   Summary

   After a violent uprising outside the castle's walls, King Logan confronts Velen, his youngest sibling, with an impossible ultimatum. He demands that Velen either execute the protesters or sacrifice his beloved. Refusing to comply with either option, Velen defiantly stands up to his brother, only to be presented with a third alternative: marrying into the rival kingdom. Unexpectedly, Velen's sister, Octavia, steps forward, offering herself as the resolution to this perilous dilemma. In a stunning twist of fate, Logan arranges for Octaiva to marry Miquella, the youngest of the Lenydell royal siblings, sealing an unexpected alliance between the two feuding kingdoms.
