Chapter Text

In The New World.

Another sunny, bright day in the other half of the grandline and the air smelled like sea salt out in the sea.

One thing for sure, Ace was definitely having the time of his life. 

Everyone on the Moby Dick was celebrating to their heart's content, as The Whitebeards pirates were partying very hard as It has been three months since Ace had joined the Whitebeard pirates and a month since Ace became the commander of the second division as well too.

Whitebeard was drinking from his large mug, having the largest grin plastered on his face, watching his sons partying together with The cheer of joy from those was one to be remembered. One thing for sure is that they did love parties. Meanwhile, some of the nurses were scolding him on drinking too much but The Yonko waved it off with no concern. 

Today was supposed to be an joyous occasion after all.

“Hey look over there!” Someone shouted, pointing over in the distance. 

The cheering of celebration and partying had stopped, replaced with mutters, while Whitebeard didn't make a reaction, instead simply raised an eyebrow as his gaze followed the direction of where one of his sons were pointing at. 

Everyone else followed Pops gaze, and saw an giant wooden pillar sticking out of the sea. 

Marco stepped forward, squinting his eyes at the sight. “Is that an Den-Den Mushi-yoi?”

It was quite an odd sight, to see a Giant size of what looked to be an Den-Den Mushi on top of a pillar that was sticking out of the ocean in the middle of nowhere. Then again, this was The Grandline itself, and everyone was bound to see something weird.

Upon closely inspection, thanks to someone passing binoculars, they saw advanced parts attached to this particular Den-Den Mushi.

Suddenly the sky slowly darkens, as dark grey clouds formed in the sky. Cutting off the sunlight for miles and miles, while the seas were strangely remaining calm with no harsh wind as well. 

Eventually Whitebeard narrows his gaze, putting down his mug. The others were muttering, immediately sobering up, feeling the tension in the air. 

Then the entire Moby Deck was inside a bubble-like barrier that had appeared out of nowhere with a ‘popping’ sound.

“What the-?!” Ace spitted out the food from his mouth, a scowl appearing on his face. 

East Blue, Dawn Island. 

“EEEEEEEEEEEEEHHHH!?!” 

Every villager screamed all at once, within Foosha Village. As everyone stared up at the darker cloudy sky that showed no ounce of sunlight and then there was the bubble-like barrier that had the entire Island itself inside. 

Makino looked up, with worry written all over her face, standing outside of The Bar. 

“Gum-Gum Pistol!” A familiar Voice yelled out. 

Hearing this, most of the villagers turned to see Luffy who had came out of nowhere and stretched out his arm and aiming to hit the bubble-like barrier. 

However once it had hit, Luffy was suddenly knocked back by an invisible punch that sended him crashing into a tree. It was like Luffy had punched himself instead then. 

Makino gasped in worry, running over towards the fifteen year old boy. “Luffy!’ she cried out. 

East Blue, The Baratie.

Zeff grunted, leaning against the table while looking up at the bubble-like barrier that was now trapping The Baratie itself.  

The other chefs grimace at the unconscious form of Sanji who tried kicking the bubble-like barrier himself but obviously failed.

Sabaody Archipelago.

Rayleigh sighed deeply, standing outside of Shakky’s bar while looking over at the panicking crowd in the distance. He hummed thoughtfully about the bubble-like barrier that surrounding The Archipelago itself, Rayleigh then glancing back at Shakky who was standing next to him. 

“I guess there's no work today..” The Dark King amusingly said. 

Marineford

Sengoku was at a loss. 

There has been multiple calls from various Den-Den Mushi's that now filled his office e desk. Vice Admirals, Captains, all reporting of bubble-like barriers surrounding ships and islands all over the four blues themselves. Even the Grandline itself as well. 

The worst part is that Marineford was also trapped Within one of those bubble-like barriers, as None of them can even escape from it. No matter how hard they tried, nothing could have pierced them. Instead, their attacks were repelled against them, some of them earning near fatal injuries. 

“Damnit!” Sengoku cursed, slamming his fists down onto his desks. Already imagining the pile of paperwork for this tragic event.

“Hahahahaha!” 

Sengoku's eyebrow twitched, looking over to see Garp who was munching on some crackers while sitting on the couch.

“Be serious, Garp! We're at a crisis here!” Sengoku yelled at his old friend and colleague. 

The Vice-Admiral shrugged, munching on some more crackers. “Not much we could do from here, Might as well sit back and relax.” Garp snorted, busying himself with eating. 

Sengoku’s blood vessel nearly popped, He gritted his teeth at his old friend. “The Five Elders have been demanding that we do something about this! And Yet we can't even leave here!” He gripped the sideburns on the side of his face in frustration.

This job would be the death of him, He just knows it.

Wano, Onigashima.

King grimaced while watching Kaido trying so hard to break through the bubble-like barrier but it didn't break. Much to the shock of the entire crew on Onigashima. 

The Lunarian knew that they couldn't leave the island, due to the barrier itself. What's more bizarre was that from the distance, there was another larger bubble-like barrier covering the entirety of Wano as well.

On The Other Hand, Queen was…

“EEEEEEEEEEEEEHHHH–!?!!!!!!!!!!” 

Yeah, that.

South Blue, Sorbet. 

Bartholomew Kuma peaked through the boarded up windows of the church, noticing the bubble-like barrier itself. Protectively, holding an eight year-old Bonney close to his chest. 

Kuma knew that this wasn't natural, silently gulping, he glanced down at his beloved daughter who was trying to peak through the window as well. 

He was about to take Bonney to meet with Dr. Vegapunk, Until this event happened today. 

There was no sunlight or moonlight, Which means Bonney shouldn't be affected as much. 

But The buccaneer knew better than that, Whether was happening now, might have also happened to the rest of the world itself. Right now, He needed to protect his daughter from whatever might be happening. 

Zou.

Pedro looked up at the sky, with a narrowed gaze while he had his arms crossed his chest. As Carrot was standing next to him, also looking up at the sky as well.

While the large crowd of minks gathered together, filled with confusion and anxiety about what's happening right now.

Worldwide.

Suddenly The Giant Modified Den-Den Mushi’s that were scattered throughout the world, beginning onto projecting hologram screens into the sky. As the screens switched from static to an image in tandem, shocking the worldwide crowds. In front of them was a Large figure covered and hidden by an black cloak, but at least he was standing at 9’0 feet. There was a wide smile accented by a mustache was seen underneath the hood.

 “Hello there, World!”

Just then, by hearing that man's voice alone. A few people had there eyes widened and jaws dropped im disbelief. 

Marineford. 

Garp spitting out the crackers from his mouth, coughing roughly with a look of shock on his face. 

The same was with Sengoku, looking on through the windows with horror and shock. ‘IT CAN'T BE-!’ 

Wano, Onigashima. 

Kaido narrowed his eyes, looking at the screen that was in the dark sky while he was in his dragon form. 

“I know that voice.. I will never forget it.” The Yonko growled out with a hint of remembrance, especially About God Valley.

Totto Land, Whole Cake Island. 

Charlotte Linlin gritted her teeth, her eyes filled with rage. Hearing that voice, had set her off. She gripped her fists tightly, While her Homies; Zeus, Prometheus, Napoleon, were all looking at her with concern and slight fear.

Nearby, Her children were looking at their with some concern. While Peropero looked at the screen with wide eyes. 

Katakuri dropped his beloved doughnuts in stunned shock. 

‘it can't be, Pero-!’ Peropero thought in shock, his jaw dropping in shock at hearing that voice. 

The Moby Deck. 

“Guarararararara...!!” Whitebeard laughed out loud, with the biggest shit eating smile on his face. Causing some of his son's to be a little spook out at the sudden laughter coming from their pops. 

Marco eye's widened in recognition, after so long, when had he last heard that voice?

For some reason, Ace felt an intense hatred for the man on the screen and he didn't know why though.

At some Island. 

Shanks looked up from the cliff, he was sitting at. Smiling at the sound of hearing that voice, He closed his eyes while remembering the memories of the past. 

“Captain…” He mutters those words underneath his breath, as a tear leaks down his cheek. 

At The Sabaody Archipelago. 

Rayleigh was smiling, hearing that voice. He never thought he would see the day of where he hear the voice of his captain and sworn brother. 

“So, are you ready for me to turn this world upside again!” 

“‘ROGER!?!’”

Worldwide.

Literally everyone in the world from Dawn Island to Wano, just stared at the screens in the sky with some disbelief, shock, and uproar. 

“Hahahahaha! Today is the day where everything would flip the world upside down!” The Mysterious Man within the screens, said. “Secrets revealed, Mysteries to be seen!” He also added with a large grin.

There were some mutters, whispers and conversations about what's the man is even talking about right now. 

“Now that's being said, prepare to see everything throughout time itself!” 

Now that gotten nearly everyone to raised their eyebrows at this, especially those who knew the identity of the man. But However, some of them got a few ideas about what the man have said. 

“No he couldn't possibly have implied that we will…?” An Bartender mutters while being among the crowd.

Somewhere in the South Blue, an Sailor looked on, with doubt and skepticism on his face. “Is it even possible to let the whole world on seeing the past and future..?” He wondered out loud.

In The North Blue, An Old Veteran Marine nearing the age of 98, looked up at the screens, sighing heavily. “Of course, that son of a bitch did the impossible again… I wonder how's Garp is handling this…” He chuckled with Amusement.

At Arabasta. 

King Cobra watches on, looking at the screens in the sky, with an observing gaze upon his face. The bubble-like barrier surrounding The Kingdom and the Island, was actually providing them rain of all things. He was a little shock to say the least, but somehow a bit relieved at the same time. 

Many citizens throughout the island were letting out sighs of relief at this. Some conversing to each other about what's happening, wondering if King Cobra is finally not hoarding ‘Dance Powder’ then. 

Somewhere on the island, Crocodile gritted his teeth while crushing the cigar in his hand. “goddamnit…!” He growled underneath his breath, as this would set back ‘Operation Utopia’.

At Sabaody Archipelago. 

Rayleigh watches on, with a fond smile. Shaking his head, knowing the bigger meaning behind those words. “You never change, do you Roger?” He mutters those words with a chuckle. 

Next to him, Shakky looked on, still having that smile on her face as well. “Well Ray, I suppose it's like one of those times, isn't it?” 

“With Roger involved? Of course it is..”

At Marineford.

All Den-Den Mushi's began ringing all at once, As Sengoku paled at the sight at the screens. He couldn't believe it, It was impossible! Roger was executed! They all saw the body for themselves. However, the proof was in front of him, slapping him in the face and forcing him to acknowledge the facts. 

That Gold Roger was alive. 

Sengoku gritted his teeth in frustration, a few strands of his hair turning gray immediately from all the stress. “This is truly a despicable day…!” 

“Roger..” Garp utters that word out of his mouth, It had been nearly 20 years since Roger's Death. But this has been one hell of a surprise for him, especially seeing Roger again. He remembers the last time the two of them had talked to each other. 

‘So Please Look after my child…’

Those words had echoed within his mind, reminding him about what Roger had asked of him. Garp sighed, putting down his crackers for a moment. He knew he should have taken the time to head back to East Blue and visit his grandson, train him up to be a proper Marine. But no, Instead, He was stuck here with every other fellow marine officer here.

“Sir!” An Marine ran into the room, saluting before the Fleet admiral. 

Sengoku turned to face the man. “What's the status on our fellow marines condition? Any fatal casualties?”

“Only One Casualty Sir! Admiral Akainu Is dead!” 

“What-?!” Fleet Admiral Sengoku gasped at the news. 

-Flashback-

Akainu gritted his teeth angrily, making his way through the crowd of what he considered to be worthless marines.

The Admiral looked up at the bubble-like barrier, grunting before leaping up high into the air while raising his magma fist, preparing to melt through the barrier. 

However…. 

“SOMEONE GET AN MEDIC!”

-Flashback Ended-

Sengoku couldn't believe it, The Marines had lost an Admiral to some FUCKING repelling bubbles. His eyebrow was twitching violently, while his fists were clenching so hard that they started to bleed. “Damn it all!” 

But Garp didn't say anything, He glanced at the Marine who informed them about Akainu’s Death. He wasn't phased by it, as he didn't have any respect for the brat for many, many reasons and for good reasons too.

Although, He would say the Marines would be better off, now with Akainu gone. 

Meanwhile, At Random island.

Admiral Aokiji was comfortably laying on the ground, with a pillow underneath his head. He let out a tired sigh, looking up at the sky, towards the screens.

“This is a peaceful vacation.” He mused over the thought, since this was the perfect time to get some rest for however he wanted, after all then.

At Worldwide.

[‘A FEW MONTHS AGO’ appeared at the top of the screens, ‘ONIGASHIMA DURING KAIDO’S ABSENCE’

“Oh?” Yamato asked, confused. “Um… Hello? What?!” She started to panic. “What? What? What? What?” She asked as she backed away, revealing Ace, lying face first into a broken barrel. “ACE!”]

Many people throughout the many islands around the world, who had muttered at the sight, couldn't believe this was happening. Especially to see Fire-Fist Ace there. Though, The thought of seeing the past had finally hit everyone like bricks especially then.

An Cipher Pol agent looked down at the Den-Den Mushi in his hands. “This spell trouble..” He mutters darkly. 

“Is that Fire-Fist Ace?” 

“I wonder who is that with him?..”

“Ha! I guess the guy couldn't hold his Liquor!”

At The Moby Deck.

Ace groaned at the sight, placing his head into his hands. While the majority of the crew were chuckling at the sight in front of them. 

“Falling asleep once before, have you, Huh?” One of them jokingly said, causing the others to snicker or laugh playfully. 

“Oh shut up…” Ace grumbles, wishing for the sea to swallow him up right there and then.

At Wano, Onigashima. 

Both Within and Outside the Skull Dome, The Lower Ranking members of The Beast Pirates blinked their eyes for a moment, before they gasped in shock. 

“Y-Y-Y-Young Master!?!” Queen yelled out, his eyes popping out at the sight. 

King narrowed his eyes at the sight, reminding himself to look into this later, glancing back at Kaido who stopped beating against the bubble-like barrier and was now watching the whole thing as well. 

The Lunarian swore he saw smoke coming out of The Yonko’s mouth right now.

At another place within the skull dome on Onigashima, Instinctively many of the beast pirates, gifters or waiters turned to look at Yamato who was sneaking out, hoping to avoid the majority of them. 

“Hehehe…” Yamato laughed nervously at the many eyes staring at her. 

East Blue, Dawn Island.

“ACEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!” 

Luffy shouted out excitedly, now having an bandage over his cheek, was jumping up and down to see the sight of his older brother on screen. “Look it's ace! Hi ace!” He shouted, waving at the screen. 

“Settle down, You Brat! That's an projecting screen! He can't even hear you” Dadan yelled out, while Makino looked up at the screen fondly after it had been so long since they saw ace.

The Mayor Of Foosha Village, sighed deeply. “Of course, that boy…” He mutters softly.

East Blue, The Baratie.

“Hehehe~~!!” Sanji shouted out, his eyes turned into hearts with his jaw dropping as He was amazed at the sight of Yamato while he accidentally dropped the plate in his hands as it fell to the floor.

All the other chefs groaned at this, while Zeff marched up to Sanji, yelling out “HEY You LITTLE BRAT!” before flipping Sanji over his shoulder and sending him crashing into a table. 

Sanji groaned softly, rubbing the back of his head.

At Mary Geoise, Pangae Castle.

In The Hall Of Power, The Five Elders were locked inside in their own chambers, No one could get out. Not even their devil fruits were working as a result. 

“This could spell disaster, not just for us..” Saint Topman Warcury stated, glaring through the windows, seeing the screens in the sky. 

Saint Jaygarica Saturn frowned heavily despite the facial hair that was hiding it. “The dangers coming from this ‘viewing’.. poses a threat to us, regardless…”

“Then, there's the matter of the barriers that prevent us from doing much at all...” Saint Marcus Mars said, standing by next to them. “Our actions and choices are being limited now…”

Facing the window and not even looking back at the rest of them, Saint Shepherd Ju Peter, took a deep breath before speaking, “And if we let this viewing to proceed?..” 

“if we let this continue then, we may be forced to do a Great Cleansing..” Saint Ethanbaron V. Nusjuro glared at all of them. 

At Marineford. 

“Who is she?...” Sengoku narrowed his eyes at the sight, never recognizing that girl before. 

Garp gulped down his crackers, glancing at Sengoku. “Don't know, don't care. Not my problem, Sunny” 

“Goddamnit…” Sengoku sighed deeply, rubbing his temples. “Please take this seriously, Garp.”

“I am.” Then came the sound of more munching on crackers. “i am taking it very seriously.”

‘For the love of all things, No you're not, You damn fool…!’ Sengoku thought to himself as He glared at the man, his forehead throbbing with a headache and an migraine already.

[“What’s wrong all of a sudden?! You were just having so much fun!” Yamato asked. 

Yamato gasped, “Are you dead…” She began to panic, “Stay with me! ACE!” She shouted as Ace lifted his head, so they were face to face. 

Ace sighed, “I fell asleep.” He said bluntly. 

“Don’t freak me out! I thought you were dead!” 

“It’s my bad. I’m sorry.” Ace apologised as he used Yamato’s clothes to wipe his face.]

East Blue, Dawn Island. 

"DAMNIT! that brat has no manners!" Dadan scowled deeply, while Makino sighed with a smile on her face. 

Luffy didn't pay attention, since he was just picking his nose, much to the mayor's disgust.

[“You look tired, Do you wanna call it a night?” Yamato asked. 

“What are you talking about, Yamato?! I still have a lot to tell you! I gotta meet up with my guys in the morning. It’d be a waste to sleep tonight.” He said as he lit the bit of wood in his hand on fire.

Yamato looked thrilled, “Then, don’t fall asleep again!” 

Ace apologised. “Now, where were we?” 

“You were talking about your brother again!” Yamato explained.]

At The Moby Deck.

Immediately The Majority of The Whitebeard pirates sighed together, they had heard enough about Ace's brother since he talked about him countless times. At the point where none of them could forget about it. 

“Hey what's with those faces for!” Ace yelled out, looking at them in confusion. 

Marco chuckles, waving his hand dismissively at him. “It's nothing-yoi..”

Whitebeard laughed silently, shaking his head.

At Worldwide. 

“No way! Fire-Fist Ace has a Brother!” A Journalist yelled out in shock, eagerly writing this piece of information down in the small book that he was holding. 

Mutters of gossip raised out of the crowds, especially hearing about the infamous Fire-Fist Ace having a Brother. 

Some of them have thought that to think Fire-Fist Ace did have family somewhere out there in the world. The question is, where and who is Fire-Fist Ace's brother then? 

[“And you were talking about wanting to become Oden again!” Ace retorted.

“No, Ace!” Yamato stopped him. “I don’t want to become him, I will become him!”]

At Wano, Onigashima. 

Kaido growls deeply at this, snarling at those words. “My son is foolish for thinking like that…” He spat those words out, flying towards the rooftop of the skull dome, before transforming into his Human-Beast form!.

Landing roughly on the rooftop without a care, dragging Hassaikai as He hatefully glared at the screen.

At Wano, Udon.

Within The Prisoner Mine, Hyogoro was with the other prisoners who were being protected by an Miniature bubble-like barrier that kept the beast pirates from harming them. Not only that, somehow the other prisoners that were locked up were teleported to them, the cuffs and shackles on everyone, were shattered to ashes. 

Everyone panicked, thinking that all of them would exploded but after a few moments had passed. Nothing had happened, causing great relief to all of them.

Some of them glanced at their former captors who were locked up in a bubble-like barrier as well.

Nevertheless, Ohamasa, Tsunagoro, Cho, Yatappe, who were standing with Hyogoro as they all were looking up at the screen that was in the sky.

“Oden-sama…?” Hyogoro mutters underneath his breath, The Old man was intrigued about what Yamato had said. 

At Worldwide 

[“I’ll make it come true… It’s our future!” She said as she looked at the cover of the book which read, ‘ODEN’S TRAVEL RECORD’ on the front. ]

“Oden?... That samurai who joined the Whitebeard pirates, years ago right?” An Man spoke up, while the older folks muttering to each other as they remember the news about the samurai. 

“Oh that's right! I heard he had traveled with Gold Roger afterward!”

This causes some excitement to the crowd, remembering the day that Gold Roger had set out to the Last Island and had founded the One Piece. 

A Woman tilted her head curiously, as she looked at the screen, “You think the logbook contains everything about the one piece?” 

This causes the whole crowd to become dead silent.

.

“HEY SHE'S RIGHT!” An man yelled out, as the crowd immediately exploded with gossip and conversations that filled the air.

A Journalist was furiously reporting this, “Mr Morgans! I got big news for you!” He yelled into the Den-Den Mushi. 

An Elderly Man sighed deeply, “No one would be that foolish to even write down anything about the one piece itself.” He scoffed, knowing better that there's nothing written in there about the one piece. It would be like spilling secrets of the author in the easiest and cheap way.

Wano, Onigashima. 

At Onigashima, Kaido seemed to got the same idea like the crowds around the world. The Yonko furiously looking and searching through the skull dome himself, trying to find Yamato and Oden’s logbook. 

“L-lord Kaido!” Stuttering a scared beast member. 

Kaido growled, swinging Hassaikai through the wall causing splinters and rubble flying about. “Where's is my son!?!” He roared out, demanding to know. “Find Him, You fools!” 

In the background, Page One grimaced at the idea of searching Yamato. “This isn't my day..” He mutters underneath his breath.

However, an memory plays within the young man's mind…

‘Page One, including his sister Ulti standed along with the other Tobiroppo’s and The All-stars. Which they all sweat dropping at the sight in front of them. 

“NO DAUGHTER OF MINE IS GOING TO STAND AS THAT FOOL ODEN!” Kaido roared out, glaring down at Yamato. 

“Son!” 

Kaido closed his eyes momentarily, nodding in understanding of his child's Choice. “I see.”

“NO SON OF MINE IS GOING TO STAND AS THAT FOOL ODEN!” 

‘Eh….’ Page one and Ulti thought in confusion. 

Page One shuddering at that memory, at this point everyone has been treating it like some kind of inside joke between them. Although Kaido takes it seriously.

[Ace looked surprised, “What?” Yamato mumbled.

“Aaaaghhh,” Ace yelled as he waved his arms about, “ Oh, no… It slipped out! I wasn’t gonna tell you that. Never mind! Forget it!” He tried to cover up whatever it was that he had said. “I mean don’t you dare laugh! Sabo and I won’t forgive you if you do!”

Ace was covering his head with his hands, “That’s what my brother’s dream is!”]

Revolutionary Army HQ, 

Dragon silently watches, having a visible yet somehow neutral frown on his face. The Leader Of The Revolutionary Army didn't say anything but just watched the whole commotion in front of him. He knew that Portgas D. Ace was the sworn brother of his son, and so was Sabo. Although, Sabo in question was suffering from amnesia as well.

The man felt like it wasn't his place to interfere with something like that, his gut telling him that it wasn't time yet from before. 

It had been a while since informing Kuma about Dr. Vegapunk, who might be able to cure Bonney’s disease and be able to save her.

The disease had set a reminder of what happened to Ginney, especially all those years ago. Dragon frowned heavily, it was a dark day since the death of Ginney. 

“Sabo-kun?”

Koala softly said with worry on her face, looking over at Sabo who had an wided eyed look on his face as sweat beginning to form besides his brow.

Sabo slowly begins to hyperventilate, his eyes trembling at the sight. His head felt like it was throbbing intensely, his heart racing pass his pulse as memories of the past had begin flooding his mind. His hands clenching tightly. 

As tears beginning to build up within Sabo’s eyes, leaking down his cheeks. 

“S-sabo-kun?!” Koala urgently rushed to his side, as she placed her hand over Sabo's shoulder.

‘“We can Become brothers if we exchange this cup of this sake!"

"Brothers? Really?!"

"When we become Pirates, we might not be on the same ship, but our brotherhood will always be with us! So Wherever you are, whatever you do, we will always be bonded together! As from now on... WE WILL BE BROTHERS!"

"YEAH!”

Sabo gritted his teeth, as sorrow and sadness filled his heart and soul. Helifted his head and let out an anguish cry to the heavens. 

“AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH-!!!!” 

‘I remember now..! He isn't just some commander of the Whitebeard pirates! He's my…. BROTHER!’ 

Sabo's eyes rolled up, as He collapse down and became unconscious. 

But luckily that Koala catched him just in time as well, she's looking at him with shock. Her blue eyes shining with emotions, feeling scared for him. “Sabo-kun!?!” She yelled out, holding him in her arms.
