Chapter Text

Thrid-Person P.O.V

"Alright Class, Settle Down!" A Cream Female Rabbit clapping her hands together to get her students attention.  Finally getting her students to return to their assign seats. "As you all know, today you will all be tested to see what your ranks are." A red Echidna child raised their hands. " Yes, you have a question to ask!?" Said the teacher. "What do you mean by ranks? And what to they mean?" Asked the young child.

The Teacher sign a bit hoping none of her students would ask this question. Because it always lead to the students   discriminating at the end. "Well, there are 3 different ranks. Alpha, Beta, and Omega! Alpha and Omega being the rare ranks as they already are. And Beta ranks are more of the common ranks" "WHAT RANK ARE YOU, MS.VANILLA!?" One of the students shouted. "Well for 1 things, please don't  interrupt when I'm speaking."

Vanilla turning and angrily smiling at the young green hedgehog. "And secondly, I'm a Beta so I land in the most common ranks." She cleared her throat to continue her lesson. " As I was saying, Alpha are known to be the more  superior rank. For example the Royal Family are known to all be born Alphas. And now we have the Omegas rank, omegas are known to be able to give birth despite being male or female. But to addition to that they go through a heat cycle once a month. Until they find their fated  pair."

A purple hedgehog raised their hand. "Yes, you have a question!?" Vanilla acknowledge the young child. "What's a fated pair?" Asked the young hedgehog. "Well, a fated pair is something special to the alpha and omega. Anyone can be a pair but a fated pair is something very special." Vanilla smiled to herself knowing she can hopefully bring some light to the young children's. "How do they know if they are fated or not!?" A red wolf interrupt. "The omega will be able to mark their alpha as theirs. Which rarely happens now and then." She answered the child question.

Suddenly the classroom door opened, revealing a small brown mouse wearing a lab coat. "Hello Ms. Vanilla, Are the children's ready for their test?" "Yes, I was explaining the different ranks to them since they were curious." Vanilla said with a worried look. "I see" Said the small mouse. Vailla turned herself to her class. "Kids, please say hello to Dr. Koki, she will be in charge of your test today!" "HI, Dr. Koki!" The children said in unison. "Hello, Children's! Today I'll  be leading you all to the medical room so I can do your test." As Dr. Koki pancing around the classroom.

"I want everyone to form a line toward the door. Your teacher will guide you to the nurses room. I'll see you kids there!" As the doctor walked out. When the doctor was out of sight ms. Vailla clapped her hands together to gain her students attention. "Alright, you heard the doctor. Please lined up by the door." Students got off their desk to head towards the door to form a line as they were instructed to do.  Now Ms. Vanilla leads her students to the nurses office.

Vailla knocks on the door to let the doctor know they were ready. The door slowly opens, "Please let in your students one at a time. It'll make my work easier that way!" Said the doctor. "Of course Dr. Koki!" Nodded Ms. Vanilla. Ms. Vanilla let in her students one at a time to get their testing done and the one done were to wait on the other side of the hallway. 30 minutes pass by. All the young students had already taken their test. Students talking amongs themselves while waiting on the doctor. Dr. Koki exits the room while looking down on her clipboard. She turns towards Ms. Vanilla. "Well, thank you for your cooperation. Things went smoothly and I finished sooner than expected." Smiling at the children's. "We will receive the results by tomorrow.  Now will you excuse me I still have a few more classes to get through today!"

The Doctor bowing her head towards Ms. Vanilla before heading towards the next class. Ms. Vanilla now leading her students back to their classroom. Once back in class, she told her students if they had anymore questions before the school days end. She had a few students wanting more information about the Alphas and omega special connection. She answered their questions the best she could. Suddenly the school bell rang letting everyone know that school was over for the day. Students saying their goodbyes towards their teacher.

A pair of triplets hedgehogs walking together heading home or so they thought. "Oh, I can't wait for tomorrow!" A excited purple hedgehog  squealing. "Calm down sis, you know we're going to be Alphas it runs in the family!" A green hedgehog trying to calm down his over excited sister. "For starters we just have to hope none of us are omegas." Sighing the green one. "Why not? What's wrong being a omega?" The youngest of the triplets, a blue hedgehog spoken. The two older siblings look at each other with a concern look. "Because mom hates omega." Explained the green one "yeah she said she would abandoned us if any of us were to be omega after what happen to dad." The purple one sighing her ears down. "So mom won't  love me, she just going to throw me away for something I can't contol!" The blue one now tearing up.

The older ones tried to hug their younger sibling. But they pushed them away before screaming at them. That they hated them before dashing off somewhere leaving behind a blue streak. Both siblings screaming at the young one to come back. The blue one kept running till he tripped and fell on their knees. Wincing in pain from the fall. They pick up their head and started looking around to see where they were. He noticed a playground, he struggled to get up and limping his way over there.

Noticing a small cave like area underneath the main playground.  He settled himself down and curled himself crying. He hadn't realized he had caught someone attention.  A Dark shadow soon looms over the weeping child. He gasped a look to see a ebony hedgehog staring at him. "Why are you crying? I've never seen you around here before!" Said the ebony child. The blue one was scared and trembling in fear. The ebony sat down next to him. "What cat got your tongue?" Smirk the ebony one.

"NO!!" The blue wipe away his tears " I'm just scared is all" as his ears lowered. Ebony scooted closer to the blue one "Scared of what? Your rank?" The blue one gasped in shock and faced the other child "H-how d-did you k-know!?" As he stuttered "because I was the same when I got my test done." He scare into those emerald eyes. "So, you know your rank?" Questioned the blue one. "Yeah, I'll tell you if you tell me why you're so scared to learn your rank!?" The blue one knew the curious ebony wasn't gonna stop pestering him. "I'm scared to be mark as a omega. My mom despise them alot." He felt like crying again.

"I see, that's understandable. But she's wrong to hate you for something you have no control over!" As the ebony one grabbed the blue one hands together. " She should see you as who you are not by ranks! At least that's what my parents told me." The ebony one look up with a confused look. The blue one giggle with his statement. "Thanks, I guess I needed that. What rank are you anyway!?" Now it was the blue one turn to ask the questions.

"I'm a alpha!" The ebony one answers his question. "Any family members?" As he kept asking questions. "I have a older twin brother who is also a alpha and a older sister who is a omega. My parents are fated pair." That caught the blue one attention. "My teacher was mentioning that today. What does that actually means?" " I'm not sure exactly. From what I've been told you feel a special connection to a certain someone. And you'll know your meant to be because something special happens when they meet." The ebony one laid back to get comfortable.

There was silence between the two hedgehogs. Till the ebony one broke it. "Um, I have a very weird random question to ask you?" As the ebony one look at the blue one. "Uhh, sure? What is your question?" The blue one look at the ebony one with concerned. "I know we just meant and you don't know what your rank is yet. But I was wondering if I can mark you!?" The blue one eyes widen before he shouted "WHAT!? Are you being serious or just playing a joke on me because I don't like it!" He was starting to get angry. The ebony one grabbed the blue ones hand. "NO, I'm being serious. I don't know why but I want to mark you. If you allow me too" he squeezed his hands.

"I don't know.....what would happen if I was a omega or a alpha or a Beta!?" He was concerned what would happen if he was mark. "Well if you were either alpha or beta the mark would disappear and for omegas the mark is permanent. But I would take care of you if you were a omega and you become mines." The ebony one was determined. "I'm not sure, what if you changes your mind later!" The blue one was scared for that outcome. "I won't. You have my word. I'll even let you mark me as well if you want too. So can I mark you?" Asked the ebony one. The blue one was thinking and then. "I......"

*BEEP*

*BEEP*

A certain older blue hedgehog groaning as his slumber was distributed. His alarm going off. "Sonic, wake up! We're going to be late for school!" A voice coming from his door while they knock on it. "I'm up, I'll be down in a sec." As he answered back. "Don't take too long!" He saw their shadow leave the door area and hearing them walk down the stairs. Before leaning back on his bed. "What kind of dream was that!?" As he placed his hand on his forehead. "Or was that a memory!?"

Sonic p.o.v

I couldn't stop thinking about that dream. It felt so real like it was a memory. *sigh* "I should get ready before he comes banging at my door again". I went to get dressed for school and right on cue. "SONIC, WE'RE GONNA BE LATE!" As they were banging at my bedroom door. I went to open the door. As I swing it open, I see my little brother puffing his cheeks at me as his tails sway around. I chuckle alittle seeing him like this. "Sorry, Tails. I'm almost done. I'll be done in a sec." I gave him a smiled which seems to calm him down a bit. "Okay, breakfast is ready" tails said. I watched him go back down the stairs and I closed my bedroom door.

Tails p.o.v

'Something is on his mind, he's usually the first one awake and now he's got up late' I thought to myself. "Is he coming down!? Hey! What's wrong?" I looked up and see Silver giving me a worried look. "It's nothing" I responded back. "Just your boyfriend is acting weird" I gave him a mischievous smile. And his reaction was funny as always. "For the last time Tails, we're not in a relationship. We're just helping each other out! That's it." Silver said with a annoyed look. "Uh huh" I just nodded. I heard footsteps coming down the stairs. I turned my head around and see my big brother fixing his uniform. "Finally, come on. Let eat before we head out" I went to grab his hand and pulled him towards the table.

Silver p.o.v

As I watch Tails pulling Sonic towards the dining table. I went to grab the plates with our breakfast on it. "Wow, that smells delicious Silver!" said Sonic. "Thank you, I've been practicing on my cooking!" I smiled at him. Sonic is my best friend and savior. I noticed Sonic forgot to put something on. "Hey, Sonic!" I called out to him. "Mhm" Sonic responded back with a mouth full of pancakes. I pointed towards my left eyes. And he got the message and rush back upstairs. "He forgot again didn't he?" said Tails. I nodded my head yes. "Okay, I'm back. Thanks for the reminder Silver. I don't know why I keep forgetting to put my contacts on." said Sonic. "Beside are you going to be okay today, Silver!? Your heat just ended last night." Sonic had a concerned look on his face. "Yeah, I'll be okay." I didn't realize I was staring at Sonic.

Sonic p.o.v

"I really envy you Sonic!" said Silver. I looked at Silver. "Why?" I asked him. "You're a omega like me but not once have you gotten your heat. How come!?" I just shrug my shoulder. I also didn't have the answer for that question. "I really don't know myself. My uncle seemed to know but he won't say nothing to me about it. So I'm just as curious as well." There was a awkward silences between us. Tails broke it. "Any way how do you guys feel about the new school we're going to?" Said Tails

"I'm not so sure about it myself. Kinda nervous to be honest" said Silver. "Hey!" I shouted out to him which caught his attention. "Remember, just tell any alpha your taken by me. I'll show them who they're dealing with if they try any funny business." I gave him my signature smile to reassure him and it worked. He seemed to calm down and smiled back at me. "Thanks Sonic! I feel better about today." said Silver. I saw the time and notice we had to leave soon. "We should get ready to head out soon" I told them. "Your right we have half an hour to get to school" said Tails

"oh, don't forget your supplements guys." He stop in his track and turned around to remind us. I just shook my head. "Tails, you know I don't need them, right!?" *sigh* "But I'll still take them with me so you don't have to worry okay!?" I petted his head. I see Silver bringing down our school bag with his psychokinesis. "Here's your bag." As he tossed our bags towards us. "Thanks, Silver! Alright let's head out!"

We left through our front door and I lock it. We started walking down the street. "Hey guys!" I wanted to get theirs attention. "Yeah Sonic?" As they both looked towards me. "Imma go ahead towards school to get our schedules. I'll see you there soon." I took off towards our new high school. Chaos High School.

??? P.O.V

I heard stuff being thrown around "GIVE IT BACK! BEFORE I STRANGLE YOUR ASS!!" *sigh* 'why do they start drama so early in the god damn morning.' I thought to myself.

*knock*
*knock*

Someone was knocking at my bedroom door. They didn't even wait for me to answer. "Shadow, it's time to get up. Breakfast is ready! And please do me a favor and calm down your siblings." Said my older sister. I sat up from my bed and see a Yellow hedgehog with braided quills hanging on her shoulder.

I love my older sister and would do anything for her. "Okay, Maria. I'll get ready! Just give me a sec to wake up" I heard her chuckled. "Okay, don't take to long " said Maria. I got up from my bed and started to get dressed. My door swung and slam shut just as fast! I turned to see my older twin brother panting. "What you do this time!?" I asked with a emotionless face. "Oh, nothing much.....Just trying to stay clear of this crazy bat."

"MEPHILES"

We both shook from where we stand. Mephiles turned to me with pleading eyes. "Hide me please! Until she cools down." I was gonna to refuse to help him. But what he said next had me grinning. "I'll do anything. Just hide me please!" *sigh* "Fine, in my shadow!" He literally dolphin dive into my shadow and just in a nick of time. My door was kick down.

"Rouge, Seriously! Did you really had a knock down my door?" I growled at her. "Where is he!? I know he's in here! Where is he hiding!?" Rouge shouted at me. "How am I supposed to know. Besides what did mephiles even do make you this angry!?" I crossed my arms together letting Rouge know I was getting annoyed. "Mephiles destory something that belongs to my parents. He's going to pay for it!!" 'Mephiles you own me big time for this' I thought to myself. "Well he's isn't here. I'll help you fix it when we get back from school. Maria is waiting for us downstairs." I walk past her. "Hurry and get dressed!" I headed downstairs.

Mephiles p.o.v

Once I didn't see Rouge anymore. I left Shadow shadow. "You own me big time for this! She's extremely pissed at you. How could you destroy something precious to her. " Shadow had a stern look while looking at me. "It was a accident. I swear!" I put my hands up. "You better make it up to her!" Shadow pointed a finger in my chest. He scoffed and continue down the stairs into the kitchen. I had my head down thinking a way to make it up to Rouge. "Mephiles" a soft voice called out to me. Maria was looking at me with worried. "The best option is to apologize to Rouge. She'll still be mad at you but it will calm her down a bit." She gave me a soft smile. Before she ruffled up my quills. "I just fix them!" She giggled before heading to fix her paperwork.

I noticed Shadow was getting ready to leave. "Heading out so soon?" I ask. Shadow just nodded before his mouth was occupy by a toast of bread. "I h..have a tr...ack me...ett...ing to j...join soon!" He said with his mouth full. "Bye, Guys! I'll see you at school!" He shouted before he closed the front door. I felt someone passed me and I turned around to see Rouge giving me the silent treatment. "Uhmm" Maria cleaned her throat to gain my attention. She motioned her head to let me know to say something. I turned towards Rouge.

Rouge p.o.v

'I hate him. How could he!! That jerk destroy something my parents left me' I growled then I felt someone tap my shoulder. I turned around to be face to face with mephiles. I scoffed and look away. I didn't want to talk to him. I'm beyond pissed at him. "Rouge!.....I'm sorry" He mumble softly. "What!?" I question him to certain I heard right. "I'm sorry for breaking your family heirloom. I didn't realize what it was at first until I broke it....." Mephiles pinned his ears down. I least that tells me it was sincere. "I'll help you fix it after school today" He averted his eyes away from me. I slightly smiled and responded.

"Thank you for apologizing, mephiles! I would very appreciate it, if you fix it. Till then you own me big!" I winked at him. "Seems like you two made up for now." Said Maria "Come on now, it's time to head to school now. Don't want to be late now, do we!?" Both me and mephiles giggled a little. "I still can't believe you're our new school nurse." Mephile had gotten up to grab his bag for school. "We better head out if we want to make it on time!" I said to them while I fly upstairs to get my stuff as well.

Maria p.o.v

I smiled watching my family getting along so well. I grab our family portrait from the counter. "Don't worry, I have a feeling things would work out well. I will keep my family safe." I said to myself "Maria, let's go!!" Both Rouge and Mephiles shouted from the front door. "Coming!" I shouted back. I placed down the photo and grab my coat. "Let's head out now!" As we walked out the front door.

Sonic p.o.v

After I left my friends behind to quickly get the stuff we needed for school today. I was just enjoying the breeze flowing through my quills. The thrill to just run always brighten up my day without fail.

*THUD*

I hit something or someone. Causing me to fall back. "Ow... ow.. ow... ow... owwwww" I grab my forehead that was wincing in pain. I hit something hard. "I'm very sorry, I didn't see....Are you alright!?" I heard someone talking to me but I was confused why they were the one apologizing if I crash into them. "Uh, yeah....I'm fine! I just wasn't watching where I was going!" I said to who ever I was talking too. "Here" I looked up my vision was still blurry from the collision. Noticing they had their hand reaching out. "Let me help you up!" They say. I grabbed their hand and felt them pulling me up.

Once I was back on my feet, I put my hand on my forehead again. So I can focus on recovering my vision. "Hey, we go to the same school. A Freshman... I believe since I don't see your color tag on you....shot I'm running late! Hey sorry for crashing into you...see you around!!" They sound stern and I felt a strong breeze past me. I was able to get my vision to focus in time just to see a fading red streak. "Who was that?" I questioned myself. "They didn't let me apologize at all...." The throbbing pain finally went away and I took off towards the school again. Wondering who did I just bump into.

Shadow p.o.v

After I left my house, I took off towards school. I was supposed to get ready to welcome new recruits to our track team. Since we'll be getting new freshmans. I was made track leader since my seniors graduated last year. It made sense since I was the fastest on the team. Something caught my attention....I turned my head and saw a glimpse of a blue blur before I crash into it.

*THUD*

I fumble back a bit and recover my balance before I fell to the ground. "Oww...ow.....ow....owwwwwwww...!"
I'm guessing they must had fell hard. I looked at who I crashed into. A azure hedgehog was there holding his forehead. I blushed a bit seeing them. "I'm very sorry, I didn't see...." my heart was pounding and I didn't know why. "Are you alright?" I asked them. "Yeah.....I'm fine" He responded back.

I must had hit him hard, he was still on the ground. "Here!" I reached out my hand to him so I can pull him up. Something about him seems familiar. I felt my cheeks blushing a bit and I didn't know why. I felt him grabbing on to my hand. I gently pulled him up to his feet. The impact must have been strong. Seems like he was still trying to focus.

I was staring at him for a bit and I noticed he had the same school uniform as I did. "Hey, we go to the same school!" I smiled abit knowing I'll be able to see him more often now. I noticed he didn't have the color tag. "A Freshman.... I believe I don't see your color tag on." I felt my phone go off, grabbed it and notice the time. "Shot, I'm running late!!" I turned my attention to the azure hedgehog. I wish I could talk with him more. "Sorry for crashing into you...see you around!"

I smiled a bit and I took off towards the school. "Shot, I didn't ask for his name." Feeling a bit down then smiled a bit. "I'll see you soon, who ever you are!"

Sonic P.O.V

I finally reach the gate to my new school. The building was huge, four floor in total. 'Wow, that's alot of floors for a high school' I thought to myself. I started heading towards the building so I can get the schedule for me andmy friends. The only problem was I didn't  know where the attendance office was. I look around to see if there were any one around who could help me. Then something hit me from behind. I felt myself fell forward. 'What's with me or other bumping into me today!' "Whoops, my bad! Sorry about that I was distracted!!" I look up to see a flying golden hedgehog.

"Nope, your good!" I lifted myself up from the ground. I hit myself to let any dirt off me. "Names Fleetway!! Sorry for bumping into ya, running late for a track meeting!" My eyes lited up when I heard about a track team!! "You're in a track team!?" Asking with excitement. "Sure am!! Let cut this short, seeing no color tag on you meaning your new to this school. Heads out where the track field is and you'll meet the team captain to see if your interested in joiningthe team!!" said Fleetway. I noticed how he was going to take off soon. "WAIT!!" I called out to him. He frozed where he floated. "Can you tell me where the attendance office is. I'm trying to pick up something for my friends and I." I quickly asked. "Oh, sure. It'll be on left, fourth door on the right !!" He informed me.

Before I could thanked him, he's had already took off. I smiled knowing I'm going to have fun with this school track team. I started heading towards the attendance office with the information he's given me. I arrived at the office door. *knock knock* "come in" a voiced answered from the inside. I entered the office seeing a female black wolf at the desk working on something. "Can I help you!?" She asked. "Uh, HI! I'm here to pick up the schedules for my friends and I!" She looked up at me and face towards her computer. "Names!?" She asked. "Oh, uhhh. Sonic & Silver The Hedgehog. And Miles Prower!!" I told her.

I heard her clicking away on her computer. "Ah, the transfer students correct!?" She questioned me. "Yes, Silver and I are the transfers. Miles is attending here." She turned around towards her printer and grabbing a few papers from it. Guessing those were our schedules. And she open the drawers pulling out 3 color tags. She looks towards me and handing out the stuff to me. "Here you are! The schedules and color tags. The yellow one will go to Miles and the red one will go to you and Silver. Always wear them on school ground. Your free to go now." The turned back to her original work. I grabbed the stuff and headed towards the door. "Thank You!" I said before leaving.

I started heading towards the front gate to wait on my friends. I noticed a familiar face. A green hedgehog with scars across his chest. It was my half brother Scrouge. I tried to stay out of sight from him. I don't hate him but he doesn't like me one bit. I saw he had a red tag on him. 'Great! He's a sophomore sames as me. Hopefully we don't have the same class.' I thought to myself. Lucky he hasn't noticed me yet which was a relief. "SONIC" I heard someone shouting my name. I turned to see tails waving his hand and silver next to him. I jog towards them.

"Hey, guys? I got our schedules." I handed them their schedules and color tags. They both look at the color tag  suspiciously. "Uh, what's with the tags, sonic?" Asked Silver. "It represents our class year. Tails got yellow for freshman. While me and silver got red for sophomore." Tails was looking at his schedule. "Is something wrong Tails!?" I worried ask. "Huh! Oh no, it's just says here we have to join a club. It's required!" said  Tails. "That reminds me" said Silver and turned to face me. "Are you going to join the track team!? Since you don't have to worry about your mother!!" I was sweating a bit and look away. "I'm not sure yet! I'm still thinking about it!" I wasn't completely confident abut the track team. "What's for you to think about!? You love to run and your super fast as well. It's perfect for you since you always wanted to join" said Tails with high confidence towards me.

I smiled a bit at his statement.  "You know what! You're right Tails. I will join the track team. Now that I have my mom off my back and she can't reach me here." I felt confident and then remembered what the floating hedgehog as saying something about a meeting. Maybe I can try to apply now since the team captain is there at the moment.  I look towards my friends. "Hey, I'mma going to head towards the track field now" As I told them "why? It's early right now? Why not after school?" questioned Tails. "Because I just remembered the entire track team will be there for a meeting today. So I'm going to join now then later. I'll see you at lunch." I was about to heads towards the track field. Then I stopped and look towards silver. "Be Careful! Don't get to close to an alpha. Your heat just ended!" I told him with a concern voice. "I'll be fine Sonic. I can handle a few Alphas!" said Silver trying to relief my worried. All I did was nod before taking off towards the track field. Hopefully things go out well.

Sonic P.O.V

I left Silver and Tails behind so I could make it to the track field. As I was making my way over there. I suddenly got pinned towards the lockers. "What the hell you're doing here?" I heard someone growled at me. I couldn't see who it was. But their voice sounded very familiar. "I moved here so I wouldn't see any of your disgusting alpha faces!" they tighten their grip on my hands. I knew who it was now. "Scrouge! I don't mean any harm to you." I tried to reassure him, but that didn't work. "BULLSHIT!" He shouted angrily.

I knew it would only make things worse if I fought back. "I'm being serious, Scrouge! I didn't know you were here." I didn't want this to happen. "Yeah, right! Where are the other two? I'll deal with them as well!" I didn't need to see his face to know he was furious. "They aren't here. It just me and my friends" *sigh* "Can't you at least let me go. So we can talk this out!" My hands were starting to hurt from him gripping on them so hard. I felt it when he let go. 'That was too easy.' I turned around to face him, and suddenly I got yanked.

Scrouge was pulling on my hand and dragging me upstairs. He was taking me towards the roof. I was starting to get worried. Scrouge suddenly swung the door wide open and pulled me towards outside. It was a strong pull, and I almost face planted on the concrete. "TALK! WHY ARE YOU HERE!?" Scrouge had shouted at me. I recover my balance and face towards him. "I transfer here with two of my best friends. I didn't know you attended this high school." I crossed my arms together to keep up my appearance to make it look like I was tough. "Why did you transfer here if you could've gone to an elite academy since your royalty?" He had also crossed his arm and started to frown at me.

I didn't want to give away too much information since I don't know if he could be trusted or not. "I wanted to get away from that. My older siblings love the treatment, but I don't. I just want to be free to do my own things." Half of that was true but also a lie. "Look, I won't say anything if you don't either." I raised both my hands up. I didn't want my family to know I'm here. Scrouge was about to say something, but suddenly, the school bell rang!

"Shoot! I'm gonna be late for class!" I quickly turned to Scrouge and said,"Can we continue this conversation at lunch or probably after school!?" He sighed."Yeah, sure, whatever. Don't wuss out on me or you're in for a beating!" He punch his hand. "We'll talk more after school. I have plans for lunch already." I quickly nodded and hurried downstairs. As I was making my way downstairs, I was looking for my schedule. I didn't see someone walking past the staircase, and I bumped into them.

"My bad, I'm was in a hurry and wasn't watching where I was going." I quickly apologized to the person I ran into. "It's quite alright. But please be careful next time." I looked up and saw a female Yellow hedgehog with braided quills hanging on her shoulder. I realize that she was one of the teachers. I quickly got on my feet and extended my hand to her. "I'm so sorry ma'me! I was running late to my class but I didn't know where that was." She grab hold of my hand, and I slowly pick her up to her feet.

"Can I see your schedule!?" She politely asks. I handed her my schedule, and she was skimming through it. "Well, your homeroom class is in my class. But I haven't seen you before. Are you new here?" She asked me. "Yeah, I just transferred here with two of my friends." I responded to her question. "You can follow me for now. I'll have one of my students show you around school. Along with your friends." She smiled at me. "Thank you, I appreciate the offer! Ms.....?" "Oh, my bad. I'm Ms. Maria. I'm the school nurse and the health teacher. It's a pleasure to meet you...uh."

"Sonic!" I quickly responded. "Nice to meet you too, Ms. Maria!"

Scrouge P.O.V

'Can't this day get any worse. First, my heat is coming soon, and I don't have any supplements.' I thought to myself. "God damn, I going to punch the shit out of that Psycho. Can't believe he's actually making me wait." I angrily mumbled to myself. "I want him to fuck me so bad." "Ahhh, someone missing their buddy." I saw a shadow hover above me. I look up to see the most annoying person I needed to see today. "Fuck off Rouge! I'm not in the mood." She laned next to me. "Nice to see you too Mr grumpy pants. Don't take that anger on me." She glare at me. "Phh, whatever!." I scoffed and continue to walk my way to school.

"Oy, your scent is leaking!" I noticed she was smelling me. "What The Fuck Rouge! Why are you sniffing me!?" I yelled at her. She placed her hands on her hips. "Where are your supplements? Take one before it gets worse!" I rolled my eyes on her. "I don't need one right now. And beside I want my heat to come." She looks at me shock. "Why!?" I gave her a smirk. "Because I want to be pounded by fleet, and he's goes rough when I'm in heat." "Man, you are two horny mother fuckers." She quickly stated. "Alright, but be careful!" We had finally arrived at the school gates.

In the corner of my eyesight, I spotted a glimpse of blue fur. 'No, it can't be!' I thought to myself. "Alright, scrouge, see you at later!" She waved at me before taking off towards the track field. "And he's gone." I heard someone say. "There no stopping him now." That got my attention, and I sneak in closer to the two pairs of students. When I got closer, it was a two tailed fox and a albino hedgehog talking to each other.

"You think he'll notice he went the wrong way!" said the fox. "Maybe, but then again. It's Sonic we're talking about." I tensed up when I heard that name. I silently left the area before they noticed me. "So a royalty is here. I better get rid of them. While I still can." I went in the same direction, I saw that pest went. I noticed him by the locker. 'Where are the other 2 brats?' I noticed the other 2 royals weren't with him. He was alone.

I rushed towards him and pushed him towards the lockers. "What the hell you're doing here?" I had started to growled at him. He couldn't see who I was. 'Does he even recognize or remember me?' "I moved here so I wouldn't see any of your disgusting alpha faces!" I tighten my grip on him. "Scrouge! I don't mean any harm to you." I was surprised he knew who I was. But I shouldn't trust him, not after what his family had done to mine. "BULLSHIT!" I angrily shouted at him.

I noticed he had tensed up a bit. Then he said, "I'm being serious, Scrouge! I didn't know you were here." He was trying to sound sincere, but I wasn't having it. "Yeah, right! Where are the other two? I'll deal with them as well!" I didn't need more problems to deal with. "They aren't here. It's just me and my friends." He responded back. 'His friends? Is he talking about the fox and the albino?'. He sighed. "Can't you at least let me go. So we can talk this out!" 'I need more info on what's going on.' I let go of his arms and grab hold on his hand again.

'I should take him to the roof for a more private matter' I grab hold on one of his hands and pulled him towards the stairs. I was surprised he wasn't fighting back, but I could feel him tensing up again. Was he worried I would do something to him? We finally made it to the roof door. I pushed it open and pulled the pest towards outside.

I saw him struggling to keep his balance before he face planted to the ground. "TALK! WHY ARE YOU HERE!?" I yelled at him. 'I don't need you bringing me any trouble.' He stood tall and faced me."I transfer here with two of my best friends. I didn't know you attended this high school." He was trying to act tough towards me. 'But why here of all place why here.'

"Why did you transfer here if you could've gone to an elite academy since your royalty?" I was starting to get pissed off. His face changed a bit but he look in my eyes. "I wanted to get away from that. My older siblings love the treatment, but I don't. I just want to be free to do my own things." 'So he wants to escape or run away from the Royal life. But why? Something wasn't adding up.' He signed. "Look, I won't say anything if you don't either."

I wasn't sure if I should trust his words. But something was telling me I should. I opened my mouth to say something. We were suddenly interrupted by the school bell. "Shoot! I'm gonna be late for class!" He had turned the other way when the bell rang. He turned to face me with a worried look on his face. "Can we continue this conversation at lunch or probably after school!?" I just stare at him for a bit. *sigh* "Yeah, sure, whatever. Don't wuss out on me or you're in for a beating!"

I clenched my fist and punched my hand to show him I was serious. 'I will figure out your sercet sonic.' "We'll talk more after school. I have plans for lunch already." He quickly nodded and ran out the door. When he was out of sight, I fell to the floor. "Can't believe he didn't notice my scent!" I started to breathe heavily. "You either have a high-tolerance to omega scent or you're not really what you say you are?"

I had forcefully emitted my scent when we had arrived at the stairs to see what he'll do. But he did nothing. *chuckle evily* When my scent had died down and I got to my feet. I glared at the door.

"I will find out what you are, Sonic!? And I know someone who can help."

Sonic P.O.V

I was walking next with my homeroom teacher heading towards her classroom.  I couldn't put my finger on it, but she seemed very familiar to me. Like I have met her before. She must have noticed me staring at her because she suddenly talked to me. "Is there something you want to ask me?" It surprised me because I quickly looked away. "No, I was...uh.." 'Come on, think of something.' "How beautiful you look!" 'I hope she buys that' I panicked thinking to myself. "Thank you?" She looked at me confused. "Well, we arrived to the classroom!"

She slides the door open. "Alright, Class Settle down! We have a new student today." She walked up to her desk. "Please give them a warm welcome. Can you please come in?" She asked me. I slowly walk into the classroom and observe my fellow classmates.  I then recognize a few people I've met in middle school. "Hi" I slowly waved at them. "Would you introduce yourself to the classroom!?" I nodded my head."Hello, my name is Sonic. Sonic The Hedgehog. I just transferred here. I hope to become friends." I smiled at everyone. Ms. Maria was about to say something before the door slammed open.

It was Scourge. He didn't seem too happy to see me, and I was surprised to see him. 'Nooo, why are we in the same class together?' I silently screamed in my head. "Perfect Timing!" said Ms. Maria "As I was about to say, I was going to ask if we had any volunteers to show Sonic and his friends around school." She then smiled, and the classroom got very quiet. "Scrouge!" She was now looking towards his direction. "Since you been late to class this entire week. I want you to show them around campus." He now was surprised.

"WHAT!" He had screamed. "Yes, and if I hear you skip out from this. I will triple everyone homework." The classroom screamed at Scrouge in unison. "YOU BETTER DO IT!!!" He groaned. 'It's only the first period, and I want to go home already,' I signed and asked Ms. Maria, where I was sitting at. She pointed at a purple cat and told me I was sitting next to her. I went up to my desk and sat down. I look at the cat next to me. "Hey, I'm Sonic! What's your name?" I politely asked. She faced me and stretched out her arm. "I'm Blaze!"

*LUNCHTIME*

'Today has been a very exhausting day. I've been avoiding Scrouge because I would be seeing him after school. Not just for the tour but his lecture as well' I arrived at the cafeteria and spotted Silver. I rushed towards his table. "Silver!" I shouted to him, and he noticed. "Sonic, how the day been?" I then noticed Blaze sitting next to him. "Blaze? " Silver got confused for a sec. "You know each other." He was pointing at both at us. "Yeah, we're in the same classroom together. How do you know her Silver?" "We're childhood friends back to elementary school." Said Blaze.

She then glared at me. "How do you know, Silver?" I had a feeling she knew Silver rank. "We met during middle school. After I caught some Alphas trying to attack him." She looks surprised and quickly looks at Silver. "Is that true? You were attacked?" Silver hesitated but then nodded. She quickly went to grab him, but I stopped her. I knew what she was going to check for. "He isn't mark! I made sure of that." She seemed to calm down a bit. She signed.

".....your.....?" She mumbled something, and I didn't her. "What?" She looks me dead in the eyes. "What's your rank?" She asked. "I'm an Alpha!" 'She seemed trustworthy, but I didn't want to risk it. "And you haven't done anything to Silver?. " She was questioning me. "No! I'm immune to omega scent!" 'Well since I'm an omega as well, but she didn't need to know that yet.' "Is that true, Silver!?" She had asked him. "Yeah, Sonic doesn't get affected by an omega in heat." "I see. Well, I hope you can continue to protect Silver. Now, if you will, excuse me. I need to attend something. I'll see you soon." She had left us alone.

When Blaze was out of sight. I quickly asked Silver if she was an alpha. Silver responded with a yes. Luch was over, and we had to go to our next class. "Oh, before I forget, meet me at the rooftop after school. We got a tour guide to show us around." I told Silver. "Alright, I'll let Tails know as well when I see him." Before I knew it, school was over, and I was on my way to meet up with Scrouge.

Scrouge P.O.V

"Fucking Hell, that bitch is lucky. If she wasn't related to him. I would have pounded her." I clench my fist in anger. "If she wasn't related to who?" A dark, low voice growled behind me. I slowly turned to see the one person I didn't want catching me saying that. The most powerful Alpha in the school. "Shadow! I was talking about someone else!" I frankly panicked. "Mmmm. Very well." Shadow walk past me but then he froze in his track. "By the way" he turned to face me. "You seem to know that blue hedgehog. Mind telling me who he is!?" 'Why is shadow interested in that pest'.

"I know him but not that well. Why are you interested in him!?" I folded my arms. "I was going to ask Rouge a favor." I suddenly felt a strong pressure on my body. "DUDE, CHILL!" I was having trouble breathing. The pressure went away, which meant Shadow had calmed down. "What favor did you need!?" He didn't sound too happy. "I wanted to ask her if she could look up some information about the blue hedgehog." I was able to catch my breath. 'Damn Shadow is no joke'.

"Fine!" I grinned a bit, knowing I would find the answer I needed soon. But I celebrated too early. "Under one condition!" Shadow had one finger up to my face. "What would that be?" I asked. "Help me get close to the hedgehog!" My eyes widen a bit. I didn't want to involve him with a member of the royal family. 'Damnit, Shadow!' I wanted to grab him and tell him to stop this nonsense, but that would only make it worse. "I'll see what I can do. But I need to find Rouge now." I sped off away from Shadow.

Shadow P.O.V

I watch Scrouge take off. I don't know why I suddenly want to know about the blue hedgehog. Something about him seems familiar to me. "Damnit" I was about to head downstairs, lost in my thoughts. I didn't realize I bumped into someone until they yelp. "Ow" I look to see I bump into a young fox with two tails. "You alright?" I offer my hand to get him off the floor. I noticed he had a freshman tag. 'Why is there a freshman coming to the sophomore floor.' "Yeah, I was looking for my friend." He grabs hold of my hand and I help him up.

"Who is your friend? Maybe I've seen them." I asked. "His name is Sonic. He's a sophomore." 'Sonic? I've never heard that name before.' "Can you tell me what he looks like? I never heard the name before." The fox boy raised his arm to my eyes. "He about this tall, and he's a blue hedgehog." I was shocked that had caught me off guard. "No" I shook my head. "I haven't seen him." The kid seemed disappointed. "Oh, okay. Thanks anyway." He walked past me. 'This is my chance'

"Hey, Fox!" I shouted to him. "Yeah? What is it?" He slowly turned to face my direction. "By any chance, is your friend interested in track?" 'I know this may sound creepy, but I want to be close to him.' "Actually, yeah, he is! He was planning to go see the team captain in the morning." He suddenly went silent but spoke again. "But he caught up in something, and he couldn't make it in time." He was rubbing his neck. 'This works out perfectly.' I grinned a bit. "Well, I'm the team captain for the track team. Let him know we have afternoon practice, and if he wishes to join, tell him to stop by."  He nodded "Alright, I'll let him know. Thank you by the way." He continued on his way and I went with my day as well. "Hope to see you soon Sonic!"

After School

I was with my track team. "Yoo, Shadow!?" I turned to face Fleetway heading in my direction alongside him was my twin brother. "Fleetway! What do you want?" He floated down next to me. "Have you seen scrouge? He promised me his time tonight?" 'Seriously, can't those two not be on each other every day' "No, last I seen him was when he was looking for rouge." We heard distant screaming.  "Did you hear that?" Fleetway was looking around confused.

"No, That hedgehog is shouting!" Mephiles was pointing at something.  Both I and Fleetway tried to see who it was. We spotted an Albino hedgehog running in our direction. "DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE FLEETWAY IS?" He was shouting. "Do you know him Fleetway?" I ask him. He shook his head. "Never seen him before" "E..EXUCE ME, DO YOU KNOW WHERE I CAN FIND SOMEONE NAMED FLEETWAY?"

"That depends on why you're looking for him?" 'He didn't seem bad and I know Fleetway can take care of himself. But I wasn't taking any chance.' "Scrouge is in trouble....my friend....is" He was catching his breath. Fleetway then shouted at the albino one. "WHAT DO YOU MEAN HE'S IN TROUBLE!?" Fleetway was glowing. "Are...you...Fleetway?" He was scared now. Mephiles then stood between the both of them. "Fleetway, calm down. Let him finish." Mephiles turned to the albino. "What going on? What happened to scrouge?"

Sonic P.O.V

Classes were finally over for the day. I was planning to rush over to the track field, but I had the school tour with scrouge. "Sonic! Can I have a moment of your time?" My homeroom teacher, Miss Maria, was calling out to me. "Yes?" "I know I put scrouge to give you the tour around school along with the other transfers students." She sighed. "Just don't give him a hard time. He's going through something difficult at the moment. " She gave me a sad smile.

I shook my head to let her know I understood. "Thank you for your time. Please enjoy the rest of your day." She left the classroom. I just stood there with my thoughts. 'I never hated scrouge. I know what he's going through somewhat. I just want to fix things between us.' I exited the classroom and went down to the first floor to meet up with everyone else.

"Sonic!" I heard my name being called behind me. I turned around and saw Silver. "Silver! How's it been?" Then I noticed a sweet scent and unconsciously ran towards Silver. "Silver, your scent is coming through!" He looked surprised. "IT IS?" 'I'm so happy. Tails always make sure I carry supplements.' I reached for them and quickly hand them over to Silver. "What happened to cause you to emit your scent?" Silver swallowed the pills, and we stood there until his scent went away.

"What happened to you?" I gently shake silver. "I don't know." He looked confused. *sigh* I grabbed hold of Silver hand and walked with him together to our destination. "Sonic?" Silver quietly called my name. "Mmm?" I responded back. "Do you think I'll find the one?" He was blushing a little. "Why? Someone caught your interest?" I gave a smug smile. "What! NO! I was just asking." He was getting flustered. "Who know?" I shrugged my shoulder. "But if you do find someone. Let me know. I'll keep you safe until I know they are perfect for you." I poke his cheek. "Awww" we both turned to see a white bat.

"Sorry for intruding on your romance. But that's adorable." said the white bat. "And you are?" I made sure to stand in front of Silver. "Name's Rouge, honey. Don't worry about me. I'm an omega like your mate here." She sway her hand down. 'She thinks Silver is my mate. Best keep it that way for now.' "Thanks. But it's not official yet." I grabbed Silver and pulled him next to me. "Sonic?" He was blushing hard.

"Ah, I see!" She got closer to us and turned face towards Silver. "If things don't work out between you two. I have someone I can introduce you. You seem his type." Silver had a confused look on him. "His type?" He questioned. The bat grin. "Innocent!" She declared. 'I need to cut her off.' I grabbed Silver hand. "Thank you for your time...uh!?" She extended her hand. "Rouge The Bat! But you can call me Rouge." She smiled.

"Thank you, Rouge! But we must get going now." We started to make our way to scrouge. "What does she means by Innocent!?" Silver asked. "Don't worry about it. It's nothing." I answer back. "We should get to the first floor. Before scrouge mood gets worse."

Scrouge P.O.V

"Damn! Where the hell are they? Can't believe I have to show that rat and his friends around school." I was getting impatient. 'Why today of all days too.' "Excuse me?" I turned to see that fox. "Are you Scrouge?" The fox asked. "Yeah! What of it?" I was getting frustrated. "I'm Miles Prower. But my friends call me Tails." I growled at him. "I didn't ask for a fucking introduction kid. Where are your buddies!?" He back up a bit then he smiled. 'Why is he smiling?'

"Sorry for being late! We had a little stop." I turned to face Sonic. "FINALLY!" I shouted at him. "Scrouge, I don't mind you treating me like trash, but can you not with my friends." I just scoffed at him. "Let's go. The sooner we start, the faster I can go home." 'Hopefully nothing goes wrong.'

Scrouge P.O.V

'Luckly, this tour is going smoothly. I can feel my heat coming.' "Hey, Scrouge!" The blue rat was calling out to me. "What do you want, Sonic?" I glared at him. "Are you feeling alright?" He tried to touch my forehead. I smack his hand away. "I'm fine. Mind your own damn business." I growled at him. I turned and walk away from them. Then it hit me. The next thing I knew, I was down on my knees and breathing heavily.

"SCROUGE!!!!!"

'Fuck, I'm in trouble'.

Sonic P.O.V

'Scrouge was acting weird. He often stops and clench his chest every now and then. Like he's trying to hold something back.' "Sonic?" Silver was whispering to me. "What is it silver?" O asked. "Something wrong with me? I'm starting to feel hot again." That surprise me. "Again?" 'Silver heat ended, and  now it's coming back again.' "How? Your heat ended, and you took the pill to stop it. How are you getting it again?"

Then it clicked. I turned to face Scrouge. "Tails! Can you keep Silver back?" Tails was getting concerned. "Yeah." He grabbed Silver hand and pulled him away. I walked towards scrouge. "Hey Scrouge!" I shouted out to him. "What do you want, Sonic?" He was glaring at me. "Are you feeling alright?" I tried to touch his forehead, but he smacked my hand away. "I'm fine." He started to growled. "Mind your own damn business! Let's just finish this." He continued  to walm away.

I look towards my friend and then I wave of sweet scent filled the area. I quickly turned around to see Scrouge on his knees and panting. "SCROUGE!" I shouted out to him and ran towards him. "GET AWAY FROM ME!" He shouted at me. "I don't need your empathy!" He then went limp on my arms. "TAILS, SILVER!! I'M GOING TO NEED HELP!!" Both them comes towards me. Silver was slowing down and grab his chest. 'Shit. Scrouge is a Dom Omega. His pheromones can affect other omegas.'

"SILVER, STAY AWAY! SCROUGE SCENT IS CAUSING YOU TO GO INTO HEAT!" Silver went further away from us. "WHAT CAN I DO TO HELP IF I CAN"T GET CLOSE." I quickly shake Scrouge hoping he'll wake. "Scrouge, answer me real quick. Do you have a partner or anyone in particular?." He groaned. His eyes open and he tried to push me off him. "Get away from me!" He wouldn't trust me so easily.

"Don't worry about me attacking you. I'm immune to omega scent." He looked at me with question. ".....way," he said. "What?" I asked again.  "Fleetway. I need him." He started to shake. "SONIC!!" Tails yelled at me. "Students are coming this way. I think they are Alpha affected by his pheromones."  When I heard that other Alphas were coming. I hurried carried scrouge bridal style. "Tails help me take scrouge to the roof. We can keep the other students away until help comes." Tails nodded.

I turned to Silver looking at us with worried. "SILVER!!" I shouted to him. "Yes?" He responded.  "I NEED YOU TO FIND SOMEONE NAMED FLEETWAY!! HE'S THE ONLY ONE WHO CAN HELP SCROUGE. WE"LL BE AT THE ROOF!" Silver nodded and took off. 'Hopefully he can find them.' "Come on Tails. Let's get Scrouge to the roof." Me and Tails hope things don't get ugly.

Silver P.O.V

After Sonic told me to find someone named Fleetway. I noticed a lot of Alpha looking for them. "Damn, where is that omega." A black wolf was sniffing around along with the others. I hurried past them since my heat was affected by Scrouge sudden outburst.  I quickly was asking other students where I could find Fleetway.  Someone told me I had a better chance at the track field.

I quickly rushed over there. 'Please let them be okay.' I was panicking, repeating that inside my head. I soon saw the track field but a lot of people. So I shouted as loud as I could. "DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE FLEETWAY IS?" I saw the track team and hurried over. "E..exuce me, do you know where I can find someone named Fleetway?" I was completely winded.

The track team looked at each other and then towards me. Then a black hedgehog with red strips spoke up. "That depends on why you're looking for him?" I caught my breath. "Scrouge is in trouble...my friends...is?" Then a glowing yellow hedgehog appeared in front of me furious.

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN HE'S IN TROUBLE!?"

He yelled at me. I was getting scared. "Are...you...Fleetway?" I shakily point at him. "Fleetway, calm down let him finish." A Gray hedgehog with teal strips stood between us. He then asked me, "What's going on? What happened to scrouge?" I took a deep breath. "Well...scrougewasshowingusaround schoolandthensuddenlyhisheatcameoutofnowhereandnowmyfriendsaretryingtokeephimsafeuntilsomeonenamedfleetwayshowsupandmyfriendstookhimtothwroofforbetterprotection." I quickly told them. Then I saw the yellow hedgehog take off heading towards the roof.

I suddenly felt weak and I fell towards the ground. I felt someone grab me. I don't know who did. "We need to take him to maria. His scent is leaking through." That was the last thing I heard before I fell unconscious.

Chapter Text

Sonic P.O.V

I was holding the door shut. Alpha students kept trying to open the roof door. Tails was currently trying to help scrouge. "Sonic, the supplements aren't working!" He was visibly shaking. "What do we do?" I didn't know what to say in this situation.  Shaking my head. "We just have to wait on this fleetway person to show up." I felt the door being pushed a bit, and I slammed my body force to keep it close. "We just have to keep scrouge safe for now."

"Why not use your presence?" Tails suggested. "I can't! That will make it worse, and it will blow my cover." I knew it would have been faster, but since I'm pure-blood it can affect the entire school. I lost focus and strength to my body. The door slammed open and sent me flying. 6 Alphas were now standing in front of us.

"Hand Over the Omega. And we'll let you and your friend go." Said a big brown bear. "Or we show no mercy." He brought out his claws. I got myself in a fighting stance. "Eh...hahaha...!" I turned to see scrouge standing up while panting. "Stay out of this blue. They want me. They have to beat me first." The group started laughing. "You think an omega in heat can beat us. Don't make us laugh." He snapped his fingers. "Get them!" He pointed at us.

3 of them charged towards us. "Tails, keep scrouge away! I'll handle this." I got into a fighting position. Two of them tried to tackle me, but one thing they didn't know about me. I was too fast for them. I was able to avoid them and side sweep one of them to the ground. 'Hurry Silver, not sure how long I can keep them at bay' "SONIC!" I heard Tails screaming my name, and I lost focus for a split second.

One of them was able to punch me on my side. Causing me to fly towards the wall. "Hahaaaa! Not so tough alone, huh!" A black wolf grab my neck to keep me on the ground. I growled at them. "Don't worry, we'll take good care of your omega friend!" Two of them kept me pinned while the rest went towards scrouge. Tails tried to stop them but ended up getting smacked away.

I had no choice but to use it. Just when I was about to release. I felt a bloodthirst presence. "KEEP YOUR FILITY HANDS AWAY FROM HIM!" I saw a golden flash rush towards the group sending each of them flying. Someone had kicked the two pinning me down away. "Are you alright?" A deep voice called out to me. I looked up to see a black hedgehog with red stripped looking at me, offering me a hand. He then frozed and stared at my eyes.

He shook his head and helped me up. "Thanks!" I hurried rush over to Tails. "You okay, bud!?" Tails hold his head where he was smacked. "I'm fine!" He looked up at me and froze for a bit. Suddenly whispering, "Your contact is missing." I quickly cover my left eye. 'I must have lost it during the fight.' Tails handed me an eye patch. Quickly putting it on.

I turned to see the 6 Alpha's being held by black tentacles. "I already alerted the teacher about this." A Gray hedgehog with teal strips were holding them in place. I rushed over to where scrouge was. "Scrouge!" I saw him being carried by the floating golden hedgehog. He glared towards me. "Hey, Meph! You missed one of them!" "no" scrouge whispered softly. "He's not with them. He protected me." Scrouge panting in Fleetway arms. Fleetway stared towards my direction. "Thank you!" He said.

I noticed him tighten his grasp on scrouge. "For Protecting Him. I own you one." I frantic waved my hand. "No, no, no. There is no need for that." I didn't want them to think I only did it to gain their favor. He then nodded his head before taking off away from the school.

"Hey!" The Ebony Hedgehog walked towards me. I frozed. Just standing there and staring at him. "Let's take you and your friend to the infirmary." He grabbed hold of my hand. I blushed when he did this. 'What's going on with me!' "What happened to your eye? It was fine earlier." He started to reach out to touch my cover eye. Subconsciously, I placed my hand over it.

"It's nothing. I just lost my contact. Can't see very well without it." Quickly telling a white lie. "Okay!" He responded. We started making our way towards the infirmary. I haven't realized my pheromones were leaking out.

Shadow P.O.V

I was gently leading the blue hedgehog towards the infirmary. I noticed a sweet scent in the air. 'Strange? I usually can't smell an omega in heat!' "Hey!" The blue hedgehog looks towards me. "Yes?" He shyly said. "Not to be rude, but what's your rank?" He looked shocked for a bit, then responded. "I'm an Alpha. Why are you asking?" I couldn't answer that right away.

We had made it to the infirmary. I open the door inside. I saw my older sister treating another student. "Ms. Maria?" said the blue hedgehog. That caught her attention. "Sonic? What brings you here?" She questioned without looking at us. "Sis!" she perked up and looked in our direction. "Shadow?" She gasped on how Sonic looked. "What happened? Where are the other students!?" Sonic spoked.

"Scrouge went into heat during our tour. A couple of Alpha students tried to get to him. I held them back until Silver was able to get help." He had explained. "Where is scrouge?" She asked. "Uhhh..." Sonic looked towards me. His eyes asking for help. "Fleetway took him home. The other two are okay. He's the only one who got hurt." Without even realizing I had grab hold of his hand. "I brought him here to treat his wounds."

My sister had sighed. "Okay! You can borrow the bed other there. You know where the medical supplies are." The student she was treating was done. She stood from her chair and went towards her desk. "Here!" She toss me her keys. "It's getting late soon. So when you're done. Please lock up." She head towards the door. "Give it to me at home. Bye!" She waved goodbye and closed the door.

"You know Ms. Maria?" Sonic had questioned me. "Yes, she is my sister!" I had instructed him to sit at the bed. "How do you know my sister?" I asked him while I was getting the bandage. "She's my homeroom teacher." He answered. "I see." I went to sit next to him while I started to bandage him up. I haven't realized I was being intoxicated with his scent.

Sonic P.O.V

I don't know why, but I couldn't keep my eyes off him. Something about him feels so familiar. "Uhhh.." I tried to speak to him. "Hmmm!" He responded to let me know I had his attention. "I never catch your name?" He looked me in my eyes. "Shadow. My name is Shadow!" He had already finished putting on the bandage.



I looked away. "Thank you, Shadow!" I blushed a bit. "For helping us back there." "No problem." I haven't realized my scent was getting stronger. Shadow had shaken his head a bit. "By the way, those were some moves you did back there." "OH!" I didn't realize he had seen me. "Yeah, I learned from my uncle." Shadow had smiled. "You're fast. How would you like to join the track team?"

I gleamed through my eyes. "Yeah! I was planning on joining the track team anyway. But this whole mess happened." I signed. I heard Shadow chuckle. "Well, lucky for you, I'm the captain of the team. So if you're still interested in joining...." I cut him off before he could finish. "Yeah! I would love to join!!" Shadow looked a bit shocked before he let out a small laugh.

"Okay! We have a meeting in the morning. You can join us tomorrow." I wanted to hug him there and now, but I held myself back. "Thank you!" My pheromones were now stronger. Shadow had gotten up to put the remaining bandage away. But he wobble on to the table. 'Something felt off'. I stood up to see what was wrong.

"Shadow?" I reach to tap his shoulders. Shadow had turned around. He had grabbed ahold of my hands. Pushing me backward towards the bed. "Hey! L..let go!" I tried to free my hands off his grip. Shadow had successfully pinned me on the bed. I had noticed he was breathing heavily. That's when it clicked!

"SHIT!"

Shadow P.O.V

I don't know what happened. Everything went blank. The last thing I remember was getting up to put away the media supplies. "S......" I heard something or someone. "L.... ...o.." IT was all a muffle. I could feel myself putting pressure on something.

"SH.......!!!" My body feels hot. I never felt this way before. Why is this happening. I felt something pushing me away.

"SHADOW!!!!"

I got out of my trance. And finally noticing what I was doing. Below me was sonic trembling while I was holding him down. "SORRY!!!" Immediately letting him go.

Sonic P.O.V

Shadow had me pinned down on the bed. Grabbing hold of both my hands. "Shadow!?" I tried to feel my hands at least one of them. 'Why? Why, now of all time, does my first heat came?'

"God damn it! I gave my only pill to Silver earlier." I mumble to myself. Shadow had lower his head.

Sniff Sniff

He was smelling me. I turned my head away and noticed a single pill on the counter. 'Hopefully, that is a heat supplement.' Trying even harder to free myself. "Let go!" Finally freeing a hand. I reached towards the pill. "Got It." Instantly taking the pill, I could feel my heat going down. Shadow, on the other hand, was still in a trance.

'How was this possible? I'm marked how can I affect other Alpha? And why did my heat came!?' I started to push Shadow so I could get him off me. I screamed.

"SHADOW!!!!"

He jolted. Shadow was regaining himself. I haven't realized I was trembling. He immediately let go of me. "SORRY!" Backing away from me. "I'm so sorry! I....I d...don't know what came over me." He was grabbing hold of his quills. Before I could say anything.

Knock knock

Someone knocked on the door. "Sonic?" I knew that voice. "Are you in here?" Shadow had walked towards the door, letting them in. "Tails! What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be with Silver?" I questioned him. "I was, but you were taking a while." He was giving me a worried look. Shadow then interrupted, "We were discussing about the track team. I was wondering if Sonic here was interested in joining."

Shadow turned to leave, "Sonic, my offer still stands. I'll see you in the morning if you're still interested in joining us." He had left the room leaving me alone with Tails.

"Sonic! Did he do anything to you!" He sounded concerned. 'I didn't want to worry him. "Nah! I'm good! Why you asking?" He fidget his tails. "He was asking me about you earlier today." I couldn't help myself but smile. "He was?" I don't why but something about shadow made me feel warm.

"It was probably about the track team he mentioned." "The one you were trying to joined today!" Tails was gleaming in joy. "Yeah, and He's the Captain too." Tails had the most shocked face.

"THE CAPTAIN!!!"

"You got invited by the track team captain!" I chuckle at his excitement. "So, are you joining?" I gave Tails the seriously look. "Uh, yeah, I'm joining. I got personally invited by the team captain themselves. So I'm not passing up that opportunity."

We were already by the school gates where Silver was waiting for us. As we were heading home. So many questions keep popping in my head.

Why did my heat start?

Why was Shadow affected when I'm marked already?

Why does Shadow make me feel warm?

Will this affect us in something good or bad?

Hopefully my questions will be answered in due time. I can't wait for the next day.

Shadow P.O.V

After leaving the medbay I started heading my way outside. Many thoughts were going through my head. But one main question remained 'how was I affected?' Already leaving out the back entrance towards the track field. 'What happen to me? I was under the influence of a omega scent. But how?'

Subconsciously I had my hand behind my neck. Softly speaking "I'm marked, so what happen to me?"

"Oh, Shadow!" A voice calling him from behind.

Without even looking to see who called out to him. "What do you want Rouge?" Watching Rouge landing next to him. "Wow, someone sounds grumpy!" I growled at her. 'Things won't go my way today.' I noticed Rouge was creeping close to me. "Was a omega in heat near you?" I flinch at her words. "Maybe" I looked away from her trying to hide my blush from her. Which I don't think went well. A huge smirk was slowly appearing on her face.

"Ohhh, Is that a blush I see!?" Rouge was trying to sneak a peek of my face. I instantly placed my hand on her face pushing her away. "Rude! You can't do that to a lady!" Her statement made me chuckled. "You a lady? More like brute."

When I said that, Rouge tried to round house kick to my head. Despite her efforts I was faster to move away. "Like I said, a brute!"

"I'LL SHOW YOU BRUTE!!" Rouge had shouted. Trying to land a hit on me. A small smile appear on my face. "Look likes, you're improving." Skidding away from rouge. 'I need to clear my head' Rouge was panting meaning she was getting tired.

"Hey Rouge, mind telling Maria I'm gonna be home late tonight." I turned to leave. I heard Rouge shout something but I couldn't hear her. As I reach the first floor I spotted Sonic leaving through the school gate with his friends. Something about Sonic feel familiar like I meant him before. "I should do something to blow of some steam, probably head to my usual spot later on." I made my way out the school gate.

Sonic P.O.V

"How you feeling silver? I didn't see you at the infirmary" We were making our way home. Can't believe so much as happen on the first day. "I should be asking you that. Scrouge  heat may had effect me a little but you have a eye patch Sonic!" Silver had answered. "I was wondering that as well?" Tails questioned. I really don't want to answer them. I'm really going to make Tails mad at me. "Well during the commotion I may have lost my contact."

As I was saying that my ears were slowing lowering themselves. "Sonic!!" Tails shouted. Tails quieted himself before speaking again. "You have any idea how difficult it is make them." Silver step in the argument as well. "Tails right, You can't go into a regular store to buy them. It'll rise suspicious to them."

I groaned to this. "I know, it'll put me in a difficult situation." I realized we were halfway home. 'I should look around for a bit.' "Sonic?" I didn't noticed I was lost in thought. "Yeah, buddy?" "Did you hear what I said?" Tails was questioning me. "Sorry buddy, I was lost in thought." Tails signed at this. He's used to me doing that often.

"I said it would take me a few days to make you a new contact. So you're stuck with that eye patch till then." Now it was my timed for me to signed. "Awww, man. The patch would get in my way." Silver laughed at my misery. "Well good luck not to blow your cover." Silver continued to giggle.

"Well I'ma head out for a bit. Check out the area!" Before Tails or Silver could protest, I had already dashed off. A few hours had passed. It was getting dark. "I should probably head home soon."  I was about to start running but in the distance I spotted a playground. Something about it felt off, like it was pulling me towards it.

I made my way towards it. It was a kids playground a bit old compared to the others I seen. I felt comfort as I sat on one of the swing set. "Why does it feels so familiar like I been here before?" I didn't know what to make of this. " I know for certain this is my first time here. I think?" Getting of the swing set finally deciding to make my way home.

Something caught my attention when I walk past a tree. Getting closer I saw marking on it. "S and S together forever? What a weird thing to write? Looks kinda old." Placing my hand of it. Feeling the craved out word on the tree bark.

Sonic P.O.V

I couldn't move. I wasn't expecting Shadow to show up here. I wanted to run. Run back home. But something was telling me to stay. Shadow was standing behind me.

"Sonic? Is that you?" Shadow had called out.

I slowly turned to face him. "Hey, I wasn't expecting to see you so soon." Shadow was just staring at me, like he was searching for something on me. "What are you doing out here so late?" Shadow had questioned me. "You know just checking out the areas. Enjoying the scenery." I hadn't realized I had started fidgeting a bit.

Shadow was looking past me towards the tree. "What were you looking at?" I turned back to see the little craving on the tree bark. "Just something that caught my attention that's all." Shadow walk closer till he was next to me also looking at the craving. He mumbled " S & S together forever?"  He kneel down and traced his hand on the craving. "Looks old. Like it was craved years ago."

"Do you know what the two S's stand for?" I asked him. "Not sure but it seems it did had the full name on here but it was crossed out. Not all the way but enough so it will be hard to read it."  Shadow then stand up still eyeing the marking. I couldn't keep my eyes off him. Something about him seems so familiar. It was silenced for a bit.

"Have you thought about my proposal to joining the track team?" Shadow finally spoken. "Uhh, yeah. Was gonna stop by in the morning like you requested." I can feel my body warming up. 'Am I coming down with something?'  Shadow turned to look at me, but then his expression changed. "Are you alright?" He sounded concerned.

I haven't realized I was swaying around from where I was standing. "Hmm? Yeah.....yeah. I'm doing fine." Shadow placed his hand on my forehead. "You are warming up!" I back up a bit so his hand is touching me anymore. "No,no. I'm fi...!" I didn't get to finish what I was saying. Next thing I knew I was falling backward towards the ground.

"SONIC!!"

I felt something had grab of hold of me. Seeing that Shadow had caught me before I had hit the ground. "You're burning up!" I felt another pair of arms go under my legs. Shadow had lifted me off the ground. "Tell me where you lived so I can take you home."

"I lived at 45###3 Ch#### ##tr##!" I wasn't sure if I was able to fully tell him. I felt my mind going blank. But Suddenly felt a gush of air going around me. Shadow had taken off running. Before I almost passed out. I saw we were heading towards the right direction. Everything went dark so after.

Shadow P.O.V
I was watching Sonic fidgeting a bit. I noticed he started to breathe heavily. "Are you alright?" I had asked while trying to stand up. He seemed out of it since he was swaying around. "Hmm? Yeah...yeah. I'm doing fine." I reached to place my hand on his forehead. His temperature was rising. "You are warming up!!" Sonic had moved backward. "No,no..I'm fi...!" Suddenly He was falling back, realizing that I went to grab a hold of him.

"SONIC!!''

I shouted his name and was barely able to grab a hold of him before he hit the ground. His temperature had gotten worse during that short period of time. "You're burning up!" Placing my arms under him so I could get a good grip of him. I had lifted Sonic off his feet into a bridal carried. I shouted at him. "Tell me where you lived so I can take you home!?"

He mumbled softly but it was slowing getting softer alerting me he was gonna blackout soon. But I heard him, " I lived at 451803 Chaos Street" I took off running, sonic had fainted but his temperature was getting worse. It didn't take me long to reach his home. The lights were on which let me know he didn't live alone. Reaching sonic front door, I started pounding at the door. "Yeesh, I'm coming. Hold on!" I heard someone shouted from the inside.

When the door finally open I was surprised it was his fox friend. He didn't address me because his eyes fell on sonic right away. "Sonic?" He tried to grab Sonic from my arms. I slightly pulled away. It caused his fox friend to look at me with a surprised look. "What happened?" That's when I realized I had been growling at him for awhile now. I took a deep breathe to calm down. "I'm not sure what happened or what cause it. But Sonic suddenly started panting and he fainted on me."

"Why were you two together anyway? Sonic didn't say he was meeting with anyone!?" He was staring at me with suspicious. "We met by chance. He was at the park while I was heading home." I decided to keep the tree a secret for now. "We chatted for a bit then suddenly he went like this. I quickly tried to bring him home as fast as possible." My statement seemed to calm down his friend.

The Fox was acting nervous for a bit. "If you don't mind, can you carry Sonic to his bedroom?" I was completely surprised he would trust me so suddenly but then again he is short and probably couldn't carry him. "I usually ask Silver to do it but he went out to the store not to long ago. So I didn't have much choice but to ask." I fix my hold on Sonic, heading towards the stairs. "Which room is Sonic?" I asked the fox before up. "It's the blue door on the right side."

The fox had his phone on his hand. Seems like he going to call their other friend. I started making my way up the stairs when I made it to the second floor I instantly noticed his bedroom door. Making my way over and then entering, I was surprised to see how normal his room was. I gently place Sonic on his bed, without even thinking I petted his quills back . Then the unexpected happened, he started to purr. I flinched back and quickly leaving his bedroom. I was now standing outside his door blushing so hard. "Why did he purred?" I silently went down stairs upon seeing the fox pacing around the room. "HEY!" I called out to him.

That caught his attention and was now facing me. "He's resting on his bed now. By the way what's your name anyway?"
"My names is Miles Prowler but everyone calls me Tails." I went towards the front door. I'll probably see you at school tomorrow to see how he is since he probably won't show." Just as I opened the door another hedgehog falls through hitting the floor. "Silver!" The Fox shouted. The silver one lifted his head off the floor.

"TAILS!! IS SONIC OKAY?" He shouted. Fox boy shushed him. "He's resting in his room but you may wake him with your shouting" Fox boy faced me. "Sorry bout that Shadow. I'll let you know how Sonic doing tomorrow." I nodded heading outside. The front door slowly closed before it close I heard something I was not expecting to hear.

"Sonic heat started!"

Shadow P.o.v

'Sonic heat started?' I thought to myself. I was leaving the premises of Sonic home. Lost in thought about this new information. Reaching my home in a few minutes. "Welcome home Shadow, back from afternoon run!? You are usually gone till late at night?" My big sister Maria had greeted me back home. "Yeah had a run in with a fellow classmate. They went had some trouble so I took them home." Maria had given me a warmed smiled. "Was it the Sonic fellow?"

I flinched at her question. "What made you think it was?" She shrugged, "No reason" Maria went back to what she was doing previously. I then noticed how quiet the house was. "Uh, where is Mephiles and Rouge at?"

"They are staying the night at Rouge Boyfriend place." I raised my eyebrow. "The knuckle head? But Mephiles can't stand the guy and he's staying at his place? What's the catch?" Maria hummed for a bit. "Not sure, they had a argument and suddenly they both left the house in rush." "Huh" I made my way to the stairs. "I'm making some dinner, do you want any?"  Stopping at the top of the stairs. "No thank you, Maria. Heading to bed have a track meeting to put together tomorrow." I went towards my bedroom. The moment I landed on my bed. Everything went dark.

I heard something fall to the floor. Groaning awake till I saw a figure rushing to pick up the stuff they had dropped. "Mephiles?" I questioned. Mephiles got a little startled a bit before turning around to look at me. "Hey! Sorry for waking you up."  I sat up on my bed to see what time it was, "Mephiles, it's 3 in the morning. I thought you stayed over at Knuckles place with Rouge?" Mephiles groans at this statement. "I needed advice about something."

"Advice for what?" I questioned him. "Relationship wised."  I never in my life would I see my twin interested in someone. "Really? Someone caught your attention." I felt a big grin forming on my face. "Yeah" I saw a little blush forming on his face. "But why Knuckles? Fleetway is also in a relationship with Scrouge." Mephiles made a face I never though he would ever make. "No way am I asking that horny freak anything related to relationships!!" Mephiles shouted. Quickly to shush him before he woke Maria. "Keep it down! But seriously why Knuckles?"

"Because Knuckles is the only one in our group with a decent relationship. Fleetway is too wild. And you are single." Mephiles pointed at me when he said that. Okay I had enough at this. I got off my bed heading towards my wardrobe. "Where you going?" Mephiles asked. "Going out for a early run since I was awoken 1 hour early." Grabbing my limiter rings. "See you in a hour" leaving the comfort of my room heading towards the front door.

Once outside I jog around the neighborhood for a good 45 minutes. Then suddenly I recognized I was near Sonic home. -"Sonic heat started!"- That statement suddenly came to mind. "Should I check up on him" I mumbled under my breathe. Debating for a bit if I should or not. Why am I so concerned for someone I just met. But it felt like I knew Sonic for a long time and I that I met him before. "Maybe a quick check up wouldn't hurt?"

It didn't take long to reach his place. But I noticed how quiet it was. I then noticed Sonic other friends weren't in the house but Sonic was. "Strange?" Since I've been inside their home it was easier to teleport inside. Once inside a strong scent hit me. I felt weird not knowing why. "Sonic?" Heading towards Sonic bedroom. I heard rasping breathing inside. "Sonic? You there?" Gently knocking on his door. "Sonic I'm coming inside." I went to grab the doorknob and quickly and silent as I could be I went inside.

I saw Sonic on his bed wrapped in his blankets. The scent I smelt was stronger. "Sonic?" I called out to him. Reaching out to wake him. The moment there was contact. Sonic pounced towards me. I was suddenly pinned on his bedroom floor. I looked up to see Sonic. All I saw was how he was sweating and heavily breathing.

Then everything went blank.

Tails p.o.v

This wasn't supposed to happen. I was surprised and shocked. I was upset about the frantic knocking on the main door. Then, upon opening the door, there stood Shadow carrying Sonic in his arms.

"Sonic?" I tried to reach out to grab him. But then Shadow pulled back and started to growled. I was not expecting that reaction from him. "What happened?" Shadow look at me shock. Seemed he caught on what he was doing. He took a deep breathe to calm himself. "I'm not sure what happened or what causes it. But Sonic suddenly started panting then he fainted on me." I recognized the symptoms but that couldn't be right. It just couldn't.

I look at Shadow, 'was it him?' I thought. "Why were you two together anyway? Sonic didn't mention he was meeting up with someone?" " We met by chance. He was at our local park while I was heading home. Chatted for a bit then suddenly he went like this. I quickly tried to bring him here as fast as possible." I sign in relief. 'At least he brought him here before it got worse. Need to contact silver as soon as possible.'

"If you don't mind, can you carry Sonic to his bedroom?" I started to fidget my fingers together. "I usually ask Silver to do it but he went out to the store not to long ago. Didn't have much option but to ask." Shadow adjusted his hold on Sonic. "Which room is his?" Shadow made his way to the stairs. "It's the blue door on the right side." I pulled out my phone so I could quickly informed Silver.

Once Shadow was out of sight, I quickly dialed Silver. Didn't take long for him to answered.

("Hey, Tails!" What's up?")

"Are you on your way back?"

("Yep! On my way back! Why?" )

"I'll tell you when you get here. How fast can you get here?"

("Be home in a few minutes")

Silver hang up soon after. I started to paces around the living room. I didn't noticed Shadow was already at the bottom of the stairs case. "HEY!!" Shadow had shouted out to me breaking my pace. "He's resting on his bed now." I noticed on Shadow faced he had a slight blush. "By the way what's your name anyway?" Shadow was heading towards the front door while asking me. "My name is Miles Prowler but everyone calls me Tails." Shadow had stopped at the front door.

"I'll probably see you at school tomorrow to see how he is since he'll probably won't show." Shadow had opened up the front door along with Silver face planting towards the floor. "Silver!" Silver must had noticed I was talking about Sonic. Silver lifted his head off the floor the shouting.

"TAILS!! IS SONIC OKAY!?"

I shushed him. " He's resting in his room but you may wake him up with your shouting!" I looked towards Shadow while he had a shock confused look on his face. "Sorry bout that Shadow. I'll let you know how Sonic doing tomorrow." Shadow nodded walking out closing the door in the process. I look towards Silver. "Sonic heat has started!"

Silver quickly placed a hand over my mouth. "Shhh, that guy could hear us." Grabbing his hand away from my mouth. "I know, that's why I said it."

Silver quawk at my response. "Why? We don't know who this guy is and if he could be trusted!?" I understand what Silver was talking about. "I have a theory but I'm not 100 percent certain yet."

"What could that be?" Silver questioned. "My theory is about Sonic mate and who it could be" Looking towards the door. "And you think that guy could be it?" Silver pointed. "I think so but not 100 percent certain." Then we heard rustling going on upstairs. "Tails!?" Silver look up towards the ceiling towards Sonic bedroom is located. "Yeah?" I responded.

"Is this Sonic first heat?" I understood his concern. "I believe so. I never witnessed his heat before since he was marked." Then it hit us, a strong pheromone came in contact with us. Instantly I grab Silver hand rushing towards the front door. Making our way outside fresh breeze of air hit our faces. Once outside I slammed the door right away. "What's is going on with Sonic, Tails!?" Silver was shivering, hugging himself. Luckily I was able to grab the small box I keep by the front door.

Opening it I grabbed 2 suppression supplements pills handing 1 to Silver. "His heat is strong. Too strong."

"What are we going to do? Clearly we can't go back inside, his pheromone is powerful enough to make us react to it." Silver levitated off the ground. "Imma check on Sonic?" Silver flew closer towards Sonic bedroom widow. He was up there for a few good minutes before coming back down. Looking upon Silver faces he was red. "He's making a nest! Why is he making a nest?"

I started to laugh at his reaction. "Silver he's marked. So a nest is normal for marked omega." Despite saying this it did make me blush a little. Mostly everyone know a marked omega makes nest for their Alpha. It's also a sign to their mate they were ready for the next step. "I know that but still." Silver now was sitting on the ground. "Clearly we can't stay here . Less we risk having our own activate on us."

"I know where we could probably stay at. Only thing I hope is that they still live there?" Giving Silver a hand to help him onto his feet. "Who are you speaking of?" Silver asked. "A old childhood friend I had here before I moved." I answered. "So we taking your vehicle or we walking there!?" I look at Silver with disbelief.

"Really? You forgotten we both can fly." Twirling my twin tails around to create my signature helicopter tails. "Come on, I know where to head to. Just hopefully they still live there." Silver was about to activate his own powers before stopping himself.

"Wait! What about Sonic? We can't just leave home here" Silver was worried. "We can check on him tomorrow morning but we can't be anywhere near him right now. If you are worried, I have the home security active in case something happens while we are away. Sound good?" It took awhile for Silver to agree.

Then we both took off, leaving the house behind us.

It was a good 30 minutes for me and Silver to reach our destination. "You sure they won't kick us away." Silver questioned. "No way! We been friends forever. Thought I have seen them in 5 years." I went up to the door gently, knocking on it. It didn't take long for someone to answer.

Upon the person who opened it. Was my old childhood friend Cream. "Tails?" Cream eye widen in surprised. "Is that really you?"

"Hi, Cream!" Waving my hand at her. "It's been a while." Suddenly Cream is streaming towards inside the house. "Mom! Mom, come here quick! You won't believe who's here!"

Suddenly, a kind, gentle looking loopy ear bunny woman appeared at the front door. "Oh my! Is that who I think that is?" Making a shock look upon her face. I gave her a smile. "Hello, Ms. Vanilla! It's been a while. Is it alright to come inside?"

"Not at all. Please come inside." Steping to the side to let us through. We headed towards the living room, taking a seat on the sofa she had there.

"So why the sudden surprised visit!?" Vanilla asked. "Well, I had already planned to visit you, but something urgent came up at our home. And we couldn't stay there for the time being!" I could feel Ms. Vanilla giving me a stern expression. "So I was hoping me and my friend Silver can stay for the night? Or till the issue is resolved."

"Well I don't mind at all. I'm sure Cream will be thrilled to spend time with you again." Vanilla gave us a big smile. Cream came into the living room. "Mom, the guest room is ready!" "Thank you sweetie! You two can share the guest room tonight if you don't mind." Silver finally decided to speak. "We don't mind. Thank you for letting us stay here ma'am!" Vanilla lead us to the bedroom. "Please let me know if you need anything." She then left to go to her own bedroom.

"You think Sonic will be okay tonight?" Silver asked. "Like I told you Silver our security will alert me if anything happens. Can we go to bed already? We can check on him in the morning." Silver and I went to bed before we know it it was morning already. I grab my phone to check on the time. What I wasn't expecting was multiple alerts I had received.

Quickly checking the home security, The first one went off around 3:50am and the last one at 6:50am. I opened the first video. What I saw was shocking or to be more precise who I saw. Shadow had appeared on our front lawn then teleported inside the house considering the motion sensors I had installed on the main floor. Opening the last one was Shadow teleporting outside looking rough up. "He didn't!? Know way he did it? Could he?" I quickly head towards Silver still sleeping soundly. Doing a light quick shake to proceed waking him up. "Silver, I'mma head back home to check on Sonic. I'll meet you at school." Heading towards the bedroom door.

"I hope you're okay Sonic?"
