichiro smiled, using his ability to hide any sign of crying.
“Good morning Nakahara-kun!” Midoriya greeted back.
…
“Kyouka-chan, have you watered the basils on the roof?” Kenji asked.
“Ah, I’ll do it right now. Oh. Your strawberries look ripe, Its whitish pink,”
“Ah- Kyouka-chan! Dont eat those strawberries yet! They’re not ripe, not yet!”
“Huh.”
Kenji calls Kyouka every morning to ask her to check on the plants. He truly wanted to bring his plants with him, but Dazai-san said that Kyouka volunteered to take care of them. The girl didn’t know but shrugged in agreement.
“We have a new case, something regarding a-”
“Kyouka-chan,” Kenji’s voice was eerily low.
“Kenji-kun?”
“I miss everyone. I hope you all well, please eat well– and also watch over Ranpo-san’s cactus too!” kenji’s voice switched.
Kyouka on the other side, hed the flip phone, the water pouring out onto the soil as she comprehended the message.
“Kenji. Take care.”
The line ends, Junichiro walks in and sits down, he looks to his phone and types in a message. Kenji closes the flip phone and pays attention.
“Morning,” Aizawa-sensei steps into the classroom, he no longer looks worse than Dazai-san. In fact, muh much healthier than him.
“You look very well, Aizawa-sensei!” Kenji commented with the others.
“Thank you Nakahara,” Aizawa lazily yawned. “More importantly, we’re having a special hero informatics class today,” he continued.
“Is that like a quiz?” Junichiro asked.
“Code names, in short, your hero names,”
The class
cheered
and jolly were they happy.
“This is related to the hero draft picks I mentioned the other day,” Aizawa continued.
When? Oh. Ohhhh. Kenji remembers now. If he was not wrong, he was thinking about how he should enjoy dinner with Chuuya-san that night!
Aizawa talked and then placed a paper on the board. Hero offers. That many huh?
Kenji walked to the font to see his. Oh. Only 34 offers? Was it because he was-
“As you can see, you Nakaharas got one of the lowest, but surprisingly it was Tanizaki Nakahara that got more offers,” Aizawa said to Kenji who just smiled. As long as one of those offers were from Endavour, he’ll be fine and he’ll be fine.
“You did manage to catch the eye of Endeavour, so congratulations,”
‘Phase one, complete, onto Phase two,’
…
Junichiro yawned as he looked to the board he was given. Hero names? Psh! What nonsense. No one is gonna know some masked figure running around like a timid boy. If anything, he’ll be popular for being a coward.
Maybe he should just put his name?
“Shoto.”
“Your name? Is that okay?”
Okayyyy definitely not. Junichiro rubbed out ‘Tanizaki’ off his board as looked to Kenji who in his messy child like handwriting wrote ‘Kenji’
He readily went to the front and presented his name.
“Your name… like… Todoorki-kun?” kaminari asked.
“I know that my name means something great! Kenji means strength, which ties in with my quirk and who I want to be in the future. I really hope to become the best I can be, and by using my name, I’ll be the best. Kenji means strong. And thats what I’ll be!
The countryside hero: kenji!
”
‘Wahhhh Kenji you are so impressive!’ Junichiro inwardly cried.
“Bravo, bravo! I approve!” Midnight clapped.
“Thank you everyone!”
Junichiro looked back to his board and decided to go oldschool. He made a small illusion of a pair of glasses, more specifically Ranpo-sans’. ‘Super mystery solverrrrr EEEEE!’ Junichiro tried to summon his inner Ranpo-san but failed miserably. To complete the mission effectively, he’ll have to do this perfectly and not get suspicious. He dissipated the glasses and soft green specks fell–
Snowfall. Huh.
Snowfall…
Junichiro wrote it down. ‘Koyuki’.
Junichiro walked to the front. All eyes were on him, he’ll explode. He could feel the voices starting, everything woudl start to blur but all he needed was to say his name.
“Uh… I chose Koyuki– w-which is snowfall!” Junichiro shakily held up his board.
“Hm. Why?”
“U-uh- I- uhm-” Junichiro gripped onto the board. Old lady just shut up and let him go!
“I-I…. I chose Koyuki its because a-an old friends of mine used to say that when I used my quirk. In Yokohama, quirks arent common, so we used to play with mine…” Junichiro is making lies up faster than Dazai-san could switch up infront of Kunikida-san.
“Uh… he said my quirk was like snowfall,” Junichiro made a small demonstration, summoning his ability as the green specks slowly fell.
“Snow is- snow is truly beautiful, its quiet and… just… comfortable– thats the person I want to be. I want to be known, but not so popularised. I want to be
there
but not there.”
“Then you shall be
The Illusions Expert: Koyuki
!”
…
INternships are difficult (and no way im writing this shit)
…
Chuuya walk to the house and wiped off the blood that clung below his eyes. That fucking bird was good. So was the rabbit. Jeez, the younger ones hold up a fight, the older dying ones really just accept fate.
He takes off the checkered outfit, and takes off his hat and mask. He drinks water before turning to the wine cabinet. He pours a glass, and he takes off his gloves fully, he hated the feeling of something on his fingertips. Textures disgusted him. So he hid them under gloves, stylish, mittens, cloth, yarn, anything to prevent those horrible textures.
“You look tired beyond-” Tecchou was silent.
“AH-” Chuuya screams, almost dropping his wine glass if the Huning Dog hadn’t caught it.
“Uh… yeah,” Tecchou held out the glass to Chuuya, who took it from his hand.
“I’m off to meet the other Hunting Dogs, including our new informant.” Tecchou said.
“We have a new informant?”
“Knows the inside and the out of every single place of this hero agencies. He gives up information on where to get files and whatever we are targeting next,” Tecchou explained.
“Let me guess, news reporter, originally born in Yokohama, Ability? Probably,” Chuuya said, twirling the wine glass.
“Psch,” Chuuya scoffed as Tecchou nods.
“Alright, if anything, come home for dinner,”
“Chuuya-san. If I may, you are more fatherly than you are a mafioso,”
“HAH!?”
…

Chapter Text
Junichiro was watching Hamilton on the school roof. How suspenseful.
“You know, you write a lot from what i notice,” Junichiro halts from his writing his surrounding and his feelings.
“AiAIAI-! Oh…” Junichiro turns to the purple haired boy who holds a single bottle of fanta.
“Hi.”
“Heeloo?” Junichiro waved back, pausing his musical experience.
“Hello,” Shinsou says again.
“Hi?”
Its silent and Junichiro deciees to pat the floor, a silent invitation to join him.
“You know, after all thats happened, everyone is still suspicious of you,” Shinsou said.
“I beg your pardon?” Junichiro asks. A mouthful of hashbrown n his mouth.
“You participated freely during the Sport festival. You have no idea of the news and you still have a flip phone,” Shinsou sighs.
“Its actually the latest model.” Junichiro opened his flip phone to show the traditional flip phone. Latest model? Hm.
“And uh, where’s is the touchscreen?” Shinsou asked.
‘Touchscreen?” Junichiro asked.
“Yep, you have no idea of it either,” Shinsou sighed.
Its quiet silence for the next few moments, Junichiro watching his musica on the small screen, mostly just enjoying the music.
“How do you handle it?”
“What?”
“The prejudice against your kind?”
“My kind ?” Junihicor asked.
“Yeah, Yokohamans. You guys have different biology than us, so if we were to-”
“Hahaha. Shhh, Shinsou-kun,” Junichiro sighed.
Junichiro just sighs. Its annoying. Midoriya asked, Iida asked, Momo asked, Bakugou demanded, everyone ‘needed’ to know.
“I’m here on a scholarship program, which means I have scored a point average for a certain requirement in Yokohama, and it matches the point average of your hero school,” Junichiro explains.
“Hm, so what was that point average?” Shinsou asks.
“Quirk. Quirk assessment?” Junichiro says as if its the most normal thing in the world. Shinsou just stares and Juncihiro sighed.
“Quirk point average is how normal our quirks fit in with other quirks so as to not draw attention from ourselves. Notice how we never introduce ourselves as students from Yokohama, we just say we’re transfer students,” Junichiro said.
“The only ones who said you’re from Yokohama are…. Everyone else,” Shinsou opens his mouth a little in realisation.
“Yep,”
Pressed lips emerge of Shinsou’s face.
“Thats cruel,” Shinsou mumbles.
“Yep. Its kinda funny. IN Yokohama, getting a quirk meant you’re too special, too…”
“Unusual?”
“Yeah,”
…
Chuuya sprays the hair dye onto his hair, creating the uneven black and ginger hair. He lets it dry and begins writings the evidence he will use against this guy. It was fun trying to dig up on this guy, but Dazai said it was lots of fun (bet he made Shin Soukoku to do it.)
Tecchou was resting, the Agency kids were asleep. Its time for his work to begin. He changes into an entirely new outfit, he puts on his contact, hiding the hetrochomanic ones. Chuuya wears his gloves and walks out of the house, carrying a bottle of wine in his front breast pocket.
Walking to his motorcycle, he activates his ability and take off, fast without any skid marks and he saw the cameras slowly turn away as he drives through the night. Stopping by one final place. He has a bone to pick wit Endeavour.
Chuuya climbs up the walls and silently opens a janitor rooms window, impressive, considering that most janitor rooms arent equipped with one. He climbs in and closes the window. He then opens the door, taking a peek outside and noticing the cameras looking the other way. He walks, clipboard in hand, and opens the door to Endeavours office.
“Hello again,” Chisinau waved.
“You…” Endeavour grumbled
“Me.” Chisinau nodded.
“Dont sweat it, Im here for an interview, and no, I’m richer than you combined,” Chisinau shrugged. He sits down on a seat and clicks his pen. He pulls out an old fashioned tape recording on the table.
“Lets begin shall we? I’m honestly surprised that all it took was for you to surrender was to threaten you with valuable information about Touya Todoroki,” Chisinau said, writing something in twirly curly writing.
Endeavour is silent, as silent as a mouse. Chisinau looks to one of the security cameras. Katai better be watching.
…
Katai is lazily typing on a computer, one screen open to watch Chuuya’s show down with Endeavour.
“KATAI!” Kunikida screams, opening the door, followed by a silent Kyouka.
“Kunkidaaaaaa, my dishes arent piling up i swear…”
“WHAT IS THIS!? YOU SHOULD BE TAKING CARE OF YOURSELF MORE- is that Nakahara-san?” The blonde pauses when he notices the open laptop screen.
“If Chuuya-san is doing an interrogation, things wont end well.” Kyouka whispers.
“Clearly, you can see him getting mad,” Katai mumbled.
Kunikida only pushes Katai aside a little and sits crosslesgged on the futon, watching the whole thing. Chubby is going through the conversation smoothly, the fiery pro hero is almost silent and obedient like a dog. He knows he cant buy Chuuya’s silence, he cant blackmail Chuuya back, and clearly Chuuya wil fight back, despite his small size.
“Things wont end well,” Kyouka sighs and rolls up her sleeves, walking over to Katai’s kitchen to start doing his dishes.
…
Junichiro takes off his binder and puts on his hoodie, walking to the kitchen and he pours a glass of milk, drinking it before he heard the sound of Chuuya drunkenly mumbling somewhere.
“Chuuya-san…?” Junichiro groggily calls.
“Oh heyy…” Chuuya slurs his words from the couch, holding a whole bottle of wine.
“I think you had too much to drink…” Junichiro mumbles.
“This? This nooothingggggg,” Chuuya groans.
“Dazai-san gets drunk plenty of times too,” Junichiro sits down next to the other ginger, carefully taking the wine bottle out of his hold.
“You must be experienced then… Mekeralll is the worst kind of drunk out theree,” Chuuay grumbled, lying down and using Junichiro’s lap as a pillow.
“Oh… he doesnt do this though. He’ll just complain and cry and walk back to his dorms… and get drunk more…” Junichiro sighs.
“Noo… I knew that makarel for yeaaaarsssth.. He aint drunk boyoo… he’s actign, like a sthank. hah a snake. Sthaank sthhaaaaaaaake,” Chuuya giggles.
“Oh,”
Chuuya just lifts a gloves hand and runs it through Juichiro’s hair.
“You look so mush like a boy. Heallo there boyoo, are you a boy??” Chuuya drunkenly babbles.
“I- i am now…” Junichiro smiles.
“I like yerr hair…”
“I like yours too,”
“Your eyesss are a nice shade off hazellll,”
“Your eyes are unique,”
And this goes on for quite some time. Chuuya complimenting the young boy until he fell asleep. Junichiro just lets the older man lay down. It’s Saturday after all-
“Cuddle pile!” kenji runs and jumps onto the two of them.
“KENJI NO-”
Kenji just jumps onto the couch, snuggling between the cushion and CHuuya's body heat. Junichiro is pulling down by the mafioso as they sit in awkward positons on the sofa.
"oh,"
"yall are guddd kidz..." Chuuay giggles.
"oh."
...
Kenji walked to the Tv, turning the black screen on, he then noticed the inofmration from the news.
“Chuuya-san!” Kenji called.
“Last nights encounter left many speechless, Hero Killer: Stain. Real name: Chizome Akaguro.”
“Thats right, the hero killer had enrolled in a private school after he had set his sights on becoming a hero from All might’s debut, which left a lasting impression on him,” The other newsreporter said.
“He was ‘severely disappointed with the views of the hero society’ and dropped out of school immediately. He called for a ‘return to the old ideas of heroes’,” The female reporter said.
“What does he think he is? He injured so many heroes! He realised that words had no power, so he resorted to violence. He had emphasized on the idea that heroes should not seek payment and the title of ‘Hero’.” the male reporter continued.
“Resorting to violence he indeed did, He dedicated himself to ‘cleanse the dirtiness of the hero society’. He has repeated that fake heroes should be take down or killed, leaving the ones who actually are sincere in calling themselves heroes. He had kept lurking in the shadows, purging until society ‘finally open their eyes to the true meaning of a hero’. That sounds quite impressive for a single man, Kasai-kun,” The female reporter sighed.
“He reminds me of that new villain, or ‘reporter’ he calls himself, Haruno-san” The male reporter, kasai grinned.
“Chisinau? That name makes no sense either, its impossible to pronounce, no meaning, nothing at all.” the female reporter, Haruno, rolled her eyes.
“The Hero Commision has issued a 25 thousand yen reward to anyone who finds the man,” Haruno added.
A picture of a black haired man with ginger dyed in hair and green eyes, a mask covering the lower half, a hat covering his eyes mostly. He wore a checkered black and cream coloured outfit with a single clipboard and pen, walking into a crowd of people.
“That is all for newsmorning. We’ll be passing the time over to the weather department,” Kasai said.
Kenji blinked as Chuuya groaned from his hangover.
“That’s actually impressive, they got footage of me…” Chuuya rubbed his eyes.
“This doesnt jeaprodise our mission in any way right?” Tecchou asks, eyes narrowing as he looked up from his new marron coloured file with a picture of a boy with blue coudy hair.
“I dont think so,” Junichiro said, passing a mug of water to Kenji.
The four of them sit in collective silence. They woke up too early, 6 am actually.
“So how were the internships?” Chuuya asked, rubbing his head.
“Endeavour is loud.” Kenji sighed.
“I learnt how to flip someone over,” Junichiro said, showing his bandaged hands from the new martial art activities he’s been resorted to.
“Good good, any intel from Endeavour?” CHuuya asked Kenji.
“He’s as ugly as tanizaki’s petri dish that one time!”
“I WAS NURSING MOLD FOR SCHOOL!”
…
Chuuya has work to do (which was the cover job of ‘marketing’ at home) so Tecchou walked them to school, for the reason that Tecchou failed a driving lisence test and Chuuya didn’t trust the Hunting Dog with his work.
“You can trust them with me,” Tecchou said, unblinking, hands held out for the key.
“I couldnt care less about the kids, I need to make sure my car is safe, y’know,” Chuuya glared.
“You’re literally a millionaire, you can afford another one.” Tecchou snarked back.
“Yeah but its a limited edition car– USE YOUR LEGS CHOP CHOP!” Chuuya chased the Hunting Dog and the two Agency members out.
“You know, i can see why you dont have a drivers license…” Junichiro mumbled.

Chapter 7: interference.
Summary:
A man with a business suit and a hat walks out of the train, with a briefcase and a pair of glasses, beside him, a man with messy bangs and a casual fit had a haversack.
“I cant believe we’re sent like this, jinko,” The business man mumbled.
“Better than the ‘hey we’re married uncles’ right?” The one with messy bangs snapped.
“Tch!” the one with a briefcase slaps the briefcase on the man with the Hawaiian shirts’ face.
"Ow-!"

Junichiro and Kenji walked to class, only to notice how buzzing the activity is.
“Whats’ with the uh… activity today?” Junichiro asked mina, who was smiling brightly.
“There’s a conspiracy that Stain and that Yokohama guy were working together! As always, all Yokohamans will find a way to-” Denki began before Kirishima slapped him at the shoulder, a small reminder that they had two Yokoahamns in the classroom.
“Okay everyone lose all discussions, I’m here to talk about something else,” AIzawa clears his throat.
‘Nah, Im gonna sleep.’ Junichiro lets himself face plant to the table and he hits snooze in his brain-
…
At the border of Yokohama where Hawks was now keeping watch of, patrolling the area, before noticing someone standing at the edge of the bridge, casually scrolling on his phone, lengs dangling off the edge.
‘A jumper?’ He thought to himself. Yokohama citizens must have been that miserable, whatever, Hawks wont interfere with his suicide.
The brown haired male just scrolls on his phone before he pulled out a gun.
‘No? A shooter?’ Hawks looked extra confused. The man put the gun in his mouth before taking it out in a split second and a bullet flew in Hawks’ direction.
“I see you, Keigo Takami!”
…
A man with a business suit and a hat walks out of the train, with a briefcase and a pair of glasses, beside him, a man with messy bangs and a casual fit had a haversack.
“I cant believe we’re sent like this, jinko,” The business man mumbled.
“Better than the ‘hey we’re married uncles’ right?” The one with messy bangs snapped.
“Tch!” the one with a briefcase slaps the briefcase on the man with the hawaiian shirts’ face.
"Ow-!"
The two of them walk through the city, taking in the various features of everyone around them. The two of them reach a building, a tall building with ‘UA’ on it.
“Looks horrendous.” The one in a business suit mumbled while the other just looks at the building in awe.
“Woah…”
“Its a badly designed building,” The one with a business suit insisted.
“Yeah but… look at that! More than 4 stories tall!”
“I pity your living situation Jinko.”
…
Kenji walks out of UA with a sleepy Junichiro holding his hand as they walk out, only to see the famous [air from Yokohama.
“Atsushi-kun!” Kenji lets go of Junichiros hand and runs up to the one with messy bangs, the sunglasses come off and sunset coloured eyes look at kenji’s golden ones.
Junichiro caught up to them, and saw the one in the business suit, now identified as Ryuunosuke Akutagawa, one of the few survivors that got turned back into human. He was checking his watch as he adjusted his glasses and turned to glare at Junichiro–
‘Eep! Probably because I did almost kill his sister…’ Junichiro thought.
“A-ah, Atusushi-kun wh-what happened-?” Junichiro asked.
“The League of Villains has infiltrated Yokohama,” Akutagawa explained, grey eyes boring into Juinchiro’s hazel ones.
“D-damn it…” Junichiro mumbled. Kenji only puts on his hat with a smile.
“There is no need to worry right? Afterall, the Mafia and the Agency is now under temporary alliance until the whole situation blows over,” Kenji smiled, golden eyes looking at the other three.
The four Yokohamans only start walking, and that catches the eye of a… certain individual.
…
Aiszawa stares at the two new men at the gates. It seems like the transfers are well acquainted with them. So, he decided to look up their files.
Atsushi Nakajima
Age 19
Quirk: He-tiger. It gives the user the ability of a tiger, drawback is psychosis and hallucinations.
Occupation: Freelance detective (family business)
Akutagawa Ryuunosuke
Age 21
Quirk: Cloth Demon. He can manipulate the thread and cloth in his clothes to make a demon.
Occupation: Accounting
‘People fo two different backgrounds, two different personalities and names- but both are here in Musufatsu, and they know the transfers.’ Aizawa had read their files again and again. Something else is at play here. And if he’s right– it should trace back to Chisinau.
…
Chuuya types up one final report and he sends it to Mori. He uncaps the wine and pours it into a wine glass.
“Call Dazai,’
‘Calling ‘Makeral song of a bitch good for nothing’
The phone rings and Dazai picks up the phone, cheery as ever.
‘Hey slug! What news do you have to offer to your master today!”
“Shut it,” Chuuya groans, his migraine forming again.
“But I have something regarding a hero. HIs son, Touya Todoroki, most likely didn;t die in that fire,” CHuuya says.
“Oh yeah I knew that- but whats your hypothesis?”
“Tch. Im guessing he got severe burns, someone saved him and he’s living life as a normal man now, or… the deep hatred for heroes festered for far too long resulting in that one villain, Dabi,”
“Right on the money, slug!”
“Hm,”
…
Akutagawa walks into a secluded bar, a man of purple smoke wipes glasses clean. Akuatagwa coughs into his hand and sits on the bar stool, grey steel eyes looking at the others in the bar.
“Call back your forces on Yokohama, and the Mafia will withdraw any means of attack we have on you,” he says calmly, picking up the glasses that the purple smoke man had offered him.
“W-who are you!” A lizard unsheathed his sword ith a shing.
“I’m the most loyal dog, the rabid dog. I am Diablo.” Akuatagwa grins and he stands up, knocking the glass over and turns to the one with blue hair and covered in hands.
“And I’m not alone.”

Chapter 8: the branches talk
Summary:
“What is it you Yokohaman’s wish to attain? First, you attack our heroes, next, you send students from your schools. Next, I see that one of your political leaders is actually a Mafia Boss!” THe hero yells at Techou.
Tecchou turns around and stares at the hero. He sees the hero in a light, white. White only. A disgusting too pure of white. He has been too caught up in lies.
“Peace.”

Chapter Text
Akutagawa and Atsushi returns to the apartment, Akutagawa on Atsushis’ back, both of them looking tired.
“What happened to you two?” Chuuya asked, pointing to the Double Black, now panting as Akutagawa withered onto the floor.
“One of them disintegrated my arm off!” Atsushi’s voice cracked.
“Yeah, yeah, grow up,” Chuuya rolled his eyes and Junichiro looked up, clearly worried but its Atsushi, he’l heal in like a few minutes.
“MY arm is GONE!” Atsushi cried, touching the ash on his shirt.
“Yeah and? I cant grow back your hands kid,”
“Akutagawa-san- are you alright…?” Junichiro asked, looking at the mafioso who was grumbling into the vinyl floor.
Both of them got their wounds treated by Tetchou, who had to stitch up a wound on Akutagawa’s shoulder. Atsushi was fine in like a few hours and Akuatagawa is now on the sofa after having a shower, in sweatpants and a shirt, Atsushi wearing his uniform and the both of them sat at the opposite ends of the sofa.
“Did you know that penguins push the one at the tip of the iceberg to check fojr predators in the water?” Kenji said, to break the tension.
“Thats very nice, Kenji,-kun,” Atsushi mumbled.
“That’ll be me pushing jinko in enemy territory,” Akuatagawa grinned to himself.
“HAH!?” Atsushi shot up and Akutagawa grinned.
“Don’t fight please…” Junichiro sighed.
…
Today, Junichiro and Chuuya are going to train, and Akutagawa is going to watch.
“Nope, eyes up, dont look down,” Chuuya said, tilting Junichiro’s chin up.
“Ahh..” Junichiro sighed, looking up and putting his hands back up again.
“Now lets say theoretically, Ryuu-chan here wants to kill you-”
“EE-!”
…
Tecchou jumps onto a building, Hunting Dog unifirom on as he scouts the streets of Yokohama in the darkness. On this specific building however, he stares at the screen of someone dancing with another. He stares at it lengthy and he purses his lips.
‘Jouno would have liked that.’
But his focus isnt the dancing, its the building below it. If he makes a scene, something that’ll throw the whole government of Musufatsu off, they’ll call off their men at the borders.
“Stop right there,” Techou knows the shadows hid his face tonight, and after all, he did wear something to hide his face. (because Teruko knows he would be distracted and he’ll be busted)
“That uniform, I’ve seen you somewhere before,” Tecchou catches sight of a familiar face.
“Shouta Aizawa, you have gotten in my way several times before. The fastest way to complete my task is to eliminate you,” Tecchou says, hand going to his sword as the black hair man activates his quirk, hair flying up.
“However, i am not allowed to eliminate anyone, not without
him
checking if you are a threat,” Tecchou retracts his sword with a click and turns around.
“Peace.” Tecchou said, taking his sword from the sheath and he lets his ability act out- the publishing house is now torn to sherds, the people inside are safe.
…
Fukuzawa sips his tea and he crosses his arms as everyone came together. Everything is falling full circle.
“Well, whats the progress on the two of your people… working undercover?” Fitzgerald sits proudly, looking at them with a cheap cup of coffee from Louisa.
“Well, Tecchou isnt straying off course,” Teruko, the new Commander of the Hunting Dogs said, she had made herself look older, now that she had the responsibility of such.
“Chuuya is doing a wonderful job, he’s already uncovered the top 3 heroes,” Mori had smiled, one hand under his chin as the other was being played by Elise on his side.
“Fukuzawa-san, if I may,” Fitzgerald raises a gloved hand, and he smiles.
“Yes, Fitzgerald?” Fukuzawa looks up from the holographic screen that was placed for their meeting.
“Was it truly necessary to send your weak links to Yokohama?” he asked.
“Weak links?” Fukuzawa asked again, his tone wavering from its usual cool tone.
Ranpo had just sat down on the seat next to Fukuzawa in a bored manner.
“This is a very boring meeting…” He whispered to Fukuzawa.
“Tanizaki and Kenji are not weak links.” Fukuzawa had emphasized.
“No they’re not,” Teruko sighed.
“One of them managed to take out my best man, Tecchou. That Kenji boy is one hell of a monster,” Teruko chuckled.
“And the ginger had almost succeeded in killing me, almost of course,” Mori smiled.
“Unfortunately..” Yosano mumbled udner her breath, earning a small iggle from Dazai, earning a loud ‘shhhhhh’ from Kunikida.
The room grow eerily tense until Ango walks into the room, arms crossed as he walks into the room, and he places a tablet down and the hologram changes.
“Apologies for my tardiness. I have been rather preoccupied recently…” Ango said, his dark circles had looked more defined than usual.
The hologram shows the current people in Musufatsu currently. Chuuya wearing Chisinau’s outfit with the info on his character. There was tecchou wearing the Hunting Dog uniform with a mask over it.
“Ugh, he could have been more creative with the mask,” Teruko rolled her eyes at the blank white mask.
And there was Shin Soukoku, Kenji and Junichiro.
“Based on their performance, Phase 1 is complee. However, with the LoV’s advances on Yokohama, including heroes patrolling the border, its only a matter of time before-” Ango spoke.
“Before we have to fight the whole of Japan,” Mori concludes.
“Yes…”
The room fell silent and Fitzgerald raises a hand.
“If I may, I would like to send one of our best down,” Fitzgerald smiled.
“S-s-sir! You dont possibly c-consider sending P-Poe do you?” Louisa asked, clearly caught off guard.
“We can’t send anyone else. With the increasing number of ability users in other parts of japan, the balance will be off, the scale moves,” Ango says.
Dazai stares at the hologram before walking right to the table and tapped on Ango’s screen, showing more information on the heroes of Yokohama.
“You didn’t share this to us,”
“It was sent to the leaders- not to
you
,” Ango glared lightly.
“Then that concludes our meeting. Its been successful, all we have to do is wait for Atsushi and Akutagawa to stop the advances of the LoV, and leave the students to your men and leave the heroes to Chuuya.” Fitzgerald smiled.
“Don’t forget that the Hunting Dogs are playing a critical role too. If that ‘All For One’ guy gets through the borders, it’s a whole nother war,” Teruko said.
…
A black haired man with teal blue eyes walk out of a bar, and is met with a young man with white hair with black ends, he had sunset coloured eyes and a white button up with… suspenders? Whatever.
“Touya Todoroki right?” The boy asked, making Dabi caught off guard and glaring at him. It was the guy from the bar last night. His arm returned, so Dabi guess someonee must have a really good healing ability.
“Who’s asking?”
“Jinko, and we’d like your assistance on taking down a certain society,” Jinko shows him his card and put it back in his pocket.
“I have no interest in helping heroes sabotage heroes,” Dabi glared.
“No no, we are not heroes. We want your society heroes out of our town, a very specific hero comes to mind,” Jinko smiled and steps aside as a man with black hair and white ends, with greyish black eyes and a black overcoat steps out of the shadows.
“Fire,”
“Endeavour.” Dabi glared.
“You have gotten that guess right. We have been able to neutralize the Pro Hero Hawks, as the news said, someone at the borers attacked him.” The black haired one said.
“And what do I stand to gain from helping Yokohamans,” Dabi glared. “All i have to stay for this gang is the revenge I’ll be getting on the old man,”
“Why get revenge on your father with such a crappy gang? Even the Agency pays the Jinko much better,” The black haired one said, slightly disgusted.
“E-eh!?” Jinko turned to the black haired guy who shrugged.
“Jinko, give the guy your card. If he doesn’t give us an answer in 24 hours, he’ll have to be eliminated,”
“You promised me not to kill for 6 months so you can kill me, Diablo...” Jinko mumbled, passing a card with his burner phone number to Dabi.
“No need, I’ll get Chisinau-san to do it for me,” Diablo glared.
Dabi paused. Chisinau?
“Like… the reporter who broke into Endeavours office, only for a lot of his secrets published the next day– that guy?” Dabi asked.
“Ye-yeah?” Jinko tilted his head, trying to push away a rabid black haired man from his head.
“You know that the government is searching high and low for you. The LoV is breaking into Yokohama, man by man," Dabi added.
"I believe that Guild has taken care of them," Jinko smiled.
...
"I cant believe I had to send out all those emails, Karl..." Poe sighed, hunched over a laptop with a cup of cold coffee next to him.
Notes:

Chapter 9: backlash and research
Summary:
Chuuya now realises his mistake. He had made it that everything thing he did with them an excuse for the mission. In truth, he was determined to stay only for the mission, but over time, he got too attached to them, atnight, he’d make them do their homework, if they weren’t feeling it, then he’d have to try something else. At night, he’d ask Junichiro to unbind and Kenji to eat properly. At night, he’d find Tecchou dancing with a ghost in the dead of the night.
He’s grown much too attached.

Chapter Text
Junichiro did not grow up religion by all means, but he has seen and heard his neighbour, and yes she was a devout christian. He knew and he was raised by her, despite how she was so devout and going on and on about purity, she had accepted him for he he was, supported his every action.
Maybe not this one.
“Say that again and I’ll rip your throat out,” Junichiro had unknowingly said that, standing in front of Kenji with an unreadable expression, and expression Kenji knew all too well.
…
“For context, maybe Kenji should explain…” Midnight chuckled when Chuuya walked into the office, another childs mother was currently yelling at the other child.
“I’m guessing you beat up someone?” Chuuya asked, putting down his coat as Junichiro looked down, bruised cheek with a bloodied lip, hands bloody and bruised.
“But…. Junichiro was standing up for me! Some guy was speaking some ugly words to us, and Junichiro got mad!” Kenji said.
“I’m sorry,” Junichiro had hung his head low as he clenched the fabric of his pants.
“No no… are you two hurt?” Chuuya didnt even need to ask who won. Judging on how the boy had an ice pack on his eye and a missing tooth, he guessed Junichiro won.
“Uhm, im fine,” Junichiro hung his head. Chuuya got fed up and grabbed Junichiro by the hair and pulled him up.
“Oi, are you hurt?” Chuuya had unintentionally Tugged too hard, earning a wince from Junichiro.
“No!” Junichiro answered, slapping Chuuya’s hand away, which made him realise his mistake.
“Ah…” Chuuya retracted his hand and earned a glance from Midnight.
“Junichiro…” Chuuya mumbled, apologetically.
Junichiro glanced to the teachers in the room. Kenji had just crossed his arms and looked to the boy who was angrily staring at Junichiro.
…
Chuuya had started driving, Juinchiro and Kenji was sitting at the back, silent as a mouse.
“If you dont tell me anything, this mission is busted,” Chuuya said, voice soft as Junichiro just picks at the skin of his fingernails.
“Tanizaki,” Chuuya said, gripping the steering wheel.
“No, I’m fine,”
“You’re not, I’ve seen my men do this, I’ve seen him do it. Act all macho and thinks everything is fine but your ribs could be bruised or your ankle is fucked up!” Chuuya yelled in the small car, earning a small flinch from Junichiro and a stare from Kenji.
Chuuya just sighed and pulled to a stop at a restaurant.
“I care, okay,” Chuuya said, and Junichiro gingerly looked back up.
“It’s… horrible, I’m going against my own beliefs, I’m constantly worried and th-this incident– Tanizaki this incident isnt normal! I know we’re different and stuff, but I didn’t think you’d be fine after beating up someone like that!” Chuuya looked at Junichiro, blue and brown eyes looking into normal brown ones.
“I’m… in pain,” Juinchiro croaked, grabbing Kenjis hand as he fights back tears in his eyes.
“I can’t handle this mission… it’s too painful- everyone is treating us differently back home- a-a-nd they’re treating us different here too- and it hurts-” Junichiro desperately tried to calm himself by wiping his incoming tears.
“I’m scared…” Kenji admits, looking to Chuuya, who looks at Kenji through the carview mirror.
“I’m scared that one day, when I eat, i won’t be strong enough to fight everyone that threatens our mission– threatens us… and…” Kenji’s smile falters but he sighed and looked to Chuuya.
“And I’m scared that everything here is fake, because its a mission,”
Chuuya now realises his mistake. He had made it that everything thing he did with them an excuse for the mission. In truth, he was determined to stay only for the mission, but over time, he got too attached to them, atnight, he’d make them do their homework, if they weren’t feeling it, then he’d have to try something else. At night, he’d ask Junichiro to unbind and Kenji to eat properly. At night, he’d find Tecchou dancing with a ghost in the dead of the night.
He’s grown much too attached.
…
Midoriya had seen how Junichiro step in front of Kenji as he stared at a student from one of the other classes, but Midoriya recalls his name to be… Tamura or something from the support classes.
“How did someone with illusions even got into the main Hero Coure anyway, even I can do something even better with my quirk,” The black haired boy from the support class started, grey eyes looking at the transfers who just wanted to grab things from their lockers.
Midoriya wanted to intervene, but something in him old him not to.
“Like, do you honestly need more people for strength? Your quirks are fucking supports! Dont even get me started on your supports, what kind of useless fucks– dont get me started on you, farm boy. Country bumpkins should-”
A resounding crack echoed the hallways and Junichiros eyes had changed, it held a certain hate to them, and his stance had changed from timid to something much more. Tamura’s glasses flew, broken as he clutched his eye.
“Sensei! Help! The transfers are mad– HAHAHA! You call that a punch!” Tamura grinned.
“No, that was a slap,” Junichiro said, voice cold as he stepped closer.
“O-Oi! Don’t make me prove that you Yokohamans are mad, y-yeah!” Tamura staggered back.
“Good. At least you proved one of them is.”
Some stood by and watched as Junichiro mercilessly swng his fist back on forth as he was atop tamura, who was crying in pain, while others tried to break up the fight. Kenji had been trying to pry Junichiro off without using his ability, but Junichiro was blinded by rage.
“JUNICHIRO! CALM DOWN!” Kenji cried.
Junichiro raised his fist again and halted, staring at Tamura’s bruised face and a broken nose.
“You’re a monster…” Tamura whispered and the teachers had came, running in, pulling the students off each other.
…
Todoroki had gotten chills from the way the ginger had swung, a swing heavy enough and full of enough hate that he knew and recognised.
That guy wasn’t to be challenged, even with his quirk against illusion quirk, it’s no match if he can swing that hard, the force and pure rage in that swift and silent punch. That guy could calculate a lot and frankly the way he looked too well kept irked him.
‘Yokohama…. Do they teach these there?’ He thought to himself as he walked back home, and he noticed Junichiro, Kenji and an older ginger sit around on a table in a fast food restaurant, Junichiro was eating ice cream as Kenji was nibbling on fries.
Todoroki stares through the glass pane as the man ruffles Junichiros hair, who just grumbles and shoves the hand away, earning a loud mouth open laugh from Kenji. Todoroki is jealous. A happy family, how miserable his own one looks.
Junichiro noticed him and waved with a smile, bruised cheek and cut lips, just smiling, with no malic or ill intention, just smiling. Todoroki looks away and walks away. How stupid.
Todoroki returns home and starts reading news, whatever news he’s able to find of Yokohama. He finds an article.
The Hunting Dogs, Japans elite military force stationed in Yokohama (birthplace of this officers). After the betrayal and death of Fukuchi Ouchi, the title of Commander has been passed down to Teruko Okura.
After a terrorist attack in Yokohama, the elite force is now only left with three surviving members, one of them now blinded and paralysed from the leg down. The other two, Tachihara Michizo, was murdered by Fukuchi Ouchi, yet his body has not been found.
That was it. That’s all he got. Todoroki had clicked the browser for more information, hoping for some sort of…
The Yokohama Divisions take on the intruders (click link to read article)
“What the…” Todoroki pressed on that piece of work and began reading.
Mori Ougai, also known as the Boss of the Mori Corporations, has been seen attending political speeches and press conferences held by the different organization that base in Yokohama, including the American ability user group, The Guild, which has now been disbanded with very few remaining loyal members.
The Guild had entered Yokohama mid 2018, and had been neutralised and taken down by The Armed Detective Agency and The Port Mafia. Ever since then, The Guild has been contributing to the change and growth of Yokohama’s ability population.
Mori Ougai has shared with the press that he has no intentions of ‘revealing the reasons why he doesn’t want to share reasons’. However, Fukuzawa Yukichi, the Director of The Armed Detective Agency, has shared that Yokohama is being invaded by government officials and gangs and thugs from outside Yokohama.
“I understand that the citizens currently feel unsafe with how the issue is being handled, but rest assured, the divisions of Yokohama, all of us, we are handling the situation accordingly.” The Director shared, now amused by the increasing number of reporters outside of the small Agency building.
“Fukuzawa-san! Your agents has been missing over the past few days, how sure are you that they are not in danger or has been handled by these intruders?”
“I have put my agents that are most likely to be in danger in a more safer and more stable environment elsewhere in Yokohama, they still work for me, although digitally collecting information for me and the rest of the Detectives,”
With this information, it is confirmed that the director of the agency and Yokohama’s twilight division has been taking matters into their own hands.
We have also asked one of the most active agents from the Special Divison for Unusual Powers, Ango Sakaguchi, for his insight as Yokohama’s daylight division.
“Rest assured, we are making full use of our ability users and maintaining the safety of all civilians. I only ask for all of your co-operations and adhere to the curfew set by The Hunting Dogs, we agree that the citizens of Yokohama are top priority, and if you see any unsual activity, please do call for help immediately. That is all from me,”
With all this in mind, it is safe to say that Yokohama is in good hands, and all of the citizens need to co-operate and keep themselves safe in the meanwhile.

“That’s it…?” Todoroki stares at the screen and scrolls up to the other articles he could possibly read.
He clicks around and is found another news article
‘If Yokohama had opened her borders, Quirk users would treat Ability Users like plague’ (click to read article)
A study shown by an agent from the Special Department for Unusual Powers, Ango Sakaguchi, has shared to the public media that if Yokohama opened her borders publicly, the chances of Quirk users monopolizing and taking over Yokohama’s ability user percentage.Only 4% of Ability Users make it into adulthood, which isnt much according to him.
“Yes, its good to socialise, but is it worth it if Yokohama citizens are treated differently? In a recent study and statistic gathering shown, Yokohamans that travel out of country to pursue higher education or chase careers are often met with backlash from their hometown. Is it truly necessary to face this. Our land is limited, so our only option is to open our borders, only with the publics honest opinion shall we act on it,”
The votes casted was not to open the borders, majority of the votes casted by scholars or those who met with the backlash.

Chapter Text
Junichiro looked at Tecchou, who was beaming as he answered the phone, if Tecchou looked happy, an actual emotion visible on his face, then that shows how good the news on his phone must be. Junichiro eats the jelly he had got from the fridge and swallowed it whole. He didnt bother chewing from how much his teeth hurt, and he had made sure all of them were in tact.
“Call mackerel,” Chuuya said as his phone started ringing. Akutagawa and Atsushi had been scouting and patrolling the area, now under the codenames of ‘Jinko’ and ‘Diablo’. Atsushi now has something to interfere with the League of Villains onslaught into Yokohama, while Akuatagawa is using brute force and ambushing every of their bases (without killing anyone).
“Good morning chibi!”
Dazai’s voice rang through the house.
“Oi, I have intel. Todoroki kid has started researching, Atsushi is making contacts and winning over minor heroes and villains. Also Akutagawa is doing what he does best-”
“Fail me?”
“W-what!? No! Brute force, dumbass!” Chuuya yelled.
Tecchou hung up and he let the smile stay on his face before erasing it and drinking his coffee.
“Was that salt…” Junichiro asked.
“Yes, why?”
“Oh gods…”
…
It’s safe to say, everyone had started looking at Juncihiro funny the next morning, so he decided why not play into the role of ‘im actually a big bad guy hiding under a timid facade- MUAHAHA!’ but he didn’t and ultimately panicked when Momo had came over to his table.
Junichiro had spent most of his time during classes, hiding in the school bathroom, seated on the toilet seat and just staring at his phone.
“Nakahara,” A voice form the next cubicle made him jump and almost drop his phone.
“S-shinsou?” Junichiro called out in experimentation.
“Are you hiding from classes?”
“N-no!” Junichiro answered in mild panic.
“Yeah, so you and I have been camping out here for like what, an hour and a half,”
“You’ve been here the whole time!?” Junichiro asked.
“You’re not the only one hiding…” Shinsou said, softer. Junichiro had paused and smiled.
Junchiro stares at the wall separating the cubicles and just chuckled.
“I’m sorry, that guy was your classmate right?”
“Yeah, dont be, he’s a prick. His quirk is the ability to control metal pieces, only small ones though, nothing major,”
Juinchiro had thought back to the metal sword that pierced Kenji’s heart, the metal scraps that stabbed Gin in the shoulder. Tachihara, still missing right?
“I knew someone back home who did that too, I dont have a great… time… trying to remember metal,” Junichiro stared at his white shoes.
“Were you bullied too?”
“I dont think I like how you said ‘too’, Shinsou,”
“Yeah, guess we both were bullied,”
Junichiro remembered how people used to treat him differently for the sole reason he can just – disappear. He remembers Naomi, her eyes and her admittance and hope to accept her step brother because he was unique. She sheltered him, loved him, and sometimes Junichiro feels like he cannot do the same for her.
“Better get back before someone comes around yknow,”
“I’ll stay here for as long until someone comes around…”
…
Chuuya puts on the hat, the coat and puts in his contacts. Infiltrating UA was much less difficult than he originally thought. He just enters the file room and steals a file of information about Todoroki and opened the window again to meet the gaze of a small mouse man.
“Chisinau, mind to sit down for a cuppa?” The mouse… rat…. Asked.
“Nah, I’m busy,” Chuya said and activated his ability as he walked onto the glass windows.
Chuuya walks away, the small mouse rat looking thing is also gone from sight. He opened Todoroki’s file and smiled.
Simple as that, cant be that simple. And he feels something might bite him in the ass later on. If anything, he can just beat them up.
…
Atsushi stares at his missing hand and sighs. He lets the blood drip and he turns to the League once more, yellow and purple eyes glowing in the dim room. He smiles and he steps forward. The girl in twin buns and blonde hair. She skips to him and Atsushi doesn’t falter, he can smell Akutagawa’s metallic smell, with that hint of softener and in mere seconds, the familiar black bursts from the ground.
“Diablo!” Atsushi called to Akutagawa cloth, and Rashomun conjures a small head and it smiles, and she continues her carnage, fighting the girl in twin buns, who was flinging a syringe around.
“Jinko, their leader was the guy who disintegrated your arm and that girl needs blood to transform into you yet clearly she hasnt tasted it yet if she;s swinging it around,” Akuatagawa stands next to him.
“Ta-taste it?” Atsushi shivered slightly before jumping and blow glows and the kanji appears, and he has manifested his half tiger form.
“Your blood isnt the best thing,” Akutagawa grimaced.
“Right, you were a vampire…” Atsushi mumbled.
The girl stuck the needle in Akutagawa’s neck and he turns his neck ever so slightly before the fabric cracks through the vacuum and breaks her syringe and cut off her pinky finger. The open wound now drips and Akutagawa presses his hand on his, staining the white fabric of his shirt.
“Hold back your troop! Call them away, all those lives, those me you sent aren’t going to stay alive,” Atsushi said to the group.
“Liar, master tells us we’re successful,”
“Then your master is a liar, dog.” Akutagawa growled.
Atsushi charges with Akutagawa’s Rashomun activating behind him. Right now, he needs Akutagawa’s trust if he were to disintegrate now, they may never win.
“RASHOMUN!”
“BYAKKO!”
…
Aizawa ends up infront of an expensive apartment building, almost condominium, and he climbs to the highest floor, and knocks on the door of the address. A man with a short stature opens the door, phone at his ear, wine glass in one hand, and pair of glasses. He wore a white shirt with a vest and black pants, ginger hair kept in a claw clip and hetrochromanic eyes look to him with distatste.
“Call you back, bandages,” The man hangs up and looks at the teacher.
“Who are you?” The manlet glared.
“I’m here to ask about… your adopted sons,”
“You their homeroom teacher?” The ginger asked, drinking from his wine glasses. Gloves? Indoors?
“Come inside then, sorry its a mess,” The man opens the door and Aizawa sees the house cluttered with papers and bags. There was a boy sleeping on the couch, legs dangling as he drooled onto the floor, another was reading a book. The one asleep wore a white shirt with a hawaiian shirt a top of it, the other wore a white button up and a vest too, he had glasses on– wait, those two were the ones who picked Kenji and Junichiro up the other day…
“Chuuya-san, who is this man?” The one in the formal wear asked, eyes widening and pupils narrowing.
“The kids’ teachers– get Atsushi off my floor,” Chuuya, the man, said to the black haired one and the black haired one just kicks the white haired mans shin, earning a yelp.
Chuuya tells the black and white haired individuals to return to their rooms for the time being, and he sits down and pours a wine glass.
“I don’t drink,”
“Yeah, but I do,” Chuuya drinks one cup and drinks the other. He wiped his mouth with his glove and unclipped his hair and took off his glasses, sat infront of Aizawa and Aizawa had a feeling of something going to happen.
“What do you do for a living, Nakahara-san?”
“I do accounting, marketing,” Chuuya answered, blue and brown eyes blinking.
“Do you have a quirk?”
“Nah, I’m quirkless, and god bless, I can’t imagine having one, if I did I would have been the worst employer of all,” Chuuya laughs.
“Employer? You own a business then?” Aizawa asked, he glances around at the room, there are statistics and graphs, all speaking of money, for… Mori Corporations?
“Well, half of it,” Chuuya shrugged. The door opens and a brown haired man comes in through the door with a flannel and a bunch of books, his hair was in a messy ponytail and he held a few books and files in his hand.
“Chuuya-san, I’ll be in my room,”
There was considerable silence in the room, either of the men had said anything and Aizawa decides to speak again.
“You’re Chisinau arent you?”
“That Yokohaman reporter?” Chuuya asked, raising an eyebrow, looking appalled.
“Your have ginger hair, but with black hair dye, you’d get the mixture of the uneven hair that Chisinau gets, take off your contacts, you’d have your green eyes. Now, tell me the truth, are you Chisinau-”
“For starters, I dont own black hair dye, second, these are my natural eye colours, no contacts at all,” Chuuya glared, he looked honestly disgusted and enraged at the simple accusation.
Aizawa narrowed his eyes and noticed how Chuuya’s eyes didnt have the shine or the solid pupil shape that contacts provided, there is no hint of hair dye in his hair at all. His manner is messy and although elegant, not as so to Chisinau. Besides, Chisinau has a quirk and is taller then the mn in front of him.
“Listen here, mister,” Chuuya leaned to Aizawa, hetrochromatic eyes looked to him.
“I have read the news, why is the Heroes infiltrating Yokohama? Is it our presence? The fact I want my kids to finally be accepted in a society that doesnt treat them like freaks for having a quirk? No. You people treat them like the plague, treat them like foreign weapons. It disgusts me,” Chuuya said, the atmosphere in the dim apartment seemed to get darker.
“I assure you, its only our heroes ensuring the safety of your citizens-”
“I CALL BULLSHIT!” Chuuya slapped his wine glass on the table, causing it to break into pieces.
“You heroes always think the same, ‘we are right’, ‘we are correct’, ‘we ensure their safety’. I call it bull. Where were
you
guys when Yokohama was attacked by foreign forces. Where you
heroes
when yall rounded up anyone who had a quirk only to be called abilities by you,” Chuuyas voice got lower and angerier.
“Now get out.”
…
Midoriya had noticed the way Junichiro only returned to the class only 2 hours later, he had looked messy and had a mark on his cheek. Kenji only giggled when he sat back next to him and commented something in a different dialect. Junichiro just sighed and ruffled Kenji’s hair.
When the bell rang for lunch, Kenji and Juncihiro stayed in class, Junichiro was playing a game on his flip phone as Kenji just watched.
“I wish we had Dazai-san here… he’d beat this level in minutes,” Junichiro mumbled.
“That’s because he doesn’t have a life,” Kenji commented absentmindedly.
“True true,”
Midoriya came into the classroom with two coffee buns and milk cartons. He passed it individually to each of them, earning confused looks from both of them.
“Uh, thank you?” Junichiro asked, slightly confused and nervous.
“Thank you!” kenji smiled, doing a small bow as he clapped his hands together and closed his eyes.
“No, it’s nothing. I figured it’s the least I could do, since I wasn’t able to step up for you two,” Midoriya said, Kenji had chewed through the coffee bun, golden eyes looking at Midoriya and only smile.
“No, dont worry, its not your fault,” Kenji said, and that only added to his guilt. Midoriya was supposed to be hero! He should have been the one protecting them, someone strong.
…
Somewhere in Yokohama, someone on a wheelchair and a purple haired woman are at the airport. They wait patiently, the man has his eyes closed, and he has a white cane in his hands. The woman has a butterfly hair pin and they wait together.
“Are you sure,” The purple haired woman asked.
“They’re here alright. Keigo Takami, he’ll be here, trying to infiltrate. And we will have Touya Todoroki fight him here.”
The airport is considerably empty, but there are still people walking back and fro. Like a brown haired man with a broken arm and many bandages bringing luggages with a young woman with dark violet hair. There was an elderly man with his son, waiting for a plane too. There is a black haired man with a hoodie covering every part f his body to his nose, teal blue eyes staring out at the world and a man at the ticker stand, with blonde hair and green uniform. Or an old man with his daughter at the restaurant, the woman wearing a mask as she laughed as her old man just smokes a cigarette.
The plane touches down and a blonde man with bright red feathers trailing behind him walks to the green uniform clad ticketmaster.
“He’s here,” The one in the wheelchair smiled.
The green uniform man checks the ticket and passes the passport back with a piece of paper inside, smiles and let the man be on his way. A young ginger, small in structure glared at him.
“Watch it!” She snapped.
“Ah no worries kid, you’re indeed blessed to be in my presence,” The blonde man smiled. A silver and purple haired individual chased after her and they picked her up, apologising profusely.
The airport is too empty. The blonde man now looks to everyone, who was staring at him and he knows something is up.
“If you’re there, villains, come on out. I’m the number 2 hero,” Hawks has revealed himself, he picks up a feather and he looks to the man in the wheelchair who wheeled towards himtapping the cane infront of hi.
“Ah, apologies kind sir, I am blind and I need help retrieving my luggage,” The white haired man smiled.
Hawks almost let his guard down but remembered the article he had read.
‘one of them now blinded and paralysed from the leg down’
“Tch, you saw right through it.” The white haired man jumps off his wheelchair and the white cane in unsheated to be a sword.
Hawks knew he had a chance winning against a paralysed blind ma-
The man stood on his feet and his eyes remained closed, but he looked like he knew everything around him, with a smirk he takes off the cloak and revealed a red hunting Dog uniform. He…
“I could always carve the wing one out of your ody, thatd leave you useless, leaving you nothing in the eyes of the Hero Commision! That’d be lovely revenge, for what they did to my eyes,” The white haired took a step forward.
Hawks had scattered a few feathers only for them to be cut up by knives. The violet haired girl, with the masked daughter stood side by side, one wielding a knife another having a woman wielding a sword. The elderly man with the son had stood behind them, an unsheathed sword by his waist. The woman with purple hair with that butterfly pin held a chainsaw, grinning widely. The brown haired man with the broken arm only took his arm from the cast and took a gun. The son of the elderly man with the sword had his eyes open, a pair of glasses on his face. The ticket master had appeared behind them. The man smoking had pushed back his feather with force.
“Welcome to Yokohama, Keigo,” hawks whipped his head around and saw him.
“Touya…”
“Why?”
“I quite like grey, you know?”

Chapter 11: "Do you think I'm a monster?" "no. no way."
Summary:
“Nice of you to join us, young man,” Jouno said to Touya, who sat on the floor next to him.
“Yeah,”
“You smell of burnt ash constantly, so I’m supposing that your skin is burnt?”
“Yeah,”
“Did it hurt?” Jouno smiled.
“Yeah,”
“Your only answers are ‘yeah’, I’ll bet when the one who bit me when he was a vampire is more fun than you,” Jouno clicked his teeth.
“Yeah,”
“UGHH!” Jouno groaned before he heard someones heart rate pick up.

Chapter Text
“What do we do with him?” Aya asked, the bird man now had Dazai constantly touching his shoulder who looked done.
“He sounds bored, poor man. Let’s interrogate him and then send him on his merry way without those horrid wings fluffing every now and then, the noise irritates me,” Jouno huffed, crossing his arms as he sat in the wheelchair.
“Are you just going to keep up the wheelchair act…?” Kyouka asked.
“Why of course! It’s quite convenient and people tend to avoid you more! And they watch themselves around me too,” Jouno smiled, closed eyes would be gleaming in delight.
“I wonder how Tecchou keeps up with you…” Teruko mumbled with a small grin.
“I HEARD THAT!”
They all were gathered around Hawks, Yosano was boredly revving her chainsaw, Ranpo was chewing on gum while plying a gum next to Dazai, who was staring at him struggle. Kyouka was holding a potted cactus, Kunikida was writing down something while looking at his wrist watch. Gin was sharpening her knife, with Hirotsu smoking a cigarette.
“Ah, he’s waking,” Jouno smiled
The bird slowly stirs and Dazai almost slapped him with the way he suddenly stirred. Ranpo backed to Kyouka who had put the potted cactus down and pulled out her knife. Gin had stood infront of Hirotsu, who looked ready to fight too. Everyone was on alert, and Yosano grinned widely as she held up her chainsaw.
“W-where am I?”
“In Yokohama, Keigo,” Touya looked to Hawks, who looked at the other with pained eyes.
“Why? Y-you died,” The blonde croaked.
“Leave the break up talk for later, now, lets get down to business!” Dazai clapped his hands as Ranpo chuckled with him. ‘Two gremlins’ Kyouka thought.
The door opens and Mori and Fukuzawa walk downstairs. They sit down on whatever chair is available, Fukuzawa had opted to stand and let Ranpo take his seat.
“My name is Fukuzawa Yuichi, I am the Director of the Armed Detective Agency,” Fukuzawa said, tucking his hands to his sleeves as Mori waved.
“I’m Ougai Mori, Boss of the port Mafia! I believe you have met my trusty man, Chisinau right?” Mori smiled.
Hawks eyes widen. The Agency sent men away to somewhere else. There were transfers in UA, weren’t they? Chisinau had only adopted them eight months before moving here. Was it so intricately planned- its them…. Who would have thought that they were actually working together, not for the guise of the public. But thery're everything they stand against, good and bad, balance and chaos-- they-
“Why would you work together? The Mafia is everything a Detective Agency stands against,” Hawks asked, eyes looking around. At this rate, it was difficult to discern who was in which division.
“Yeah, but… as someone who was in both i definitely agree that your wrong,” Dazai waved from his corner.
“Allow me to interrogate him!” Ranpo had confidently smirked.
“Uh no, interrogations should be left to the
interrogations experts?
Hm?” Jouno had said, voice condescending and proud.
“Yeah, but we kinda need him alive?” Ranpo shrugged.
“Thats why the Angel of Death is here.” Jouno barked back.
“I can hear his heart beat, I can tell when he’s lying!” Jouno argued.
“I can see his expression,”
“Can you two stop fighting, this bickering is too much, and the guy looks like he;s about to knock himself out,” Yosano interjected.
…
Kenji stared at Bakugou with confused golden eyes. Kenji was currently cornered by the explosion murder guy, and gods, Junichiro is terrified of this other boy.
“Hi?”
“Spill. You’re clearly stronger than you look,” Bakugou growled.
“No? In honesty, my quirk is much weaker than yours-” Kenji smiled
“Bullshit! I’m seen your quirk, it looked like you barely even scratched the surface! What are you hiding? Not anyone break the ground-” Bakugou stopped Kenji from trying hiding. “People from Yokohama holds secrets that even the government can uncover-”
Kenji was sick of this. So sick of it. Yokohama? Its just a place, why should he be so bothered of why he is born there? He was human too! This is annoyed, but he has to stay undefeated in this rain. Kenji only bowed and shook his head.
“I’m afraid you’re wrong, me and Juni are humble people from Yokohama. The orphanage does not treat those with quirks fairly, so it was a miracle that we got adopted. I was a farm boy before I was orphaned, so I don’t think my quirk is not that strong,” Kenji smiled.
Bakugou only got angrier, and lifted a hand, only to be stopped by someone who Kenji didn’t even think would try. Kaminari was shakily holding Bakugou’s back. Kenji just blinked and the colours shifted in his eye. Kaminaris white coloured world had been shifted to a shade of light grey, its faint, its small, but it had happened. Kaminari had seen Kenji and Junichiro’s small and hopeful message.
It worked.
“Oi dunce face-”
“Oi, k-kacchan lets not get mad yeah?”
Bakugou had gotten visibly angrier at that name and shoved Kaminari off his arm.
“Tch!”
As Bakugou stormed off, Kaminari had sighed a loud sigh. Kenji had patted Kaminari’s back.
“Thank you,” Kenji said.
“I may have just my friendship with Bakugou, man,” Kaminari groaned, rubbing his face.
“Uhm, why do you call Bakugou, ‘Kacchan’?” Kenji asked.
“Midoriya does that, we just follow in suit,”
Kenji had decided to walk with Kaminari that lunch break, since Junichiro had said he’s going to hide out in the school bathroom. Kenji had walked alongside Kaminari, and Kaminari had turned to ask a question.
“What did you mean by the orphanage treated you unfairly, the people back at your home did?” Kaminari asked.
Kenji had looked back, he had been called a monster for moving a mountain, people avoided him because of his brute strength, they had avoided giving him food as he was growing up, thinking it a punishment but his ability adapted to it, now he needs it to stay weak, to stay likeable.
“Ah… sometimes… I’m feared for my strength. I am stronger the hungrier I am. Im always hungry, i try not to stay too hungry. Hunger is a subject only those who’ve struggled can truly talk about,” Kenji had said, a smile on his face as he looked outside.
“Do you get hungry easily?”
“I always am,”
…
Junichiro was in the bathroom again, hiding from everyone again. He had been playing on his phone, this time restarted the worm catching game. It was fun in his opinion, this game. Chasing in circles for something.
“You hiding?”
“Jesus! Stop scaring me like that!” Junichiro yelled at the cubicle next to him, Shinsou was here too it seems. It was funny though, Junichiro hid in the bathroom a floor higher, which was conveniently a floor lower from Shinsou’s own class.
“Sorry, but can you really blame me? You’re always timid, and out of touch with reality,”
“I like to think Im too focused on reality,” Junichiro mumbled, looking back at his phone, watching the worm die as it ate its own tail.
“I lost my game…” Junichiro mumbled.
“Pity,” Shinsou mumbled.
Its silent, save for the sounds of Junichiro sighing when he keeps losing and the same munching game noises from his phone.
“Do you think
I’m
villainous
?”
“Nonsense, I’ve seen
villainous
, you’re literally the exact opposite,” Juinchiro answered, not even trying to pry his eyes off the game.
Its silent once more.
“Do you ever wonder, if you’re quirk was more suited for murder and villainous, like, you’re quirk if perfect for assassination, murder. I can hypnotise people with a word, thats villainous,” Shinsou croaked.
“Perfect for assassination”
huh? Junichiro swore he’s heard those words before. Maybe from a movie, or something… No, probably from Fukuzawa, the person had grey hair– heck maybe from Sigma, they were awfully prospective.
“I know what you mean,” Junichiro said softly, not looking up from his phone.
“Do you think I’m a monster?” Shinsou asked.
“No. No, no way.” Junichiro smiled to himself.

Chapter 12: phase 2 complete
Summary:
“Phase 2 is complete. Tecchou-san has gotten information that can potentially ruin the citizens perspective of their heroes.” Ango began.
“What is the catch?”
“We need someone to attack the school.”

Chapter Text
Tecchou puts the mask and his uniform and sheaths his sword. Everyone is asleep, he needs to patrol-
“Hello Tecchou-san,” Kenji suddenly appears next to him and Tecchou restrained his slash narrowly.
“Miyazawa, go back to sleep,” Tecchou said.
“I have slept, I’d like to go with you,” Kenji smiled.
Tecchou paused, he clearly remembers the threats that Chuuya has set on him. ‘Never by any means, bring them out without a proper reason.’.
“No.” Tecchou says finally and Kenji still stands.
“I’m… meeting someone important,” Tecchou says and Kenji noticed how the Hunting Dog looked slightly preturbed and just nods.
“I’m tired anyway,” Kenji said and Tecchou picks up the red case file and opened the door– only for Kenji to suddenly hug him.
“Be safe…” Tecchou hears those words and he pauses.
I am not his family.
“Hm,”
…
“Wait-!” Touya grabs the small child infront of him from bumping into someone and puts them aside.
“Are you okay?” Touya asked, his scars were healed up by Yosano- which in his opinion was the most painful thing. The 13 year old just shook their head, bi coloured hair messily tied.
“Wanna play?” The person grinned before rolling up their sleeve- but before they could, Touya had just given them a piece of lollipop.
“Yeah that’s… kinda all I have on me.” Touya shrugged and the 13 year old pauses and rolls his sleeve back down and smiled.
The kid scurries off and is picked up by an orange haired woman, who holds their hand with a gentle glint in her eyes.
Touya just sighs and turns his phone (ironically a flip phone.) and answers a text from Kyouka before someone began clapping behind him.
“I never saw someone handle Yumeno like that,” Dazai stood behind him with an amused expression.
“Huh?” Touya snapped, annoyed at this bandaged asshole. This guy barely did anything there, he just sat, waved, annoyed Kunikida-san, then after that, he would eat mushrooms, read the same book again and again and then sleep.
“Oh nothing… anyways, Kyouka needs you to handle something for her,” Dazai grinned.
“I got her text, yeah.” Touya ignored Dazai and continued walking.
“So, how many people have you killed?”
What.
…
Tecchou walks into a bar and the bartender automatically pulls a gun and glares at the Hunting Dog.
“Kami-san has already filled out the file for you.” The bartender just growls and passes the file.
“Tell him thank you, from me,” Tecchou picks up the file and notices how the handwriting looked messy about the information about All Might.
"just get out." The bartender snapped and Tecchou walks out the bar.
Tecchou opens the file and read everything he needs. He stops by a roof and properly reads it before he suddenly shreds up the file and points his sword to a familiar man.
“You,” Shouta Aizawa stands on the roof, eyes glaring at the Hunting Dog, hair floating as he tries to erase the ability.
“Me.” Tecchou says and slowly puts the sword down, uncaring how the hero was trying to look into his eyes.
…
Chuuya tied his hair into a bun, wears the chequered outfit and his platform boots, and also put in his eye contacts and sprayed the dye into his hair. He puts on his gloves and picks up his iPad.
“I’m going out,” Chuuya said to Junichiro, who was currently doing his homework.
“Chuuya-san,” Junichiro called and Chuuya turned around, with a small look of questioning, as he put on his mask.
“Yeah?”
“Be safe,” Junichiro smiled, eyes wrinkling from the smile.
I am not his family.
“Yeah.”
…
Todoroki presses the search engine again, and he notices an article deep within the many many untrue vlogs.
The Armed Detective Agency, the takes in a new member.
When things couldnt get worse, the Armed Detective Agency has picked up a new stray. The Agency members has been identified to be dangerous members of the public that handle cases that the police cannot handle – including cases regarding ability users.
For the first time, the agency takes in a non-local with a quirk. The details of the person will not be shared to the public, however, his quirk is a destructive and not efficient in handling cases, however, his thinking and willingness to join brought him into this unfortunate agency.
Yokohama wishes him best…

Todoroki pauses and clics on the picture, there was a picture of a small girl, holding a bunny keychain and holding it to a black haired man with a long black coat, face hidden by someone taking a selfie, a brown haired man with a pair of brown eyes and bandages. Lots and lots of it. The picture captioned ‘LMAMOZ WE BROUGHT THE WRONG TRADITIN HAHEHHA’
Todoroki slowly read another article.
The writer Edgar Allen Poe, declared missing
The aspiring author, author of ‘The Crow’ ‘The Black Cat’ and ‘Murders in the Rue Morgue’ has been missing for over 3 months. His home in America was ransacked through, the author and his works has been stolen. The police assume that the man, an ability user, was kidnapped by people of Yokohama. His disappearance is still under investigation.

“More unsolved cases about an ability user…” Todoroki just writes down again on his memo pad and sticks the sticky note on his wall, looking at every scrap of evidence he’s found. Almost nothing that gives a concrete idea what Yokohama is about.
He did his research on the Elite Hunting Dogs, only to find that one man is blind and paralysed, most like an act. No one would expose weakness about a military member in an article. The Port Mafia has barely anything, other than their boss suddenly rising to the position without much notice. The Armed Detective Agency was small but was declared terrorists once upon a time. And The Mimic, theres almost nothing about them, other than Sakaguchi Ango was a double spy to them. The Guild was disbanded, so barely anything on them either– except the fact that their leader now works as a surveillance man for any organization that offers money.
But…
“The Decay of the Angels…” Todoroki looks to the corner of his wall with nothing on it.
Todoroki only knows that it was a terrorist organization, nothing more.
“Yokohama… unleash your secrets… would you?”
…
The council sat around in the room, Fitzgerald holding a phone, amusedly smiling, Louisa beside him, looking through the papers. Mori sat at his seat, Kouyou sitting next to him, just sitting and sipping on the tea. Fukuzawa was currently sitting down, hands tucked into his sleeve and Ranpo next to him, playing his game.
“I apologise for my tardiness once more,” Ango, walks in, his tablet in his hand and he walks to the holographic screen and places his tablet in a slot, the screen lighting to life as a hologram of Touya was shown.
“Such a shame the young man chose the Agency,” Mori smiled.
“The young man will learn and redeem his past actions, after all, there is no right or wrong. Its only a matter of perspective, Mori-san,” Fukuzawa doesnt look up.
“Uhm, back to the topic at han-”
“Hm, thats silly, I thought that we were no better than that hero society we all oh so wish to eradicate?” Fitzgerald grins.
“That young man could have avenged his wrings and rebel against his father with us– but in the end chose an agency that only solves cases,” Mori retorted.
“Yo, old man, worry bout how your ability is currently making a mess with her crayons rather than fussing about the new guy!” Ranpo frowns.
“Ahahahh… of course, young man,” Mori just smiles and everyone turns to Ango again.
The government agent sighs and begins explaining the situation.
“Phase 2 is complete. Tecchou-san has gotten information that can potentially ruin the citizens perspective of their heroes .” Ango began.
“What is the catch?”
“We need someone to attack the school.”

Chapter 13: a new canvas
Summary:
"oh Touya you're such a patootie!" Dazai gleams.
"Where is Kyouka-chan..." Touya grimaced. His black hair was now free from hair dye. He wore a black coat (more low key kinda one) and a simple white button up, vest and long pants with a red tie. The bunny keychain hung loosely from his belt and Dazai only narrows his eyes.
"We brought two traditions together to welcome you, ya know?" Dazai said softly.
"okay Dazai-san did you take your meds today?" touya snapped.

Chapter Text
Junichiro sits down at his seat and he answers a text as immediately as it came. Kenji was hiding down the hall.
‘I feel bad…’ Junichiro thought to himself and he answers the text from the mafioso.
RyuunosukeAkutagawa : I’m through the school gates
JunichiroTanizaki : I’m ltry not prepared u murud ppl on like a daily basis dont killanyne pls akutagawss i beg u
RyuunosukeAkutagawa : noted
Junichiro shakily closes the flip phone and Kenji sheepishly runs in. The first few minutes, class was silent before the familiar pull of fabric caught his attention, Rashomun bit at his pant leg and he looked to Kenji who nods.
THe room covers in snow.
…
Todoroki looks at the specs of green snow– why was Nakahara using his quirk-
The door burst open, and present Mic was promptly silenced by a man wearing a mask and a all black, the clothes extending to a net, holding Present Mic aside and holding down a few of their classmates.
Todoroki was slammed to the ground, the air knocked out of his lungs- but he managed to catch Nakahara-Kenji, grab Bakugou and throw him a against the wall and Nakahra-Junichiro just manipulating the illusion, changing their appearance.
“Diablo!” Kenji grinned.
“Shut up, jinko is waiting.”
Traitors…
Why?
…
Atsushi walks through the halls, wearing measly yellow tinted glasses with his usual updo and walked through the hallways before his ears suddenly began ringing from how loud somewhere was. He just placed his hand on the ear, the blood trickles down and Atsushi finds himself eye to eye with Shouta Aizawa.
“I should have known.” His eyes glow a dim red and Atsushi’s purple yellow sunset eyes do not blink.
“Sorry, I dont get what you’re trying here,” Atsushi apologised, ignoring the buzzing of his cell phone in his pocket.
“Everyone from Yokohama are the same. You put an innocent front, you hurt those around you while claiming youre innocent, you kill… kill… and kill… and you never stop at all,” Aizawa glared.
Atsushi says npthing, so thats how it is. Somehow, Atsushi feels like this man infront of him may have had a persona; vendetta, not a professional one against Yokohamans.
“I’m not born in Yokohama,” Atsushi said simply and chuckled.
“It was nice to meet you,” He bowed a little before pouncing the man, activating byakko in a split second- akutagawa grabbed him, black pupils glaring.
“You’re late!” He heard Akutagawa’s strained voice.
“Ah- sorry!” Atsushi just pressed his hand on the new missing arm and runs with him.
“The other two has managed to fracture a few of their minds,” Akugatawa narrowly pins a hero to the wall, avoiding bullets.
“Phase 2 and a half-!” Atsushi jumped over another guy, some sort of blood circus.
“Done.”
…
Junichiro and Kenji adjusted their gear, and Junichiro looks at his flip phone, and reads the messages sent by his classmates.
IidaTenya : Why would you two betray us? We truly believed in your purpose to come here to change your life!
Ouch.
Chuuya walks to them with files and he had a wide grin on his face. Tecchou was behind him, quiet as he looked lifeless behind the mask.
“One last phase,” Chuuya just takes Kenji and Junichiro by the shoulders (he’s tiptoeing) and he give them a smile.
Juncihiro and Kenji gave a weak smile, they had grown attached to the class, saw their growth, how some had slowly believed in different causes, the difference in circumstances, and more. It’s… unfair.
“Arigato, Chuuya-san!” Kenji smiled back and CHuuya suddenly hugged them, and for some reason, neither of them let go.
Akutagawa walks back to the rooftop to meet them, he ignored his heaving chest and dials a number.
“Ango-san, we’ve got them out for good. Release Q.”
..
Ango holds a picture to his heart and he sighs.
“All units ready?” He asked the intercom, static echoed but so did a childs giggling.
“Where do we drop it off, sir?” An officer asked.
“Just at the border,” Ango said back and he glances at the picture.
“And make sure that they stay safe… please. We cant risk loosing more of our own,” Ango puts the frame down, a picture of Oda, Dazai and a few kids swarming around them.
He’ll do everything in their name. To keep the ones that they’d cherish safe. And Ango isnt about to let another child die at his own foolish desires.
…
If one could say the Hero Commision is a huge group, one would be wrong. All manned by a person. (my AU’s >0 )
“What do you mean that Hawks cannot be found?” The high mistress asked
“Hawks has been missing since he left to infiltrate the border…” The officer below her shakily answered.
“How about his tracker?” The mistress asked.
“Dead.”
“Our greatest success cannot be lost to the hands of those vile and filthy HUMANS! If all that we have worked for, keeping this hero society and the upcoming one FEARSOME of the place, then we’d lose EVERYTHING!” Her voice boomed.
“Ma’am-”
“Breaking News! Our news centre is being hacked by foreign Yokohaman- hello- cant- WAIT-”
The TV suddenly began playing and the screen glitches in and out and the screen went blank.
Loading up screen… connecting device… device connected… files uploaded…
“HELLO JAPAN!”
The screen lit up to a brown ahired man, wearing a bolo tie, a brown trench coat and a lot of bandages grinned. He waved amusedly as he sat in a dark room, only the device light illuminating his features.
“Yokohama! Oooo scrazy!”
The man giggles as he twirled in the chair.
“Shut the program down.” The Mistress barked.
“T-The firewalls has been encrypted…” The secretary hastily typed in.
“Then use the passwords!” The Mistress yelled.
“They recoded it…”
“In under 2 minutes!?”
…
Katai yawns and just types another round of codes and he looks to Kunikida next to him, helping him.
“Staying too close to the screen damages your eyesight…” katai mumbled.
“According to my schedule, I still have 2 hours left on the screen, so I doubt my blue light exposure will be high, compared to you,” Kunikida replies. Katai just looks at Kunikida who just pauses and sighs.
“If you do not want the help, do voice your opinion-”
“Nah… thanks Doppo… for staying,”
“Whatever.”
(they give me homie vibes. Besties all the way)
…
“Why is there a blabbermouth on the screen?” Vlad king asked as he regrouped with the other teachers.
“Thats a man from the Agency…” Aizawa narrowed his eyes.
The screen glitches and the screen turns to everyones favourtie reporter.
“Hey Japan, its me, Chisinau… though really, that cover name is soooo 2018 right?”
The reporter takes off his hat and he shoes out the black dye in his hair. He takes out his green eyes contacts and revealed brown and blue eyes and took off his mask.
“My name is Nakahara Chuuya, if that name sounds familiar, it is. You all watched my boys on Sports Festival yeah?”
What a sickening grin.
The screen pans to Junichiro and Kenji smiling and they walked behind Chuuya.
“So, in honour of our dropping out,”
The honey blonde said sweetly.
“We decided to reveal everyones heroes tragic tales.”
…
Tecchou walks into the bar again and this time, the bartender wasnt there, a black haired man with maroon red eyes and a tired slouch smoke a cigratte on the counter, a red file provided already.
“Murakami,” Tecchou calls and the man just sighs, sliding the file.
“My boy was killed,” The man said.
“I’m sorry for your loss. You shouldnt be calling me, our deal has been ended.” Tecchou said.
“No. I want you to have
more
dirt on this specific winged bastard.” The smoker said and just puts his cigarette out and walks away.
“Murakami.” Tecchou called and the man turns to look at him.
The man doesnt say anything.
“The Rat shouldnt be poking its nose into uncharted territory, if you value your life,” tecchou said.
“I’m a rat, im meant to be killed. But why not make the hunt thrilling eh?”
“I’ll see you back home.”
…
Todoroki looks at the endless files that was sent to
everyones
devices, every device had been ‘blessed’ with information after information and dirt of every hero on the chart. Murders, hidden crimes, rape, sexual abuse, arson, murder. All of it.
He looks back to the wall of post its and printed pages and walks to the Decay of the Angels and finally realises something.
“It wasnt just one organization– not just anything. It was just a decay of man kind…” he mumbled in realisation and he moved the post its around. Tachihara, back in the Mafia section and Ango to the middle.
“There were no sides.” Todoroki mumbled and slowly removed the borders between the.
“No sides. Yokohama is one, not divided.” he mumbled again.
"that's why."
…
Dazai looks to the young child walking on the street with a sly smile. Its quite ironic really, to divide a whole society even further, they chose to sent out the one thing that brought whole of Yokohama together.
"so... that's.. a murder weapon?" Touya asked, not realizing he dodged a nuclear bomb of a child by just giving them a lollipop.

Hawks wakes up on a bed, in a dim room, the light coming in through the window was soft, it must have been early morning… but a sight of a woman with a clipboard and a man next to her wearing a mask sends him into a state he couldnt restrain for some reason.
He jolted awake and he tried to run but was stopped by a gentle touch, it wasnt even real. The demon looking figure of violet light just gently held him from attacking the doctor. A young girl commands the figure and Hawks is slowly put down, his senses coming back together.
Hawks looks to the corner of the bed, still retained as he reached for a weapon- any weapon. A blonde just helps the crytalline figure and Hawks slowly calmed down as the light adjusted and the doctor no longer wore a lab coat and a sadistic smile, only a simple white button up, a tie and a skirt. The man next to her just watched with an unamused expression.
“Hello!” The small boy greeted.
Hawks was seated up by the blonde man.
What happened? He only remember being interrogated before knocked out by a chain-
Hawks places a hand on his neck, there was no scar or any sign that his neck was cut open. The doctor only wore a satisfied smile- not that sickeningly sadistic grin she wore down in that musty room.
“Allow us to introduce ourselves,” The doctor smiled, uncaring how Hawks was reaching for the scalpel on the table.
“Hey hey bird braid! The scalpel is our doctors favourite!” The small boy just holds Hawks hand and puts a stick in it, earning a confused glare from Hawks.
All he has to do is flap his wi-
“We glued your feathers!” another voice cackled, brown hair and a bolo tie, with the same white haired man in a wheelchair, both of them chuckling with a dark amused expression.
“I bought them the glue,” The small girl wearing a red kimono just nods, the huge demon woman disappearing at a small order.
The blonde wearing the suit just sighs and Hawks tries to flap his wings but he could hear the delicate fibre of the feather tear as he tried to.
“Super glued.” The white haired man grinned.
…
Aizawa walks into a bar, it was empty, and a man was manning the bar, shaking drinks and pouring it into a glass. A man in a Hunting Dog uniform sat at the counter, eyes blank as he picks up the glass.
“You’re the Nakahara’s uncle.” Aizawa said, sitting two seats away from the Hunting Dog.
“Hm,” The Hunting Dog doesnt move and he drinks the whiskey on the counter.
“Why?” Aizawa asks.
“Because… you heroes posed a threat to my country, so much so that they had to make an elite unit,” The Hunting Dog just snakes his hand into his unfiorm, the bell earring chiming as he did so.
“My husband lost his eyesight from the experimentations, the surgeries. All because you heroes and your society couldnt accept
normal
humans without genetic mutations or powers. Or those with a more genetic mutation,” he said and looked at the necklace, that had a wedding ring on it.
There was silence in the bar. Only the sound of the barkeep cleaning glasses. The Hunting Dog just stares at his reflection in the glass and he turns to the pro-hero.
“Don’t bother trying to attack me,” The Hunting Dog abruptedly stood up and then turned to Aizawa.
“You wouldnt win,”
…
Touya types out the paperwork and he looks at the keychain on his belt. He looks up to see Ranpo, currently playing a game and desk covered in sweets and wrappers. He sees Dazai, half asleep, mouth foaming after eating yet another mushroom. He looks to see Naomi, scurrying around carrying papers.
He looks to Kunikida, who is seated with a poise manner and writing the reports on his laptop, crossing things off his list from time to time. He looks to Kyouka, the young girl was just looking at the computer screen, trying to understand what is going on on the screen.
This place did not care if he was a murderer, they only cared about who he is now, not then, not tomorrow, now. They want to ensure that who they are now can help, with good or wrong. Touya looks back to the screen and he continued typing out the report, and heard Doctor Yosano comment how their favourite wimp wasnt around to tease. Touya blinks confusedly at the conversation. Isnt that one of the others in Musufatsu now?
“Smuggling you across the border was deadass difficult,” Dazai mumbled to Touya, just pinching his cheek, earning a grimace from Touya.
“Touya, may I speak to you?” Kyouka said softly. Touya nods, following the small girl to the rooftop and he was met with pots over pots of plants, cacti, basil, strawberries, a mini garden.
“Uh… kyouka-chan?” Touya asked but Kyouka just gently hands him a watering can.
“Help me, its for when kenji comes home,” Her smile held a soft glint and Touya dared not betray the gentleness in his… frankly much younger mentors voice.
“Uhuh,” Touya smiles back and he listens to Kyouka teach him how to water the plants.
…
“KENJI RUN RUN RUN!” Junichiro screams as the two of them were running, before Kenji just lifted Junichiro over his shoulders and threw off his sandals.
“IM TRYING, JUNICHIRO!” Kenji yelled back as they run.
The familiar chime echoes the air and snow began falling as Bakugou suddenly pauses as he recognises the green flakes in the air.
“THIS ISNT OVER, TRAITORS!” bakugou yelled and the two of them ducked into the cover of a shadow and Bakugou charged, only to be stabbed by a black sharp object.
“But you will.”

Chapter Text
Q skips around the two with a gleeful expression, others ignore them as they happily hum but for some reason, their ability only works on some of them! No fair! At home, all they had to do was bump into someone and they could mess up said person’s mind!
Ugh! Even if they tried, there is a hero or some bystander with a funny looking outfit eye them carefully. How troublesome!
They walk and walk before bumping into a blonde with some weird stick frame. The blonde just notices the young child and immediately apologises.
“Ah, sorry there kid, whats someone like you doing out here alone?” The stick man bends to their level and Q grins. Finally. FINALLY-
“Uh, its not safe for someone like you, such a young cut boy ya know?” no. I’m not a boy!
“Im not a boy! Im not a girl either. I’m Q.” Q frowns and the blonde immediately pauses and nods.
“Sorry, Q, so, where are your parents?”
Q stares at the boy and for some reason, their nerves feel like punching his face…
Q just rolls up their sleeve and the razors dug into their skin and they giggle as the stick man’s expression darkens.
“Wanna play?”
…
“Breaking News! Manic and chaos spreads around in Downtown as everyone around is experience hallucinations and attacking one another in the midst of their daze. Whoever is experiencing the hallucinations appear to have a purple handprint on their skin.” The newscaster, Kasai, said as pictures of people began screaming and running manically, some trying to attack each other.
“And who do you think is responsible, my dear friend?” Kasai asked his fellow newsperson.
“A child.” The newscaster, Haruno, said, slamming the papers on the table.
“A child, unidentifiable by any agency or technology! This kid is off the rails crazy! He’s just standing there, laughing as he continues-!”
Cut.
Junichiro stares at the screen and glances to where Tecchou was bandaging his arm. He looked at Junichiro and tilted his head.
“Need something?” He asks.
“Did… the Port Mafia release Q?”
“Who?”
There is considerable silence and Kenji comes back into the apartment, a small wound under his eye, cutting his cheek, holding Atsushi on his back, who was currently asleep.
“So… are we ready to go-?” Kenji asked, Chuuya picked Atushi off Kenji’s back and tented to the weretigers wounds.
Junichiro rushed to Kenji and held his cheek, assessing how bad it was.
“Its just a simple cut!” Kenji smiled and junichiro frowns.
“Kenji… have you eaten?”
Kenji opened his mouth and frowned.
“No..”
“Come on,”
…
The bird brain was restrained on the bed, with a half asleep doctor watching over him. The doctor snores. Loud.
“You’re watching me,”
The doctor rubs her mouth of drool and tilts her head.
“No, you’re good looking but I wouldn’t stare at you like a creep,” The doctor sighs and just opens a bottle of wine from under the bed.
“I dont think that follows decorum.”
“Im wearing clothes,” Yosano shrugged.

ANOTHER SHORT CHAPTER BABIES SORRY ALSO CALL ME CAL PLS KUDOS AND COMMENT I LOVED WRITING Q, THEYRE SO SILLY
Chapter 16: Update ^^
Summary:
hey guys! ive been really sick lately )and also bonus with physio lol.
Chapter Text
Hey guys! Sorry for not uploading but here is something to occupy your minds with if you're waiting!
In my fic, Kenji and Junichiro are close, but in the anime and manga, they are just two colleagues in the agency that truly look out for one another-- a blossoming growing friendship, so I decided to just expand that thought.
The characters are sometimes OOC becase I'm trying to explore the topic of Protect vs Defend. This is actually a fun little side project! Junichiro protects, he doesn't listen to any warning, once someone he knows and cherishes is in danger he will do everything in his power to make sure that there is no harm placed upon them-- whereas Kenji defends, he is aware of the dangers and he chooses to fight off the attack instead of attacking the danger-- until the cant defend anymore.
Chuuya has hetrochromania bcs in the manga he has brown eyes and in anime its blue?? So like, make it two (also it also adds to the idea that he is a vessel as well). He is brotherly to Kenji as seen in the anthropology (idk how to spell). This is actually shown through official art and the light novels as well, being fatherly to Akutagawa, making up for what Dazai didn't do for the young lad
Tecchou is loyal. His loyalty knows no bounds. he was loyal to the Hunting Dogs-- but his loyalty changed, it began Jouno as seen in how he fucking beat up someone HALF HIS AGE TO FIND HIM??? "For five seconds, Ill place Jouno above justice" or smth I forgot but BROOO. if that's not loyalty idk what is. He is loyal thats a FACT.
Also the reasons why I chose some ships and why I didn't choose some is this -- Chuuya and Dazai yes they may seem fruity and gay as fuck, but its thee same relationship as putting your full trust in someone, a soulmate and a soulmate doesn't have to be a romantic sense. Their teamwork is impeccable and they work together like yin and yang. I did Jouno and Tecchou becausee while it is the exact same concept, I believe its the type where they cant admit that its love. They mistake it for companionship por firendship easily so thats why i chose it as romantic sense.
Also fr the MHA side, i'd like to apologize if I am making any of your favourite characters look like assholes, but I am merely characterizing them by the misguided teachings of the society they ive in. I like to write from experience, I grew up in a private school with the same people for many many years, so my views on other people were pretty streamlines and was very wrong to assume so before placed in public school. It opened my eyes and Im truly grateful to make friends of different places and different upbrigings.
NOTE! The latest of this story is when Fyodor is killed (idk wtf is going on.)
More about me for context! : I'm learning to write and my English isn't my best language. I love social studies and literature. I've read many many books and also the whole PJO and even the Magnus Chase series! You can call me 'Cal' since its part of my writing name for my (hopefully) future novels ^^ please feel free to ask any questions or even suggests ideas for future fics :]
Chapter 17: Phase 3 and a study in genome
Summary:
SORRY FOR THE MANY MONTHS OF ABSENCE>< I have an exam today but take this yum yums also idk wtf is happening in BSD rn
Chapter Text
“What do you mean by ‘a full attack force?’ “ Atsushi blinked at Dazai.
“I mean, attack, little kitty . We go in change, kill–” Akutagawa perked up but was nudged by Atsushi.
“No killing, we have 2 more months.” Atsushi whispered.
There is commossion in the room. The group had relocated themselves to another apartment building with the necessary items for attack, fleeing and murder- (oops.) Junichiro was currently pressing ice on Tecchou’s neck, where the man was strangled by a hero. Crumbling the society’s heroes are one thing, fighting them is another thing. They can only outnumber them so far.
“What now?” Junichiro asked.
“One more person. All Might.” Chuuya came into the house, small scrapes on his clothes.
“Who did this?” Akutagawa asked, narrowing his eyes.
“No one I cant handle.” Chuuya scoffed and turned to the phone.
“Who are they sending in?” Akutagawa asked.
“Kunikida-kun,” Dazai started listening, Atsushi smiled at the mention of Kunkida.
“Who else?” Tecchou asked.
“Old man Hirotsu, blind guy and uh…” Tecchou visibly lighting up at the mention of Jouno
…
Junichiro is in the server room, the sound of machines beeping echoes. He presses a few keys on the laptop as he hooked wires to other wires. He looks to the checklist that was given to him by Chuuya. This checklist means that Katai will be able to hack into every single computer for one last act.
“I’m hooked up.” Junichiro said through the comms. “Can I leave?” he whispered.
“Message received, Snow, you have been given access to extract” Teruko’s voice replied.
“Just say it normally, damn it…” Junichiro activated his ability as he dropped back down from the vents.
He slipped through the news channels security quite easily and he dipped into an alleyway where he opened a sewer and opened it, climbing into the sewer.
“You’re late.” Akutagawa said.
“The computer room is tiny, damn it.” Junichiro snapped back.
“Excuses, excuses.” He mumbled as they walk along the side. The sewage stank. Even Yokohama’s sewage was cleaner, in Juinchiro’s opinion. How did he know? Hey he did recon missions from sewage systems… that sounds.. Not as ideal.
“Snow, Diablo, above you are heroes, proceed with caution.” Tecchou’s voice buzzed through the comms. Akutagawa continued without care and just walked two sewer opening down.
“Diablo to Sword, are there heroes from our current location?” Akutagawa called and after a moment of radio silence.
“Proceed three openings down.”
…
The group took the train. There was bound to be heroes at the checkpoint who would be checking ID and will be doing blood tests.
“So, here’s the plan, Dazai-kun will erase our abilities before the heroes take our blood for the blood test,” Kunikida began before spoke.
“What if we’re exposed?” Hirotsu asked, fidgeting as he wasnt allowed to smoke on the train.
“Kill.” Jouno and Yosano agreed.
“No.” Kunikida snapped.
The group appear on the platform, Yosano pushing the ‘handicapped’ man out of the train a the others followed in suit.
“Well, I’ll see you guys soon!” Dazai grinned, shaking each of their hands and just letting Hirotsu ruffle his hair.
He rushed to the bathroom to loop the cameras. The man just taking out his phone and pushing in a USB drive for Katai to access. He just passes the cameras as it loops, and soon, Dazai is back on the train, waving to them goodbye.
“Passport.” The officer said as Kunikida just handed it over.
“ ‘Kunikida Dopp’- why do you sound like my son’s former maths teacher-?” The officer blinked in surprise.
“I am not surprised if I did teach your son mathematics in middle school a few years back.” Kunikida said simply.
“Uh.. yeah… uhm, are these your companions?” The officer cleared his throat and facing the rest.
“Yes, we are visiting,” Yosano nodded.
Jouno stays silent, sitting pitifully in the wheelchair as Hirotsu held the handles. They went through the checkpoint and they have been tested.
“Well, you’re all negative considering the Ability testing, you’re free to pass through. Enjoy your stay,” The officer smiled and let them walk through the gantry. The group is greeted by a man with dark hair and maroonish red eyes.
“Phase 3?” He simply asked and Kunikida nodded. The tired man just sighed and walked away, hand on his chest as he did so.
“Who was that?” Yosano asked.
“An informant that has been supplying Yokohama with details of heroes for years- from what the report said, his son died to Hawks a few weeks back.” Kunikida answered.
…
“Light Snow!” Junichiro called before he disappeared from Bakugou’s explosion. Damn it! They had fast skills and they moved in the ability like one.
“Spread out.” Yaorouzu said as everyone paced out– all hands were on deck to find the Yokohamans– any ability user were caught on site.
There was silent and the sound of the window creaking, but no windows opened. They resorted to just blowing the room. They were gone.
The two of them, the Nakaharas and the father, were currently wandering Musuftasu, as if waiting for one final piece or something to unfold. Midoriya was worried about something, All Might have nothing on him- nothing at all.
That's what makes him scared.
Only All Might has nothing on him. What if they do find something that incriminated him-? What if they found out about Midoriya-
…
“Okay how the fuck do we get info on the living action figurine,” Yosano groaned as she paced around the room- following pace with Kunikida.
“That is an interesting question,” Jouno nodded.
“We kidnap him!” Yosano nodded.
“No kidnapping- no killing- no mass genocide- no interrogating!” Kunikida cut through the discussion.
“Awh.” Jouno frowned.
They continued talking– because how the fuck do you get horrible and ba material on a guy glorified by the people and the masses? Because they sure don't know how.
“We retrace our steps,” Hirotsu said slowly, putting away the cigarette.
“Yeah sur, lets go back to the beginning!” yosano remarked sarcastically.
…
Todoroki looked at the board. Things made sense now.
Tachihara, a small drawing on a stick man since there was no official image of him, all he was known for was infiltrating the Port Mafia as part of the Hunting Dogs, stuck in the Port Mafia. Logic in this society did not apply to the logic of the current Yokohama society.
‘“A transfer will be made.” Mori Ougai said with a smile. After all, no help is offered without a price. ’
The article line didn't make sense. Why had he stated that in the press only to be rebutted by the Director of the Agency. This didn't make sense. Why was Yokohama acting back? The world has left them alone for so long, for years, and did not attack- so why did they?
Unless– if the theory he applied was correct, then the Commission has been lying to them for years. So many years. Yokohama never tried to attack, they were defending themselves– only for the Hero Commission to try to take the land.
A study in Abilities,
Written by Sigma Nakajima
In recent years, the topic of ‘Abiities’ is a common subject for people to be curious about. Why is the world so afraid of them? Why are they much dangerous than quirk users?
According to a survey by the Yokohama Police Department, the amount of Ability Users has significantly reduced due to the stigma surrounding them. I for one, took the liberty to ask and work with professionals regarding this matter.
Quirks are hereditary genes, built in someones genome, its in the genetic data and is altered with the mixing genes of parents. Those without quirks are bron without the gene. It usually ends up as a ‘bad thing’ to be quirkless, but those with quirks are 60% proven to be lesser humans.
Abilities however, comes from ones soul and sacrifice. Someone doesnt get an ability at birth, they get it after a cataclysmic event.
Anonymous Ability User: “I don't remember what exactly resulted in my ability manifesting, but I remember when I was younger, I wished to know why everyone around me ignored me, treated my presence like a mere stain. It must have been when my sister was murderer, and I wished to kknow what my parents were hiding- I touched a surface and memeories came to me.”
Interviewer: “Were the memories yours, Mr []?”
Anonymous Ability User: “No. I saw myself in it. It was my mothers.”
With further deduction, it also can be passed down. There are instances where abilities have manifested in a few individuals despite not going through the event. Such as Ms Mizuki Tsujimura, an agent of the Special Division for Unusual Powers, who manifested the Ability without further notice after the murder of her mother.
She retells the story as ‘It was something so sudden, I had something clinging to my skin, hiding in my shadow. I couldnt get rid of it, but it didn't look like it wanted to separate– only then did I get the news of my mothers death that this clinging shadow was my mothers ability.’
Abilities are what keeps the current human population still human. You cannot identify an ability by looking into someones genome or genetical data. Its edited into their souls. Quirks make humans, well, inhumane. After a while, they lose that small shred of very little humanity they had.
Quirks are the dangerous ones.
Chapter 18: Different values, same upbringing.
Summary:
“I just want to protect my family.” The person said, hand not reaching for the sword.
“And to do that, I need to eliminate the threat. You heroes havent been able to seek him out. Neither did you realise the underground networking of bullets that reverse quirks.” The person continued as Aizawa blinked in realisation.
“How did you-”
“One of our own has been taken by them. If we do find the network location faster than you did, it only proves you heroes cannot keep your country safe.”

“I’m going to kill her.” Tecchou mumbled as he looked through the news.
“Who? Need help disposing of the body?” Akutagawa appeared right next to him, curious as Atsushi tried to pull him away.
“No. It’s something I need to do myself.” tecchou mumbled as he took his Hunting Dog hat as he stormed out.
…
“Blood runs thicker than water, no? You believe that these people genuinely love you?” a woman on the hospital bed asked, brown hair tied in a long braid with green eyes. Tecchou hates that he got his hair colour and texture from her.
“They do, unlike someone who gave birth to me for the sole wish to get a mixture of you and Father’s quirk.” Tecchou glared, anger seething in his tone.
“Me and Teisuke had done well in making you! But you decided to be born without a quirk. Such a shame to even think about!” his mother yelled back. Tecchou stared at her, unfeeling as she went on.
Tecchou had took the bus to Ehime Prefecture to meet the woman who gave birth to him. Thats all she was. His father was more of a father, at least he bothered enough to teach Tecchou how to use the sword. His father was someone who graduated from Samurai School, though Tecchou was condemned from learning due to being quirkless, he allowed Tecchou to watch and adapt it better.
“Make it your own.” Was what his father would tell him.
The hospital had called Tecchou that his mother was dying, tonight was probably the time she would pass. Tecchou was only here as an obligation as her son. Tecchu wishes she would stop, go to sleep and give him peace.
…
Midoriya was patrolling with Aizawa that night, the Yokohaman that was seen near rumoured villain headquarters like a plague. As if they were trying to stake someone out. But tonight, the Yokoham stood above a building, standing with binoculars, wearing a red uniform with a mask over it, sword by their waist, hair messy as they studied the building opposite them.
“Eraser-head sensei-!” Midoriya mumbled to Aizawa who glared at Midoriya to shut up.
“Mercy, my mother just passed away.” The person turned around, the holes in the mask for their eyes peeking a shine of gold in them.
“Whats your goal, really, sir?” midoriya asked.
…
“Q has been taken.” Hirotsu let out a long and annoyed sigh.
“Wh-hat!?” Atsushi mumbled, clearly memories of what happened last time running through his mind.
“We have Dazai’s blood to erase their ability, but right now we need to find their location.” Hirotsu cut him off.
“What do you suggest?” Jouno suggests.
“You’re not… part of this bit..” Chuuya pointed out.
“No, but Tecchou decided to make it his problem.” Jouno mumbled.
…
How exactly did they know about the bullets, one might ask? Well, someone here doesn't like their schedules ruined.
Kunikida hated this. Wearing masks and being terrorists!? Its like being the exact ideal that the Decay of Angel’s wanted!!!?!?
So right now, some delirious guy was holding a gun to his head, at least Kunikida wasnt here on mission- he just wanted groceries…
“Don’t come any nearer, or he gets it!” He was supposed to be back at 2000! Oh. Nononono.
A young boy, a circle man, and one with red spiked up hair. Why does Kunikida feel like this is going to be horribly wrong? Kunikida did what he thought best, pushed the man off and grabbed the kid in the line of fire, getting shot himself.
It’s fine. It’s just a shot in the calf. We’ll be fine. It’s fine. For some reason though, Kunikida could feel his blood shifting. If anything, it was like something trying to eliminate itself. What was in the bullet?
…
“The bullet has DNA,” Yosano said as she took the bullet out of the microscope. Kunikida nodded.
“A quirk. Part of someone’s genome can erase quirks, permanent or temporary is unknown,” She continued.
“So the one who manufactures these bullets can erase quirks?” Chuuya asked.
“More like reverse the genome to how it was in the womb– human.”
Junichiro gulped. That's not good. At least it's useless against Ability Users– but not other quirk users. What about the others in UA- no. Don't get attached. Don't get attached. Don't get attached. Don't get attached. Don't get attached. Don't get attached. Right.
…
Q frowns when the person infront of them was incredibly gentle! Thats not air, how did these people find out so fair! NO FAIRNOFAIR! They’re not playing!
“Play with me!” Q screamed as the person now walk away, leaving them in the room. Fine! Q runs into the room and hits their head, blood trickling from where they bashed their head. Affect someone- affectsomeoneaffectsomeone!
“You shouldn't do that…” Q looked up, a young girl seated on a chair, chained by the wrist and ankles, long blue hair and a single horn.
“Ne, friend, want to play?” Q asked, grinning.
“We can’t, he will find out and-” The girl warned before a man walked in with a plague mask.
“Remember Q, anyone who wears a mask is a coward.” Dazai said as he played with them.
“Hm? That's so funny! Why do they hide?” Q asked.
“Because that's what humans are, cowards. But we’re not human- we’re not cowards.”
“Is Mister Chuuya a coward?” Q asked curiously, their hands stop tearing the doll apart from Dazai’s stitching.
“He is a human, so he is a coward.” Dazai smiled, picking up the arm and stitching it back to the doll.
That night, the rubber cage didn't feel so lonely.
“A coward…” Q gasped in fake shock, before giggling as the person glared at them.
…
Kenji was eating his bun on a roof, sitting next to Junichiro, who just held him close. The strawberry filling felt foreign on his tongue that rejected food in itself.
“I… want to go home,” Junichiro mumbled.
“I do too…” Kenji frowned, looking at the sky.
“This place… will never change.” Junichiro said so softly.
“Ango-san said we just need to complete one last thing.” Kenji reassured him.
…
“This is Sword, Bell, I’ve found his location-” Tecchou said as he hid from the soldiers wandering the area.
“This is Bell, Sword, come back!-”
…
“He has been on radio silence for 12 hours!” Jouno slammed his arm on his armrest, anger crawling upon his skin.
“We cant get out!” yosano snapped. “Not until Nakahara returns from his scouting.”
“I scout better!” Jouno growled.
“You’re blind.” Akutagawa said.
“I’ll sab you-!”
“Technically, I won when we last fought.” Akutagawa just eeded to add fuel to the fire, didn't he-?
The door opened and a bloodied tecchou walked in, his head was bleeding but his unifor was intact, his eyes looked dazed and Yosano wasted no time in trying to heal him- stabbing his neck, and watched as he barely took his last breath, heart stopping and butterflies fly up.
“ Suehiro?” Jouno called.
“All of One is planning an invasion. Do we have enough people at Yokohama?” tecchou croaked.
“We have the strongest there,” Yosano reminded.
…
“More!” Ranpo demanded as naomi just side eyed him.
“Ranpo-san, its been 2 minutes since you last ate!” She huffed.
“More!”
Notes:
hey guys! Just a little smth before I go for my exams again. We're amost there!! Im almost DONE WITH THIS. I do apologise if these are Out of Character or not following any canon BSD or MHA alr <3, I'm dying.

Chapter 19: a war of the strongest
Summary:
Teruko just stared at the file that was sent in by Ango. huh, so this was the plan, a poorly done drawing of Jinko missing a leg, Diablo was biting a wooden tree bark, Sword was just laying on the ground, sleeping, and the ginger executive was cackling surrounded in red ink.
So they plan to create a distraction and use corruption.. She smirked. She has never witnessed Corruption in itself, but she does know she has to use Corpse’s ability to subdue it. She can prepare a helicopter, yeah she can do that.
'Ms Teruko Okura, please ensure that Dazai returns safely. All of them. Please.' Was typed neatly below the whole report.
Teruko gave a tired smile, of course she can, its the least she could do to help them.

Chapter Text
Ranpo stares at the screen where Dazai was busy drawing stickmen figures of them. He was busy chewing on a dried mango dusted with more sugar as Naomi was busy trying to clear the boes of snacks littered around the table.
“Pull up the one where Atsushi loses another leg,” Ranpo grinned as Dazai lifted another sheet of paper.
“This is the plan.” he nodded as Dazai gave a thumbs up.
…
The hikikomori continued typing away, destroying firewall after firewall, knowing that behind him, he’s old friend was busy sweeping his room. He was busy breaking down another firewall before a cup of water was placed beside him.
Kyouka was smiling gently as she continued… right, Kunikida was at Musufatsu, right now, Katai was alone in his house.
Katai watched the CCTV footage of when Kunikida got shot, and traced the footage back to an underground system of drug smuggling and children trafficking, but their main MO was their bullets that reversed the DNA of someone back temporarily, making them powerless for quirkless people, but for those with Abilities, they’ll be rendered just gunshot injured.
He worked with Touya, who first grimaced at the man’s shut in ness, and they worked together to pinpoint the exact location to relay to the Musufatsu team, knowing that one of their own was trapped under ground as well.
…

…
Junichiro just wrapped his wrist and pinned back his hair before he stood atop the top of the building, watching the people carry on below them, however, with more caution than anaught. Hm,they’re loosing faith in their heroes, its only time when the League of Villains show their faces.
“Light Snow.” he gently spoke as Chuuya activated his ability, just enough to mke a nearby (empty) building crumble, junichiro summoned some illusions of people. Everyone ran, no one came to help them.
Except for UA students.
“They’re using kids to keep em safe,” Chuuya frowned, almost rolling his eyes.
“They dont do well in search and rescue,” Junichiro nodded. In the building sat kenji, ready to fight them if necessary. This was a recon mission.
