Some Backstory: The Admins were formerly superheroes who, along with their Digimon partners, used them to help people. However, as they got older, they stopped using the Miraculouses. Instead, they all resigned themselves to guardians, splitting them between the seven of them. All but one received three Miraculouses to look after.

Simon Reddington would be the only one who had not received three, instead holding only one - The Butterfly. He had grown somewhat bitter in age and had become obsessed with the idea of creating a 'perfect' world. But, to do that, he of course needed the Ladybug and Black Cat. And luckily for him, he knew who had them.

At least, he thought he did. Their guardians, Lucia Yi and Jordan Hedgewick, sent the Miraculouses far away and went into hiding, so that he would not find them. So, instead of searching for them himself, he decided to use the Butterfly Miraculous to create "Champions" that would retrieve them in his stead.

Lore:

So Digimon exist in a space that, like Ghost Game and Xros Hunters, allows them to affect the Human World without being seen. They rarely appear in the Human World, preferring to live in their plane of existence, but can be brought out through the use of some Miraculous... like the Butterfly.

When a Digimon is Akumatized, they materialize in the Real World. They then experience something akin to a Dark Digivolution, driving them mad and causing them to go berserk. They don't always get Akumatized though, some humans do too

If a hero bonds with a Digimon, they gain a Miracle Device, which is eventually just a Digivice that is connected to a specific Miraculous. It allows the Digimon to gain an evolutionary stage known as Miracle Digivolution, where they Digivolve using the power/energy of the Miraculous (Sort of like Armor Digivolution if that makes sense, but somewhere between Champion and Ultimate). Instead of a common Digimon name, they gain a title/superhero name of sorts. The Miracle Device also allows them to enter the other plane that most Digimon exist in.

So for the designs, I was thinking that they would gain upgrades or style changes to show the character growths/developments (Aka the outfit changes that the characters go through lol). So there's the beginning design and then the upgraded design

I've only got designs in mind for 4 characters so far-

For the upgraded design, the skirt is gone and is replaced by a shorts-like pattern on the suit (connected to the bodice area, red with black spots). The legs of the suit are completely black, the collar of the suit has been lowered, and her boots have the ability to turn into skates. Her mask is split diagonally colorwise, one side being black with red spots and the other being red with black spots. Her hair becomes pigtails tied with long red ribbon.

For the upgraded design, he decided to change the look a little. He's still got the black jumpsuit, but has added a leather jacket over it, along with some chain belts connected to the main tail belt, and thicker boots. The bell has become a bit darker and almost looks like Munchy (the sentient chain ball attached to Umbramon). His mask in both forms is just a black bandana.

For his upgraded design, his whole outfit changes, becoming like his new outfit in Digi-Destiny. However, instead of the black underclothes, is it primarily orange. The vest turns white with gold details, while his gloves remain unchanged. His hair also becomes a dark orange closer to his scalp (which you can see because his hair is slicked back). The fox ears are smaller and attached to his head, leaning back with his hair. His gloves also gain fox paw prints on the palm side. The mask is somewhat smaller and has a white bottom, with the black outline going over it.

For upgraded design, he's got a sleeveless deep green jumpsuit, with a light green strap crossing diagonally over his upper body, thick green shoes, darker green pads on his knees. There are similar pads on his elbows, shaped like hexagonal shells. He also has one darker green, fingerless glove on his left hand and then one fingerless gauntlet on his right hand (similar to his grappling hook). Like Reiner, he's wearing a green bandanna and the shield is strapped to his back.

"Woohoo!"

A loud cheer filled the air as the superhero swung through the air, the wind ruffling her hair and skirt. She twisted her body, shifting so that her feet were first to impact into the concrete top of the building. She skidded a bit, but stuck the landing, pulling at the string to retract her yoyo. She looked down at the item in her hand and then threw it up in the air, a grin on her face.

"Miraculous Glitter Lucky!"

The item exploded into a swarm of glowing ladybugs, swirling through the air before flying off. Any damage caused by the fight, any injuries that civilians might have gotten, was instantly healed as soon as the ladybugs swam over them. Glitter Lucky, as she called herself, beamed at it all.

Another figure landed on the roof next to her, clad in full black. The staff he held retracted and he slung it over his shoulder like a bat as he gave her a look.

"Hey there, alley cat!" she said, grinning at the older boy. "What's that look for?"

"Aren't you supposed to be in school?" he asked, ignoring the nickname as he crossed his arms. She shook her head. "Nah, it's put on hold for Akuma attacks. I'm fine."

He frowned. "Well, the attack is over now. That hold is probably going to lift soon."

"Oh yeah..." Her earrings beeped. "And I'm gonna turn back soon too. Aw man..."

"Want me to take you back?" he offered, but she immediately shook her head. She put her hands on her hips, frowning at him. "No way! I'm too old for a chaperone! Plus, secret identities and stuff, remember?"

He backed off, though there was still some concern in his eyes. "Alright, alright. Cool it, Luckybug."

Jeez, he acts so much like Reiner.

She reminds me so much of Sammi.

Main-

Reiner: The wielder of the Black Cat Miraculous, hero name Dark Claw (affectionately called 'Alley Cat' by Glitter Lucky). As Dark Claw, he is a stoic and stern protector, who wants to deal with Akumas and Digimon as fast as he can. Despite his tough and rough exterior, he's actually a pretty nice guy. He's protective of Lucky, treating her like his own little sister (gee, wonder why) and kind to any of the young civilians or Akuma victims that they run into. The children of the town seem to favor him as a hero, though that's not to say he doesn't have people who see him as 'too dangerous and scary'.

In his civilian life, he is a young man working multiple jobs, trying to make rent for his family's apartment and to hopefully own his own restaurant some day in the future. He has gained a reputation as being some sort of tough guy that used to lead a gang (albeit reluctantly). He still keeps in touch with some of the members, even though the 'gang' has long since disbanded. It's heard that he's seen talking to someone at his street stall late at night, but it's unknown as to who. His gang has been trying to spy on him and find out who it is, but he kicks them out the moment he sees them.

Sammi: The wielder of the Ladybug Miraculous, hero name Glitter Lucky (affectionately nicknamed Glitterbug by Dark Claw). As Glitter Lucky, she is a hyperactive and excited hero, eager to use her abilities as much as she can. She's childish, she's scrappy, and she's fast. People are entertained by her antics, but DC does have to rein her in from time to time. They still have a job to do, after all. She doesn't like being treated as a little kid, but it's a bit hard when everyone else treats her that way. People jokingly call her a 'magical girl', which she feels is appropriate for her.

In her civilian life, she's a little more reserved and somewhat of a loner. Most people consider her weird, though they don't know her very well due to her being sick most of the time. She's an enjoyer of animes, video games, and, of course, Zombie Cat. Her closest friends are (OCs) Alicia S., Blake K., and Tobias R.. She was recently assigned a tutor to help her keep up with the schoolwork she misses, but this tutor ends up being her biggest bully, Henrietta Pasternak. She doesn't like the arrangement, but she needs it for her grades and Henrietta is an actually good tutor.

Secondary-

Gary: The eldest child of the Pasternak family. He's not exactly a memorable character, always fading into the background. He works under a friend of his father's, who treats him rather poorly, and stays out for long hours, seemingly trying to avoid going back to his house for as long as he can. He used to have a passion for magic, but doesn't really practice it anymore due to it now being good for his father's image. He only usually hangs out with his college friend Liam, if he even has the time to.

Henrietta: The youngest child of the Pasternak family. She keeps the image of a prim, proper, and successful child, though only when around her family or in the general public eye. When at school with her friends, she's a bully and is never caught or punished because of her status as the mayor's daughter. Her favorite target has been Sammi and her friends. Recently though, she's been assigned to tutor Sammi, which is an arrangement that neither of them like. But, she needs it to keep up her image, and Sammi's not too bad company...

E.R.: A young man with a big heart and relaxed demeanor. He's not the smartest person around, but he is the most reliable and outgoing. He usually goes along with whatever is going on around him. A lot of people like him, for good and bad reasons. He's well known for getting himself injured due to some rather dangerous or impractical stunts, earning himself the nickname "E.R." due to almost constantly being in the ER. Some people like to record his stunts just for views, though he'd rather they not.

Riot: A former, well-known bully who is trying hard to redeem himself, though the fact he keeps getting into fights is not helping his case. He's loud, boisterous, and somewhat hotheaded, but also rather crafty. He likes working with his hands, being a somewhat skilled mechanic working at his uncle's shop. He and E.R. tend to hang out a lot, with E.R. usually acting as his medic after fights. Their friendship is surprising to most, given as Riot used to bully the former heavily. He admires the heroes a lot and sometimes wishes to join them.

Grayson: A quiet and introverted young man, who prefers to just stay in his own technological world. He's an intern at Reddington Co., directly under Simon himself. He is completely unaware of his boss's secrets. He is also a big fan of the superheroes, creating a website about them that details who they are, their observed abilities, and their fights. Digimon are of a great interest to him as well, given their surprising and sudden appearance. He has made his own separate website just to study them.

???: The little guy who stores some of the Miraculous and delivers them. He shows up to help if the heroes need it, but is otherwise popping up randomly around town.

Mrs. Takeshi: Sammi and Reiner's mom. She's a tired but kind woman who does her best to support her children. Like Reiner, she works multiple jobs to help meet rent, pay for Sammi's hospital bills, and to secretly save up for a family restaurant to share with her children. She's not around a lot, but she makes up for that by making big family dinners for them to eat.

Admins/Guardians-

Lucia: One of the original heroes and now a retired guardian. She's a reserved and somewhat eccentric young woman, covered in a long cloak. She was the Guardian of the Ladybug miraculous, but had sent it away due to her discovery of Simon's plans. She was also able to send out a message to her fellow Admins before she was taken by HiAndromon and hidden away. Her current status is unknown, but the other Admins are trying to find her after her message reached them. She is unharmed as a captive, though her Miraculous and Digivice had been taken away.

Jordan: One of the original heroes and now a retired guardian. He keeps tabs on the Digital World, trying to ensure the peace and stability of it while also juggling his duties as a Guardian. He had gone into hiding after HiAndromon's attempt to take the Black Cat Miraculous. He now tries to keep tabs on the two new heroes that have appeared in town, his former ally's activities as a villain, and the locations of the other Admins. This, on top of his other job already protecting the Digital World. It's hard, but at least he has Meteormon around to help him out.

Simon: One of the original heroes who has become a villain, now wielding the Butterfly Miraculous. For one reason or another, he has become bitter and is now obsessed with creating a 'perfect' world. He Akumatizes both humans and digimon in order to obtain the Black Cat and Ladybug. Outside of this, he just appears as a normal successful and benevolent businessman, running a huge tech company (Which also helps keep him connected to the Digital World). He has also created a TV show that showcases his and his friends adventures as DigiDestined, disguising it as a cartoon.

Reiner leaned against the counter of the street stall, eyes closed as he listened to the rain fall against the roof. He knew the chance of any customers coming out in this weather was low, but he still had to work the full shift in order to get paid. It wasn't too bad though - At least he still had some shelter.

He sighed and opened up his eyes, watching as droplets peppered the area around him. Just had to wait until the end of the next hour. Then he could go home, see his mom and sister, maybe eat some dinner, then pass out. Then he'd do it all over again tomorrow...

Something shifted in the rain, catching his attention. Reiner leaned forward, squinting through the raindrops. Who was that...? And why would they be out at this weather?

His eyes widened, seeing something else following the previous figure.

"HEY! BEHIND YOU! LOOK OUT!"

Gary was stumbling through the rain, soaked down to the bone. First, his van broke down on him, forcing him to leave it at the shop to be repaired. Then, his boss yelled at him for being late, even though he explained why he was late and that he couldn't do anything about it. Finally, he had been forced to walk home, because no one in his family was able to come pick him up and Liam was out of town.

And now, it was raining.

Just great.

He grit his teeth, arms wrapped around himself to try to stay a little warm. It wasn't helping. At all. He actually felt more cold, feeling his clothing cling to his body and freezing raindrops pelt his skin.

Gary reached up and gripped his hair, tugging at it harshfully. A strangled, angry noise escaped his mouth, echoing in the general silence of the street. Who cared how he looked? It wasn't like anyone was gonna see him-

"Hey! BEHIND YOU! LOOK OUT!"

He flinched, whirling around at the shout. His eyes widened, stumbling backward as he saw an Akuma floating towards him.

It was too close- He couldn't get away in time-!

A cup suddenly slammed down on top of the butterfly, a hand quickly capping it so that it couldn't escape.

Gary couldn't stop himself from falling and ended up landing in a puddle. Water splashed, more freezing water washing over him, but he didn't seem to notice. He was just staring, wide-eyed, at the figure standing over him.

Reiner, out of breath from leaping over the counter and sprinting over, panted. The cup was slightly strangled, but he could still hear the soft fluttering sounds of the butterfly, indicating it was trapped. He had grabbed the cup and cap from nearby, his body moving before his mind could catch up with him.

His eyes fell on the man in front of him, soaked down to the bone and very much in shock. He knew this guy - He was the mayor's son. He came by the shop sometimes to grab food and always looked exhausted.

And now, he looked downright miserable.

"Hey," Reiner croaked, quickly clearing his throat after. "Wanna... come inside, I guess?"

"...Yeah, sure."

"Digimon's beat, Gorgon," Melissae reported, landing on the ground next to him. She stretched, a small humming noise pulling from her throat. He gave her a thumbs up, smiling slightly, before looking around.

"Where are the others?"

As soon as he said that, a tunnel of water appeared next to the two of them, before taking a more solid shape as a young woman. She shook, sending droplets of water flying. They gave her unamused looks, now soaked head to toe in water.

She gave them a grin in response, fangs flashing. "Nekorus, present!"

A portal opened up in front of them and a figure stepped through, smoothing out his feathered coat. Melissae waved. "Hey, Hippogriff."

The man looked over to her and gave a smile, before looking over the group. "So we're just missing Shadowfly and Minibug."

Gorgon sighed, going back to scanning the rooftops. "Of course we are. Hang on, I'll go-"

"Sorry, am I late?"

He stopped as he was about to jump off, slowly turning to look behind the rest of the group. A young man clad in black, with purple accents throughout, gave them an apologetic smile. Gorgon raised an eyebrow. "Where's Minibug?"

Shadowfly blinked, smiling innocently. "Who?"

Nekorus snickered, but Melissae and Gorgon scowled. "Simon/Shadowfly-"

There was a tiny giggle, coming from the pocket on Shadowfly's vest. His smile lost the innocent edge, mischief overtaking it as he reached into the pocket and pulled out a little being.

"Minibug, present!" The tiny young woman, clad in grey, black, and red, squeaked out, still giggling. Shadowfly held her in his palm as they both grinned at their friends, who either sighed or laughed along with them.

She blinked.

Air rushed into her lungs and she made a choking sound, falling down to her knees. Gravel dug harshly into her skin, threatening to break through, but she could hardly process it. Tears stung her dry eyes, rolling down her face as she curled over and sobbed. Her entire body ached, sharp pains shooting through her as her lungs burned and her heart beat fast.

What was that?

She couldn't hear, see, talk, or feel before. She couldn't breathe before. Everything had just been an endless void, one where there was no pain, no feeling, nothing. It was peaceful and horrible, all at once, everything erased from her in an instant.

But then, it all came back to her, sudden and intense, in a quick swirl of ladybugs. Undoing her injuries, internal and external, but leaving her memories untouched.

Through the ringing in her ears, she heard something - Multiple somethings - impacting into the ground nearby and some muffled voices speaking. She couldn't make out what they were saying-

All of a sudden, she felt hands being placed on her shoulders and she lifted her head, blinking away tears to clear her vision.

"-rietta! Can you hear me?"

She blinked, tears rolling down her cheeks as she stared at the blur of orange and white in front of her. Her head jerked, nodding without her awareness.

"Are you okay? Are you hurt?"

A whimper pulled from her throat. She tried to speak and a strangled noise escaped her before she choked out, "The building fell- I couldn't move in time- It was so dark-"

The figure said nothing in response to that, as she sobbed in their arms. Instead, they just held her close, and she felt something soft brushing her skin. She grasped the figure in a hug, burying her face in the softness, seeking the comfort it brought her as she cried. They were whispering to her, but she couldn't hear, too distressed to listen.

"Is she okay?" Lucky asked, concerned as she watched the girl crying in the fox hero's arms. Claw was a little farther away, trying to control the crowd after the disaster of an Akumatized Digimon. He glanced back at them, eyebrow raised, but Lucky shook her head at him.

Valentino looked down at the girl in his arms, then hooked one arm under her legs and wrapped the other around her shoulders. He then stood, lifting her in the air as she hugged him. "I... I'm not entirely sure. But, I'm gonna take her home. It might... help her, somewhat. Being out of the public eye."

"...Alright. Keep her safe."

"Of course. What kind of brother would I be if I didn't?"

Main/Secondary-

Alicia: One of Sammi's best friends and classmates! She's a big fan of animes, specifically ones that contain magical heroines. So when the superheroes appear, specifically Glitter Lucky, she fangirls (which is a bit awkward and flattering for Sammi). She'll try to constantly talk to the heroine whenever she sees her swinging around town and is always excited when they get to have an actual conversation. Outside of this, she's a very sweet girl who does her best to make everyone feel happy and included.

Blake: Another one of Sammi's best friends and classmates! A little more shy compared to Alicia, but still just as friendly. They enjoy hanging out with their little friend group, though they don't really talk much compared to everyone. They just kinda stay around in the background and listen to conversation around them. They don't enjoy getting roped into dangerous situations though, such as when Alicia wants to run off to watch the heroes despite the school telling them to go hide somewhere safe.

Tobias: A character who I changed to appear later on, as opposed to him immediately being part of the group. He's a new kid who arrived later on in the school year, transferring over from homeschooling. He was a bit reserved at first, preferring to keep his own company, before Sammi somehow roped him into her friend group. Despite their friendship, they know little about him, as he doesn't really talk about himself. He's whipsmart and observant, able to identify when Akumas or Digimon are about to be manifested.

Casey: One of Reiner's friends and his 'second-in-command'. They're a rather laid-back person who keeps their other friends in check and makes sure their boss/friend isn't too stressed. Though they're not a flashy hero like Dark Claw and Glitter Lucky, they still do their best to help out during Akuma/Digimon attacks. Usually just trying to herd civilians and bystanders out of the way, so that the heroes can get their job done without worrying about others. It takes a lot to get them upset or overly emotional.

Completely Secondary (Mostly in the background but sometimes have important appearances)-

Liam: E.R.'s big brother! He's just as friendly and as goofy as his little brother, though much less accident-prone. Though friendly, he is somewhat overprotective of E.R. He won't protest against his hobbies, but he does disapprove of some of the more dangerous stunts. And his friendship with Riot, since he's still skeptical of his change in behavior. He's also good friends with the Mayor's son, Gary. He tries to encourage his friend's interests and hobbies, especially given how happy it seems to make him.

Vivian: One of E.R.'s friends, nicknamed Viv. She's got the biggest crush on him, which he is oblivious too (just like how she's oblivious to his obvious crush on someone else). She gets flustered around him easily, making it obvious. She's friendly, though a bit overwhelming and very chatty. She's also rather clumsy, seeming to trip on nothing but air most of the time. It's a fact that she's embarrassed by, though her friends reassure that it is alright and that she's fine.

Alexander: One of E.R.'s friends, nicknamed Alex. They met at a skatepark competition, where E.R. had accidentally been launched off a ramp and ended up crashing into him. The two became fast friends in the hospital room, sharing tips and tricks with one another. He's a hyperactive guy who enjoys the thrill of life and who is in the hospital almost as much as E.R. He doesn't have nearly as many broken bones though. He thinks the heroes are the coolest and gives them his full support.

Diana: One of E.R.'s friends, nicknamed Dia. The one who's a little more relaxed compared to everyone else. She prefers to just hang out and watch the others, usually being the one to persuade them away from the more dangerous stunts. It doesn't always work, given the nature of her friends, but she still tries. Like E.R., she keeps a medical kit on her just in case of emergencies - Which, between all the akumas and digimon and stuff, happens a lot. She really admires what the heroes do, though she worries about Lucky given her age.

Finn: A self-taught coder and self-proclaimed hacker who is homeschooled. He has declared Grayson as his 'rival', mostly out of jealousy and admiration of the other's computer skills. He always sets up competitions or puzzles to see how the two compare, keeping track on who wins the most. Despite their rivalry, they do hang out from time to time, because they're both just lonely kids at the end of the day. He doesn't have much company (or friends) otherwise. He's a sweet kid, if not a huge dork.

Sammi's Classmates (Just Names): Maria, Juniper, Tyrone, Dennis, Tyler, Henry, Vickey, Gale, Alva, Jake. They have some individual character traits that I won't delve into, at least not in this post.

Reiner's Friends (Just Names): Nico, Kenzo, Arata. Former members of his 'gang', now just a group of friends that like to hang out together. They do still treat him like he's their leader, though most of their actual commands come from Casey.

Antagonistic Secondary-

Julianna: One of Henrietta's "friends". Typical mean girl, who talks trash about other people and enjoys playing cruel 'pranks'. She instigates the most of the bullying and pressures the other two into helping her. She's from a richer part of town, which is how she met Henrietta, though she only befriended the girl because she was the mayor's daughter. Her parents had told her to get close with her to make their own family look better. She's very unpleasant and little people enjoy her company, not even her friends.

Ariana: One of Henrietta's "friends". Another typical mean girl, who likes to listen to gossip and spread rumors about people. She's almost always scrolling on her phone, texting her friends or posting on social media. She's good at lying and can weasel her way out of any situation with the use of fake tears. She's convinced everyone she's the best of the three, even though she is actually the worst. She wormed her way into the friend group in order to gain a better status, since she's not from a well-known or prominent family.

Ivan + Chris: Riot's former friends, who used to help him bully other kids. They're still bullies themselves and pick on basically everyone in the school. Sammi's one of the few kids they leave alone, only because they're afraid of Reiner, who has previously beaten the shit out of them. They also leave Riot alone for the same reason - Like Reiner, he kicked their asses just by himself.

"Alex, I swear I will off your character," Dia deadpanned, glaring at her snickering friends sitting around her.

"Not if I off him first for stealing my shit!"

"I apologized for that!"

"Hey, how about we don't off anyone?"

"Can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm siding with Riot on this one."

They had created a small DnD set up in her basement, pushing together two fold-up tables and pulling up some chairs. The surface was covered in a giant map, with their little customized tokens sitting on it. Snacks, drinks, and paper littered the surfaces that wasn't already covered, sharing with one another.

It seemed like they were having a fun time, with Dia set up behind a DM screen guiding their adventure. The girl was shaking her head in exasperation, trying to fight the smile that was threatening to cross her face.

E.R. was still pouting at Alex, though his eyes were lit up with amusement. Alex was trying to hide behind Viv, who shook her head at the two of them as a giggle escaped her. Riot was leaning on the table, taking a sip of his soda as he chuckled.

"Assuming what just happened..." he began, glancing at Alex. The other boy gave a wide grin, turning to their DM. "Bar fight?"

"Bar fight," Dia sighed in agreement. "Alright everyone, roll me initiative. And pray you roll higher than these dragons you just pissed off."

The group was walking towards the slope, just conversing with each other. Viv walked slightly ahead of the group, gaze focused on a cloud passing in front of the moon. She was so distracted by it...

...she didn't notice the random shopping cart sitting in front of her.

"Eh-?!"

She tripped, flipping over into it. The cart was pushed forward due to the force and slowly began to move, approaching the hill's edge. She was dazed, clutching her head as she blinked. The others were distracted, having not noticed her fall in.

Not until she began to scream, as she plunged off the edge and began racing down the slope.

"AHHH-!"

"Oh shit, Viv-!" E.R. cursed and quickly began to run after her, followed by the others.

"Hang on! We're coming!"

"How'd she even get in there?!"

"I don't know! Probably her clumsy curse!"

Riot leaned against Dia, ignoring the buzzing from his phone as he continued playing on the switch. He was frowning slightly, eyebrow creased as he concentrated on the game Alex challenged him to.

His friend was lying upside down on the bench next to him, idly kicking his legs in the air as he button mashed. Dia napped against Riot's shoulder, greatly unbothered by the noise around her as Viv paced back and forth.

"Why ya pacing, V?" Alex questioned, looking up from the switch briefly. Something Riot took advantage of, resulting in the death of his character.

"You damn bastard-"

"Shoulda kept your eyes on the game, Alex."

Viv made a small whining noise, looking at her phone as she played with her newly braided hair. "He should be here by now."

"Who? E.R.?"

"Yeah!"

"He's fine," Riot dismissed. "He said he'd be late."

"But what if there's an Akuma or something?"

They all paused to consider that.

"...They'd have sent out an alert if that was the case."

"Or we'd be seeing fire and destruction and other types of things."

Viv grumbled, but conceded, taking a seat next to Alex as they all sat in silence.

That silence was soon interrupted by what sounded like a growling noise, growing louder as whatever it was approached. Riot flinched for a moment, startled. Alex slipped off the bench completely, grunting as his head hit the ground. Dia snorted awake, jerking away and looking around in tired confusion.

Viv looked ecstatic though, leaping off the bench. "He's here!"

"Huh? What do you mean-?"

He got an answer soon, as a motorcycle soon skidded to a stop in front of them, kicking up dust. The figure on it kicked at the stand as soon as they did, letting it lean before swinging off of it. Riot tilted his head, confused, as Viv ran up to hug the figure.

Alex and Dia seemed to be unsurprised as well. Alex simply got up and brushed the dirt off his clothes, grinning, while Dia shook her head and rubbed the sleep out of her eyes.

"About time dude!"

"Hi E.R...."

Riot blinked. "That's E.R.?"

"'Sup dudes!" The voice was muffled, but unmistakably his. He wrapped one arm around Viv as she hugged him, while the other fiddled with the helmet on his head. He was soon able to take it off, shaking his head as he grinned. His hair curled around his ears and face, messy. "Sorry, I know I'm late."

The others greeted him normally, but Riot just stared for a few more moments.

"...Huh."

These ones are kind of like "Villain of the Day" plots. Some have lore importance, some are just filler, etc.
