Chapter 1: Wizards vs Daleks

Chapter Text

Waverly Place, New York, Earth-2624 ( Pre-Wish Timeline)

Alex Russo was tired.

How could she not be?

For the past three months, the 24-year-old been fighting against the invaders from beyond the universe, witnessed countless resistance groups fall, and worst of all, failed to save her loved ones when the invaders attacked her home, using the portal in the lair to invade the Wizarding World.

The bionical Lab Rats failed.

The many psychics at Sleevemore School for Psychics failed.

The various superheroes who hid in plain sight failed.

Even the most powerful magical beings failed after the invaders discovered that plastic neutralized their magic.

It was just her.

The last daughter of Earth.

"What would you give to undo it?"

Alex immediately spun around, pulling her wand from her boot as she found herself faced with...with...

Something that felt wrong to look at.

"Who are you?!" Alex asked, eyes narrowed.

"I'm just a Ghost." The so-called 'Ghost' stated simply. "Would you give anything to undo this travesty?"

Normally, Alex would've been suspicious about this... but after months of living in the new normal... she just wanted it to be over.

"...What do you have in mind?"

"I believe you've heard of La Piedra de los Suenos?"

Alex stiffened as faint memories from years ago came flooding back to her. Of a simple wish she made in anger that nearly cost her everything, undone only by her mother finding the single most powerful artifact in the world.

"The Stone of Dreams..." Alex whispered but she grew bitter. "I already used my wish years ago..."

"But what if I told you I could... alter the rules?" Ghost inquired making her pause. "A ritual. One that could let you use it again?"

"... That..." Alex narrowed her eyes. "I'm going to ignore how impossible that should be, because I am beyond desperate."

"Then we have a deal?" Ghost asked blankly.

"... You're sure this will work?" Alex asked, daring to hope.

"..." Ghost seemed conflicted, but that she could see his expression.  "Are you willing to pay the price?"

"... Let me guess, it'll kill me?" Alex's eyes narrowed in determination. "I'll lose anything either way? Might as well go out saving everyone."

"... Very well then." Ghost opened a portal. "Let us go."

Waverly Place, New York, Earth-2624 (Current Timeline)

Harper Beckerman, aka famed author HJ Darling, was suffering the worst thing a writer could.

Writers block.

Her popular book series, Charmed and Dangerous, a tale of a wizarding family and their non-wizard ward, couldn't think of the next plot.

It wasn't like she had no ideas, all of her books were based on her own experience with the Russo family, both before and after she learned Justin and Max were secretly wizards.

But she had no idea where to take the main character next.

It was so annoying.

"Maybe add a new supporting character?" Harper wondered outloud. "I could bring back Stephanie, the readers liked her but... I killed her off two books ago..."

Maybe she could... make up an original character? A rebel who fit the same role, but in a different way?

"That... could work..." Harper mulled it over. "But what to name her?"

Mavis Dracula? No. She already had a vampire in Pepe's girlfriend, Julia Von Hellsing.

Carter Mason? No. That sounded like a boys name, and she really needed more female recurring characters.

Mikayla Skeech? No. That just didn't feel right.

"Maybe..." Harper paused as she felt her head ache a little, as she found a name that was the tip off her tongue.

"Momma?"

Jumping, she turned to find her four year old daughter Alexandra at the door. "I'm hwungry."

"Oh, sorry sweetie." Harper replied, putting down her pen as she stretched. "I'll get right on that."

As she went off to order dinner, she paused. 'Alexandra... Alex...'

Yes. Yes, that was it! That was the perfect name! She could see it now! Giving the main protagonist a magical best friend who was a mischievous prankster yet could always be counted on to do the right thing.

The name 'Alex', for some unknown reason, was a perfect fit!

Grinning with new inspiration, she quickly rushes back and wrote it down before leaving to make dinner.

Pre-Wish

"You realise that, if we do this..." Ghost wanted to make sure she knew what she was getting into. "You'll never be able to return? You'll be cut off from reality."

"Yeah, I heard you the last few times." Alex snarked as she placed the Stone of Dreams in the center of the strange spell circle Ghost had set up.

"Just making sure you know what your doing." Ghost responded. "You remember the spell?"

"Yeah." Alex said, pulling out her wand, hesitating for a moment. "Hey... thanks..."

"... It's the least I could do..." Ghost responded before teleporting away.

Taking a deep breath, Alex began waving her wand. "Please..." She seemed to beg the Stone of Dreams. "I-I know I already used my one wish, but... please... help me save the world I love..."

Then the chanting began.

"Cosmic forces, hear my plea

Your aid, I ask of thee

Turn back the time, fill the void

Rebuilt what evil hands destroyed..."

As she continued chanting, the Stone of Dreams began glowing as cracks seemed to form on its surface.

From the cracks, the arcane energies within it leaked out and began swirling around Alex, her eyes closed.

"...Those who ended it all

Shall suffer pride before they fall

So to this shall this be,

The fate of the dark souls on the earth, land, or sea..."

Alex could feel the magic gathering around her. It felt more powerful, more fundamental, than anything she'd ever felt before.

It was then that she knew, the legends didn't do the Stone any justice.

"...A second chance, I do degree

Is all that is needed, for victory!"

At once, four things occurred.

The Stone of Dreams blew up.

A pair of teenage girls, who'd secretly been watching, grabbed hands and vanished in a flash of light.

Alex's eyes snapped open, glowing pure white.

And the spell she unleashed became a wave of white, that went on to coat the mountains...

The continent...

The planet...

The galaxy...

The very universe itself...

Dalek Fleet, Outerspace, Earth-2624

"SO. WE ARE AGREED."

"YES. THIS EARTH IS NO LONGER IN OUR GRASP."

"DIVERT ALL SOURCES. WE SHALL CLAIM THIS EARTH ANOTHER DAY."

Portland, Oregon, Earth-2824

In a flash of golden light, two women known as Cyd Ripley and Shelby Marcus appeared, both looking frazzled.

"Okay, so that wizard just did a spell, right?" Shelby asked.

"Yep." Cyd replied.

"And according to her and whatever that thing was, that apocalyptic future we travelled to won't happen?"

"Apparently."

"... Wanna jump ahead four months to make sure."

"Oh definitely."

Holding hands, the two time travelling best friends vanished from the present and into the future...

Just to clarify, the Stone of Dreams is gone. It does not exist Post-Wish because all the power was used up for Alex's spell.

Chapter 2: Rise

Chapter Text

New York, USA, Earth-200000

April O'Neil felt like she was being watched.

It was a sense she had sadly gotten used too, due to the various enemies she and her friends had made over the years. It had only gotten sharper after that day a few weeks ago...

"April."

"Karai!" April hugged the astral projection of her friends ancestor. "What are you doing her-Wait, where the heck even is here?!"

Karai chuckled in amusement. "We are in the astral plane, a metaphysical realm we're we can communicate spirituality rather than physically."

"Oh." April replied. "I... understood about half of that. But... why are we here?"

At this, Karai's face grew serious. "I'm sure you remember the Dusting."

April winded her eyes at this, taking a step back warily. "Yeah... wha- what about it?"

"I'm here to warn you." Karai responded, waving her hand as images appeared in April's head. "That event was only the beginning. It caused ripples that are still being felt through out the very multiverse itself."

Giant robots lead by a council of galactic tyrants.

Shapeshifters who infiltrated several worlds.

Waves of white that destroyed all they touched.

Among many others.

"What the...?" April stepped back in horror as the images ceased. "Wha-What can we do? How do we stop this?!"

"Be at ease, my child." Karai soothed, summoning more images. "For while dark may rise, the light will always meet it."

A blue phone booth that traveled through time.

A group who wielded strange key-like weapons.

And the Avengers, a team she was more than familiar with. Even if the line up looked a little.. different...

'How come Falcon's missing his.. well, pet falcon? And why's Spider-Man look shorter than he should be ?'

Among many others.

"But like all battles, we all must do are part." Karai dispelled tue images. "You and the Hamato clan will one day be forced to join the battle."

"Me?!" April looked at her like she was crazy. "I mean, I get the guys and Splints, but... I've barely been training for two years... I..."

"You will not be doing so alone." Karai assured her, standing tall. "I too, shall be returning with you."

"How-Oh." April blinked is understanding. "Like what we did to defeat Shredder? That Hamato mind meld trick?"

"Correct, with this, you shall be granted the power of Hamato ninpo, just as my descendants do." Karai told her. "You will need it to match the challenges that lay ahead."

"... Alright..." April nodded resolutely. "Hit me!"

Nodding in understanding, Karai's eyes glowed white as she lunged at April, merging with her as the astral plane was enveloped in a flash of light...

She could feel Karai's power within her, enhancing her senses, both physical and spiritual, and she was reminded how scary strong her friends were compared to baseline humans.

Captain America? The super soldier? Each of her four best friends had his package by nature. And most mutants she fought were naturally above average human level.

She never forgot how easy it would be for any of the mutant gangs she fought to crush her like a grape.

It was why she'd studied so hard with Splints, so make sure she could protect herself from the mutants that resided in several hidden cities across the globe.

She still remembered how shocked they'd all been with Draxum revealed there were more hidden cities than the one under New York.

'Focus, April.'

Shaking her head upon hearing Karai's reminder, April narrowed her eyes as she picked up speed.

Time to show this boozo who he was messing with.

Hidden City, Underneath New York, Earth-200000

"...so I should be able to make the trip to New York soon."

Leon grinned brightly. "Seriously? That's great!"

The rabbit nodded. "Yeah, those odd jobs finally paid off."

"You know we could've helped?" Leon asked.

"By that you mean have Donnie hack the nearest bank?" The rabbit raised a brow in mock seriousness.

"Yea-No!" Leon amended upon seeing the rabbit roll his eyes affectionately. "Aw come on! So I wanna see my boyfriend sooner! Is that a crime?!"

"No, but I'm fairly convinced hacking a bank is." The rabbit playfully retorted.

"Yuichi..." Leon whined.

"As I've told you, you can call me Usagi." Usagi told him.

"Are you gonna stop calling me 'Leo' instead of Leon?" Leon raised a brow in mock annoyance.

"... Touche." Usagi replied as they both burst in chuckles. "I gotta go now, see you in two days!"

"See ya!"

As they ended the car, the 16 year old heard the door open and found the 15 year old Mikey poking his head out.

"Uh, Leo-"

"Leon!" Leon groaned.

"Oh, right. Sorry." Mikey apologized. "Uh, Donnie and Shelldon got a call from April. Apparently some shapeshifter tried to kidnap her. "

Beat.

"Say what now?" Leon blinked.

Chapter 3: Babe Jaguar

Chapter Text

Los Angeles Zoo, Los Angeles, Earth-5282

"...and it looks like his biology has... slowed, for lack of a better word..."

After the shock of Babe talking wore off, Alicia immediately set off to do some tests while Diego watched awkwardly, only staying because of how curious he was about... this whole situation.

"'Slowed', how?" Diego asked, walking over.

"I can't be sure until we do more scans, but it looks like his cells have slowed down, which in turn affects his aging." Alicia cupped her chin in thought. "Current hypothesis is that he'll age at a rate more similar to a human, but that's a tentative theory for now."

Diego mulled that over before glancing at the bag of gummis, taking one in his hand warily before looking at the cub.

"And you started talking... because of this?"

"That's what I remember." Babe Jaguar told him, furrowing his brow. "At least... I think that's what happened..."

"Hold up," Alicia looked away from the readings. "What do you mean 'you think'?"

"I... think I spaced out?" Babe Jaguar lowered his body anxiously. "I... don't really remember..."

Taking pity, Diego petted the cub, who purred as he leaned into the touch.

Before anything else could be said, Diego's phone began ringing. Seeing the caller ID, he answered it with a smiled.

"Hey Dora, how's the sleep ov-"

"TheresanalienoctopusinKai-Lan'shouseandinvadersarecomingtoinvadetheplanetpleasehelp!"

Diego pulled his phone away from his ear as his cousin rapidly spoke before hanging up. Alicia and Babe both stared, Dora having spoken loud enough for them to hear her.

Eventually, Babe tilted his head curiously with an innocent question.

"What's an 'alien'?"

Citadel of Pigheads, Pighead Dimension

Jaguar Pig, aka Babe Jaguar, aka Earth-5282's Pighead, sighed as he closed the viewing portal he'd conjured.

A portal of what had once been his past.

He didn't think he could handle looking into the copy's present. To know what his life could've been if he never put on the mask.

In some ways, he was envious of his other self. He got to live his life as the innocent talking animal that would spend his life enjoying adventures with his friends, maybe help Oswald and go defeat some transdimensional alien invaders, yet would never know the blessing and the curse that came with the mask.

His remembered the day he put on the mask and joined the Council, losing his innocent and gaining the maturity that came with it.

Meanwhile, due to an incident involving Earth-38's Pighead and an experiment involving black kryptonite, this Babe Jaguar would never know these emotions.

It was like Morgan Le Fey and Lena Luthor. Lena was the remaining goodness that Morgan failed to snuff out.

Babe Jaguar was the innocent life that Jaguar Pig could've had, a life where he never put on the mask and remained the young cub who would never have his ignorance taken from him. Who could spend his life living happily in the zoo under the care of Alicia and occasionally go on adventures with Diego and the others.

He would never wear the mask, never join the Council of Pigheads, would never become him.

He could've just killed the brat. He should've done that.

But he didn't.

Diego... he deserved the copy. Thanks to the black kryptonite, Diego could go about his life as he should've. Together with his family.

It was a life that Jaguar Pig, who worked for the Council, could never give him.

Sure, he could've faked it, but Diego and Alicia deserved better than to be potentially dragged into the Council.

So, making sure they wouldn't was his personal priority.

And if that meant he would never be 'Babe Jaguar' to them, meant letting them enjoy their lives with that fake, than Jaguar Pig would endure it.

For his family.

Chapter 4: Of Refugees and Time Ladies

Chapter Text

Apartment MF-33, Toronto, Earth-030122

"Penny for your thoughts?"

Jack Robinson, a refugee from Earth-3733, glanced from the checker board to see the concerned face of his close friend, Phryne Fisher. The lady detective was so far the only other survivor after that wave of white-... destroyed, their home...

"Fine. Perfectly, fine." Jack responded, downing his shot. "Just... still getting used to it..."

"Ah." Phryne looked down and Jack felt bad for his pity party. Miss Fisher had spend decades of her life trying to find out what happened to her sister, and now the rest of her family was potentially gone? Though she was incredibly good at faking emotions, he was fairly decent at picking them up. "Right. Any word from Susan?"

Ah yes, the surprisingly human-looking alien who had rescued them and several others, before dropping them all off here, in an Earth that essentially served as a refugee for people like them, who lost their worlds.

"None so far, last anyone heard from her was when she dropped off those three wolf men from Earth-849. And that... dog from Earth-2023..." Jack replied, recalling the meeting. As a member of the Illuminati 'police' -if you could call it that- he was granted access to such things.

"Shame..." Phryne had wanted to continue travelling with the girl, but Susan had gently yet firmly turned her many offers down.

"Checkmate."

"Wha-Jack?!" Phryne gasped in mock anger as she realised she'd lost, pouting at him. "I would've won!"

"Hm, maybe..." Came Jack's stoic yet cheeky response.

Rolling her eyes, Phryne smiled as she reset the board.

Stella's Tardis, Earth-8475

"Golly Ms Stella, that sounds like a lot of trouble."

Stella Storyteller, formerly of Earth-231163 before fleeing to Earth-847, smiled at her dear friend as she sipped her tea from within her TARDIS. Though many would find the sight of a giant purple-green T-Rex, especially one with his design unnerving to look at, she knew her dear friend would never cause any trouble. After all, it went against his nature.

Barney was the universal embodiment of imagination, a being who had existed for over two hundred million years and had met all sorts of beings throughout his lifetime. He appeared to kids who were lonely or going through troubles to let them know that somebody was always watching out for them, ready to help if they'd let them. Why they seemingly always imagined him as a purple dinosaur was a tad odd, but then again, odd was a natural thing in the life of a Time Lady, such as her.

"I know," Stella groaned. "Between the weakened barriers, it's chaos out there in the multiverse."

"I wish I could help, but..." Barney looked downcast. Though he was one of, if not the most powerful being in this universe, there wasnt a lot he could do about others.

"Oh, Barney," Stella placed her cup down and put a hand on his comfortingly. "You help enough people every day, you've done more good than most Time Lords I've know... and I've lived quiet a while..."

After all, she had spent all her life adventuring, seeking out new stories to learn of and tell to her friends. Sadly, Stella was on her thirteenth and final regeneration, having used up the other twelve long ago. In fact, she had once formed a baseball team with her previous twelve regenerations -who she called her 'cousins'- thanks to using a clock -that was secretly a time synch device- to allow them all to interact without messing up the spacetime continuum. An invention that, she was proud to say, was built with her own two hands.

"I know, but..."

"No buts," Stella told him. "The kids of this Earth rely on you to protect them, and you've done a wonderful job fighting the invaders while I'm out there doing recon."

"Aw..." Barney blushed at the praise.

Smiling at her friend, who'd welcomed her with open arms when she crash landed on this Earth without a moment's hesitation, Stella's eyes gained a twinkle in them as she got an idea. "Hey, how's about I tell you a story from Gallidrey?"

Barney's eyes widened in delight. "Oh! Oh! That would be amazing Ms Stella!"

Chuckling at the god-like beings excitement, Stella gained a wistful look on her face as she recalled an adventure she had long ago, back when she was training to become a Time Lady.

"First, let me tell you about a dear old friend on mine, named, the Doctor..."

Like the WMG , Stella's TARDIS is split into two parts, with the travel functions being the door and the suitcase being the TARDIS interior thanks to a chameleon circuit. Also, Stella's pet cat Muffin is actually a Gallifreyan cat.

Chapter 5: Nicktoons Unite

Chapter Text

Basement Lab, Retroville, Earth-4086

"Alright, roll call!"

"Danny Fenton of Earth-692, present!"

"Timmy, Cosmo, and Wanda of Earth-709, present!"

"SpongeBob SquarePants of Earth-1999, present!"

"Tak of Earth-9022, present!"

"Zim of Earth-4704, present!"

"Kitty Katswell and Dudley Puppy of Earth-TU77, present!"

"Bunsen of Earth-8148, present!"

"Jimmy Neutron of Earth-4086, present." Jimmy sighed in relief as everyone responded like they should've in the order they should've. Kitty had suggested a specific order they should respond, in case someone tried to infiltrate their comms, like Vlad possessing someone.

It had been a while since the Nicktoons had managed to all come together like this, not since the eleven of them had teamed up to save the multiverse from Vlad Plasmius and his new legion of supervillains, only to end up teaming up with them to stop Clockwork, a powerful ghost who had been driven insane from Vlad's prison, requiring the Nicktoons to snap the time ghost back to his senses before he caused untold destruction. All of that had been a week before the fabled 'Dusting', which had thankfully spared the Nicktoons and their main allies in a stroke of luck.

Since that day, the Nicktoons had been on alert and regularly kept contact with each other in order to properly prepare for any future multiversal shenanigans that might come their way.

"Alright then, anyone have anything too report?" Jimmy asked.

A few head shakes occurred, before Danny spoke up. "Yeah, something... odd happened in my Earth."

"Define 'odd'." Jimmy requested.

"Right, so I was fighting this ghost named Nocturne, calls himself the 'ghost of dreams'," Danny made air-quotes at this. "He did something that put all of Amity Park into slumber land using these dream helmets. So I got me, Jazz, Sam, and Tucker free but then when we got too fighting him... he was already fighting someone."

"Who?" Kitty asked.

"She said she was from another Earth," Danny crossed his arms. "Her name was Alice Johnson, apparently she's been traveling the multiverse via the dreamscape for while now."

"Why?" Jimmy asked.

"That's the thing," Danny looked slightly sick. "Apparently, some sicko from her Earth got loose and she's been trying to find him, asked me if I knew a 'Freddy Krueger'."

"Like Frederick Charles Krueger?!" Kitty gasped in horror. "He was a child murderer! Me and Dudley busted him last week!"

Dudley shivered. "Never seen a sheep so creepy..."

"Well, that's... unfortunate..." Jimmy said as the others looked sickened by this news.

"Did she say anything else?" Wanda asked, concerned.

"Just that she's looking for some prophesied girl who's destined too defeat him, or Krueger himself," Danny shrugged helplessly. "She thought she sensed him on my Earth, but it turns out she was sensing Nocturne's powers."

"Where is she now?" Tak asked.

"She left, said that the longer she hanged around the more people could die." Danny looked down.

"Hm, that's unfortunate." Jimmy rubbed his chin, eyes closed tightly. "Come on... think, think!... BRAIN BLAST!"

"Uh oh, I know what that means," Timmy rolled his eyes as fudgehead got up from his chair, typing on the computer.

"Danny, do you have any of Nocturne's helmets?" Jimmy pointedly ignored the bucktooth boy.

"Uh, yeah, mom and dad are looking into them, why?"

"Perfect! Get me in touch ASAP!" Jimmy ordered. "If the energy Nocturne used is similar to this Freddy person Alice was tracking, I might be able to create a way to keep him from entering any of our Earths!"

"Phew." SpongeBob, Dudley, and Cosmo all sighed in relief.

"One direct link to Fenton Works, coming up!" Danny nodded, seriously.

The main Nicktoons team consists of the eleven characters mentioned at the beginning. Other allies (Team Phantom, TUFF, Team Neutron, ect) are secondary members.

Chapter Text

Satalite of Love, Earth-3000

"Ugh," Zonic stretched his limbs as they walked into the theater removed. "That was not fun."

"Tell me about it!" Jenny rolled her eyes. "Can you believe how cliche those guys were?"

"We did have a bit of help from you know who," Brooke smirked as she put her hands on her hips. "Thanks to her, that whole mess just zoomed by."

"Why did you put emphasis on that word?" Zonic looked up at his girlfriend before face palming. "Ah. It was a pun... damn it, how did I miss that?"

Brooke just giggled at him.

"I'm sure it'll be a great story that'll be out in a flash." Jenny glanced at you with a smirk and a wink.

"Oh yeah, that writer is a total speedster." Brooke agreed, looking at you.

Zonic just stared at the wall they were looking at before shaking his head. "I will never get used to these fourth wall jokes."

"Anyways," Brooke got back on track. "You'd think after travelling the multiverse, the Council would learn about messing with organics."

"Like the Decepticons who ended up Earth-51B514?" Zonic asked, idly wondering when the Earths designation was changed.

"Yeah." Brooke snapped her fingers as the theater screen turned on and showed Sung Jin-Woo gazing down at  a fatally wounded Megatron from atop the shadow Tusk's giant palm. Around them were several dead Decepticons, including Starscream, Soundwave and his cassettes, Shockwave, and several others.

"This.. this cannot be!" The Megatron of Earth- 797979 gasped out, denial clear on his face and voice. "Y-You're an organic! A weak, insignificant, organic! I CANNOT BE-"

At once, he was decapitated by an angel-like shadow before his torso was blasted apart by a giant ant shadow. These were Bellion, the Grand Marshal and strongest shadow in the universe, and Beru, one of the Top 5 strongest shadows in Jin-Woo's army.

"HOW DARE HE ACT THAT WAY TO MY LIEGE! HE SHOULD-!" Beru was cut off when Bellion knelt before his king, using one hand to slam Beru's head to the ground before Jin-Woo.

"My Liege, I apologise for not asking." Bellion didn't face him. "Where you still talking to that robot?"

"Nah, I'll get what I need from him soon enough, anyways." Jin-Woo waved him off. "Though you'll have to take extra care of these ones, perhaps moreso than the King Titan."

"Leave it to me, my liege." Bellion replied.

Turning away from his soldiers, he looked at the many bodies that littered the battleground. Each of them had shadows pouring off the corpses that only he could see, their screams still carried on a wind only he could hear and feel, and all of them were going to find out what happened to those who threatened Jin-Woo's Earth.

"Arise."

At once, the shadows erupted from every single body, until shadow soldiers that were the spitting image of the Decepticons rose up and stood above their corpses, standing before Jin-Woo. Among them were Starscream, Soundwave, Laserbeak, Starscream, Knock Out, Breakdown, Airachnid, Dreadwing, and Shockwave. All at once, all of them knelt down before him, each of them looking at their new liege, their new king with never-ending respect and loyalty.

As all dead did before the Shadow Monarch, the God of the Dead itself, who held dominion over those that were deceased.

"Now," Jin-Woo turned from them, facing the departed Megatron. "Arise."

The shadows seemed to move before halting. Jin-Woo frowned at this. Figures he was one of those strong willed ones, so it wouldn't be easy to summon him.

"Arise."

Once again, nothing.

"Third times the charm," Jin-Woo mused, though he suspected that he wouldn't succeed. "Arise."

The shadows seemed to erupt, but her knew better. The shadows died down and there lay nothing but Megatron's dead corpse, his soul refusing to return as a shadow solider.

"Hm, I can at least respect that." Jin-Woo admitted before facing his newest shadows. "Which of you is the strongest?"

At once, the shadow of Soundwave stood up and stepped forward. In life, Starscream would've tried to take the title, but as a shadow soldier, he'd never lie to his liege's face.

"Rank?"

"Soundwave: Knight Rank." The shadow of Soundwave responded.

"Hm, very well." Jin-Woo unsummoned all of his shadows, aside from Bellion, Beru, Igris, and Soundwave. "You shall lead the robot branch of the Shadow Army, am I understood."

"Soundwave: confirms command." Soundwave nodded in affirmation.

"Good, then I trust you'll have no issue anwsering my questions?"

"Soundwave: awaits your command." Soundwave knelt down once more.

"Who sent you here? The portal didn't lead to the dungeons." Jin-Woo asked.

"Decepticons: from another Earth." Soundwave responded. "Goal: conquer."

And so, Sung Jin-Woo would learn about the Council of Megatrons, there goals for multiversal conquest, and would later share this info with the Hunters Guild.

"That was cathartic." Zonic commented, munching on a chilli dog he got from the snack stand, all three of them sitting in the theater's chairs as they watched the clips.

"Yeah," Jenny agreed. "Hey, what's going on with Earth-9C93?"

"Oh.. uh.. i-it got wiped out a few days ago..."

The trio sat in silence for an uncomfortable amount of time, before Zonic tried to change the subject. "How about Earth-5773-"

"Also gone."

"Uh, Earth-113?"

"Gone to."

"Earth-4563?"

"Gon-Uh," Brooke paused briefly before furrowing her brow. "Hold on..."

With those words the screen lit up.

Jani-Ca, daughter of Knuckles and Julie-Su, collapsed to her knees as she took in deep breaths. She'd just spent a lot of power to transport her, her mother, cousin Remington, and friends Dagger the Walrus, Cutlass Depardieu, Scarlette Rabbot, Demo the Duck, Blockbuster the Polar Bear, and Payback the Fox, from their dying world before the wave took it.

"The hell?!"

The group of refugees all looked to see Sylvie Laufeydottir staring at them with wide eyes.

Cutlass, sheepishly grinning, raised a hand in peace.

"Héhé, bonjour ? This situation, it is most awkward, no?"

The trio stared before Zonic chuckled with a nostalgic smile. "Classic Zantoine..."

BTW, Dark Mobius was destroyed by the Super Genesis Wave, NOT the Antimatter Waves.

Chapter 7: Starlight

Chapter Text

Star City, Washington, Earth-1

Felicity Smoak read through the article, it talking about the newest 'vigilante', who was calling herself Starlight.

It wasn't much, mainly just how she operated in the city of Des Moines, was surprisingly prone to cooperating with the local law enforcement, and her powers mostly being some form of electrical manipulation.

The ravenette looked at the photo. It was a decent enough outfit, though the lack of a mask was odd. Maybe her civilian look had dyed hair? Coloured contacts? Fake tan?

It still baffled her how a different hair colour or even just a new hairstyle could create the image of an entirely different person.

Still, it was always nice to see another person willing to fight the good fight. Maybe she can try and schedule a meet up? Let her know other heroes are always willing to lend a hand if she's overwhelmed.

Nodding, she pulled out her phone and dialed a number. "Hey Ollie, it's me. You're gonna wanna hear this."

Des Moines, Iowa, Earth-1

Annie January felt good.

Turning to dust, being stuck in a strange 'pocket dimension' -she thinks that's what that Morgana lady called it- and then returning home had been crazy enough. But suddenly awakening what the press dubbed a 'metagene' was wild.

Her mother, ever the devoted Christian, was convinced this was a gift from God and after the 'Dusting', Annie was inclined to believe her.

She spent all this time honing her powers, taking various classes -martial arts, gymnastics, ect- to make sure she was prepared.

She'd even managed to commission a supersuite by some nice lady, Jenny Everywhere, for free.

Annie had insisted on paying, but the woman just said 'the good you'll do is payment enough' . She'd eventually managed to convince Ms Everywhere to join her and her mother for pizza night, an odd payment but it made Annie feel better.

A week had passed since she made her debut, and she didn't regret anything.

Sure, protecting one of the most populated cities in the US was time consuming but that's why she tried to keep a positive relationship with the city police.

Thankfully, her home didn't have much crime that the law couldn't handle, but for the odd occasion, she did her part.

'Wonder if I'll ever meet the big leagues…' Annie internally wondered as she looked up at the cloudy yet sunny sky. The thought that she'd one day team up with other heroes, people who had gifts like her, both intimidated yet excited her.

Flash, Black Lightning, Batman, even the Arrow of Star City!

Granted, she heard rumors that the latter duo were just well trained non-powered humans, but that just boosted her admiration for them.

She wasn't stupid, she'd only been working for a week and she mostly dealt with ordinary crooks. She'd just be a liability in a battle against other metas.

'Which is fine, I can handle the small fry so they focus on tackling the big guns.'

That was how Annie rationalized it anyways.

Pausing, Annie heard a commotion and ran ahead, coming to halt as she heard yells of a hostage situation.

She quickly pulled out her spare phone and saw a text from her friend Hughie, informing he and a team of law enforcement were on their way.

'Well, some back up couldn't hurt.'

Spotting an alleyway, Annie cautiously made her way to the other and pushed a button on her necklace, which coated her in a brief glow as she found her civilian clothes replaced but her white and gold outfit.

She got to ask Jenny how she built this!

Leaving the alley, Starlight prepared for another day of work.

Unknown to her, she'd find her life would be becoming more exciting soon enough.

* Annie's outfit is her original outfit, because I vastly prefer it.

* Yes, it was indeed Morgan Le Fey that Annie encountered in the Soul Stone Annie

*In 2019s The Boys , Annie's powers were from Compound V. On Earth-1, they're the result of her metagene activating.

This also means the relationship between Annie and her mother won't become strained as Donna lacks her canon stage mom tendencies.

*Yep, Jenny is the one who gave Annie her super suit. The suit is enchanted with a perception filter, so she doesn't actually have a disguise.

Before you ask, no, this was not a mission by SC. This was something the Earth-1 Jenny did of her own volition.

* Yes, Earth-1s Hughie Campbell is a police officer and a highschool friend of hers, despite her being Christian and him being agnostic. He's also a sort of liason between Starlight and the Des Moines police.

He is also the only one, beside Jenny and Donna, who knows Annie January is Starlight.

One last tidbit, Hughie is married to Robin Ward-Campbell, who's still alive on this Earth. Annie was the latters maid of honour.

* Left it open for others to write Earth-1 Starlight's adventures. Seeing as she's a relative newcomer to the scene In-Universe.

Chapter 8: Timeless (Gran)Child

Chapter Text

London, United Kingdom, Earth-231163

"Now why did you insist on stopping here?"

Fifteen stepped out the TARDIS, walking about as he tried to figure out just why the time machine seemed so insistent on stopping in London on October 2nd in the year 1964.

"Grandfather..."

He paused, body stiffening as if the temperature rapidly dropped at the voice. Slowly, he turned around and saw a young woman, maybe in her early 20s at most, standing a few feet away dressed in a reddish-orangish striped woolly sweater and black trousers with matching boots. Her hair was cut short and in a bob, just like he remembered it being.

"You're finally here..." Susan sounded as if she couldn't believe it herself. "The TARDIS.. it remembered the time I gave it.. that Monk was right, he didn't find the hidden message..."

"I-What?" Fifteen blinked at that statement, glancing rapidly from the TARDIS and spitting image of his missing granddaughter. "When did you do that? Follow up question, how did you even get here?!"

"It.." Susan looked down, hugging herself tightly. "I've been living here for years now, ever since we said goodbye..."

"I-When did we say goodbye?!" Fifteen recalled his last words with her in his 'War Doctor' incarnation and it definitely wasnt 'goodbye'!

".. Of course, you have no idea what I'm talking about.." Susan shook her head with a mirthless chuckle. "Silly old girl..."

Before Fifteen could ask what on Earth she was talking about, she said a few words that tore through his mind.

"Westerly. Pelican. Dreams. Tornado. Clifftops. Andante. Grief. Fingerprint. Susurration."

At once, they began talking in sync.

"Sparrow."

"Dance."

"Mexio."

"Binary."

Now it was just Fifteen saying the last words.

"Binary. Binary!"

Suddenly, his pupils dilated as the memories came flooding back...

"I'm sorry grandfather..."

Fifteen's mind struggled to comprehend the words as they quickly faded away the moment they were processed.

The woman talking to him sounded broken and though he couldn't recall who he was talking with, it made him think of.. of..

Susan.

"I-I know you'll probably hate me, for what I'm doing, but I-I have to. I've seen where this leads, where it all goes."

How on Earth could he hate her?

.. Who was he talking to again?

"I longed to reunite with you, and I enjoyed all those months with your last incarnation, and Donna, and R-Rose.." A choked sob rang out. "..I enjoyed every second I got to finally reunite with you, but I acted too soon and now, I might have just sealed you in a deadly fate."

I-It was getting harder to think...

"One day, I promise I will come back..." A bittersweet tone coated her oh so familiar voice. "...yes, I will come back.. a-and until then, I mustn't have any r-regrets, n-no t-t-tears! N-no a-anxieties!"

Those words.. they sounded so familiar..

".. until then, I-I must go forward i-in my b-beliefs, and prove y-you weren't m-mistaken in y-y-ours..."

Words that felt like a lifetime ago..

"G-Goodbye grandfather! G-Goodbye!"

Susan...

All at once Fifteen gasped as he stumbled back, pressing his back against the TARDIS as he looked at the look-alik-!

No.. not a look-alike...

".. Susan..." He whispered, dimly recalling how history was repeating itself.

After Fourteen called and informed him, he dropped everything and rushed back to see his granddaughter, all fears of putting her in danger forgotten as he just wanted to confirm that his granddaughter was alive and she was well. That when he stumbled across David's dead body and Susan's broken wedding ring on Gallifrey before his time as the 'War Doctor' (or was it during that incarnation?), he had been wrong in assuming Susan had been another casualty of the Time War. That her body had been vaporised by whatever killed David.

He only stayed a couple hours, not being able to handle being in one place for too long, before he left but he and Susan promised to keep in touch.

Then, sometime later when he was  exploring streets of Berlin, she pulled him into an alleyway, claiming something terrible was coming and she had helped 'his' plans succeed. He had immediately tried to calm her down, wanting to help her in anyway possible.. before she blocked off his memories.

Just like he did with Donna to prevent her mind from burning.

"Hello grandfather..." His granddaughter smiled tearfully.

The hug was quicker than even a Time Lord could process.

"Grandfather, I'm sorry! I'm so so sorry!" Susan apologised profusely.

"What for?!" Fifteen didn't break contact as he held her.

"For making you forget I was alive! For making you think I was gone!" Susan sounded as if that should've been obvious.

"You had to deal with erasing my memories!" Fifteen recalled how wiping two years of Donna's life haunted him. How the knowledge that if she so much as looked at him, she could die.

And now his granddaughter had to live with that same thought. That dreadful feeling that if she triggered the memory block, she could damn a loved one to a gruesome end.

"Oh!" Fifteen suddenly pulled apart, looking excited. "We have to go tell Ruby!"

"Who?" Susan blinked before widening her eyes. "Oh! She was you're newest companion! You just finished traveling with her?"

"Yeah, but now I gotta call back! Wait till she hears I did find you again, she'll be delighted!" Fifteen grinned before he frowned as if he just realised something, looking her up and down. "Hey.. you look younger than when I last saw you.. young lady, did you regenerate again? What number is this?"

"Grandfather! I'm only on my third incarnation!" Susan huffed at him.

"Okay, good, so you only regenerated once since I last saw you." Fifteen eased up somewhat. "Dare I ask what caused it?"

"You may not!" Susan turned her nose up at him. "Besides, you are hardly one to lecture me on regenerating! Tell me, aren't most Time Lords only permitted thirteen regenerations? And was Fourteen lying when he told me that his 'twelfth' incarnation was actually his thirteen incarnation?"

"... Touché."

The two matched gazes before they busted out laughing, until they finally managed to recover and smile at each other.

"Would you like to come to my apartment for a spot of tea?" Susan offered as they began walking after making sure the TARDIS perception filter was on and the doors locked. "There's a whole box of your favourite in the cupboard I've been saving for this day."

"Ah, you finally managed to develop a fertilizer for gallifreyian tea leaf's!" Fifteen sounded delighted and proud. "That's my clever girl! I bet you've had all sorts of adventures, haven't you?"

"Oh yes, why, this one time I found some Time Lord technology on Earth-16 and had to fight this Heckyl lad over most of it." Susan recalled, frowning. "He caught me off guard when he transformed into this 'Snide' fellow and.. wounded me, using the chance to swipe a TARDIS, but I got the rest of the tech it in mine."

"Ah yes, the one you oh so brilliantly stole from The Master." Fifteen recalled. Secretly, he made a mental note to keep an eye out for this 'Heckyl' and 'Snide' duo. What grandfather wouldn't want to visit the ones who made his granddaughter regenerate, after all?

"Well, technically, all I did was physically reach out and convince it to turn against him." Susan smiled humbly. "It did the rest."

"And only someone like you would've thought to reach out to his TARDIS, eh?" Fifteen pointed out.

"Well, suppose I did play a small part then." Susan cheekily relented as the two laughed, sharing more stories, the two catching up for lost time.

Oh, they'd for sure go their separate ways soon enough, but for now? The two were content to enjoy each others company for the time being.

Unbeknownst to them, a woman in white with an umbrella was watching from atop a building.

".. and so, The Doctor was reunited with his beloved granddaughter, the terrible tragedy she desperately hoped to save him from having finally passed and now, there was nothing standing in their way as old bonds were made stronger than before." Mrs Flood said to seemingly thin air before smiling at you. "Though, as I'm sure you know, it doesn't matter in the long run, for I'm sorry to say that The Doctor's story is still fated to end in absolute terror, and there's nothing dear Susan Foreman could ever hope to do to prevent it." She then smiled. "Night-night!"

It was mentioned in Movie-Brats Countdown to Convergence story that Heckyl fought Susan for a TARDIS, so I expanded on that slightly. Here, Susan discovered several Time Lord technology and was able to secure most of it, but Heckyl transformed into Snide, resulting in her being caught off guard and wounded her. While she was regenerating, Heckyl took back control, stole the TARDIS, and left.

Needless to say, they better pray Fifteen doesn't find them. Cause he can get creative when it comes to revenge. And he'd make sure BOTH of them would feel it. Wouldn't want one of them to feel left out, would he?

Chapter 9: Venom

Chapter Text

Earth-688

'I swear to God, my life used to be normal once…'

As always, his life after becoming some type of superhero-vigilante-whatever was always trying to out do itself.

His current situation, in Eddie Brock's mind, served as the latest in a line of escalating adventures.

He'd been kidnapped by some maniac hunter going by 'Kraven', barely escaped with his life with his rescuers, some old lady in a wheelchair and her three sidekicks.

Oh, and the pair of vampires couldn't forget him.

**Behind you!**

Venom's voice yelled as a tendril lashed out, impaling the goon that tried to sneak-up on him. Venom then brought the tendril up, cutting him in half.

'Whoa, Jesus!'

Yep, he was never gonna get used to sights like that.

A few feet away, the three 'Spider-Women' fought in sync, all those years of teamwork having clearly paid off.

"Ugh!" Julia 'Arachne' Cornwall gagged as she caught sight of Morbius biting one of the goon's neck while Vampirina just snapped another goon's neck. "Seriously?!"

"Girl, focus!" Martha 'Anansi' Franklin called out, delivering a roundhouse kick to one goon.

Anya 'Arana' Corazon just rolled her eyes at them with a fond smile.

"Hm.. impressive." Kraven watched them fighting his men from some railings.

Truly, this hunt would be legendar-

A loud rumble made everyone pause, looking confused. Confusion gave way to alarm as the walls began dissipating as a wave of white washed over it.

"What the hell?" Eddie whispered out loud.

**EDDIE!**

Eddie jumped at how alarmed Venom sounded. "What? What is that?!"

**Antimatter!** Venom urgently responded. **Waves of it have been wiping out countless universes in the multiverse! I-I didn't know they were this close to our own…**

Eddie started, too stunned to move despite Venom's urgent pleas for him to move. He watched as the three ladies hugged each other as it washed over them. Watched Morbius and Vampirina shared one last kiss as they too were claimed. Kraven tried to run but tripped and could only let out a yell of terror as he was wiped out by the wave.

**It.. has been an honour, Eddie…**

Venom sounded so defeated, it broke Eddie's heart as he gazed at the wave inches from him.

"Right back at ya, big gu-"

In a flash, they disappeared before the wave hit them.

From her hiding place, the aged Cassandra Webb faced the wave. Even though she was blinded, she could tell which direction it was coming from. A single tear fell as she knew her wards were already gone.

"How did I not see this coming?" Was all she could say before the wave hit her.

Annie Weying and Dan Lewis enveloped each other one last time before the wave hit them.

Mrs Chen just nonchalantly lowered her newspaper as the wave hit her.

Outside Earth-688

Madame Web gazed down at the destroyed reality with sad eyes. Even if this world was home to her.. doppelganger.. it was never easy to see any world be wiped out.

Raising her hand, she summoned a card with 'Lethal Protector' on it. "Once upon a time, you would've briefly been sent to this reality. Now? I'm afraid you'll be spending much more time here. Good luck, Eddie Brock.. and to you as well, Venom..."

With those words, she sent them off to...

Hawaii (Earth-199999)

"-y."

He was on a bed.

Why was he on a bed?

Frantically sitting up, he gazed around in pani-

**WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?!**

Eddie's head shot to the side in terror at his partners terrified exclamation, only to sign in relief when he saw what it was. "O-oh! T-that's just a towel…"

"'.. in other news.."

Eddie turned to the TV, seeing a figure in a similar outfit to the 'Spider-Women' trio, stopping a speeding train.

**Hm?**

"W-what?! What is it?" Eddie whispered before Venom took over. The now towering black figure approached the screen, an intense expression on his face.

"That.. guy…" Venom uttered, dragging his tongue over the masked face.

He immediately retreated back into his partner as Eddie saw a man come out of the bathroom.

"Dude.. what're you doing in my room?"

Eddie blinked rapidly, looking around before shrugging with a tired look on his face.

"I-pfft."

* Earth-688 comes from the designation of the Sony Spider-Man Universe in the Spider-Verse film series. Speaking of...

* Oh boy, the Sony Spider-Man Universe. It's no secret that, while Venom is good, the others are.. not. Thus, wiping it out was a no-brainer.

Still, I wanted to treat the characters with respect.

This is a hypothetical Avengers like plot, with all the Sony heroes fighting a single foe.

Goes without saying that Eddie and Venom surviving was an easy choice.

* Considering I used 'Spider-Women' as the girls group name, I needed to pick a new name for Martha.

Anansi not only fits the spider theme, but also starts with an 'A' like the other two.

* Vampirina is Martine's alias. Post-Morbius, she reunited with him. Yes, that is a reference to the preschool cartoon Vampirina. I like it as a codename. Sue me.

* This line was actually inspired by the HISHE Madame Web video.

Obviously, this end is at least more dignified end then the one she got in that video.

* Mostly inspired by the Venom: Let There be Carnage mid-credits scene, albeit altered to fit within IC.

* Apparently 'Lethal Protector' is dual identity for Eddie & Venom. Who knew?

* Unlike canon, our favourite duo arrived before Peter's identity was revealed.

Expect to see them make their way to New York since, unlike canon, there's no home for them to return to.

* Yes, the news article of Peter stopping a train was a nod to the iconic moment from the Rami-verse movies. Ah, good old Mythology Gags.

Chapter 10: Seven Moments

Chapter Text

South Park, Colorado, Earth-3151515

Erica Cartman sighed in relief as she exited the portal and returned home to-. Find a wave of antimatter inches away from her.

"Motherf-!" Was all she could say before the wave consumed her and the rest of her world.

Highway, Oregon, Earth-200000

Ah, another glorious night for a drive. The hooting of owls, the rumble of an engine-

SHAKE

-the jolt of driving over a pothole.

"Uh, grauntie Agatha?"

Oh, silly her, she almost forgot her guests for this nighttime drive.

Her dear 'great nephews' William and Thomaw Maximoff plus her darling 'great niece' Vivian.

"Yes dear?" She looked into the rear-view mirror to see them.

Two humans and a synthezoid.

"Are you wearing a blindfold?" Billy asked as they went over another bump.

She let loose a cackle -one that came in handy on Halloween nights- at his question.

All three wore blindfolds, because if they didn't know where she was going, their parents could be mad about her taking them somewhere dangerous!

Another one of her brilliant ideas.

"Of course not! But considering the clouds obscuring the moon, my non-working headlights, and these sunglasses I'm wearing, I might as well be!"

Her eyes returned to the road, only to frown.

"What is that? A woodpeck-"

CRASH

"AAAHHH!"

As the three kids in the back screamed in terror, Agatha patted herself on the back.

Those enchantments to reinforce her windows against broken fences were worth every one of -Wanda's- pennies.

Omashu, Earth Kingdom, Earth-4714

Avatar Aang, last of the Air Nomads, narrowly managed to avoid a blast of blue fire by ducking at the last minute.

He and his pals, Katara and Sokka, had been travelling in search of a teacher so he could learn earthbending when they were attacked by three girls in Fire Nation colours.

Ty-Lee, a perky acrobat who reminded Aang of his old friends from a hundred years ago. Mai, a stoic knife thrower -or whatever the correct term was- who rarely missed.

And his current opponent, the Fire Nation princess his friends called 'Azula'.

"To think, Zuzu failed to beat a simple child such as yourself." Azula smirked mockingly as she dodged a blast of air with grace and poise. "Oh well, can't be helped."

Before anything else could be said, the sky turned red, bewildering everyone.. right now a strange wall of white came rushing at them, consuming everything in sight.

Azula watched in stunned silence as Ty-Lee took off running, while Mai's stoic expression broke just as the wave consumed her.

Sokka feebly reached for his sister as she was consumed, his face falling into despair before it quickly claimed him too.

"What.. what is thi-."

Azula didn't even finish before she was claimed.

And Aang, who once failed his task of protecting the world, could do nothing as he failed once again.

His eyes and tattoos briefly glowed white before the wave washed over him.

Republic City, United Republic, Earth-4444

Korra bolted up in bed in a cold sweat, wide eyed and gasping for breath. Her beloved polar bear-dog, Naga, woke up upon sensing something was wrong and walked over to Korra's bed to investigate.

"Sorry girl.." Korra apologised as her bestest friend approached, petting her for comfort. "I.. I just had the weirdest dream..."

A dream of a white wave consuming the world...

Hazbin Hotel, Pride Ring, Earth-91316

"You gonna check in or not?"

"S-s-sorry m-mister H-H-Husk!"

I quickly take the offered pen and find an empty spot in the registration book.

Cherri Bomb.. Mrs Mayberry.. Squish.. Baxter.. Crymini.. ah ha! There we go!

Quickly writing 'Collin' down in the typical fancy cursive all angels learnt, I gave a shaky smile to the cat-like sinner, who just closed the book and tossed me a key.

"'Welcome to the Happy Hotel'." Husk droned, sounding like the words were genuinely causing him pain. "'We hope you enjoy your stay'."

The Entity's Domain, Earth-534

Unseen by those forcibly dragged to its own domain, both from its local Earth and the other Earths in the Multiverse, the Entity watched as its newest acquisition awoke in a start.

Amanda Young of Earth-543.

It had taken delight in the way the revived Allision Kerry had tormented the three serial killers and considered dragging Kerry to It's realm as well, but decided against it.

While it potentially could have restrained her powers like it had done to several others, it didn't feel like the hassle was worth it when there were so many others it could drag into its world.

Speaking of.. he was now debating which version of Vecna to bring in...

Care-A-Lot, Earth Orbit, Earth-68

"Hey Secret Bear!"

The quiet bear looked over to see his best friend, Friend Bear, rushing over with a smile and a wave.

"I saw two kids who could use some caring, wanna come with?"

Smiling, he nodded eagerly.

After all, nobody cares like a Care Bear.

For the record, I added the Care Bears to IC Multiverse solely because of this line in Cleaning Duties:

"Animated series: This is a bit complex as to be honest, I'm not up on much anime such as Dragonball Z, One Piece, etc. SpongeBob SquarePants and the like are a tad too...childish may be the wrong term yet it seems to count. Now, someone else wants to run with those, fine but I think things are a bit wild enough without Avengers or Justice League dealing with Muppets, Care Bears and what not." - Michael Weyer.

Till this point, all of the mentioned fandoms in this quote have appeared with the exception of the Care Bears, so I decided to introduce solely for the humour.

Chapter 11: Of Rabbits and Mice

Chapter Text

Ink and Paint Club, Los Angeles, Earth-3799

"Gosh, it sure has been a while since we've gotten to just hang out here, huh?"

Bugs made a noise of agreement, munching on a carrot. In all honesty, it had been a few years since they last got to met up.

Discounting that brief period they were 'held captive' by that lazy self-insert wannabe, the duo had mostly been occupied with keeping their respective 'Core World' safe.

"How're things on Earth-2002?"

"Sora's still in possession of the X-blade," Mickey noted. "Though he knows not to use it unless he's fighting a cosmic level threats. What about Devoid's attack on Earth-35?"

"Eh, same old same old." Bugs waved it off. "The Earth-35 Justice League had their first encounter with the Multiverse with that whole Devoid fiasco, ya know?"

"Gosh, and their first multiversal adventure was basically a multi crossover fighting game?" Mickey blinked in surprise.

"Yep." Bugs snickered. "You should've seen their faces with the stuff Rick and Betelgeuse did."

"I'll.. take your word for it..." Mickey winced.

"Ah come on, Mick, don't tell me ya still that squeamish about those types of shows? Ya company owns Family Guy !"

"Don't remind me..." Mickey bitterly remarked. "That was the prime example of a show that should've remained cancelled."

"So I've heard." Bugs snorted.

"Bugs! Mickey!"

The two looked over to see Chip Maplewood and Dale Oakmont passing by, the cgi chipmunk in his signature red floral shirt while the hand drawn Chip wore his more casual outfit.

"Oh, hiya fellas!" / "Eh, sup docs?"

The chipmunks came to a stop, Mickey offering a hand to help them up. Once the two were deposited on the table, they got to talking.

"Hey, did you guys here? They found Ugly Sonic!" Dale told them.

Bugs and Mickey shared a discreet look before putting on their usual masks. "Well that's great! Did they find out where he got off to?"

"Nah, he's still ranting about something called 'the Void'." Chip looked unease.

"But, good news for him, Sonic managed to convince the Sega executives to put him in their new mobile game!" Dale pulled out his phone and brought up the app showing 'Ugly Sonic' racing 'Surge the Tenrec'. "Ah man, can you imagine how cool it'd be to be on a mobile game?"

"Oh boy, here he goes again..." Chip rubbed the bridge between his eyes as Dale's bright blue eyes looked at him in confusion.

"'Here I go again'?" He repeated.

Chip didn't pay attention, looking at Mickey desperately. "Mick, buddy, old pal, please tell me you can put us in that Mirrorverse app they're producing so I don't have to here him talk about it for the next week."

"Hey!" Dale glared before looking up at Mickey with a pleading expression. "But seriously, that would be awesome if you could!"

"I'll see what I can do, fellas." Mickey smiled. "But, uh, if you don't mind..."

Dale looked confused but Chip immediately picked up on it, and began pushing his pal to the edge of the table. "No prob, see ya later Mick!"

"Preferably with that app thing!" Dale called back as they jumped onto the next table, leaving the two icons to their original solitude.

"Are those two..?"

"I don't know!" Mickey threw his hands in the air. "There relationship varies from each version–brothers, cousins, best friends, lovers–I'm pretty sure half the time they don't even know what their relationship is!"

"Yeah, that's the think about infinite possibilities, ain't it?" Bugs shook his head fondly. "Reminds me of Buster and Babs."

"Enough about.. that..." Mickey replied. "So, any word on those escapees you were tracking down?"

"Eh, got a lock on half of them, but they're in the middle of stuff." Bugs replied. "I'll bring them back soon enough, once they've sorted it all out."

"You know, why is Prime0 so active?" Mickey wondered. "Barely anything happens on 616, and pretty sure this whole Multiverse was originally a DC AND Marvel crossover."

"Different writers with different priorities." Bugs replied. "I'd ask the Monks, but we both know those folks aren't all they claim to be. Heck, even that Pighead chick overhypes herself."

"I mean, you can't blame her." Mickey looked downcast. "You know what she went through before Uatu found her and the others on 1218."

"You really are a softie, ain't ya?" Bugs rolled his eyes yet he had a fond smile on his muzzle.

"When I work with you, I gotta be!" Mickey shrugged with a smile.

A few feet away, Roger lowered his ear and looked at them sadly, shaking his head in sorrow. "I tell ya, honey, all these multiverse stories are really taking their toll on those poor fellas.. I can't even keep up with half of what they're talking about!"

"Ah, you know show business, dear." Jessica Rabbit, one of the most drop dead gorgeous woman in the Multiverse,  shrugged, petting her beloved husband on his head. "I'm sure they'll streamline everything eventually."

"I hope so.." Roger then perked up. "Hey! Do you think we could cameo if we ask?!"

"I'm sure they could be.. persuaded .. I'll bake my famous cream cheese carrot cake for them~"

"Aw, you're so sweet, darling!" Roger sighed dreamingly, hearts floating above his head.

"I learned from the best." She replied smoothly.

Wrath Ring, Hell, Earth-91316

Prince Damian of Wrath, heir to the Wrath Ring, age 160, was beyond bored.

The jackal demon hadn't had any excitement for weeks since his dad grounded him. No phone, no TV, no video games, nothing!

"What'd you think, Strike?" He gazed at the cowboy plush he'd gotten as tribute from one of the imp farmers. He pressed down on the button inside the dolls plush hand.

"'I think you should take an exorcist blade and slit your throat you damn blue blood- '"

"Geez, do you spout nothing but death threats?" Damian asked, not expecting an answer.

Maybe he could try and sneak out again? Nah, Styx would catch and rat him out to his dad like always.

Damian blinked in surprise as he sensed a shift in the air, sitting up to see a portal open in his room. "What the..?"

Out of it stepped a.. robot?.. with closed.. eyes?.. and arms outstretched. "Ah, home, sweet ho-" the bot opened his optics and froze upon seeing Damian "-me. Ah."

The two stared at each other in surprise, neither one knowing what to make of the other.

"BOY! DID I JUST SENSE YOU OPENING A PORTAL IN YOUR ROOM AGAIN?!"

Damian winced while N jumped at the loud roar.

"Ah s***."

* For the record, Earth-3799 is where Who Framed Roger Rabbit and the 2022 Rescue Rangers movie take place.

* The concept of 'core worlds' was introduced in The Watcher's Choice , so I figured I'd expand on it slightly.

As established in the aforementioned story, Prime0 and 616 (plus 1218) are the remnants of the previous multiverse that was destroyed in.. some big event.

* The scene where Mickey discusses Chip and Dale's varying relationship is loosely inspired by a Robot Chicken sketch.

* Meet Damian, who originates from Zoophobia web comic and the animated short. In this Earth, Damian is the son of Satan and Lilith, making him Charlie's younger half-brother. The 'Prime' Damian exists on Earth-269, a nod to 'Z' being the last letter of the alphabet and the 9 representing 'P' in phobia.

Whether or not Damian's (admittedly accidental) birth played a role in Lucifer and Lilith's divorce is yet to be seen.

* Yes, that 'doll' is actually a transformed Striker. Lets just say Stolas made sure he wouldn't threaten anyone again and Millie's family needed a tribute to their gods son.. two birds with one stone!

Plus, for a character like Striker, this is a Fate Worse Than Death XP

* N from the Copper 9 timeline is here and.. wait, which story did he debut in again?.. and.. why's he not in his own split timeline?

Chapter 12: Twelve Earths of Christmas

Chapter Text

Santa's Village,  North Pole, Earth-1993

"Seriously?! Evil Santa?!"

Aisha's baffled shout voiced all the rangers' opinions on the current monster, some twisted winter holiday nutball calling himself 'Heximas' and who'd taken over the North Pole after Santa left, leaving it defenceless.

Naturally, Zordon had deployed the team to stop this crook.

"You're too late, Rangers!" Heximas cackled. "Soon! My evil plan will be complete and this stupid mass of ice and snow will be wiped off the face of the globe!"

"Not on our watch, Heximas!" Tommy yelled, though his voice wavered slightly. Without access to their powers, they couldn't draw upon their full powers.

So while they could still fight Heximas unmorphed, their options were severely limited.

'We need a miracle...'

"Hohoho!"

Laser fire struck the ground in front of Heximas as a red reindeer pulled sleigh landed between him and the Rangers. The red nose of the lead reindeer dimmed, hinting at the source behind the laserfire.

"Alright!" Rocky cheered.

"Santa Claus!" Kimberly brightened up as the old man stepped out of the sleigh.

"No! Not you!" Heximas stepped back in fear.

"But, what about all the gifts?" Billy frowned upon seeing the bag still in the sleigh wasn't empty.

"Not to worry, William." Santa reassured as he pulled out a familiar looking device from his coat pocket. "I shall take it from here. I need you six to go and finish my deliveries."

"Have you always had that?" Aisha blankly asked, recalling the last Christmas they were here. "Wait, does that thing work here?!"

"Who cares?!" Kimberly grabbed her arm and pulled her into the sleigh with the others. "Do you have any idea how cool this is?!"

As Tommy took the reins, the sleigh took off as Santa Claus let out a cry as he activated his own morpher.

"Christmas Ranger Power!"

Kullersen Fissure, Canada, Earth-635

"Still hard to believe they found the Hidden World..."

Nicholas St North, aka Santa Claus, chuckled as he slapped the gruff pooka on the back. "Ah, it's good, no?"

Bunnymund scoffed. "'Good' isn't exactly how I'd put it."

"Bunny..." Toothiana put her hands on her shoulders.

"It's true! Name one good thing that came from that underground dragon ground." Bunnymund argued.

"Finding out dragons are real?" Jack quipped from his perch as he looked down at the group of kids saddling up their respective dragons. "Any other supposedly mythical beings you guys wanna tell me about? We've got aliens, fables.. I'm all ears."

"None that come to mind." Tooth admitted. "Why?"

"Cause I swear a talking sandwich just rode past us on a grizzly bear with cocaine around its mouth." Jack dryly pointed.

The other guardians stared at the sight before Sandy sighed a response that encompassed their shared thoughts.

'What the fu-'

Laughton Farm, America, Earth-199999

Scrooge Laughton scratched his head in confusion at the sight before him.

His farm's new scarecrow, one his kids had called 'Ebenezer' (a pun on his own name), had a sack of coal in front of him. He then shrugged it off, after all, what was more useless in winter than coal?

Though upon seeing the tag attached to the sack, he couldn't help but ponder one question.

"Who on Earth is Thomas Milner?" He asked out loud.

Inside the Phantom Ruby, Earth-1991

"Merry Christmas, Finny-Fin-Fin!"

Heterochromic eyes glared at the 15yo, unamused. "Quarte, what've I said about calling me that?"

"Aw, but Boss!" Quarte mock pouted. "Can't I do it for old times sake?"

"And remind him of his birth name?" Trois snorted from a few feet away.

"Not a chance." Uno smirked in agreement.

Infinite, once known as Finn and Zero, just scowled but couldn't stop his tail wagging slightly as he celebrated the holidays with his team.. with his family…

".. Maybe I can let the nickname slide this once…"

He did not yelp when Quarte nuzzle him nor blush when Duex burst out laughing.

Gazing down at the ruby embedded in his glove, Gadget the Wolf watched empathetically as he saw the gemstones prisoner go about his life, blissfully stuck in the illusion.

Though it wasn't what the 'Ultimate Mercenary' deserved, Gadget couldn't help himself but to grant him a small mercy.

A life with his dead family.

"Merry Christmas, Infinite."

Pocketing the jewel, he continued on his walk.

Barry, his beloved enbyfriend, was waiting.

Krampus Workshop, North Pole, Earth-15

Deep in the northern mountains, hidden from the rest of the world, a towering figure shuffled through the caverns, till he came to a halt by a room filled with snowglobes.

Reaching into his cloak pocket, he pulled out a snowglobe and peered into it.

Within was a school with several teens looking up at their captor in fear.

And upon placing the latest globe filled with naughty individuals on a shelf, Krampus let out a dark cackle.

Thorndyke Manor, Station Square (Earth-510)

"Check it out, Sonic, this one's for you!" Chris Thorndyke held the wrapped gift to the mobian.

Taking it, Sonic blinked upon seeing two power rings within it. "What the.. how the heck did these get here?! Power rings weren't invented on Earth!"

"Santa must've brought them here from Mobius!" Chris's eyes sparkled. "See! I told you he was real!"

Gazing at the ring's radiating power, Sonic smiled at his friend. "You know what? I think you're right!"

Fernfield, Washington, Earth-48

"Dude.. you got siblings?!"

B-Dawg's surprise was shared by his siblings upon meeting their old friend, Santa Paws Jr aka 'Puppy Paws'.

"Yeah." Puppy Paws yawned briefly. "They're great, but geez, being a big brother is tough work."

"But it's totally worth it, right?" RoseBud asked, smiling.

"Yep." Puppy Paws replied before perking up. "Hey! You all wanna come back to the Pole with me and meet them?"

"Will there be cookies?!" Budderball asked eagerly as his siblings all laughed.

Vermilion City, Kanto, Earth-151

"YOU MET SANTA?!"

Ash Ketchum blinked at the dumbfounded faces of Goh Gogo and Chloe Cerise as they stood in the farmer's family apartment alongside the jolly round man.

"Uh, yeah?" Ash blinked rather cluelessly at them before facing said guest. "Anyways, what's going?"

"Why, I need your help! Team Rocket stole my sack of toys!"

".. I really can't stand those guys sometimes…"

Skylanders Academy,  Skylands, Earth-515

"How…"

Spiro winced as Stealth Elf slowly turned to face him.

"How did you get us stuck in the vault.. again?!"

Spyro gave a sheepish smile and held up a claw.

"I.. actuated no idea…"

Sertori Household, Gold Coast, Australia, Earth-38

"Mum!"

Bev Sertori laughed as her youngest daughter Kim hugged her as soon as she stepped through the door. Initially, she'd been worried about how the girls would take the first Christmas after the divorce, but it seemed like those worries were for naught.

"Help."

Blinking at Kim's harsh whisper, she was rescued from any confusion when her older daughter Cleo hugged her and whispered, "Dad's trying to cook turkey."

Bev had never rushed into a kitchen faster in her life.

Gotham, North America, Earth-1

Though it wasn't the first time she celebrated the holiday by herself, it was the first time she'd known why.

And for 29 year old Alex Russo, that made this the worst Christmas ever.

Sure, saving an entire universe and ensuring any would-be conquerors would have a harder time trying to conquer it was a nice trade, but that didn't stop her from missing her family.

A family who until the Dusting, she didn't remember having.

A family who didn't even know she existed.

"Rough day?"

Spinning around, wand drawn, Alex only lowered after spotting the red head in black.

"Oh, it's you." Alex snorted. "If this is another request to skip town, the answers still no."

Batwoman snorted. "Actually, I heard rumours of some cultists dabbling in the occult. Wanted to know if you're interested?"

Alex mulled it over, before shrugging. "Sure, why not?

Gypsy's Apartment, United States, Earth-19

As a collector, one thing was common knowledge to Gypsy.

Santa Claus was in fact, real.

So when she found the jolly round man in her apartment with a young brunette woman named Suitina Cassem (and her ghost boyfriend Nite McStabberton that Santa and Suitina herself see) she immediately went into business mode.. after opening her gift of a box full of (her favourite) assorted coffees.

"What's the situation?" Gypsy asked as she set a tray with three cubs of hot chocolate on the table.

"Her Earth was destroyed."

At once, Gypsy's heart went out to the two refugees. "Do we know what destroyed it?"

"A-a wave of.. white..." Suitina quietly replied. "I-it.. I have no idea what caused it..."

"Hm.." Gypsy looked at the holiday figure. "Guessing you can't tell me much, huh?"

"No, I'm afraid not." Santa shook his head sadly. "The state of the multiverse is fragile, and all it would take is a few steps to make it all collapse in on itself."

"Figures." Gypsy sighed. "Do you at least know what that wave was?"

She noted Suitina glanced over, eyes desperate for some answer.

One Santa gravely gifted them

"A wave of antimatter.. one that's been wiping out Earth's left and right..."

Chapter 13: I Dream of Lady

Summary:

In loving memory of Britt Allcroft (1943-2024), you will be missed.

Chapter Text

Thomas the Tank Engine was.. confused...

Last thing he could recall, he had just parked in Tidmouth Sheds alongside his friends, ready to settle down for the night.

Yet now, he was huffing and puffing down a railroad he didn't recognize.. or did he? The foggy atmosphere certainly felt familiar enough...

Wait...

"How did I get to Misty Mountains?" Thomas wondered outloud.

puff puff puff

The sound of wheels caught his attention as he looked up ahead to see a red-and-gold engine briefly dive by. Wasn't that..?

"Lady!" Thomas shouted in recognition, racing in the direction he'd seen her go. "Wait up! Lady!"

Lady was a very special engine. One whose origins were an enigma wrapped in mystery, an engine as old as the rails themselves.

In truth, very few had claimed to see her, let alone have talked to her.

Once upon a time, Lady had come to him in a dream and gave him the advice he needed to fix the runway by showing him what steamies and diesels could achieve by working together.

He hadn't seen her since, and while his friends told him either gently (Edward) or bluntly (Gordon) that it was just a dream, Thomas knew deep in his boiler that he had truly spoken with the mythical steam engine...

The last time, she'd approached him.

So why was she seemingly running from him this time?

"Lady! What's wrong?!" Thomas called into the mists. "Is someone chasing you?!"

YOU'RE ALL GONE

A booming voice echoed in the little engines head, making him cry out in surprise and pain as he slammed his breaks on.

YOU'VE ALL VANISHED FROM YOUR SODOR'S

YOU'RE THE LAST ONE SAFE

Though it was loud and potent and loud, Thomas could dimly recognize whose voice it was.. if just barely.

"L-Lady?"

THEY'LL NEED YOUR HELP

YOU'RE THE ONE WHO CAN BRING THEM HOME

BACK TO WHERE THEY BELONG

"W-who are y-y-you ta-talking about?!" Thomad yelled, weakly opening one eye, before it closed tightly when the voice answered in his head.

THE YOU WHO ISN'T YOU

THE ONES WHO ARE THE SAME AS YOU YET DIFFERENT

THE ONES WHO NEED YOU

"I-i don't understand.. L-Lady!" Thomas weakly opened his eyes as they darted about and-

.. Was the mists getting thicker...

A NEW STORY IS ABOUT TO UNFOLD

A NEW TALE TO TELL

A SPOTLIGHT IS READY TO SHINE ON YOU

Thomas could feel himself slipping, almost like he was going to sleep.. he felt tired.. so, so tired...

GOOD LUCK, THOMAS

"Wilbert?" "No, I'm J-Johnny.. Wilbert is my papa..."

"Lady, you're a really helpful engine!" "And helping each other brings to life the magic in all of us."

"Wait! Wait! All I meant was, youre not as big as I am!" "I may not be as big as you, but I'm very hard working!"

"Percy, duck!" "Quack."

Tidmouth Sheds, Island of Sodor, Earth-1324

The sunlight peaking in through the sheds cracks rose Percy from his slumber. He let out a yawn, glancing around with a smile.

"Morning Thom.." He paused upon noticing the distinct lack of a blue engine beside him. "..as?"

Glancing around, he noticed the rest of the 'Steam Team' were starting to wake up, all of them soon gaining varied looks with Gordon and James looking annoyed, Edward mirroring Percy's concern, while Henry, Emily, and Toby looked confused.

"Hey, where's Thomas?"

"Did he get up early?"

"Tsk. Why would they wake Thomas up instead of a big engine like me?"

"Ah shut yer yap, Gordon!"

"Percy?" Edward spoke up, looking concerned. "Do you know where Thomas is?"

"U-um.." Percy fretted in place briefly. "N-no! He was gone when I woke up!"

"Huh, that's odd." Toby noted.

James scoffed. "Don't tell me he's gone missing again!"

"Maybe he went for a morning stroll?" Henry suggested. "Or he got up early to welcome Nia back? She was coming to Sodor for the big race, wasn't she?"

"We could jist ask Sir Topham Hatt." Emily dryly remarked, though she smiled at the thought of seeing their foreign friend again. "Ah doubt it's anything to worry about."

"Y-yeah! Emily's right!" Percy nodded in agreement before wincing. "I hope..."

"What was that?"

"Nothing!"

The Thomas cameos here are 18989 (League of Extraordinary Gentleman), 361 (Adventures of Thomas), 1214 (Model/TATMR), 1324 (CGI), and 192 (All Engines Go). This serves as a prequel to JB's upcoming Infinity Crisis Spotlights: Thomas the Tank Engine story.

In IC, Lady is actually a cosmic being from the twelfth dimension, who merely takes on the form of a steam train to communicate with the variants of Thomas and co. She typically does this by giving them psychic visions like in Calling All Engines (which occured on 1898, 1214, and 1324) but has also once joined in an adventure on Earth-1214 (the events of Thomas and the Magic Railroad).
